Mistu-niichan smiled brightly "Haru-chan!" He jumped on the balcony's balustrade, swaying his legs.
"Are you not enjoying the party?" I asked as I sat next to him.
"Of course I'm enjoying it!" he exclaimed. "There are sooo many sweets!" he said. "I'm playing hide-n-seek with Takashi so I'm hiding here." He giggled. "How about you?"
"I needed some fresh air and my feet were hurting." I glared at the guilty high heels.
"Then take them off!" Mitsu-niichan said.
I quickly cast a look around me to see whether there were people or not who could spot us and when I was certain no one would notice us, I happily took them off. I breathed a sigh of relief and Mitsu-niichan chuckled.
"I'm so glad everything ended well." He said.
"So am I." I muttered.
He looked me in the eye and his serious look startled me. "You really worried me, Haru-chan."
I played with the end of my sleeve. "I'm sorry." He smiled gently.
Cautiously I looked at him. "Am I forgiven?"
He chuckled. "I could never stay mad at you for long, Haru-chan." His spread his arm, demanding for a hug. Softly laughing I complied. He squeezed me with a strength you wouldn't match with his petite size. He backed away a bit so he could look and smile at me. "Are you as sweet as you look?" he asked mischievously .
"What?" I frowned confused.
His grin grew bigger. "Time to find out then." He said and before I knew it he leaned closer, with the gleeful expression he always wore when eating one of his favorite sweets.
