Infinity and Beyond
-Chapter 3-
Alexandra, Part Two
I can't stop crying as Vlad takes me to a black car. The driver's side window rolls down and my almond-shaped dark brown eyes see Ari Tasarov. "No, please..." I cry louder. "I don't want to go with him, I want my mommy!"
"Well, unfortunately, your mommy isn't the highest bidder." Vlad says scarily before opening the trunk door and putting me inside.
I squeak nervously as he shuts the trunk door. Then he has a short conversation with Ari in Russian before Ari drives away with me in the trunk...

"My, my..." Ari sighs as he crouches down in front of me after he let me out of the cage and I'm sitting on a sofa. "Are you ever going to stop crying?"
"I want my mommy!" I only cry more at his words.
"That can be arranged." He says with a crooked smile. "If both you and Nikita do what I say. Though it's become rather obvious to me that neither you nor your mother like me very much."
I sniffle and rub my eyes as I don't say anything and continue crying. Ari sighs again before he does something really scary. He picks me up, making me cry harder.
"Now, now, there's nothing to be afraid of." He says softly as to my surprise, his hand rubs my back gently. "I have no intention of harming you."
I still don't stop crying as he leads me into another room. "You know, you remind me of when my son was your age." He says as he grabs a thick photo album from a large shelf. Then, he sits down on the empty bed and puts me on his lap.
"But I'm a girl!" My words don't sound clear as I'm still crying.
"Yes, and a very weepy one at that." He sounds like he might laugh, making me cry louder again. Mommy would never laugh at me when I'm crying...
"Oy, Oy..." He sighs again. "What did I do wrong now?" He says before quickly opening up the photo album. "I want to show you some pictures." He sounds like he's trying to be nice. "I promise you'll like them."
I sniffle as his words makes me quiet down a little. "This is my son when he was a newborn baby." He tells me as I bite down on my red lips silently. "His name is Stefan."
I don't know why, but Ari doesn't seem so scary right now. "He's so tiny..." I tilt my head a little.
"There was a time when you were that small too." Ari smiles.
"But I don't remember being that small." My oval-shaped face frowns.
"No one does." He tells me. "When we're that small, we don't have memories."
"So, you were that small too?" I ask with a little smile as I forget about being nervous.
"A long time ago." He nods. "Yes."
"Can I be with mommy again?" My eyes tear up sadly again.
"I guarantee it." He smiles as he whispers into my ear. Then, he lifts his head up right again. "But until then, I need you to be a good little girl and listen to me. Can you do that?"
"If I be good, you'll take me back to mommy, right?" I ask hopefully.
"Yes." He nods.
"Okay." I murmur quietly, making him smile a little...

Vision
Mommy was pushing a cart full of towels. She turned as a big, bald man opened a door for her. She pushed the cart in and didn't stop until she reached a group of naked men wrapped in towels.
"Gentlemen, don't get up, please." Mommy told them before lifting up a stack of towels. There was a big black thing under the towels, it had some letters on it. "This is a claymore mine, set one hundred steel balls explode in one direction, your's. Nobody calls for help, nobody dies."
Mommy wrapped a black wire round and round a small, black rectangular thing before continuing. "Now, I heard that Vladimir Ivanov lives around here." She said. "You're going to tell me where his new place of business is, or I let go."
There was a moment of silence before mommy spoke up. "My fingers get sweaty, they can slide off this trigger." She warned them scarily. "Vladimir took my daughter and my friend, so I suggest you start talking real soon. Because I don't plan on being patient right now."
"Hell with it." A fat man with gray hair said. "I'm not sweating my ass off for that man. Vladimir works in the basement of a vault, first storage building."
"I'm gonna tie this to the door now." Mommy said as she pulled the wire out longer and longer as she backed up towards the door. "I wouldn't call for help."
But just then, Michael kicked the door open. I almost smile, Michael was there too. 'He wants to rescue you and Alex.'
Mommy quickly turned around and the two of them fought for a little while until mommy noticed that it's Michael. "Michael?!" Mommy said in surprise.
"You two know each other?" The bald man asked.
"Kill them!" The gray-haired man yelled before Nikita and Michael fought off other men together. I wrinkle my straight nose. I don't like that gray-haired man, he was mean to mommy and Michael...
It was a long fight and when they finally put the three men they were fighting to sleep, the men in towels started chasing after them as they ran out of the room...
End Vision
My red lips smile a little. Both mommy and Michael are looking for me...
My almond-shaped dark brown eyes quickly look up when Ari walks into the room. He crouches down in front of me before speaking up quietly.
"Hide under the bed until I tell you it's safe to come out." He tells me as he helps me crawl under the big bed. "And don't make a sound."
"Why?" I whisper nervously.
"I've a guest coming." Ari answers softly. "And I can't let him see you."
Just then, the doorbell rings. Ari silently puts a finger over his mouth, telling me to be as silent as I can before he goes to answer the door.
I shrink back more as I hear another man talking in Russian. 'Sergei Semak: the man who ordered the deaths of Alex's family.' I feel goosebumps pop up my olive skin. He must be a very bad man...
'Did you find the container?' Computer mama tells me what Sergei asks.
'Unfortunately, someone beat us to the punch.' Ari answers.
'What? Who?'
'I'm working on finding that out. But if I've to guess, I would say Division.'
'Well then, find her!' Sergei sounds angry.
'I'm working on it.' Ari tells him.
'Just call me as soon as you find her.' Sergei sighs impatiently before I hear the sound of a door opening and closing.
There's a few moments of silence before Ari walks back into the room. "You can come out from under there." He tells me before I crawl out from under the bed. My head tilts up a little too high and bumps onto the bottom of the bed.
"Ouchie..." I whimper tearfully as I rub my head. "I bumped my head..."
"I noticed." He nods.
"It hurts..." I start crying a little.
"I'll go get you some ice." He says before walking out of the room. I want mommy to hug me... I cry more.
Ari comes back in the room with a small ice pack. "Honestly, I only left the room two minutes ago." He complains as he crouches down beside me and holds the ice pack to my head. "Do you always cry this much?"
But his words only makes me cry harder. "I want my mommy!" I cry very loudly. "I miss her a lot! I don't want to be away from her!"
"I'll make arrangements as soon as I can." Ari sighs, sounding like he wants to give up. "So stop crying..."

Vision
Mommy and Michael ran beside a closed garage door before stopping and panting tiredly. "We made it." Mommy panted gladly before she and Michael quickly raise their handguns at each other. "Or not..."
"You should drop that." Michael told her. "I happen to have a team close by."
"Well, that's great." Mommy said. "We could've used them back there." Then, she raised a hand toward him. "Listen, why don't we both drop our weapons..."
"I can hear you just fine." Michael said, making mommy's hand move back to her gun.
"I can't believe you actually let Vlad get his hands on Infinity!" He continued angrily. "And here I actually thought you would keep her safe, because... Oh I don't know... She's your daughter?!"
"First of all, I didn't let Vlad do anything!" Mommy didn't sound happy. "And he is not going to get away with kidnapping my child!"
Just then, there was a loud gunshot, making both mommy and Michael duck. "What the..." Mommy started.
"I'm here to inform you that you're over 600 miles too late." Wendy's voice interrupted mommy with a very angry growl. "You're one sick, poor excuse of a mother!"
"Wendy?" Michael sounded surprised before continuing with a frown. "What are you doing here? And what are you talking about? Vlad is close by..."
"Yes, well, thanks to irresponsible mama over here, poor, sweet Infinity just got sold to Ari Tasarov." Wendy looked at mommy coldly.
Mommy's eyes widened and grew tearful as for a little while, she looked as if she can't find her words. "What?" She finally breathed out as tears started rolling down her face. I've never heard mommy sound this scared before.
The gun in her hands fell to the ground almost as if her hands couldn't hold them anymore. She slowly crouched down onto the ground before she cried harder and made a small chocking sound. 'Sobbing.' Computer mama tells me the word.
"And since you're clearly incapable of keeping her safe, you better prepare yourself because I'm going to trade you for her." Wendy was really mean to mommy. It makes me really sad as I cry a little.
At Wendy's words, Jason and another man I remember as Noah, who's also Wendy's friend, grabbed mommy from behind. "Wendy, I know you're angry, but..." Michael started.
"But what, Michael?" Wendy interrupted him impatiently. "You said so yourself, this is her fault." Wendy looked at mommy in a way that computer mama calls a "glare" as Jason and Noah dragged mommy away.
Mommy didn't fight back at all as her eyes looked as if they're looking at something far away and her tears couldn't stop falling...

Author's note: Hey guys, as you can obviously tell, this chapter is mostly off-canon and some events of the next two episodes in the next four chapters are going to be reversed from canon order. Anyways, I know that I made Ari seem a little nicer than usual, but I imagine that since he has a kid of his own, if there's anyone who he might have a soft spot for, it's probably Infinity. As always, reviews motivate me to write and update, so please review!
