I just want to thank you guys so much! All of the positive comments are so gratefully appreciated. I promise to keep it up.
Rachel looked into Finn's eyes but his expression showed nothing, like he had heard nothing that she had just told him. The only thing that gave it away was the grip of Finn's hands on her shoulders were getting tighter and tighter.
"Finn?" She asked looking into his eyes. "Finn?" She asked again worriedly as she got no response.
Finn froze on the spot, never in a million years did he expect her to say something like that especially with everything that was going on now. How long has she known he thought finally coming back around. He released the grip on Rachel and took two steps back looking at her confused. "Your pregnant?"
Rachel nodded. "It's yours." She quickly added, she didn't know why she actually said it but looking at Finn's face he wasn't happy either. He face went from pale white to bright red in a matter of seconds.
"Yeah i kinda guessed that Rachel." He snapped. "I wasn't going to insult with you with an obvious question." Said Finn coldly. He knew the baby was hi, he knew Rachel would never get herself in a situation with anyone else but him. "I just thought higher of you than that."
Used to? Rachel thought. "And what is that supposed to mean?" She snapped back. "Explain yourself Finn." She added angrily. He was acting like he was the victim in this when really the victim is her. She was the one left alone not him.
"Oh you know where i'm coming from." Finn said with more pain than anger. "I mean." He shook his head laughing. "How far along are you in the pregnancy Rachel?"He asked. "Because the last time we were together was about 3 months ago! Therefore it has given you plenty of time to come forward with this."
Rachel started pacing, her thoughts were mixed with pain and anger. She knew Finn wouldn't react well with the answer she was going to give him. "It's my body which means my baby." She said shaking with pure rage. "It was my decision to take and-"
"That's were your wrong." Finn shouted interrupting her. His eyes were almost black in anger. "This is going to change my life too! You had to tell me and-"
"I'm telling you know aren't i." Rachel shouted. "What else do you need! For gods sake." She said shaking her head taking a seat on a wooden chair. "Your overreacting and i'm not asking you for anything." She said trying to calm down. She knew this wasn't good for the baby. "You can be as involved in this as you want to be Finn, i'm not telling you what to do."
"You still don't understand do you?" Finn said with more pain in his voice. "I can't help but think that you weren't going to tell me about our baby if i didn't show up here." He said sighing.
He looked at Rachel and seen the tears starting to fill her eyes. He didn't want to make her cry but she needed to understand where he was coming from.
All Rachel could think about was his words. Our baby.
"I was going to tell you." She said in a whisper looking up into his eyes.
"When? When he came looking for me?" Finn asked sarcastically. "You suck at lying Rachel! I know you so don't try and insult me"
"I was going to tell you Finn." She added crying.
"Really?" He asked trying to find her eyes. "Rachel look at me." He shouted. Rachel lifted her head and looked at him. "Tell me the truth, were you really going to tell me about out baby?" he raised his finger before she could answer. "And that nobody was forcing you to tell me." He added thinking about Jessie.
Rachel's mouth fell open. She stayed quiet for a couple of seconds and decided to answer. "You said you had plans Finn, you wanted the college experience and everything that came along with it, i thought it was for the best."
"The best? I'm sorry but the best for who?" Finn said crossing his arms over his chest. "And don't you dare say me." He said coldly. "You know why your unforgivable, you know why!"
"Oh yeah?" She asked standing up from the chair. "Come on please humor me."
"Shut up Rachel." Finn said gritting his teeth. "You know what kids mean to me! I told you once i would be better than what my dad would be for me."
"I know." Rachel said crossing her arms above her stomach.
Finn decided to ignore her. "I always spoke about my future and said i would be an amazing dad and that one of my worst fears was me never being their for my child." he said his voice getting harsher. "And you almost took that away from me Rachel! And that's why i'm so mad" You knew exactly how i would feel, but you still did it." He said as his voice began to shake.
"Yeah? Well right back at you!" Rachel screamed, tears falling down her face. "I will never leave you, i will love you forever." Rachel screamed mimicking Finn's voice. and laughing. "Please, you broke your promises, don't you dare try and play the victim because you don't fit the part." She added spitting venom.
"You know why i did what i did Rachel." He said shaking his head. " You better head back home." He said looking into her eyes. "I need time to think and don't want to say things i will regret."
Rachel nodded and picked up her bag. She knew the situation would only get worse if she stayed, they were both tired and angry. Rachel opened the door but before leaving she turned back. "Don't worry Finn, you can't hurt me anymore than you have already." She said before closing the door and looking through her phone ringing him breaking down. "It's me, i need to see you. I will be over soon." She said hanging up.
Rachel stopped in front of the house and sighed. She walked to the door, it was getting really late and her body was already so tired. She knocked three times on the door.
"Hey." She said when the man answered the door.
Brody looked at her for a moment before moving a side and letting her in. He knew that she had made her choice and that she would never love him but he couldn't just erase her from his life.
Rachel walked in and turned to face him. "I'm sorry, i know i'm not being fair." She said guilty. "I have no right to come here." Her eyes filled up with tears. "But you help me, you make me feel better." She shook her head laughing. "You always make me smile." She said starting to cry.
Brody walked over to her and hugged her tightly kissing her head. "It's okay." He whispered. "Everything will be okay, besides i like being the one who can make you smile even if its the only thing i can do." He added, he heard her yawn. "Your tired." He said breaking their embrace.
"I don't want to go home." She said pouting. "Please can i stay." She asked.
Brody nodded with a small smile. "Oh course you can stay." He said walking her down the hall. "I have a spare, empty bedroom." He said opening the door. "This is a room i keep for my counselling patients." He added laughing.
Rachel laughed. "Thank you." She said walking into the room before turning around. "Would you-." She started biting her lip nervously.
"What?" Brody asked
"Would you just stay with me for a while?"
"Oh." Brody said. "Oh course i will." he added clearing his throat.
The next morning Rachel was woken by the smell of breakfast in the air.
"Food." She growled walking into the kitchen.
"Food is right." Brody smirked putting a plate in front of her. "Eat first then we will talk." He said sitting in front of her.
"Okay just say it." Rachel said putting a piece of bacon in her mouth. "I know you want to say something but you don't know how to say it."
"You know me too well." Brody said laughing.
"Ditto my friend." She smiled. "So are you going to say something or?"
"Jessie just phoned me." He said moving slightly. "Finn is waiting for you their."
"Oh." Rachel replied feeling guilt and anger. "So he knows i'm here?"
"I guess he does." Brody said nodding. "I see he's always on your mind." He added looking away.
"What?" Rachel asked confused.
"You talked in your sleep last night." He admitted.
"Yeah?" Rachel asked surprised. "What did i say?"
"Umm." Brody said going red. "You said that you were sorry Finn and that you loved him."
"Yeah, well it got pretty ugly last night." Rachel stated.
"Yeah?" Brody asked. "Well the anger means you care."
Rachel opened her mouth to talk but Brody stopped her.
"I'm not blaming you or judging it, it's just."
"You don't know what happened." Rachel said slamming her fork down.
"So tell me what happened." Brody said raising his voice.
"You wouldn't understand" She said beginning to walk away but stopped as she heard a familiar voice.
"Your right he doesn't, but i sure as hell do."
Rachel turned around and stood frozen.
"Noah?" She whispered. She turned to Brody for answers.
"I am going to give you two a few minutes." Brody said walking off.
"Thanks for calling me." Puck shouted and Brody waved his arm.
"He called you?" Rachel asked?
"Yeah, now tell me whats wrong, because i did not travel all of this way for nothing to be said." Puck said walking towards Rachel. "But first come and give your brother a hug." He said smiling opening his arms.
Rachel ran straight for him before breaking down. "You don't know how much it means for you to be here." She sobbed.
Puck's heart broke he had never seen his sister like this, he pulled Rachel over to the couch and sat her down.
"Princess what happened?" He said stroking her face.
Rachel looked at him, she didn't know what he reaction would be so just said it. "Noah, i'm pregnant."
Puck's mouth dropped open. "I'm sorry did you just say pregnant?" He asked.
Rachel nodded. "I told him last night and he flipped."
Puck ran his fingers through his hair. "Wow." He said. "You haven't told mam?" He asked
Rachel shook her head. "No, but i will soon, i just need to sort stuff with him." She said smiling.
Puck smiled. "I'm going to be a uncle?" He grinned placing a hand on Rachel's stomach.
Rachel placed her hand on top of his. "You sure are buddy." She said laughing.
Puck smiled before standing up which confused Rachel as he got his coat and went to the door.
"Where are you going?" She asked following him.
He turned and chucked a coat at her. "First things first i'm taking you to Finn, then we are going to all sit down and have a talk and skype mom." He said walking out the door as Rachel followed smiling.
