A/N (to make sure everyone gets it :) ): In each chapter Haruhi meets another host on the balcony (for example: she meets Tamaki first and the next chapter it's Kyoya but it's like the previous chapter never happened) so there is no real pairing and if you wish to skip a host or you're really set on only one pairing you can skip all other chapters since they will be titled with the hosts' names: first will be Tamaki, then Kyoya, the twins, Takashi, Mitsukuni and Arata for last.

It was Kyo-niichan who emerged from the shadows.

"Haruhi, shouldn't you be inside?" he asked and pushed up his spectacles.

I shrugged. "I was in need for some fresh air." I explained. "What about you?"

He gave a small smile. "Tamaki was getting too annoying."

I snickered. "I see."

Kyo-niichan stepped to my side and in silence we gazed at the star.

"Your plan was truly brilliant." He said after a while.

"I'm sorry?" I asked confused.

"The way you busted Akito." Kyo-niichan explained. "It was brilliant."

"Thank you." I beamed at him.

He leant with his back against the balcony. "What will you be doing now?"

"I guess I'll try and become a queen."

"I'm sure you'll be a wonderful queen." He said.

I smiled at him. "Thanks, you wouldn't possibly be interested in becoming one of my advisors, would you?"

He raised an eyebrow.

I grinned. "With your help there won't be any problem keeping the public treasury full."

Kyo-niichan chuckled. "I'll think about it."

Suddenly I realized something. "Kyo-nii, now everyone knows I'm a girl, I won't be able to work at the host club any longer to pay off my debt."

His face got a thoughtful look. "Actually, I don't think the customers would mind you being a girl, but…" he fell silent, looking at the ground.

"But?" I repeated.

He met my eyes again. "You paid off your debt already, you don't need to come back working again"

My eyebrows rose in surprise. Since when did that happen?

It became silent again until an idea formed in my head. "Kyo-nii, how much does your tie costs?"

For a moment a puzzled look crossed his face before he understood my intention. "Enough to have you work as a host for a couple of weeks."

I grinned, reached out and took off his tie, my fingers grazing his neck. I held the tie in my hand and waited until some wind came up and released it from my grip, it flew several feet away until it disappeared out of sight. I met Kyo-niichan's eyes. "Oops. Sorry." I said unapologetic.

He chuckled. "Just when I thought I finally got rid of you."

"I'm not going to let go of you any time soon, so better not hope for that." I joked.

Something I couldn't name flickered in Kyo-nii's eyes. "Haruhi…" His voice was a soft whisper, he pushed his glasses up and smiled smugly. "If you say things like that, I can't help but think you like me."

I felt a faint blush raise to my cheeks. "Wha…?"

His hand reached out to caress my reddened cheeks. "Am I mistaken then?"

I was absolutely speechless now.

Kyo-niichan chuckled again. "If you're not going to deny, I'll take it that you do like me."

I opened my mouth to answer, not sure whether to protest or not but before the syllables even left my lips, he locked them away.
