Hey guys;
I am so sorry about the long wait for the newest chapter. The last few months, my life has been a roller coaster. Just a month or two after the last posting, my grandmother suffered a stroke so the few weeks after were a trying time for my family and then, my sister was diagnosed with the early stages of severe depression, so we're dealing with that as well.
My mind unfortunately wasn't in the frame of mind for any stories, particularly the almost dark aspects of RDA, so I had placed it on hold for a while. I worked on other stories, hoping to get over the emotional funk (hence the crackfic Payback) and it worked a little because not only did I finish the other story I was working on, but, I managed to finish the chapter for RDA; yes, that's right, it's already written.
Tonks went through some personal crisis as well, as well as taking much needed vacations, so I told her to put RDA out of her mind until she was in the frame of mind to work. All that's left for the chapter is the Paris scenes with Harry and the others and an order scene where, hint-hint, someone dies after. By the length of the chapter now, I think that by the time we add in those couple of scenes, we'll end up splitting the chapter into two (or maybe three) parts which would mean back-to-back updates for you guys…
Again, I am so sorry. I should've written this note a long time ago, but I had thought that I would be able to finish and post the chapter months ago. I'm working on a few one-shots in the meantime…
I've probably lost a lot of fans due to the lack of updates and I'm sure no one's really interested in anything else I do write because of said lack and if that really is the case, then after completing RDA, I'll more than likely take a hiatus from the HP fandom. I don't want to, but, if there are no fans, I will have to…
For those who have stayed and are waiting patiently, please just bear with us a little while longer…
