Chapter 9: Not Done Yet
"So you finally woke up from you nap Zan." Torus said as he stands back up. Zan turned around to tell them that when Goku and Vegeta Jr got back from their training, they first headed over to West City to wake him up. "And waking him up so nothing easy, it was kind of like trying to wake up and empty husk of a body. Kind of like waking up Goku." Vegeta Jr said with Goku chuckling.
Tenchou descended a little to get closer to everyone but kept some distant. His eyes move between the two fighters he fought the last time he come to Earth. Comparing the two to how they look now to how they looked back then. He has waited so long for this moment that he feels like he was going to explode in anticipation. His ready to get the real fight started, the fight his been waiting for. "I see that both of you have gotten back from your training" Tenchou grinningly said. Vegeta Jr points a fist at Tenchou and announces "oh yea, were back and ready to beat you, and were going all out from the start." Vegeta and Goku Jr both raise their arms and power up, transforming into their Super Saiyan Forms. The others look at this scene in awe, they look as the two in front of them are covered in a gold aura as their hairs turned golden, with Goku Jr's hair spiking straight up from what it originally was. As Zandra looks onto their transformation, she is hit with a sense of familiarity. Vegeta and Goku Jr both ascend into the air and get ready to charge Tenchou. Tenchou himself even gets into his fighting stance preparing for their attack. Zan while wanting to go with them to fight decided that this is a fight for them alone to face, and that he won't interfere in it.
Vegeta Jr charges and Tenchou and punches towards the face while Goku Jr charges and throws a kick at Tenchou's lower body. Tenchou blocks their attack with his arm and leg and throws his own punch and kick to Vegeta and Goku Jr. They both however are able to dodge the attacks. Goku and Vegeta Jr keep up with the offence as they attack in perfect unison fighting against Tenchou who is putting in all his effort to not be overwhelmed with their attacks. He does his best to block, redirect, and dodge all the hits that come his way, but there are a few that manage to get past his defenses and hit him with heavy attacks. Tenchou decides to finally move to a more offensive style while keeping his defense up. He uses his own fists and kicks against theirs, and with each of their blows that collide a miniature shockwave erupts. As their battle goes on they will go from fighting in the sky to on the island, even at times fighting underwater. Finally Tenchou decides to go on a fully offensive strategy. He grabs Goku Jr by the wrist and throws him to the island and after tossing him kicks Vegeta Jr in the same direction, Vegeta and Goku Jr able to recover before they crash onto the island. Vegeta and Goku Jr stay hovering were they are attempting to catch their breath before they continue the fight. They see Tenchou begging to clap "This is a better match then I had imagined, you two have gotten so much stronger then where u were at originally. The one whose hair didn't change much when his hair turned gold is however a little stronger. But your power just isn't enough. If you were able to increase your power just a little more, I say you would definitely be able to beat me, but I'm not giving you another chance to go off and train."
Vegeta Jr thinks to himself that Tenchou must be used to fighting multiple opponents at once, it's the only way he'd still be able to fight off Goku Jr and himself if their only a little weaker than he is. "I have an idea" Vegeta Jr looks over to Goku Jr wondering what his goanna say. "We could use the move that King Kai taught them." "That attack is useless in this situation. You think he'd give either one of us enough time to gather the energy for that attack." Vegeta Jr quickly retorted. Goku Jr quickly shakes his head "No that other move that King Kai taught." Vegeta Jr thinks about it for a few seconds before finally speaking "That move will be very risky. Once we use it we won't be able to continue the rest of this fight, so we would have to finish the fight before that happens." Vegeta Jr says with just a hint of worry. Goku Jr gets a more serious look on his face "it's the only shot we have now. It's now or never Vegeta." Vegeta Jr gets a more resolved look as Goku Jr finishes. He agrees to do it when they hear Tenchou shout "Enough time taking a break, it's time for us to continue." Tenchou Rushes them, but before he can get to them. Goku and Vegeta Jr simultaneously punch him backwards. They then power up once more, as they both shout "SUPER KAIO-KEN!"
The other looks on from the island as they see their two friends go from being surrounded by a golden aura to a flaming red aura. They see them go back on the offensive as they assault Tenchou faster and stronger than they had before. "They need to finish this quickly" uttered Zan. "Why?" Zandra asked. "Both of them are putting a large strain on their bodies. Their golden transformation wasn't bad. But the move they just used not only added to the strain, but multiplied it. I'd say they have about a minute before the strain takes them and their no longer able to fight." Zan Replied.
Vegeta and Goku Jr are on full on attack mode, they don't even need to defend, and they are attacking so fast that Tenchou doesn't have enough time to defend let alone attack. Tenchou has gone from enjoyment at the fact that they both have gotten stronger again, to worry that they are actually going to beat him. "Now or never, use your strongest attack." Vegeta Jr yelled right before he kicks Tenchou towards the sea. Vegeta Jr sticks his hands outwards before bringing them together in front of him, while Goku Jr brings his hands together at his side. They charge their blasts before Tenchou has a chance to recover. As they see Tenchou recover before going into the sea they let loose their attacks, Goku Jr firing off his Kamehameha wave that he learned from Grandpa Gohan, and Vegeta Jr firing off the Final Flash that he learned from his Grandpa Vegeta. Tenchou looks up to see how these two blasts heading towards him and as they do, they merge into an even bigger blast. Tenchou sticks his arm out and sends his own energy blast at the attack but it was to no avail. He cries out in terror as the blast envelops his entire body then the blast explodes.
Vegeta and Goku Jr revert back to their normal forms as they are panting heavily. They slowly make their way back to the island were the others were watching the battle. As they make their way, twice they fell slightly as they had so little Ki left to stay flying with. They manage to get back to the island just before they fall straight into the sea. Torus and Zandra are patting them on the back with Ichi cheering for them. "Well I have to give you two props. However it seems that you completely destroyed his body. Which means will have to find some evidence that he was killed. But I believe we might be able to find something on his ship." Zan is smiling at the two for their fight, but he keeps finding himself turning towards were Tenchou was hit with the wave of energy. "I'll admit, it was a great plan, and we defeated him just in time. I don't think I could move my hands to eat something." Vegeta Jr voiced. Goku Jr groans at what Vegeta Jr said "and I am so hungry right now. It's been like 12 hours since we last hate, and we arrived here right after finishing our training." Everyone begins to laugh until they hear a blast of energy coming right at them. Zan knocks it away before the others can finish turning their heads to see what was going on. The blast flies off heading towards Tenchou's ship, and once it makes contact blows up the ship entirely as all the pieces of it go flying towards the ocean. As they look to the origins of were the Ki blast came from, and see Tenchou emerge from the sea panting.
"Very good, if it wasn't for me firing my own attack, yours would of destroyed me completely. And unlike the two of you whose bodies are strained and worn out. My body is still working fine." Tenchou told them. As Goku and Vegeta Jr struggle to get into a fighting position with Zandra, Ichi, and Torus stand with them. Zan steps in front of them all and blocks Tenchou from them. Tenchou chuckles "You think you can defeat me? I can sense your power. You may be considerably stronger than your three friends there. But you are no where as strong as the two that I just faced." Zan just keeps looking at him, barley paying attention to what he said. "You may be able to sense how strong how I am now, but you don't know anything." Tenchou raises an eye at what he says. Zan begins to crack his knuckles and stretches, grinning thinking about the battle that is about to happen.
[Writer's Note: when Goku and Vegeta Jr refer to people like Gohan, Vegeta, Goku and so on, they will use Grandpa or grandma respectively instead of great great great whatever.]
