In Sublime Manor, the mood was one of stunned shock. Si'Lea had been forced to watch as her beloved Apprentice literally had her heart stolen by the First Sister and the Sisterhood of Seven. Nixe's body was lying on the ground, slowly fading into Darkness, Si'Lea was still trapped in place, Riku was lying on his side, struggling to crawl towards Nixe's body, Namine quickly climbing to her feet and Sora and Aqua were stood stunned. The stun wore off as Aqua hurried to Si'Lea, Sora rushing to Nixe's side.

"Si'Lea! What happened?!" Aqua asked as she stabbed her Keyblade into the black sphere around Si'Lea's hands.

"First finally did it! She took Nixe's heart!" Si'Lea exclaimed, the sphere finally shattering, allowing her to summon her Keyblade, Aqua helping her escape the sand pit which reverted back into the solid floor the moment she was free. Sora was knelt next to the fading Nixe.

"Nixe! Nixe come on! Speak to us!" Sora said, holding her up but her face was frozen with a stunned expression, her body limp. Si'Lea scrambled towards her, shoving Sora aside.

"Nixe?!...Nixe?" Si'Lea cried, trying to wake her up but to no avail as tears welled up within her eyes. Her body began to shake as she held her apprentice's lifeless form close, weeping openly as Nixe's body faded away completely. Sora and Aqua could do nothing but stand to the side, watching with sadness. Riku lay on the floor, snarling in anger and frustration.

"Riku." Namine said softly, catching the Replica's attention. Riku looked towards her, seeing a look of anger and determination on her face as tears ran down her cheeks.

"You know what to do." Namine said, Riku looking down with a look of similar anger for a moment, forcing himself to his feet.

"Yes." He replied, holding his side. Namine then approached Si'Lea, kneeling down beside her.

"We'll make them pay for what they've done. We'll put Nixe to rest." Namine said softly, Si'Lea looking up with a look of anger in her eyes.

"Yes…yes we will." Si'Lea said, starting to rise to her feet.

"I! THINK! NOT!" They heard Forte yell nearby. Suddenly all of his stops were pulled and he started playing a deafeningly loud piece, the mouths on his pipes opening wide in response as the entire mansion started to violently shake, the ballroom windows shattering. (Battle Music Cue: L'Oscurità dell'Ignot – DDD).

"What the-?!" Sora yelped as Forte laughed maniacally over his music. The Keyblade Wielders quickly scrambled to their feet, Si'Lea's eyes flashing with fury.

"FORTE!" She yelled, remembering the recent revelation of his betrayal, summoning her Keyblade and shield, Sora, Aqua, and Namine summoning their Keyblades as well as Forte conjured long snaking beams of neon green music measures, the music flying at them, forcing the four onto the defensive.

"Can you believe I never took a lesson?!" Forte laughed as he did all in his power to bring down the mansion.

"Take this, you traitor!" Si'Lea yelled, rearing back her Keyblade and sending it spinning through the air but the Keyblade was knocked out of the air by one of Forte's measures, the evil pipe organ laughing in amusement.

"Heavens, Master! You're not singing!" Forte yelled, mocking the Keyblade Master and attacking her directly with measures of his music. The Keyblade Wielders were unable to advance against the organ, the force of his music being too much and constantly forcing them back.

"We've got to find a way to silence him!" Aqua yelled as Namine looked and saw the keys on the keyboard moving in synch with the music.

"Sora! The Keyboard!" Namine yelled, Sora looking and seeing what she did. He quickly fired off a Firaga, the fireball hurtling towards Forte but the organ deflected it again, causing him to laugh in amusement.

"You could've joined us, Seven, but I see our triumph, is a solo act! So naïve! You're second fiddle, girl, and that's all you'll ever be!" Forte laughed but Namine glared at him angrily.

"That's what you think!" she replied, pointing her Keyblade towards the evil organ, causing small shimmering white portals to appear in the floor around her. From the portals flew endless lengths of chain, all flying through the air towards Forte, the chains intercepting his measures of music.

"NOW!" Namine yelled as Si'Lea broke free, barreling towards Forte, Keyblade raised. She finally reached the keyboard in spite of Forte's best efforts, stabbing her Keyblade into the keyboard. With a yell of fury, she cast a Fission Firaga spell, causing the keyboard to explode in a shower of splinters, the music suddenly coming to a stop (End battle music). Forte let out a loud wheeze of pain, slumping back against the wall, skull-like visages emerging from his pipes. Si'Lea then snarled up at him and reared back her Keyblade. She said nothing but let out a roar of anger as she threw her Keyblade up at Forte, striking him in the head as she leapt back.

"Ngh! Wha-?!" Forte asked, disoriented and confused as he attempted to move, one of his larger stacks jerking forward slightly before breaking free of the wall, the stack toppling forward.

"Augh! NOOOOOOOOOO!" Forte cried out as he felt himself falling forward. The Keyblade Masters quickly raced clear as the wall of pipes came crashing to the ground, signaling the end of the traitorous pipe organ. Si'Lea observed the lifeless rows of pipes with a somber glare.

"Forte." She muttered softly. They all stood staring at the mass of pipes for a moment before Sora turned and saw Namine.

"Namine! You're alright!" Sora exclaimed, hurrying over and embracing her. Namine smiled, relieved to see him.

"Sora! You came for me!" she said as Sora gave a nod.

"You bet I did! I couldn't just let you get kidnapped! Kairi will be glad to have you back and I know Roxas is ecstatic right now." Sora said as Namine smiled but her smile quickly faded as she noticed Si'Lea.

"I'm sure…but I can't go back…not yet." She said, walking over towards Si'Lea but Sora stopped her, grabbing her by the arm.

"What do you mean?" Sora asked.

"Nixe. We have to, at the very least, put her to rest, to end her suffering." Namine said, catching Si'Lea's attention.

"Why do you care? You want her heart for yourself, witch?" Si'Lea asked, clearly distrustful of Namine.

"No. I want her suffering to end. I might be a Nobody and a Witch, but I cannot stand idly by and let the Sisterhood get away with this! I never joined them voluntarily, I was kidnapped and forced to help them! I want these worlds to be free of their tyranny at last! I'm willing to take the fight to the Sisterhood of Seven at long last, what about you?!" Namine asked as Si'Lea walked up to her, looking her over.

"You're right. It's time to stop hiding. It's time we took them on at long last…and I know just what we'll need to do it." Si'Lea said as she and Namine headed for the doors, leaving Aqua and Sora behind. Aqua however was looking around curiously.

"Hey, where did Riku go?" she asked. Sora blinked in surprise as he looked around. Sure enough, Riku was nowhere to be found.

"Yeah, hey I don't even remember seeing him during the fight!" Sora said.

"Where could he have gone? He was wounded so he couldn't have gone far." Aqua said as they headed for the door but stopped when they saw Namine standing before them.

"Don't worry about Riku. His mission was a failure, and he knows exactly what to do and where to go." Namine said, turning and looking thoughtfully towards the front doors as they stood open.

In Twilight Town…

Riku, Terra, Ven, Axel, and Kairi watched from the sidelines in the sandlot as Hayner sparred with Xenix using struggle bats. Pence and Olette were watching from the sidelines as well but from a different spot. Xenix was proving quite the challenge for Hayner.

"So Destiny Island weddings are not like normal weddings eh?" Axel asked. Somehow, their conversation had gotten onto Destiny Island Culture.

"It's really romantic, I think. It takes place on those little islands that Riku, Sora, and I play on all the time. It requires a bunch of handmade boats and canoes, all sail driven, the mayor-…" Kairi explained, Riku chiming in.

"Her dad, that is." Riku added.

"-…and a paopu fruit. There aren't even big poofy dresses either. Never have had a desire to wear some outrageously expensive dress." Kairi commented.

"Really? I'm legit surprised by that." Terra commented.

"Hey, I'm a simple girl with simple interests." Kairi quipped with a playful smile.

"You forgot to mention the chanting. There's a lot of that." Riku said.

"I like the chanting though. It's not like some kind of pagan ritual. It's celebratory." Kairi said before Ven noticed something.

"Hey, why are we glowing?" Ven asked. The five looked at each other and noticed that they plus Xenix were glowing with a sky blue aura.

"Uh-oh, that's the old man's teleportation spell locking onto us! We'll probably be pulled away any-." Axel said but was interrupted as all six of the targeted individuals vanished in a flash of blue light, leaving a confused Hayner, Pence, and Olette behind.

"What just happened?" Pence asked.

"Ugh, Keyblade stuff I'll bet." Hayner replied.

Inside Yen Sid's Tower…

"-second…now. Oh." Axel stammered as they found themselves outside of Yen Sid's chambers.

"Wonder what he wants." Riku said as the door opened for them. They saw Yen Sid standing near the front of his desk, looking at something on the floor before him. (A/N: I recommend cuing up the piano collection version of "The Other Promise" right now for ambiance)

"Master Yen Sid, what's going-…what?" Riku asked in disbelief as they filed into the room, all of them gazing on in shock at what they saw on the floor. Kneeling before the Keyblade Master, his left hand to his side, right arm braced against Yen Sid's desk, and with labored breathing knelt what appeared to be…

"Riku? Is that-…" Kairi stammered in shock as the real Riku stared at his doppelganger in surprise, approaching him cautiously, stopping next to Yen Sid.

"He appeared in my tower without warning. Said he needed to see you, urgently." Yen Sid said as Riku gave a nod.

"What are you doing here?" Riku asked as the Riku Replica looked up at the original, a look of pained urgency on his face.

"Riku…you have to save her!" The Replica pleaded, grabbing onto Riku by the arms.

"What are you talking about? Save who?" Riku asked, the Replica looking down at the floor.

"I failed in my mission. I promised I would protect her no matter what, that she could count on me and I failed! You are her last hope of putting her spirit to rest!" The Replica said, looking up at him.

"You're not making any sense! Who do I need to rescue?" Riku asked. The Replica looked up at him for a moment before pressing his hand up against Riku's forehead for a moment. Riku then recoiled with a yelp of pain.

"Gah! What the-…what did you do?!" he asked as the Replica struggled to stay upright from the pain.

"You know who you have to save! You've known all along but the memory's been hidden from you for the past eleven years! You know her name! Remember who she is! Remember what she means to you, and remember what she is to Sora!" the Replica pleaded as Riku put his hand to his forehead, fighting off some pain for a moment before his eyes opened in realization.

"Nixe…her name was Nixe…but wait…N-I-X-E…add an X, rearrange…" Riku said, looking slowly towards Xenix who seemed confused, Riku's eyes widening as he looked at her.

"Nixe!" he gasped in realization. Xenix slowly approached him but the minute the Replica saw her, his eyes widened in shock.

"What?! How is she-…a Nobody? But that means-…" the Replica said, drifting into thought for a moment before gasping in realization.

"That means there's still hope of saving her!" the Replica said as he struggled to rise to his feet but took only one step forward before collapsing again, Riku quickly catching him, the two Rikus looking at each other, the Replica breathing heavily from the pain at his side.

"Riku, she is suffering and the only way to relieve her suffering is to rescue her! She must know her past! Where she comes from! Her heart is separate from her body, held in the clutches of a Nobody who would seek to make Nixe's heart her own! You must bring her! She's the only one who can bring her back!" the Replica pleaded, pointing to Xenix. Riku looked over his shoulder, looking at Xenix in thought for a moment.

"Yes…it's the only way, isn't it?" Riku said as the Replica pulled him close.

"There is one more thing…absorb me, take all that remains of me. Then you will know what to do when the time comes!" the Replica said as Riku looked at him confused.

"Why can't you do it yourself?" he asked. The Replica grimaced in pain, looking down at his side where the First Sister's blade had pierced his side. Black wisps of darkness were rising from his wound, his body crystalizing gradually from his side.

"I'm dying, Riku. I didn't have the power to complete my mission. But absorb me, absorb my being. Do this, and all of my memories, my experiences with Nixe, will never be forgotten." The Replica pleaded, Riku realizing the Replica's true meaning behind his words.

"You love her, don't you?" he asked, the Replica smiling up at him slightly.

"No, Riku…I'm not the one who's in love with her…or rather, I'm not the Riku that's in love with her." The Replica said as Riku blinked in surprise for a moment before smiling, bowing his head. The Replica smiled with relief as both he and Riku started to glow with a white light that seemed to emanate from the floor beneath them. The Replica leaned his head back as his body turned to crystal, a smile of relief on his face before he was nothing but a large white crystal which soon began to glow and shimmer before turning into light, the light flowing into Riku, traveling up his arms and into a spot in his chest which glowed brightly. This continued until the Replica was gone, and Riku knelt alone on the floor, looking at his hands as memories came surging through his brain.

"Don't worry old friend. We'll finish your mission." Riku said, standing up with a determined gaze.

"Master Yen Sid." He finally said, turning towards the Keyblade Master.

"There never was a tradition that only Keyblade Masters were allowed to go to the Forgotten Worlds, was there?" Riku asked, a look of resolve on his face. Yen Sid shook his head.

"No. In truth, it was Master Si'Lea's request that only Keyblade Masters make the journey. She warned me over eleven years ago, that someone in those worlds had discovered the key to making Nobodies into whole beings by stealing the hearts of other Keyblade Wielders. Only Masters have the power to protect their hearts from this kind of thievery." Yen Sid explained, surprising the others.

"You mean, Si'Lea is the reason we've been kept here?" Terra asked.

"For your own safety. She presented her evidence and I deemed it too great of a risk, especially given that this warning was issued after the events of your Mark of Mastery Exam, eleven years ago, Terra." Yen Sid said as Terra grimaced.

"I see." He replied.

"So, what can we do now? It sounds like Aqua, Sora, and Si'Lea need our help now!" Ven said as Riku approached Xenix.

"More importantly, your heart is over there." Riku said to Xenix who blinked in surprise.

"My heart?" she asked.

"Every question in your mind, every memory you cannot recall, all of it, the answers lie over in the Forgotten Worlds." Riku said before turning to Yen Sid.

"Master, we're going to the Forgotten Worlds." Riku said as Terra stepped forward, summoning his Keyblade.

"And with all due respect sir, we'd like to see you try and stop us." Terra said but Yen Sid merely smiled.

"Axel…" he said as Axel arched an eyebrow.

"Yo?" he asked.

"Are you prepared for a long distance trip?" Yen Sid asked, the other Keyblade Apprentices' faces lighting up as they realized Yen Sid had no intention of stopping them. Axel grinned and summoned his Chakrams.

"You even have to ask? It's payback time!" Axel said as Yen Sid's hat started to glow.

"Then prepare yourselves, for we now depart, for the Forgotten Worlds." Yen Sid said, raising his arms, each of them, including Yen Sid, starting to glow with the blue aura of his teleportation spell. Riku took Xenix by the hand, a smile of determination on his face and Keyblade summoned.

"Hold on, Nixe, the cavalry is on its way." He said before they were enveloped by a bright blue light.

End Chapter 58

It's getting tense now. The climactic final battles are almost upon us.
