It was midday in the Lantern Kingdom as Nixe and Riku appeared in the forest in a flash of light, Nixe wasting no time to look around and marvel at the world around her while Riku pulled back his hood.
"Whoa! So pretty!" she gasped as Riku chuckled.
"The Worlds are full of amazing sights and wonders." Riku said as she looked at him with a smile.
"You've been to other worlds before, right?" she asked as he gave a nod.
"That's right. Almost as many as Sora. Maybe more." Riku replied as he dusted off his coat.
"So which way do we go?" Nixe asked. Riku was about to reply when they heard a voice cheering behind them…
"This is so much fu~u~u~un!"
They both turned and saw a girl in a pink dress with a head full of long blond hair…very long blond hair, about seventy feet of it, rolling on the grass, getting tangled in her hair, enjoying the moment while a young man with brown hair in a white shirt, green vest, brown trousers, and black boots stood watch nearby with a blank expression on his face.
"Looks like she's having fun." Riku said with an amused chuckle before noticing that Nixe had vanished. He quickly looked around before hearing a whooping sound and saw Nixe rolling down the hill herself. Riku couldn't help but smirk and laugh.
"You haven't changed a bit, have you?" Riku laughed to himself, watching as Nixe rolled up next to the blond girl who seemed to regard Nixe with an excited smile.
"Oh! Hello!" the girl greeted as she quickly got free of her hair, the man nearby arching a curious eyebrow before heading towards them.
"Hi. Sorry, didn't mean to cut in. It's just…well it looked like fun, what you were doing. Thought I'd join in. Hope you don't mind. I'm Nixe by the way." Nixe greeted as the girl smiled and curtsied.
"Oh no problem at all. I'm Rapunzel." The girl replied as the man reached them and cleared his throat.
"Oh, and this is Flynn Rider." Rapunzel added as the man gave a half interested nod.
"Yeah, hi, uh blondie, you think we could be going now? If you want to see those lanterns so bad, we better be going or else we'll never make it." Flynn said as Nixe arched a curious eyebrow. Riku was watching from up the hill and was looking around for any sign of trouble when he noticed something nailed to the nearby tree, a wanted poster for a man named Flynn Rider and it looked suspiciously like the same Flynn with the girl except the nose was wrong. Riku quietly tore down the poster and stuck it in his sleeve before heading down the hill.
"Lanterns? What lanterns?" Nixe asked curiously.
"Oh every year on my Birthday there's all these strange lights that fill the sky. They're not stars but something different. Flynn says they're lanterns so he's taking me to see them." Rapunzel said but Flynn rolled his eyes.
"Blackmailed into taking her to see them is more like it." He mumbled before having a frying pan shoved in his face with a stern glare from Rapunzel.
"I will use this." She threatened as Riku finally approached the group.
"These lanterns sound interesting. Hey Riku, you mind if we detour and go see these lanterns too?" Nixe asked. Riku looked Flynn over suspiciously before looking at Nixe.
"It's your call. But I don't trust this guy." Riku said, motioning to Flynn who gave him an unamused expression.
"Feeling's mutual pal." Flynn replied.
"Oh, sorry, this is Riku. He's my…well he's kinda my travel buddy." Nixe said as Rapunzel curtsied.
"Well why don't we all go and see the lanterns together?" Rapunzel asked.
"I'm game." Nixe replied.
"And where she goes, I go." Riku added.
"I've got no choice in the matter." Flynn muttered. Rapunzel squealed with glee and quickly started gathering up her hair.
"Great! Let's go!" Rapunzel cheered, Nixe quickly moving to help.
"Uh, need a hand with those locks of yours?!" Nixe asked, leaving Riku and Flynn to glare at each other suspiciously.
"Okay, what's your angle here? What did you do to get this posted up on the nearest tree?" Riku asked, unfurling the wanted poster, causing Flynn to grimace.
"Can't they get the nose right?" Flynn grumbled.
"Answer the question." Riku ordered, rolling the poster back up and putting it in his sleeve.
"I…might've…been falsely accused of stealing a tiara that's worth a fortune. It supposedly belongs to some missing Princess and the kingdom is trying to get it back. I had nothing to do with it of course." Flynn replied, but Riku was unconvinced.
"She's hidden it from you and is blackmailing you with it to take her to see these lanterns." Riku said, motioning to Rapunzel. Flynn deflated almost instantly.
"Yeah. Something like that." He replied as Rapunzel and Nixe finally caught up, both giggling to themselves as Nixe had some of the hair kept up on top of her head.
"Hey Riku, check it! You think I look good as a blond?" Nixe asked as Riku smiled and chuckled slightly.
"Blond doesn't really suit you, Nix." Riku said, causing Nixe to cock her head to one side with a curious smile on her face.
"What did you just call me?" she asked.
"Nix. You don't like it?" Riku asked but she seemed to think about it.
"No it's not that. It's just…I haven't been called that for a very long time is all. Oh well, come on let's go see these lanterns." Nixe said as they started off up the hill and onto the road, unaware that a figure in a black coat like Riku's was watching from nearby. The figure quickly rushed into the woods. As they walked, they suddenly heard a strange growling sound.
"What was that?" Rapunzel asked as Riku pulled the hood up over his head.
"N-Nothing." He replied hesitantly.
"When was the last time you ate?" Nixe asked bluntly.
"Uh…why do you ask?" he asked back.
"I'm a little hungry myself, now that you mention it." Rapunzel said as Flynn ran a hand over his face with a sigh.
"Well, you like duck?" Flynn asked as Rapunzel gave him an excited grin.
"I love ducks!" she replied. Flynn immediately put on a mockingly excited face towards her.
"Yay! This way blondie." Flynn called, leading them down the road. Riku quietly reared back a fist as if he were about to punch him but Nixe gave him a thwarting glare causing him to smile and shrug innocently while pulling back his hood. Soon they reached an unassuming tavern with a sign hanging near it with a picture of a duck printed on it called "The Snuggly Duckling."
"See! Ducks!" Flynn said as they headed for the tavern. As they approached the door, Riku reached for the door handle only for another black gloved hand to reach for it instead. Both paused and flinched as they did, looking at each other. The other figure was wearing a black coat and gloves like Riku only with black heeled boots.
"Oh, sorry. You first." Riku said as the figure curtsied slightly.
"Thank you sir." The figure said with a voice that was clearly feminine and familiar to Riku who smirked slightly.
"Don't mention it." He said softly, watching the figure walk into the tavern. Flynn then elbowed past and stepped into the tavern…
"Garson! Your finest table!" Flynn called into the tavern, earning dark and grim looks from the shady patrons, the sight of which alarmed Rapunzel and Nixe. Flynn began to lead Rapunzel into the tavern, Rapunzel holding her frying pan in a defensive posture while Riku and Nixe stood outside in the doorway.
"Uh…so this is…charming." Nixe said sarcastically as Riku leaned over to her.
"You'll be fine. All of these guys combined are no match for a Keyblade Wielder. Just stick close to Rapunzel." Riku whispered as he pulled his hood up over his head.
"Where are you going?" Nixe asked as he started to walk into the tavern.
"To get some information. I suspect there's something going on here and it might help you with the Sublime situation." Riku said as Nixe gave a nod.
"Oh…okay, good luck." She said as Riku headed into the tavern, disappearing amongst the crowd while Nixe hurried and caught up to Rapunzel and Flynn. Riku however looked around and eventually saw the hooded figure from earlier sitting in the shadows in a corner booth. He quietly headed towards the figure, sitting down across from them.
"You're taking an awful risk being out here." Riku said as the figure placed something on the table in front of him.
"The information I need might be worth it, Riku." The figure said, looking up at Riku, revealing a familiar face: Namine. The object she placed on the table was her lucky charm.
"I've been doing what you asked me to do. What else do you need?" Riku asked.
"Information about people Nixe might know. Specifically, a girl named Prishe." Namine said as Riku gave a nod, glancing towards Nixe as she and Rapunzel tried to keep Flynn out of trouble and not succeeding very well.
"Prishe. Okay, I'll try to get what information I can. I don't know if she knows anything though. What about you?" Riku asked as Namine slid the charm towards him.
"Don't worry about me. I've already been here. Everything is taken care of. The Sisterhood will lose one of their allies here soon enough but you need to be careful. I know that one of the Sisters is here. Third, the Lady of Jealousy." Namine said as Riku nodded understandingly.
"Understood. Hopefully we won't run into her." Riku said, pocketing the charm.
…
Elsewhere in the world, Gothel stood tapping her foot impatiently in the woods as a Corridor of Darkness opened nearby, depositing a figure in the dress and clothes of the Sisterhood.
"What is it this time, Gothel?" Third asked as she pulled back the hood.
"I'm waiting for you to hold up your end of the bargain is what! That girl you sent earlier succeeded in keeping Rapunzel in the tower for a little while but now she's run off again! If she realizes what she is, I could lose everything." Gothel hissed.
"Calm down. We'll find her and bring her back. I am considered one of the best trackers amongst the Sisterhood. I need only ask my slave." Third said as she waved her hand across in front of her, conjuring an elegant round mirror to appear against a nearby tree.
"What is this?" Gothel asked but Third ignored her and crossed her arms over her chest as she scowled at the mirror.
"Slave in the magic mirror, come from the farthest space, through wind and darkness, I summon thee. Speak!" Third commanded, the sky suddenly turning black as a bolt of lightning flashed and a loud clap of thunder echoed. The mirror suddenly began to glow with a fire inside it.
"Let me see thy face!" Third commanded as the fire briefly engulfed the inside of the mirror before revealing a white mask-like visage inside.
"Great is thy power, majesty. But hold, a beautiful maid do I see. Hair long and gold, visions of lights her dreams do hold. In a tavern of shady fame, where a fowl bears its name." The Magic Mirror reported in its soft and hypnotic tone as Third smiled with satisfaction.
"The Snuggly Duckling. That's where she is now, Gothel. I'll go and retrieve her for you." Third said as Gothel put her hands on her hips.
"See that you do." Gothel said.
"Three companions, thy maid does travel. Only one will make thy desires unravel." The mirror said, catching Third's attention.
"What do you mean? Speak!" she commanded.
"Hair a chestnut brown, a heart of light and key of great renown. The prize for Seven Witches in their Palace, you seek her to satisfy your Sister's malice." The mirror said as Third's eyes widened.
"Nixe…she's here." Third said with a gasp of surprise.
"Who?" Gothel asked as Third smiled.
"Things have just taken an interesting turn, Gothel. Looks like we'll need to work together on this after all." Third said as she waved her hand across and dismissed the mirror which disappeared in a cloud of black smoke, the sky returning to normal. The two then turned and started down the road, unaware that they had been watched the entire time.
Watching them from behind a nearby tree was a fifteen year old girl, tall and slender in figure with maroon hair that was concealed by her cap. Her attire consisted of a red short sleeved shirt that exposed a very large portion of her midriff, a short yellow hoodie, a necklace around her neck with a puzzle piece-shaped pendant, and a low-cut green colored denim skirt with a brown pouch around her waist. She also wore a yellow bracelet on her left wrist accompanied with a ring on her pinkie finger, and knee-length brown medium heeled boots with yellow stripes on the sides. She had a stuffed black cat doll under her arms.
"Did you hear that, Mr. Mew? Nixe's here." The girl asked, holding the doll up to look it straight in its black button eyes.
"And the Sisterhood knows she's here too. What do we do Mr. Mew?" The girl asked the doll but the doll remained silent. She then reached into her back pocket and pulled out a smartphone, tucking the doll under her arm, and then typing out a message which read…
"3rd Sister in Lantern Kingdom! Possible Nixe sighting! Unconfirmed! Trying to verify! – Reaper 3"
The girl then pocketed her phone and looked at the doll again.
"Come on Mr. Mew. Let's go wait until the knight in shining armor arrives." The girl said to the doll before hurrying into the woods.
…
Back in the Snuggly Duckling, Nixe and Rapunzel where keeping close to Flynn who was trying his best not to anger some of the other patrons. Meanwhile Riku and Namine were finishing their secret meeting.
"So you've got things set up for Rapunzel to escape the Sisterhood's clutches. Too bad we can't contact Sora." Riku said but Namine smiled.
"Don't worry about that. If Sora arrives here and meets Rapunzel, she'll tell him everything he needs to know. I've made sure of that." Namine said as she started to stand up from the booth.
"Be careful out there." He said as Namine nodded, heading for one of the backrooms with Riku close behind.
"Don't worry about me. Just keep Nixe safe. If you can find any information about Prishe or the Sisterhood's past actions, you know how to contact me." Namine said as Riku reached into his coat, fingering the lucky charm and nodding to her.
"I know but be careful anyway." Riku replied as Namine stepped into the backroom. Riku peaked inside a second later just in time to see a Corridor of Darkness closing. Riku smiled and started to head towards Nixe and the others when he bumped into one of the patrons.
"Hey! Watch it! The patron grunted in annoyance.
"Just passing through." Riku replied before being grabbed by the collar and lifted up to the patron's eye level which was at least a foot or two higher than Riku's.
"I don't like little pretty boys like you. Think you're so much better than us with your fancy coat and such." The patron said, raising his other hand which was actually a metal hook. The other patrons started snickering and murmuring with dark smiles, a fight almost inevitable.
"Hey! HEY! Put him down!" they heard Nixe say. They turned to see Nixe standing with her arms crossed over her chest and glaring at them with a thwarting gaze.
"Oh we will, right after we've mussed his face up a little." The hook handed thug replied.
"I can handle this Nixe." Riku said, not taking his eyes off the thug.
"I know you can but so can I. But we're going to go see those lanterns and there's no point getting yourself messed up right now." Nixe said, Rapunzel slowly moving to stand next to her.
"And what's so special about seeing those lanterns?" the thug asked.
"Because it's been my dream to see them since I was a little girl! Please you have to let them go! Haven't you ever had a dream of your own?!" Rapunzel pleaded. All heads swiveled towards her, curiously. The hook handed thug proceeded to pin Riku to the wall by the hood of his robe with a dagger. Riku happened to glance to his left and noticed that Flynn was pinned to a post next to him.
"Hi." He mumbled as they watched the thug storming towards Nixe and Rapunzel, looming over the two with a stern glare. Nixe stood ready to act, Rapunzel looking unsure of what was going to happen. The thug's expression then softened to being lost in thought and wonder.
"I had a dream once." He said while absently raising an axe and then throwing it towards a minstrel chained to a stool at a post near Riku and Flynn, missing him by inches. This was apparently his cue to start playing his concertina. (Music Cue: I've Got a Dream – Tangled) Riku and Flynn both looked blankly at the thug as he started to sing…
"I'm malicious, mean and scary,
my sneer could curdle dairy,
and violence-wise, my hands are not the cleanest."
He sang, motioning to a chalk crime scene outline of a body on the floor with a sword stabbed through the chest as he sang, ambling towards the stage where a feeble old grand piano was set up…
"But despite my evil look,
and my temper, and my hook,
I've always yearned to be a concert pianist!"
The thug then started playing the piano with surprisingly good skill as Nixe and Rapunzel gathered near him as he sang…
"Can't cha see me on the stage performin' Mozart?
Tickling the ivories 'til they're green?
Yep, I'd rather be called deadly,
for my killer show-tune medley!
Thank you!
'Cause way down deep inside,
I've got a dream!"
The rest of the thugs then chimed in singing…
"He's got a dream!
He's got a dream!"
Rapunzel and Nixe both seemed to be getting into the spirit, smiling as he sang…
"See, I ain't as cruel and vicious as I seem!
Though I do like breaking femurs,
you can count me with the dreamers!
Like everybody else,
I've got a dream!"
None of them noticed as, outside the tavern, Third and Gothel started to approach on the road outside. Back inside, Nixe and Rapunzel suddenly found a particularly unattractive thug sitting between them singing…
"I've got scars and lumps and bruises,
plus something here that oozes,
and let's not even mention my complexion!
But despite my extra toes,
and my goiter, and my nose,
I really want to make a love connection!"
Rapunzel and Nixe were seemingly moved by his confession and smiled at him caringly as he sang…
"Can't you see me with a special little lady,
rowin' in a rowboat down the stream?
Though I'm one disgusting blighter,
I'm a lover, not a fighter,
'Cause way down deep inside,
I've got a dream!
I've got a dream!"
Then the big nosed thug started to sing with the rest of the thugs…
"He's got a dream!
"I've got a dream!"
"He's got a dream!"
Big Nose took over again as he sang…
"And I know one day romance will reign supreme!
Though my face leaves people screaming,
there's a child behind it, dreaming!
Like everybody else,
I've got a dream!"
Then random thugs started to sing out their own dreams as Nixe and Rapunzel listened approvingly, Riku and Flynn exchanging blank stares as they listened to the thugs sing…
"Tor would like to quit and be a florist!"
"Gunther does interior design!"
"Ulf is into mime!"
"Attila's cupcakes are sublime!"
"Bruiser knits!
Killer sews!
Fang does little puppet shows!
And Vladimir collects ceramic unicorns!"
"Hey pretty boy!" Hook Hand beckoned, earning Riku's attention.
"Who me?" he asked.
"Yeah. What's your dream?" Hook Hand asked.
"Oh no-no-no. I don't sing." Riku stated matter-of-factly only to find a plethora of swords and even Nixe's Keyblade and Rapunzel's frying pan shoved in his face. In a flash he was down off the wall and dancing frantically on the bar top singing…
"I have dreams, like you, no, really!
Just much less touchy-feely!
They mainly happen somewhere warm and sunny!
On an island I call home,
tanned and rested and alone,
but hounded by some kid who thinks he's funny."
Riku sang, referring to Sora, but earned groans and boos from the thugs before Nixe leapt onto a table singing with the thugs replying…
(Nixe) "I've got a dream!"
(Thugs) "She's got a dream!"
(Nixe) "I've got a dream!"
(Thugs) "She's got a dream!"
They were unaware that Third and Gothel were glaring inside, spotting Nixe and Rapunzel as Nixe sang…
"I just want to see the worlds out where they gleam!
And with every passing hour,
I'm so glad I left mom's power!
Like all you lovely folks,
I've got a dream!"
Third and Gothel then slinked away from the window, dark expressions on them both as Nixe, Rapunzel, and the thugs sang out…
"She's got a dream!
He's got a dream!
They've got a dream!
We've got a dream!
So our differences ain't really that extreme!
We're one big team!
Call us brutal, sick, sadistic,
and grotesquely optimistic!
'Cause way down deep inside we've got a dream!"
The thugs, Rapunzel, a reluctant Flynn, Nixe, and even Riku then joined in singing…
(Hook Thug) "I've got a dream!"
(Big Nose) "I've got a dream!"
(Flynn) "I've got a dream!"
(Riku) "I've got a dream!"
(Rapunzel) "I've got a dream!"
(Nixe) "I've got a dream!"
Then they all sang out one final…
"Yes way down deep inside, I've got a dre-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-eam!
YEAH!"
The entire tavern then burst out into cheers and applause, Rapunzel using her hair as a lasso to pull out the dagger holding Flynn to the wall, the four gathering near the bar counter just as one of the thugs burst in through the front door.
"Royal Guards!" the thug yelled, causing the color to drain from Flynn's face.
"That's our cue to leave!" Flynn yelped, quickly smacking a beer tap lever with a duck on the top, causing a secret panel in the floor behind the bar to tilt down, leading into a tunnel.
"Hurry, let's get out of here, Nixe." Riku said as the four leapt into the tunnel, hurrying away as the trapdoor closed behind them. In the bar, the thugs were waiting for the guards to arrive but none did.
"What are you talking about?" Hook Hand asked but the thug just chuckled and tossed a coin bag up and down in his hand slightly.
"Ah some lady paid me to come in and shout that the guards were coming. Easiest coin I've made in years." The thug replied.
…
Down in the tunnel, Rapunzel, Flynn, Nixe, and Riku were running through to the other side.
"So…you still want to see the worlds do you?" Riku asked Nixe who rolled her eyes.
"Yes and before you say anything, I meant what I said about helping Sublime. Seeing the worlds is more of a pleasant bonus." She replied as Riku nodded.
"Alright fair enough." He replied.
"The exit's just up ahead. Come on!" Flynn called as he and Rapunzel kept ahead of them. Nixe's eyes suddenly widened and she slid to a halt.
"Wait! Stop!" she exclaimed, causing everyone to stop and turn towards her.
"Why what's the matter?" Rapunzel asked. Nixe's expression was one of worry and hesitance.
"I can't explain it but I've got a bad feeling about this. My instincts are telling me that if we keep going this way, we're going to run into something bad. I'm rarely wrong about these things." Nixe said as Flynn and Riku arched curious eyebrows.
"What do you mean? You sure it's not indigestion or something?" Riku asked as Nixe shook her head.
"Positive. It's hard to explain but sometimes I get these…feelings where I know there's something bad about to happen." Nixe said but Flynn wasn't convinced.
"Well if we stay here then we'll run into the guards and that means no lanterns." Flynn said as Riku raised his hands.
"Look, she's not saying we need to stop but to proceed with caution. If we run into any trouble, let Nixe and I take care of it." Riku said.
"Okay then let's go." Rapunzel said as they continued on their way, soon exiting onto a cliff overlooking an abandoned quarry, a still functioning wooden aqueduct being the only thing still bridging the quarry. One whole wall was a large wooden dam.
"Well this is a problem." Flynn commented but Rapunzel was already at work, hooking her hair around a large beam that was sticking out of the aqueduct, the hair making a perfect rope to slide down to the ground on.
"Here we go, who's first?" Rapunzel asked.
"Let Riku and I go first. That uneasy feeling still hasn't eased off. Wait here until you get the signal." Nixe said as she leapt onto Rapunzel's hair, sliding down while Riku leapt off the edge of the cliff, sliding down along the sloped ground, both reaching the ground safely and looking around.
"So what do you think, Nix? Any trouble to be had?" Riku asked.
"Not sure yet. I feel like we're not alone out here." Nixe said, her Keyblade summoned in her hand while Riku drew his sword.
"Well that much, I hope, would be obvious, little girl." A familiar voice said from nearby. Riku and Nixe both spun around to see Third standing in the shadows of the aqueduct, her hands on her hips with a smirk across her face. Nixe recognized her instantly.
"Wait…I know you don't I? You were in Sublime with those other women." Nixe said as Third chuckled.
"Right you are, Nixe. I'm so glad to know you heeded our advice and left the safety and security of Sublime City. You are a good girl to do as you're told." Third said, confusing Nixe.
"Huh? What are you-…" she said but soon found Riku stepping in front of her.
"Don't you see, Nixe? She's a member of the Sisterhood of Seven." Riku said as Nixe's eyes widened in horrid realization.
"Wait, if that's true, then that means…that means they…and I was…oh man!" Nixe stammered as Third laughed in amusement.
"You're so gullible. I don't envy you your naivety. Oh and don't even bother trying to head through to the end of this path. I've got a friend waiting for your little friends on the other end. Now be a good girl and come with me. We've been itching to have you join us for a long time. We've been looking for you ever since you left Sublime." Third said but Nixe stood defiant, dropping into her fighting stance.
"What a coincidence, because I've been looking for you." Riku said as Third arched a curious eyebrow.
"Oh?" she asked.
"You're Third, the Lady of Jealousy. More importantly, I know who you truly are." Riku said, earning a curious look from both Nixe and Third.
"What are you talking about?" Third asked.
"What are you talking about, Riku?" Nixe asked as Riku continued to glare at Third.
"Seven Nobodies, Seven Sisters, Seven Witches, Seven Nobodies with emotions and missing their memories. Funny how the coincidences keep piling up. Where exactly did the lot of you come up with the name for the Sisterhood of Seven?" Riku asked as Third scoffed and crossed her arms over her chest.
"Tsh. I didn't come up with it. That would've been First's doing. She came up with the name years ago." Third said.
"Around the time she learned of the Seven Princesses of Heart?" Riku asked as Third looked at him curiously.
"The what? The Seven Princesses of Heart? What do they have to do with us?" Third asked but Nixe was beginning to shake a little.
"W-Wait a minute, Riku, are you implying that they're what I think you're implying they are?" Nixe asked as Riku's gaze narrowed at Third.
"They are indeed. The facts speak for themselves. Recently, Masters Sora and Aqua came to these worlds in search of someone, a girl named Namine, who is the Nobody of a Princess of Heart. Namine is a witch bestowed with the power to manipulate the memories of others however she sees fit. She had rejoined her Other, the Princess of Heart, only to be abducted by the Sisterhood, forced from her Other and brought to these worlds on the orders of six more Nobody witches with similar powers over people's hearts. Seven Princesses, Seven Sisters. I think the answer is obvious." Riku said before pointing straight at Third who was glaring at him angrily.
"You, Third, the Lady of Jealousy, along with the rest of your Sisters, are the Nobodies of the Princesses of Heart!" Riku yelled accusingly but Third's scowl turned into a smirk.
"A clever explanation but rather flawed. You see, for a Nobody to be born, that means their Other would have to have first lost their hearts. So you see, it's impossible for that to be true." Third said but Riku smirked.
"I beg to differ! I know from personal experience that all seven of the Princesses of Heart have lost their hearts! All seven of them a little over a year ago! They got them back but the details, I can't go into, but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I am correct! Don't believe me? Ask Namine! She was there!" Riku said as Third put her hands on her hips, a smirk on her face.
"I suppose I should give you credit. You're smarter than I initially gave you credit for. But that information does you little good. So what do you intend to do with it? It doesn't really make any difference if I know who my Other is or not. So what good is it to you?" Third asked.
"The very fact that I know that information is enough. I know what you are and knowing that, I must do all in my power to complete my mission." Riku said, earning a curious look from Nixe.
"Mission? What mission?" she asked as Riku reached for the zipper on his coat, unzipping it.
"I didn't mean to withhold this information from you Nixe. Part of my mission is to protect you from the Sisterhood at any cost. The other part is if I'm ever to encounter a member of the Sisterhood, I'm to destroy them with extreme prejudice!" Riku said before throwing off his coat, revealing the skintight black bodysuit of his Dark Form underneath, a heartless insignia emblazoned across the chest. Third arched a curious eyebrow and smirked.
"Destroy me?! You?! Alright I'll play your game!" Third laughed as she summoned a serrated dagger. Riku and Nixe both stood ready to fight against the Lady of Jealousy while Rapunzel and Flynn watched from the cliff above.
End Chapter 29
The song above was a slightly reworked version of "I've Got a Dream" from Disney's Tangled.
That's right folks, the Sisterhood of Seven are the Nobodies of the Princesses of Heart. I'm sure some of you put the two together fairly quickly before now. So now my question to you is "which Sister goes with which Princess?" Namine with Kairi is given to you but what about First through Sixth? Can you figure them out? The answers will be revealed in a future chapter.
You may also be calling fowl on one other thing: They don't look or sound like their Others. Correction: They physically look similar to their others barring voice and hair color/style. Case and point, Namine is easily distinguished between Kairi because of her blond hair which is kept slightly differently and different voice. Otherwise they are identical. In fact they have different voice actresses, Hayden Panettiere for Kairi and Brittany Snow (KH2)/Meaghan Martin (All other appearances) for Namine. It's just hard to describe these facial features in text and descriptions are my weak point when it comes to writing.
(Side note: In regards to which actress would be voicing Namine in the RKH Saga, Brittany Snow or Meaghan Martin, take your pick. Makes no difference to me. I'm keeping Alison Stoner as the voice of Xion though.)
