It's no big deal. Just date. No. Calling it date would mean that I have some physical attraction to him. I should call it something more appropriate... I've got nothing. Ah! It's just two people going out to dinner together for a night as friends. Nothing more. Friends. Who am I kidding? I'm about to go on a stupid date with Leo Valdez. That Jason and his idiotic girlfriend decided to set up. I've only ever meet him once. Once. And I can not say it was a very warm meeting.

I heard a knock at the door. He is an hour early. We agreed to leave at six thirty. Not five thirty. I haven't even taken my shower. Does he not own a watch or is his memory that bad? I walked down stairs and flung the door open. Instead of Leo, as I expected, it was Piper.

" Piper. What are you doing here?" I asked fairly rudely to be honest.

She rolled her eyes. " I'm here to help you get ready for your date with Leo. Jason's orders not mine."

She pushed me aside and walked in. Uninvited which I did not find very welcoming nor did it make me like her any more then before.

" I don't need help getting ready. And this is not a date. We're just going out to dinner and that's it. Nothing more and nothing less."

" Reyna, that's what most people consider a date." Piper smirked.

She suddenly made a strange squealing sound as my dogs came running in.

" What are those?" She asked.

I snickered. " It's called dogs. This is Aurum and Argumentum. Or gold and silver if you prefer. They answer by both but mainly their original names. Their harmless unless you get them upset. Or me upset."

As if on cue they growled slightly towards Piper.

" Easy boys."

" Interesting names. How about we just get started on getting you ready. One of my roommates told me to give you this for your hair and to paint your nails this color."

She held up a bottle of shampoo that said it was perfect for curly hair and a bottle of bright orange nail polish.

" Three things. One my nails are already painted. Two even if they weren't I would never put that god forsaken color on my nails. It's dinner. Not hunting. Thirdly I have naturally straight hair. Therefore this would do nothing for my hair. It would most likely destroy it. Thank you for your help Piper but I think I can get ready by myself. Feel free to hang out around here until they get here." I said.

I walked upstairs and took my shower. I only had half an hour until he would get here. I quickly dried my hair and got dressed. I wasn't going to bother with anything fancy. I put my hair in a simple braid down my back. I was going to wear a nice pair of black skinny jeans and a purple shirt with sheer gold designs on it. Once I was finally done I only had 20 minutes. Just enough time to relax.

I walked down stairs to see Piper had left but put a few things on the kitchen counter.

Sorry I couldn't help much but at least do this much for me! Jason told me your size.

PS. These will make you about equal height to Leo. Have fun tonight!

On the counter was pair of simple black strapy heels. Hell no. I will stick with what I got. Also on the counter was some makeup and the god ugly bottle of orange nail polish.

Before I could get rid of all this crap there was another knock on the door. It had to be Leo this time. But again I was wrong. It was Piper. Again.

" What?" I asked.

" I wanted to make sure you were wearing the heels." She said as she walked past me.

I followed her into the kitchen. " If you think there is any way in hell I am going to wear those heels you have another thing coming. Now please leave before he gets here."

" Not until you put the heels on." Damn this girl was stubborn.

" How about I send the dogs on you. That will scare you good. Now leave please."

She sighed and gave up. " Fine. But I expect every little detail tomorrow. Have fun on your date!" Piper shouted before she closed the door behind her. I quickly realized I only had fifteen minutes maybe before he would be here. I guess the heels wouldn't kill. I put them on and grabbed my coat. I heard a knock not less then a second after I grabbed my coat.

" PIPER! I WILL LET MY DOGS USE YOU AS A PLAY TOY IF YOU STOP-"" I stopped short as I flung the door open to see, not Piper, but Leo.

" If I stop what? Being hot?" Leo asked.

I rolled my eyes. " I thought it was Piper again. Please come in. I'm almost ready." I moved aside for him to walk in.

" I wasn't expecting you for another fifteen minutes. I still have to feed my dogs. And get my phone." I said.

The dogs came running in and ran past me to Leo. He held out his hand. Normally they would have growled at anyone they didn't already know but they just sniffed it.

Then Aurum jumped on Leo pushing him on the couch. His tail was wagging a mile a minute. Leo was laughing as Arguementum joined him, crushing him in the process.

" Quite the attack dogs you've got her Reyna."

I snickered. " They normally aren't this friendly. Especially to men." I said. I ran into the kitchen and put food in their bowls. But even the sound of food didn't get them to come off Leo. In fact they had settled quite comfortably on him.

" I'm sorry. Normally they are about as welcoming as me. Which isn't much."

He laughed." Well I guess they must like me. I mean what isn't there to like about me?" He smirked.

" I'll find something eventually, don't worry." I said. " Now can we get going or shall I just leave you to enjoy my dogs?"

" You can get going. I'll stay here with them. And don't forget to tell me every single little dirty detail when you get back. Promise?"

" Aurum! Arguementum! Down now!" I shouted at them. They very quickly jumped off Leo. I smirked at him. "Ready to go now?" I asked.

" You're no fun." He ran to the door and opened it for me. He was dressed as simple as me. Just a pair of jeans and a niceish shirt.

" After you my queen." He said slightly bowing. I laughed. I followed the joke a bit and walked out of the door with my head held a bit higher than usual. He closed the door and did the similar routine to open the car door for me.

" So where are we going?" I asked. He didn't answer until we had parked in a parking garage. Before I could open the door he ran to the other side and opened it for me.

" My queen." He said again.

" Why do you keep calling me Queen?" I asked as I got out.

" Reyna means queen in Spanish. Duh." He said. " And Leo means nothing in Spanish."

" Well then, Nothing where are we going?" I asked.

Leo smiled. " So the evil queen does have a sense of humor. We are just going to walk around. What better way to know a person.

This is where we made a big mistake. We were at the top of the garage and thought it would be best to take the elevator. And with our luck joined the elevator broke down. I began banging on the stupid door until there was a dent.

" Relax. It will be fixed soon." Leo said.

I was getting nervous. I don't enjoy tight spaces for reasons I never care to explain. The elevator was only big enough for two people. I'm not claustrophobic but that doesn't mean I like tight spaces any less.

" Well this really sucks. Considering I had nothing really planned out. But at least we get some alone time." Leo said cheerfully.

" Now is not the time for idiotic jokes Leo." I hissed.

He held his hands up in surrender. " Okay. I should have not better, your majesty. Or do you go by your highness?"

I glared at him but he just simply smiled. " Do you have any cell phone reception. I have none."

" Hey if you don't have any than mine probably isn't the greatest either."

" Aren't you a mechanic of some sorts? Couldn't you fix this so we can get out of this stupid elevator cart. We should have taken the stairs. Then we could have avoided such a disaster." I exclaimed.

He chuckled silently. " I work at an auto garage. And the problem is most likely external. I wouldn't be able to fix it even if I wanted to."

" Just my damn luck. I get stuck in an damn elevator with a damn car mechanic who can't even fix the damn elevator. And they don't even have a damn phone to call for some damn help!"

He began to laugh more loudly.

" What is so damn funny Valdez?"

Leo managed to calm down for a second to spit out. " When you get angry you say damn a lot."

I was shocked. I already knew I cussed a lot when I was upset but I didn't think I said a certin cuss word more then most.

" And your eyes get really big and serious looking too."

Alright that was a bit rude I guess. " Well when you're being rude you look stupid!" I said. Alright terrible come back yes but what else could I say?

" Really? I look stupid? That's the best comeback you can think of. I look stupid? I thought a smart person like you would be better then that. But that again with beauty comes little brains."

" I'm going to smack you."

" No you're not." He smiled.

" And why wouldn't I?"

Leo shrugged. " Simple. Because I complimented you of course. You don't smack a person for complimenting you."

" Calling me stupid was a compliment? In what century? Correction in what universe?"

" I called you pretty. The brains part was just a joke." He clarified.

That's a very odd way to compliment some one. Especially when the said person isn't a very happy person in the first place but it's so sweet to. Yes I have a part of the brain that can be a bit feminine but it rarely ever speaks out of turn. Am I argueing with myself? This boy has already made me insane.

" Well then you should have just called me pretty rather then insulting me and complimenting me. It makes it impossible to tell as to which are insinuating."

" That's a lot of big words Reyna. Please spell and define the word insinuating."

I smiled. " It basically means implying and it is spelled I-N-S-I-N-U-A-T-I-N-G."

" Well played Roman. Well played."

" Roman?" I asked.

" Well yeah. You seem all strict and stuff and I thought maybe a bit Roman. So you're a Roman. Roman."

I rolled my eyes." Yes quite fitting Greek."

He acted offended. " Greek? Really?"

I laughed. " Yes Greek. You're so uncaring that it just seems to fit you."

" Okay then...Rey-Rey."

I stopped laughing. " Don't you ever call me Rey-Rey. Ever again."

" Why Rey-Rey?"

I glared at him. Before I could respond the elevator jerked all the sudden and started going back down."

Once the elevator opened I practically ran out of there ignoring his calls. I quickly grabbed the first taxi I could. I told him my address and he began driving.

He was going the wrong way though. " Excuse me. You're going the wrong way." I said. He pulled over and before I could react the car doors open. I was hit on the head with something hard and a black bag was pulled over my head. I couldn't see a thing. I began screaming for help when I was hit again and blacked out.

A/N And that my little pretties shall be it for this chapter. I shall post the sequel in the next installment of Leyna. And yes people although it will most likely never happen in the books I shall forever be a shipper of them. And I will have a Caleo installment now since I need to get with the ship now or else it will have sailed away without me on it. I really need a life outside of being a fangirl don't I?
