Good day everyone...
I actually finished this fic about a year ago, in one sitting, and it was just sitting on my notebook pages for that long! I'm a lazy writer, sorry.
Blame laziness for me being able to only type them now.
This is the last chapter. ENJOY. :D
And please leave a reviewww :3
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO THIS FIC. SORRY FOR TAKING TOO LONG. T~T
Okay, I'm just happy to have finished a multichap fic for the first time... XD
"Come on..."
Her awareness returns to hands pumping between her chest. Said hands get off her chest - one proceeding to pinch her nose and the other pulling down her lower jaw, and a third object - warm and soft, clamps down upon her mouth, pushing air down her throat...
Her eyes flew open, wide-eyed, and she pushes the person off herself. She then coughs off water, her lungs struggling to get more of the oxygen they were deprived of. The she feels the hit of nausea and her liquefied breakfast ends up on the grassy ground and she coughs some more.
"Geez, you shouldn't go off swimming on a flooded river. I don't know about you, but it's not a safe power trip. Especially not when drunk, seeing that your mouth stinks of alcohol, and cigarettes? yuck."
Haku looks at her savior. The girl's wet hair hangs limply on her head, the longer parts of it tied to one side. It must be her semi-drunk (drowning made her a little sober)state, but the golden strands seemed to shine against the setting sunlight.
The girl keeps on rambling.
"...and you should stop smoking. Wait..." the girl leans closer to her and stares, eyes squinting.
Haku feels uncomfortable for having been stared at, and turns her head away, mumbling, "I-it's rude to stare..."
The other girl, however, seems to not have heard this, as recognition lights her face up, her lips curling to a smile. She draws back and points, "You're that singer on Veetube-" she stops when she notices the girl flinch.
Scattered brains or not, Haku should've just jumped off her apartment window. "I'm sorry if you saw my horrible singing..."
"What the heck are you sorry about? If anything, those people should just go die. They didn't know what talent is."
"You're just saying that."
"No, really. I've been to some of your gigs, you know."
Haku feels her cheeks get warmer. "Y-you watch me?"
"Yeah," the girl replies with a warm smile.
It's only then that Haku notices her eyes being the same color as her golden hair.
Her mouth hangs open. She couldn't believe it. She must be dead. Is this heaven?
Buy why would drunkards go to heaven?
Realization dawns. "Wait, don't tell me you're - "
"Yeah, I'm that user that gets her account deleted. Seriously, those jerks love to jeer, but couldn't take the flaming on themselves. That site sucks anyway."
"I'm sorry -"
"Stop apologizing, okay? That site gets terminated soon. Many people have been complaining about it lately. After all, it's the perfect example for cyber bullying. Ah-!"
The girl seizes something from inside her pocket, and brings out a mobile phone, having the same color as her hair and eyes.
"Okay, if there's anything you should apologize for, it's for breaking my phone. It got to drenched because I had to stay in water a lot longer to haule your heavy ass to here, but eh, you're buying me another. And you haven't even thanked me yet!"
"Sorry," she mutters, for the last time that day, and she smiles for the first time that day, "And thank you."
Maybe she'll think of jumping again after she buys that phone.
