I stared at the woman in front of me. She smiled to me but I noticed that something about her outer appearance didn't match with the look in her eyes. Then it hit me, she was probably irritated because I was still sitting instead of standing to greet her.

But as the heir to the throne, I was still superior to her and she knew that. She kept smiling and sat down. "How are you doing, Haruhi." She asked friendly.

"Fine." I answered, I didn't hid my annoyance.

"That's good to hear." She said. An awkward silence followed.

"I'm also doing fine." She said after a while, indicating me for not asking her how she was doing.

Not that it interested me.

"How's Ryouji-san doing?"

I looked at her in surprise, she knew about Oto-san? "Fine." I answered again.

She smiled. "That's great." She took a bottle of wine and poured herself a glass. "I heard you attend Ouran High School." She said. "Must be tough... being the only commoner among the rich, isn't it?"

"I'm doing fine." I replied. "Aunt Aneko, let's get to the point." I said.

My aunt laughed. "You became a hasty person, Haruhi-chan." She said and I felt a sting of annoyance when she addressed me with familiarity.

"Let's take our time, sweetheart. It's been such a long time since we saw each other." She said, I got the feeling she was mocking me. "So…School is going fine too." She repeated.

"… Indeed."

Aunt Aneko smiled. "Great."

She nipped from her glass. "What about Arata-kun? Is he doing… fine?" she asked.

I fell silent in surprise. She even knew about Arata. "How… do you know Arata?" I asked hesitant.

It couldn't be… that he betrayed me, right?

"He was the son of your mother's bodyguard, wasn't he?" she answered. "he was such a cute boy in his younger years, very cheerful."

Arata, cheerful? Are we talking about the same person?

"Aunt." I said. "Please get to the point now."

She looked at me and smiled. "Well, if you keep insisting." She said. "I heard from my son that you wanted to meet me." Again I looked at her in surprise, so Akito told her. "But instead of waiting till you would contact me, I decided to plan our meeting myself."

"And for that you had to kidnap my friend?" I asked. " And sent an assassin to me?"

"An assassin?" she repeated and frowned. "Someone attacked you today?" she asked.

I nodded, confused, it hadn't been my aunt who sent that assassin? Then who did?

Aunt Aneko sighed. "I clearly told him not to send someone." She whispered but accidentally loud enough for me to hear.

Him?

I decided to pretend as if I hadn't heard something. "So you invited me to ask these questions?" I asked. "Did you decide to play a good, concerned aunt to her niece?"

She laughed. "No, not really." She said and smiled again. "Akito told me you had some questions for me." She said. "So, what did you want me to ask me?"

I looked at her and gulped. "I have only one question."

She nodded.

"Are you… responsible for the dead of my parents?"

She stayed quite for some time and closed her eyes. "Yes, I am." She replied honestly.

My heart skipped a beat and my breath sped slightly. "I see." I stood up and shove my chair underneath the table. "Thank you for being honest."

"You're leaving already?" she asked, some panic could be heard in her voice. I didn't answer and walked to the door. She quickly stood up and called my name. "Haruhi!"

Turning around to face her was really difficult for me, I couldn't stand the thought of being in alone with the woman that killed my father and mother, so I kept my eyes on the door. "What?" I asked coldly.

"Y-you can't just leave like that." She said.

"Why not?"

"I still have something to tell you."

"Then you should have told me when you had the chance." I said.

My aunt opened and closed her mouth a couple of times. "It's important." She tried.

I sighed and tried to restrain myself from running away. "Yes?" I asked annoyed.

"Make your identity known." She said.

"Eh?!"

She smirked arrogantly. "Make your existence known to the world and fight me for the throne."

I stared at my aunt. Did she really just said what I think she said?

"What…?" I asked confused.

"If you want to get revenge for you parents then try to take the throne from me." She repeated. "Haruhi, I'm telling you to become a princess again."

I took a shaky breath. "I'll… think about it…" I said and pulled open the door and sped out of the room. I couldn't stay one more minute with my aunt. How could she ask me something like that? I couldn't believe it. Becoming a princess again? Never! It brought my mother and father only sadness, I refuse to die like them!

I felt tears coming up. I quickly ran out the restaurant after avoiding a waiter that I almost hadn't noticed because of my blurred view from the tears. I didn't bump in the butler-like man or a bodyguard of my aunt.

Utterly confused I tried to focus on other things instead of the depressing thoughts that were going through my mind.

How am I getting back to school? I looked around. Maybe there is a bus stop nearby or a taxi center.

"Haruhi." I heard a familiar voice and turned around.

"K-kyoya-senpai…" I said. "How… did you find me here?" I asked confused.

Kyo-niichan pushed his glasses higher. "I followed you out the school when you left with that stranger."

"W-why?"

He stayed silent for a while. "Haruhi, who are you?" he asked.

I laughed uneasy, I was emotionally too tired to have this kind of conversation. "I'm Haruhi."

Kyo-niichan didn't laugh with my stupid joke. "Mori-senpai covered for you by telling that you were his childhood friend but I think it's unlikely that the son of a prestigious family would be permitted to be friends with a commoner." He added.

"So what? What do you want to say with that?"

Kyo-niichan ignored my comment. "Moreover, I took the privilege to check your birth certification –"

"Eh!" I yelled.

"You're not Ranka-san's biological daughter, are you?" he asked. "Then my question is: Who are your biological parents, Haruhi? They were nobility, weren't they?"

The face of mom and dad flashed through my mind and I felt something break deep inside me. Tears came up again.

Dumbfounded Kyo-niichan looked at me. "Haruhi?"

I sank down on the ground and started to cry.

Soooo... guess three times who will be the next one to find out! ^_^

I really planned on updating sooner, I had to get my teeth pulled out in the hospital (with general anaesthetic and such) so I thought I would have plenty of time but after the operation I absolutly couldn't concentrate on something. It was really really awful, I went back to school after a few days but my cheeks were still a bit swollen and everyone called me a hamster, how can a person look like a hamster (even if your cheeks are swollen?)
