Chapter 31

"Sasori!" Instinctively she ran to him. With a jump the tiny body was ready to make an impact with powerful glomp. But. Stepping aside, the said male avoided the pink blob charging at him with no second thought. "Wah?!" Missing him by a foot, stumbling forward, Sakura almost made contact with the hard ground. She luckily balanced her body to minimize the impact. Falling with a soft thud, the angel was on her knees and palms flat on the ground. Green eyes blinking as her mind registered the situation. 'Darn it.' She pouted. Hand dusted her skirt as she stood to turn around. Emerald encountered the redhead. He stood lazily with his hands in his pockets. Dressed in a back trouser and red shirt, Sasori looked—almost human.

"Cherry. You know. We can't make contact." His dulled orbs stared at her. This girl was as dumb as he last saw her—and that wasn't too long ago. A few days before her stupid little incident, perhaps? Yes, he had heard about it. Words weren't that hard to obtain in the three realms. They, in fact, traveled very fast. Mischievously stopping those messenger Angels from time to time to torment them, he had learned about her situation. Sigh. But something told him, this was much more different from the past missions. Much more important. He, even at his rank, could not do anything. 'She's on her own.'

"But I'm like a human now." She exclaimed in a hush tone. Either way, there weren't any living souls near them because of the earlier event. Everyone who witnessed the action before stayed clear off the area.

"You're still an Angel. The last thing I want to happen on my break is to have my skin burn…" Pointing at the other arm. "…along with the other one that is still burning for the past three years." He rolled up the cover on his lower-left arm. A bandage around the middle section, just below his elbow, a partially healed patch of burnt skin was shown. How he got it? It was a souvenir from their first encounter.

Pout. She remembered that moment. His scream could have woken the dead miles underground. "You were right there..." Muttering, he hardly ever stopped from reminding her.

"Sakura, I'm a Devil. I reap souls—not read them. How was I supposed to-(?)"

"Devil?" A dark tone interrupted their reunion.

They turned around to see Sasuke. Livid yet confuse at the same time. He stood aloof without an ice cream cone in his hand but rather an annoyance expression on his face. Who the helz was this kid? Devil? The question ran through his mind as he stared down at the fiery head. He wasn't that much taller nor did he look any older than Sakura. Their hair color was equally annoying.

"Sasuke-kun." Sakura gleamed, seeing the man. She stepped over to grab his hand, cheerfully leading him over to greet Sasori.

"Hn." Still gazing down at the Devil, expressionless, Sasuke raised his brow when Sasori returned the same gaze as he looked up.

"Sasuke-kun. This is Sasori. And Sasori, this is Sasuke-kun." Sakura wrapped her arms around the raven's.

Out of his unusual reaction, Sasuke held out his hand in greeting. But...

"Tche..." Sasori scoffed, not taking his hand. Sakura shook her head a bit. She was too acquainted with the Devil and his usual attitude.

Sasuke seethingly recoiled his hand to his side, fisting it. His eyes returned to the pink hair Angel. "Sakura. You never mentioned about Sasori." He put a strong emphasis on the name and the word 'never' as to say—you're not important enough to be mentioned. [Ha!]

Blush. She recalled the moment of a certain episode during one of their first night. Pulling Sasuke down, she mumbled into his ear. "You said before I'm not allowed to mention anyone..."

"Ah." He straightened up, smirking, knowing well that Sasori caught every word.

Simply because, silently, he stood and analyzed the interaction between the two. His eyes narrowed, a glint of disapproving flickered.

Breaking the tension, as a way to heal the action she committed, "But Sasori is my best bestest friend!"

This gave the Devil a heap of points. He returned a haunting grin at Sasuke, silently asking him. What's about you? His grin widened when Sasuke's face darkened. Obsidian was sending plenty of deadly arrows his way, wanting to stomp on Sasori, or shoo him away so he could enjoy his time with this pinkette in peace.

Sakura, clueless of their internal battle, stood with a cheerful smile. She then noticed. "Aw Sasuke-kun. Where's my ice cream cone?" Looking about, there was only a half-full water bottle in his other hand.

[...]

Sitting on the metal bench between the two mythical bodies, Sasuke wondered a bit how he got caught up in this situation. Wasn't he supposed to be spending today with his Angel...alone? Where did this kid come from? Should he be somewhere ... not here? What kind of devil likes to eat ice cream?

"So you're Sasuke Uchiha..." Finishing the chocolate cone in his hand, Sasori glanced sideway at the man.

For the—who knew how many—times "Hn." As in 'yes'.

"Ah." He responded, sounding like Sasuke's name was something not worth remembering.

Silently crushing the invisible miniature doll of Sasori in his palm, Sasuke quietly sat next to his Angel. He looked so out of place from his height in compare to the two tiny bodies. Mental image of the spectators—first glance at Sasuke and Sakura. "Oh how nice, a couple." Then saw Sasori. "Wah?"

From the other side, Sakura leaned over a bit. "Sasori. What are you doing here?" Almost forgetting to ask him of his sudden appearance.

"Uhm. Taking a day off. Wandering...I sensed your scent. That's how I found you."

They have vacation? Scent? While the two were conversing, Sasuke awkwardly sat in the middle. He chose to sit there in the first place, not wanting the devil any closer to Sakura. Listening to the talk brought a lot of confusions to his mind. They were chatting among the strangest thing, naming many creatures that he was sure only exist in legends. Then the way Sasori acted stirred his mind. Having him in the middle didn't make a difference. They were closer than he thought—completing each other sentence before the other one even say it. It seemed there were many things he knew nothing about regarding her. Sasori—who popped out of nowhere—on the other hand, knew great details that he had no access to. Sasuke asked himself. Had he ever tried—really tried? It didn't appear so. His mind was often too caught up with other things, he hardly think much whether this Angel was truly content. What she likes—beside the usual thing, she showed. He never really took the first initiative step to dig into her mind while she basically unearthed everything of him. Pondering to whatever place his mind carried him, he jogged his memory to the time they first met.

"Sasuke-kun?" Her sweet melody voice called out to him.

His conscious came back, feeling her hand hold his. "?"

"Let's go?" She motioned him to return to their former activity but this time with an additional guest. Realization hadn't dawned on him since there always would be something or someone interfered their date.

"Ah" He stood, holding Sakura's hand tightly. Obsidian looked at the carefree girl. His mind still wavered—maybe he really did need to pay more attention to this girl. The other kind of attention. The ones that he used to believe were annoying and useless in relating to female.

After a while, it became a bit disturbing knowing that the 'Devil' was walking beside him. Who wouldn't. In a flick of time, Sasori could send anyone through the door of the underworld. Luckily, he needed official paper to do so.

[-]

Envious eyes followed them everywhere. Her signature pink hair, his striking feature, and the mysterious aura from the redhead were turning heads as they walked by. The trio ignored the surrounding to enjoy the rest of their day. They skipped the rides to walk through the carnival section of the park. Stalls and stalls of prize winning games lined up the two sides.

Standing in front of the Dime Pitch, Sakura pouted. Biting her lips, it was her 20th tried. Clumsy as she could be, aiming wasn't her best forte. If she was to be a Cupid—*shudder*—so many mismatched couples.

Sasuke stood behind enjoying her many-changed expressions. She was utterly cute to say; even the host was feeling bad for the girl.

"Give it." Sasori spoke up from the side, motioned her to give him the bundle of coins in her hand that Sasuke exchanged. She unquestioningly did.

The two watched him closely as he jiggled the coins in hand. Sasuke scoffed, knowing well how much of a cheater these types of game were. He was only there because of Sakura.

A sudden toss, Sasori threw them all at once onto the table. There was no rule against it so why not. They stood and waited until every coin settled.

"!" The Angel's mouth hung.

Sasuke palmed his face.

"Hm… I guessed I used too much force." Seeing most of the coins settled on the far side and on the ground. Hardly any of them covered any circle of the indicated prize.

Gloom. Sakura clung to the side of the stall. "Sasori!" She whined.

"What? You were taking too long."

She pouted, stalking after the redhead.

Sigh~ Sasuke rubbed his neck. About to leave but halted in his step when he heard, "Aw how cute."The host exclaimed after the two moving blobs. But the uniformed man shivered up in fear from the chill running his spine. His body shrank as the annoyed Sasuke walked by to notify his existence.

"Sasuke-kun!" She jumped in surprise by his sudden hold when he came up from behind and grabbed her waist. They strolled away after he gave the host one last glance. She's mine.

[…]

"Sasuke Uchiha..." Sasori mumbled out his name again. This time just to annoy the man, knowing that he was trying his hardest not to strangle him in front of the girl.

Letting out a harsh breath, Sasuke kept his walk calmed and collected beside Sasori. His eyes followed Sakura as she ran ahead, picking their next destination.

"You know... Devils have a very ... very strong sense of smell." His words were on to something, implying.

"..." Though this self exclaimed genius didn't really getting it.

"It took me a while to really find Cherry there." He made a movement brushing his nose with his hand. "Apparently her scent changed." Glancing up to Sasuke, his eyes said—I know what's going on.

Finally figuring out his hidden meaning, Sasuke gave him a nonchalant look—So?

Liking his personality, Sasori smirked. He shrugged his shoulders and walked ahead, catching up to Sakura.

That reaction made Sasuke puzzled for a moment. His eyes narrowed seeing the redhead carefully leaned in close to whisper something into Sakura's ear. A slight moment later, the girl shivered up with her skin flustered. She stopped dead in her track to let out a shriek and covered her face in embarrassment.

Sigh. This must be a joke. What kind of devil is he?

"I'm a soul reaper. I lead the dead to the Underworld's Gate so they don't become lost souls. Like a Grim Reaper? Or Shinigami in your term." Proudly stating his job, he answered Sasuke's unasked question.

"!?" He stared down, secretly surprised at Sasori's suddenness, almost not quick enough to register the information that was thrown his way.

Sasori stood with his laid-back posture, looking at the food stand in front of them and the pink hair girl waiting in line. She volunteered to do so, giving them the time to be acquainted with each other.

"Hn."

"You don't talk much, do you?" Stating the obvious, he found it amusing how the man was able to put up with the talkative Angel. Even he couldn't, there were numerous times when he wanted to muffle the girl.

Not hiding it anymore. Awkwardly, Sasuke asked, "How did you meet Sakura?" Since, to him, Angels and Devils are from two completely different worlds—but that was only from his childhood tales, figment of human imaginary or of what they tried to convey. Perhaps there were many who had been in the same situation as his and they tried to convince others to believe by retelling the story. Well something like this was not believable until encountered. There were times; Sasuke would ask himself again to reassure his mentality. The answer always resulted the same … Sakura is indeed an Angel—his Angel.

A short stillness after his question, Sasuke waited for the Devil to answer. His face forward, seeing the mentioned girl starting a chat with a few girls in line. He ignored the way they glanced back at his direction.

"Ah, I figure you would ask that. Sooner or later..." And his tale began…

"Hic. Hic. Hic."

In a total white hallway,

A girl, dressed completely in white,

Sat all crunch up against the wall, silently crying

With her head buried within her arms on her knees

She felt alone in the world

No one found her

No one heard her

No one saw her

Except him

"Oi."

He

The Devil

Stood before the girl in his usual dark cloak and his book in hand

Doing his usual round in the hospital

Gathering the wandering souls to the Underworld

In time for their judgment

"What are you doing here?"

He asked her

Seeing the bright halo surrounding her frail body

He knew

She was an Angel.

"Huh?"

The girl looked up

In surprise and fear

"I don't know," she replied.

Shaken, her body shivered from crying for so long

She was lost, he thought.

"You're supposed to report to the Heaven's Gate."

Pure emeralds looked at him with hundred of questions

"Where is that?"

"Up there."

He pointed up.

"How do I get there?"

"You just follow the light."

"What light?"

She was confused more than ever.

Who was she?

Where did she come from?

What is her purpose?

"You're an Angel don't you know that?"

She shook her head and he scratched his.

Tears bundled on the brim of her eyes again.

Fearing, he quickly stated.

"D-don't cry. I'll help you!"

She stopped.

"I'll take you to the Heaven's Gate."

Smiling, she nodded her head in gratitude.

"Just follow me."

He motioned her to stand up.

She did and walked toward him

But clumsy as she was,

In a flashing moment

She tripped from the sleepy legs,

Launching her body forward

"GAAAHHH!"

A piercing cry erupted from the Devil.

Her hand had grabbed his arm out of reaction, marking a full hand-print on his skin.

Burning it.

Quickly releasing, she recoiled to see the Devil holding his arm

Cursing from the pain.

"I-I'm s-so ssorry..."

She didn't know what to do

Biting her lips

She hated how her eyes were crying again

Useless, she felt.

"..." He mumbled some words.

"?"

"It's fine." The devil finally caught his breath.

Squinted her brows, biting her lips from seeing his pained expression

"Let's go." He firmly told her.

"But your arm?..."

"It's nothing...It'll be a proof."

"?"

"I met an Angel today."

Blink blink

The way he grinned made her feel more relieved

And

For a long while they walked

She obediently followed behind him

But not quietly

"Who are you?"

She asked

"I'm Sasori. Devil of the Underworld."

"Do you like ..." was the start of her many questions

[…]

"Here."

They stood in front of a grand golden gate

Emerald widened at the magnificent detail

It was shining glory

"Come."

He waved for the girl to follow him

They walked through the door, along the cloud bits path

"Sasori. State your purpose."

A mighty voice echoed above them

The Warden, who later became quite familiar with the pink hair girl

"I'm helping this lost Angel."

A signal for the girl to walk forward.

"Hm?"

"Hello?"

She spoke to the invisible voice

"Your name?"

"I-I don't know."

"The time of your death then."

"I'm not sure."

"Hm?"

Suddenly, the cloud dispersed. In front of them was a mighty podium made of silver and gold engraving.

"Hmm…"

Out peaking from the top was an elderly Angel.

His face wrinkled, eye sight aided with glasses.

He stooped over the top to look at the girl after glancing at Sasori.

His eyebrow rose.

After a while of looking at his book, he glanced down again.

Then looked at the girl.

Back and forth.

Back and forth.

"…"

"Back in a moment."

He closed his book and disappeared.

The two stood baffled for a while.

Sasori shrugged his shoulder when the girl turned to ask him what was going on.

The sun was setting over the horizon.

"Sasori…I'm sorry for taking a lot of your time."

"Nah. It's fine." He was enjoying the moment. Just sitting there, looking out.

"Don't you have to return?" Because he belonged to a place. He had a purpose. He had status and identity.

"Not for now."

"Ah."

"Yep."

"Sasori."

"Yes. Warden." He turned to greet the incoming Angel.

"Come here. I want to talk to you."

Their conversation was to be kept secretive.

"Thank you for helping me."

"It's nothing."

"Will I see you again?"

"I'll visit."

"Your wound…"

"Don't worry. The warden already gave me something to cover it. It'll heal."

"Ah. Thank you Sasori. You're my first friend." She smiled.

"Ah okay. Now go. He's waiting for you."

"Oh. Thank you again."

"Next time. Tell me your name and show me your wings."

"Wings?"

"You're an Angel."

[...]

"Look! Look! Sasori! Look!"

"Yes I can see. You're flying."

"I love my wings."

He stood looking at the girl with her blossom wings, spreaded wide, flapping to carry her body in mid air.

"And guess what my name is."

"Hm. Pinky."

"No. It's Sakura!"

"Ah." Of course, he knew. More of. He heard from the traveling words.

Knowing well not to ask her of her last name from a very special incident that happened not long after she was recruited to be an Apprentice Mission Angel.

Apparently, this Angel wasn't very fond of her last name.

Among the thousands cases of death, only a few were selected to be Angels

And she was one of them

However, what made her unique was the blankness in her memory

She knew nothing of her former life nor did she show any sign of wanting to know

As if knowing, her cheeriness would be lost when she uncover the past

Therefore, Sakura's mind was a like a newborn infant

She enjoyed every day of her new life in the heavenly world of Angels.

[...]

Carefully, he listened to each word; uneasiness stirred within his body. He was in indeed envious of the Devil. The chance he had, the moment he shared, the time he spent with Sakura. Sasuke felt like a spec of dust in comparison to Sasori to her. But he brushed it aside, remembering the last bit of hazy detail the redhead skipped. Blocking whatever Sasori was bloating to him after he mentioned … her last name. Had he blocked that off for so long? He should have known it was something crucial.

"… clumsy as always, she failed most…" Sasori got carried away telling his tale.

"I'm back!" Sakura interrupted them with drinks and snacks in her arms. Giving the Devil his share, she turned to Sasuke. "Here you go Sasuke-kun." Giving him a water bottle plus her bright smile, she opened up the fruit salad cup in hand.

Silently observing, Sasori nibbled on his apple. He noticed the way the two were acting ever since earlier. Hm. Studying the way Sasuke leaned back against the wall with Sakura closely standing in front of him. Ineptly, he did feel like the third wheel, standing there.

"Cherry." He called for the girl's attention. "Want some apple?" Holding out his apple to share with the girl. She happily nodded her head, leaning toward him, about to take a bite—just like before, they would always share a treat, but that event didn't do by smoothly.

"Hn." Suddenly his hand reached out to cup Sakura's cheek, pulling her his way. Sasuke fed the girl a slice of caramelized apple from her cup.

"?" She chewed it, confused, not really getting the situation…

"Heh…" Sasori on the hand let out a chuckle. He took a big bite from his apple. Everything clicked in place. Sasuke, like all human, was too easy to figure out.

"…" Obsidian narrowed. His stared deepened toward Sasori's direction.

o-o-o-o-o

"Aw." Sigh"The park closes too early on Sunday." Pouting, she didn't get the chance to survey the whole park, not even the Ferris wheel.

"Sakura it's still here. We can come back." Cheering the girl up, Sasuke enjoyed the reaction she gave when she clutched his arm tight and squealed in happiness.

"Uchiha. You're spoiling her. Is it me or you two switching roles here?" Sasori stated as he turned around to meet them.

Sakura blushed. Sasori was right. She was being a bit spoiled, but it was all because Sasuke was too nice to her. Sasuke, however, didn't really care, as long as the Angel was by his side. That was all he wanted.

"Hn." He looked down at the Devil, his eyes said, Shouldn't you be going?

As if he could read minds, Sasori smirked. Nah. Motioned his index finger to Sakura in a 'come here' movement, she released Sasuke's arm to walk ahead then in a swift move of his hand, Sasori hypnotized the girl to sleep. Quickly catching the falling body, Sasuke kneeled on the ground clutching her protectively in his arms. He snapped his head up to be entrapped in a shocking scene.

The wind picked up. They were currently in the empty section of the park leading out to the private parking lot. Sasuke and an unconscious Angel on the ground while in front of them was…

"SASUKE UCHIHA." The voice of the teenage boy turned grim, powerfully echoed his eardrums. Sasuke was face to face with the real physical appearance of the Devil.

Inhumanly tall, perhaps ten feet, Sasori armored body was cladding in his dark cloak. Horns on his head, sharp. His red tail lazily swinging back and forth. The pair of deadly black wings flapping behind him. Long black nail, he tapped his chin, leaning down closer to human body.

"Hm. You don't seem scared." Sasuke's face unchanged. "Damn it." He narrowed his eyes, thinking his true form would bring tear to this man. Apparently not. He wasn't like normal human, indeed.

"What kind of game is this?" He demanded a reason.

"Game?" The word rolled off his tongue sluggishly. "Uchiha. I am more than a hundred years old. What are you trying to imply?" Sasori was a bit mad, irritated by the way Sasuke had been treating him like kid from the way he looked.

"Hn." Grimace a bit, Sasuke tightened his jaw.

"Heh. I'll make it short and quick. Listen and listen well Uchiha." The Devil snaked his head right in front of him. "This encounter wasn't anything of coincident. I purposely wanted to see what kind of human you are. The greed? The sloth? The wrath?" He dangerously inhaled a deep breath to feed on the inevitable fear coming from a pure mortal. "The extravagance? The gluttony? The despair? The envy? The pride? Or … the lust? " His fingernails scratched along Sasuke's flawless face, intimidating him. "I warn you. Uchiha." Blood shot eyes stared into impassive obsidian. "Anything happen to her. Anything at all. I will make sure… you wish you'll live forever." Cold air suddenly rushing up from the ground; fog swirled around. "Because once you are on your deathbed. Your soul is like a pawn in my palm. Easily crush. And even if I have to be blown to dust, I will make sure you'll never see the light of life..."

"…" Beginning to feel the threat creeping up his spine, Sasuke held on to his blank face, silently swallowing a gulp down his throat.

"...Ever. For eternity." The Devil ended his words. "Other than that …" He leaned back up. "Enjoy your time living. And do look after her." He gave the man a grin. "I'm sure I'll see you again." And the raven knew well what he meant. Sasuke was a mere human. "She'll wake up soon in time." Enormous black wings began to carry his body above ground. The wind picked up around them and the fog darkened. "I was pleased with today. A nice break in a while. *A content sigh* Very well… Adieu," and he was gone.

"Do you have a pair of wings too?"

"Uh huh."

"Show me."

"No."

"Why?"

"Because then I will have to show you my true form."

"So?"

"Believe me. You don't want to see it."

"How so?"

"It's not pleasant for an Angel to see."

"Uhm…" The tiny body squirmed in his arms. Her lips mumbled. Slowly emeralds opened to the manly chest. Quickly, her mind registered the situation. "Sasori!" She jolted up not knowing that Sasuke was walking to the car.

"Hn!" Almost got hit in the jaw by her head, his voice became annoyed, "Sakura."

"Huh?" She calmed down, nonetheless confused as always. Poor girl. Standing aloof, Sasuke stood in the middle of the parking lot with a baffled Angel looking around.

"He's gone already." His voice showed a tint of elated. Finally.

"Why did he knock me out?" Pouting, she never could predict his action or understand it, always like that, appeared without warning and gone in a flash.

"He just wanted a talk with me," he shifted her body a little then continued walking, She looked up to ask more but Sasuke gave her a reply, "A secret."

And the girl pouted, curious, her tiny hands clutched his shoulders, shaking it, "I want to know."

"Sakura settle down or I'm going to drop you."

She pouted more.

o-o-o-o-o

"…Then one time we would team up with the fairies to free the unicorns and let them roam. I think I made the Warden cry that day…Sasori...he...we…"

That was what he had been enduring ever since the ride home to the time they walked inside. He sat quietly listening to her as she prepared dinner and while they were finishing their meal.

Every 10 seconds that name would tear into his ear.

Sasori.

Sasori.

Sasori…

"…"

Fuck Sasori.

He remembered now why he wouldn't want her to mention any other male. Because, the only person she supposed to think of, talk of—was him. Him, only.

"Sakura."

"Hm?" She turned back to look at him. They were now sitting on the floor facing the glass wall with all the doors opened to lead toward the garden. Watching the night darkened from inside the dark condo. Freshly showered, Sasuke sat a bit further back with his back against the wall of the hallway. His hair was slightly drenched. While Sakura in her nightwear, was dangling her legs over the ledge.

"Life in Heaven must be … pleasant huh?"

"You bet!" She beamed up a smile. "But not all the time, we have fun and games but there are chores too. Like I told you before."

"Ah." Pulling his legs up, he propped his arms on the knees. His thought was free to wander.

"Sasuke-kun." The Angel crawled to him. Kneeling with her thighs on the sides, straightened out her arm, she settled in front of him. "But this world has its own beauty and vitality. Living is the best. You know. The cycle of life. It's a beautiful thing. Magical." She placed her head on his knee. Half lid emerald gazing with a smile. "It's not good … but I envy you a lot. And others too. Even the Angels in heaven."

Obsidian closely gazing at the girl. She seemed so fragile and delicate. With his hand, he brought it up to comb her hair. So soft.

"I once heard an elder Angel said. 'The longer I live, the more beautiful life becomes—If only I can live longer. Life will be more beautiful.' Then he laughed really contently." She smiled at the memory.

"Hn." Continued to stroke her head, Sasuke tried to dissect her words..

"Most Angels I know. They all have a part of their past life with them. But…" Her voice quivered. It started to loose its cheeriness. "I don't."

Hiding her face, Sakura felt weird as her eyes blurred. She couldn't help it, but the thought of it, brought uneasiness to her. For so long, the notion had been buried deep. It wasn't until recently from the many reoccurrence dreams, she began to question it.

"Sakura." Feeling wetness soaking up his knee, Sasuke cupped the girl's face to meet him. His chest tightened seeing her, stifling a cry.

Sniff. "I didn't know who I was or where I belonged. If it wasn't for Sasori, I don't know where I would be now."

Hn. It was Sasori again but he guessed he could let it by. If it wasn't for the Devil, he wouldn't get this chance to meet Sakura. Experiencing all of this … again.

"I know."

"?" She straightened up, hand wiping the tears blurring her eyes. "You knew?"

"He told me."

"When? Was that your secretive talk?" She wondered.

"Hn…" He looked up. "Yes." And lied.

"Oh." Pout. "I bet you think I'm more pathetic now. Not knowing anything."

"No, I never did. Either way Sakura…" His hands snaked around her small waist, pulling her frame to him. "It's better like that."

"?" She hitched in a breath by their proximity.

"Because every day, every passing second from now on… You're living life with me. This will be your memory." Our memory. Fully engulfing her with his warmth, his arms let her melted into him.

Her tummy fluttered with butterflies from his words. It was all too sweet, too surreal. "Sa-sasuke-k-kun." Muffling in to his chest. She snuggled deeper, wrapping her arms around his chest. They stayed like that, all cozy up within each other. Calming beats of the hearts thumping. The air rushed up, sending scent of late spring their way.

"Mhh..Mh.."

"Hn?"

She looked up, "Thank you."

His eyebrow rose. Gazing down at her, the way her emerald eyes glimmered.

"Thank you for everything… and for today." Her hold tightened, making him stiffen a bit. "It was great. I had the best time."

"Really?" His lip thinned into a smirk. Liking the way she sunk deeper as he widened his laps.

She nodded. "It was so much fun. Didn't you have fun? I almost thought you and Sa-ooft"

"No more." He muffled her mouth from mentioning that name again.

"Mn?"

"I have my limit you know? Sasori this. Sasori that. Sakura… The only name that you should say is mine… Well. I prefer you moaning my name more."

The last sentence caused blush to color her skin crimson. Pout. "Sasuke-kun…" "Or should I remind you how I…" Slowly glidding his hand down her back.

The sudden action made her jump. She wiggled about, feeling his digits skipping down, down, down.

"Sa-sasuke-kun… don't…" She weakly pushed against his chest.

"Hn?" Liking how she struggled, such futile attempt, he moved wilder.

"Don't." Bringing her hand to the back to stop his sneaky hand from advancing toward her bottom cheeks.

He chuckled. "What now? Sakura, you took advantage of me while I was drunk yesterday."

"I did not!" She grabbed both of his hands and moved them in front of his chest. He let her.

"Oh really." Cocking his head to the side, he was amused by the way she hid her flushing cheeks. "Who … climbed on top of me? Huh?"

Baffled, she didn't know what to say. In a way, Sasuke was right… kind of.

"I could have screamed rape the way you handled me."

"But you started it." She countered.

"Uh huh. Sure. Whatever you say …" His smirk widened. "Excuses. Excuses … Sakura."

Flustered, she grabbed his wrists and covered his face with his palms. Scenes from last night replayed in her mind as well as his—more clearly in hers.

"Well then." Sasuke flipped his palms around to grab her tiny hands. Their fingers intertwined as he brought them down to their sides. "Don't you think I deserve a reward? I spend the whole day obediently behaved …no?" Leaning his head forward, closer to her, sending his harsh breath, hot and blazing, her skin tingled at the softness of its touch, caressing her neck.

Emerald blinked. Boldly, she pulled her hands out from his palm to let him wrapped his arms around her waist again to pushed her body up to cup his jaw with her dainty hands. She landed a sweet kiss to his lips.

Chu.

It was soft yet lingering but ended too soon. He wanted more. Much much more.

"That's not enough Sakura." She felt her body being lifted, his hands pulling her thighs to place them over his. Spreading his legs further apart, electrifying current jolted through his nerve as her core was placed on top of his. He couldn't wait until he stripped her bare. Such soft … soft cheeks…

Squirming, she shifted a bit, hugging his waist tighter with her thighs.

"I'm not done." And she leaned in, to grant him another one. This time, so much more dominant, a power kiss to suck his soul dried.

"!" Obsidian widened for a moment but slowly hazed with lust as he eased into the kiss, enjoying every millisecond of it.

My. My. Wasn't it mind thrilling. He was speechless. Not knowing how to react. His mind flashed white. Body troubled, unable to contain how much longer he could hold. The way her plump lips were tugging on his, nibbling it, claiming it. Such a vixen she was.

All that he could utter after she released him from the lack of air was…

"…wow…"

"Har…Har…" Her chest rose and fell sharply. It wasn't only from the lacking air but a way to hide her nervousness. Such daring move, she took, so dangerous. The way his eyes fogged, with lust covered his orbs. All it took was a kiss.

"Sakura. Sakura." Such a velvety smooth voice he used. Holding her away from him for moment to let his body composed. His eyes made risky venture to examine her choice of attire… again.

He noticed it before. He certainly noticed it more now. She was prepared. He bet. No. He knew. Yes. He knew for sure. Just look at this Angel… Wow. She wore this to provoke him. It was a matching ensemble of silky midnight blue tank top and shorts. The material hugged her body so dexterously. The dark hue made her porcelain skin shined brighter. Her hair gleamed. Emerald glossed. He sat there and stared for so long. His eyes bored into her. Hypnotized by her.

Reaching out, Sakura touched his face with her finger. Tracing his jaw line, she ran her fingertip across his lips.

He kissed it.

She pulled back a little.

He leaned forward a bit.

"That's still not enough." Dark voice whispered without warning and he attacked. Flipping the girl over, he hushed her cried with a tactical move. Their position now changed. Her back flat, slightly curved from the icy surface, as he pushed her more into the wall. Spreading her wider, he nuzzled his crotch to her, deepened their contact more and more.

"Oh… oh…oh!" Her breath hitched. Moans unrestrained.

Push.

"Ah…"

Push.

"Sas…"

Push.

The motion continued. Even with the thin materials separating their bareness, the contact of his hard pulsating member and her throbbing core was enough to make them both shuddered from impact.

"Oh…" Tiny body writhed about, jumpy as her stomach was churning with agitation. A pleasing kind.

"Saku…ugh..ra…"

Push.

His throat felt arid. Keeping his palms flat to support his torso from crushing the girl. His muscles bulging out from the spasm controlled. Sweat forming on his temple, drenching his back. Heat covered his skin, so was hers. The flimsy fabric clung to her sodden skin, emphasized the starkness underneath. Her nipples tightened from the act, fully erected. Rosy buds poking thru.

Push.

He could feel the bundle at the pit of his stomach. A little more, and it would be free.

But, he stopped. Completely halted his motion he caused the girl's body to fall toward him.

"Har har har…" They were both breathing hard, catching their breath. Both were paranoid by their unfinished climax, disturb. "Har har…" Lusty and yearning, their eyes scanned their faces, taking the visage image of each other's arousing state.

Tapping his forehead on hers, Sasuke placed his hand on her shoulders. The girl trembled by the weight of his hand. Her back curved, chest heaved as his fingers slipped from her arms to her waist. He snuck under her shirt from the bottom hem, slowly pushing it up. Up, until he reached the base of her breasts, thumbs sliding under, brushing the plumpness.

"Oooh." She groaned from his cool touch on her blazing skin. Lazily curving her neck, she rested on his chest. Breathing harshly while he fondled with her. Hands pinching, tugging her globes and its erectness. Sensual mood set locked in place. She was really moaning. Her hands buried deep in his lock, taken a tight hold of it. She tugged his hair whenever a bolt of electric shocked her spine from his touch. The way his hand groped, smothering her sensitive skin, twirling her tips.

Soft. So soft. He was like an addict on drug. He can't get enough. He needed his daily doses of her. Must have her, even a look, a touch … he needed her. Eyes glued to the way her breast bounced as he released it. Sasuke raised his face to meet her. Such a delicious sight in front of him, she looked too appetizing with her parted lips, half-lid gaze. The pain from her touch was making him excruciatingly horny.

"Sakura…" He breathed her name again.

"Sa-sasuke-kun." She replied with his.

"Oh… Sakura…" Then he resumed removing her top. Pealing the material off her scorching skin, the girl pulled back her arms from the nakedness, crossing them over her chest.

He chuckled at her action.

Kiss. A light contact on her temple, he moved down to her cheek, then planted one on her eyelid. A tap on the nose, he skipped toward her chin.

She protested, frowning—pouting. This man wouldn't stop torturing her. Her lips ached from the lacking attention.

"Sakura…" Sweet voice murmured against her lips. Pleased, she was pulled into a hardcore session. Forgetting all about the lacking attire, she threw her arms around his neck, pulling her body to deepen the kiss, enjoying, enticing every second, every senses of it.

"Ohha… Sas…" Wet tongues slapping, slipping, sliding by, they exchanged tastes from the mouth-watering kiss. It was sloppy and drenched. Liquid seeped from the corner of their mouth and neither of them cared. It was hotter like that. Licking her tongue, he loved the action he was receiving.

Hearing her whimpers but she wouldn't let go, he moved his head to her neck so she could breathe before passing out from the lack of air. Showering her skin with hungry kiss, he tasted every exposed area of her neck and shoulder.

"Oooh…" So hard to contain, goose bumps appeared on her skin. Pulling down her hand, she grabbed his hips. Giggling when his stomach tightened, sucking in, out of reaction from her touch.

"Sak." He was begging for more, for her to touch him more.

She complied. Shyly surveying his chest as she brought them up, raising his shirt in the process.

Getting her clue, he moved back and quickly getting rid of his shirt. It was thrown somewhere down the hallway that he could care less of, because his full attention was on this Angel and this Angel only.

"Mmmh…" His chest, hard and chisel, made her fingers tingled where ever she touched. Hard yet smooth.. It was … wow…

"Like what you see?" He teased. She pouted.

Chuckling, his hand lifted her chin. He gazed down upon the fluster face again before crashing her lips with his own.

They started another fiery indulging kiss. hen he began his venture—from her lips to her jaw, he kissed his way down the center of her neck, down the valley of her breasts. He didn't forget to give a teasing pinch before hooking his hand under the band of her shorts and panty. With one smooth motion, he removed it all. Leaving her bare, naked…for him.

Flustered, she felt exposed. A bit bothered by the way he was holding her knees apart, kneeling low in front of her, his head between her thighs. The sequential pattern of his breath fanning her core was … tantalizing. She bucked her hips a little from the timidity wanting to close her legs, covering up her dripping wet, engorging lips from him. Her conscious was slipping away as the time he took to stare at her folds was increasing.

Suddenly, he placed a soft kiss.

"!" She sharply bent her knees, curled her toes, and scratched the floorboard.

Lick. A slow and shallow pace…Lick.

Lick.

Tongue tasting the surface, his nose filled with her aroma. It was strong and sweet. So much was leaking, he couldn't lap it all.

Lick. Lick. Lick.

His pace quickened. Then…

"AHH!" She felt his tongue digging deep, flicking her clit.

Lick. Lick.

"AH!...AHH!...Ooh..! UUU!...AHuh…" She couldn't control at all. Her hip was moving on its own, buckling into his face. She wrapped her legs around his neck, crossing them over his back.

Lick. Suck!

"Oh!" He was frenching her folds. Kissing it. Licking it with madden pace.

She couldn't keep up. Her chest rose and fell sporadically. Feeling pleasure as well as a slight pain from the way he gripped her thighs to keep her from choking him.

"OOH!"

Slurp. Slurp. Slurp.

Loud resonance of their act hummed her ears. But all that he heard was her loud moaning. Screaming of his name.

"SASUKE-KUN…. OH…. Plea….se…Oh…. ah…please…" She was begging. Bashing her head against the wall, the intensity was screwing her mind and not long after her piercing cry…

Lick.

"GAH!"

Hotness washed from her system, pouring to the awaiting mouth from which he lapped up every drop.

"Har. Har. Har." Spent, she leant back and loosened her legs around his shoulders.

Leaning up, her cum was dripping from his lip, down his jaw. "Delicious." The only word he said before closing in again. Covering her lips, cutting off her air, he shared the scrumptious taste with her.

While they were kissing like there was no tomorrow. This mischievous little Angel made her move. Discreetly pulling on his pants, she tugged his waistband straps free.

"?!" Feeling her hand playing with his pants, "Sakura." He warned her.

"Mhm…mhmm…" She could only let out a stream of incoherent words as he kissed her again.

He pulled back. "Hn?"

"No reward?" Shy, this girl was playing with fire.

Surprise, he wanted to bang his head against the wall to test if this was a dream. Making sure, he looked down again to see if she was drunk.

Nope.

Stark naked, she was between his legs. Her hand was dangerously placed very near his...cough. 'How to answer her' was the question? Should he tell her, what he just did was it—all he wanted for his reward… or … hmmm … nah… Since this time, she started it. Lifted his hip as a motion for her to help him remove his pants, Sasuke was pretty darn ecstatic He couldn't wait until it was completely off. Hastily grabbing her arms, he pulled her body up to laid completely on his before dropping to the floor on his back. His legs kicked away the pants and boxer in the process.

"Uhm." Their bodies hazardously made contact. Every motion they made would send mind pleasing pleasure to their brains.

"So." His arms moved up to fold under his head. He laid there in all his glory with an all too familiar smirk on his face. "How are you going to reward me?"

Blush. "Uh…" She rolled her eyes, looking around, slowly climbing to sit back up on his waist. That slick trail of wetness was pooling on his skin.

"No need to rush." He continued. "We have all night."

Okay. She started to fidget. It was nothing like yesterday. Sasuke was sober, awake, and currently staring straight at her with his lusty orbs. Biting her lips, she was helpless. And Sasuke was enjoying it. Seeing her clutching his waist, sitting there naked. The dimmed light accentuated her body curvatures. Her skin glistened from the sweat.

Fuck. He wanted to do it so bad. Absolutely submerge him into her, rocking their body in mind numbing motion. His poor member was twitching hard. Painfully hard.

"Uhm…" Still thinking, she glanced around the dark hall way. Finally decided, Sakura crawled off him to her destination.

Obsidians followed her moving body. Tongue licked his upper lip seeing her backside. So, she found his shirt—now what? His mind puzzled not knowing what this Angel had up her sleeve. Until she came back with it stretched in her hand. Bondage? The idea popped in his head as she reached up. Yeeeeeeeeesssss! His mind cheered. Wait.Damn it.

"What are you doing Sakura?" Realized she was covering his head with his shirt instead.

"Uh … putting a blindfold on you."

"For-" His lips were shushed. His sight blocked off. Feeling her finger, he complied her silent request with a kiss.

A long good minute that seemed like eternity to him, Sasuke lay in completely stillness. Feeling vulnerable by this act. It was HOT! Helz was he horny.

"Fuu~~" Her innocent breath was making his skin tensed ten times than usual. The sudden touch of her lips, he can sensed that she was retracing that trail of his—starting from his chin. Kissing up, slowly, unsure at first but she continued.

His nose wiggled from the teasing kiss, wanting to turn his head to catch her lips. Since his eyes were covered. She improvised by kissing his ear lob, nibbling it.

"Ahaaa…" His throat tightened, chest expanding. Her hand smothered, massaging his tensed muscle. The other under his neck, tickling it. Lips hardly parted his skin. She lightly varied her pressure. Soft and superficial, strong and deep. Sasuke's mind was exploding from guessing her next move.

Since each move was so much better than the last. Her nails were scratching his skin, nipples grazing over his rib as she continued her trail of kiss down his neck to his collarbone

Where was his hand? It was stupidly clawing the floor. Beginning to search blindly for her, his finger made contact with her velvet skin.

"Don't." She harshly breathed out, stopping his hand from palming her butt. Grabbing it, both of it.

He obediently followed her request and settled it down. She wanted the full control. "Urgh…" Swallowing a hard gulp down his throat. She returned her little journey down his chest. Lower.

Lower.

Lower.

Lower.

Then she stopped.

"…!" The fuck. He wanted to fling off the stupid blindfold. But all thoughts gone, when her fingertip made contact with his throbbing member.

BAM! That was the sound of him banging his head on the floor. It hurt like helz. That meant, he wasn't dreaming.

Sakura looked up at the squirming man in question why he just did that. Seeing his lips mumbled curses from the pain. She giggled.

"Sakura." He warned her again when he felt her touch on his tip. "Please." Then full out begged for the girl's mercy. He was like a fish out of the pond under her control. Spreading his arms, his nail was scratching, clawing the floor. His hip buckled as her finger slid down his tall length. As if studying his member, her hand carefully fondled it. "Please." He was really begging. Mouth opened, his back curved sharply. Another hand was applied and they began to work wonders on him. Feeling his member being tugged and pulled. "Oah…" His fist pounding the floor hard.

Pull.

Push.

"Faster." He gasped for air. Pulling his knees up, his toe knuckles were white.

She complied. Testing each motion and the way he squirmed and begged. Seeing Sasuke like that was … amusing, so opposite of his usual appearance.

His senses wholly gone astray.

Pull.

Push.

So wet and slippery, her hands were covered in his pre-cum, making the motion more fluid. Even with the blindfold, his eyes were flashing white. So close to the edge, he held his breath when her thumb rubbed the head in circular motion. Back and forth. Back and forth. Slowly then quicken, his member was convulsing as she stroke it up and down.

The sensation heighten when her other hand palm his balls. Shyly touching it—he could tell. The way her hands were shaken a bit through out the act. His sensitivity detected everything.

Pull.

Push.

He was there at the brink of no return.

Pull.

Push.

It was twisting and churning. His limit was overbearing. Then finally letting it go…

"!"… like a cannon.

Emeralds curiously watched as his muscle contracted and released. Seeing the murky liquid shoot from his tip with force, oozing from the small opening. It covered his length with glaze. "Har. Har. Har." He was still floating as his breath returned. Satisfied, all aching tension of body was released. Hot and sweaty, he reached up to remove the baggy shirt from his head.

He was yet again shocked for the—who cared how many—times. Leaning up on his elbows to see the playful Angel sitting provocatively between his legs. Her eyes were examining a very 'translucent' liquid on her fingers. Slowly he followed her movement. Breath held tight as she brought it up to her lips, tongue tasting it.

"So. How does it taste? Good?" Smirk. His sudden voice made the girl jumped a foot off the ground. She fell back staring at him staring at her. Emerald widened.

"Gah! Sasuke-kun!"

[...]

Calming night, it was. The moon was lingering, lazing above to shine soothing rays of light. Cloudless, the sky was high. Stillness brought serenity to calming souls, deep in slumber.

Except for one…

His body was heavy, not because of the soft body that was using his torso as replacement for a pillow but of chaotic thoughts that were weighing his mind, keeping him from joining the Angel in dreamland. Currently lying on their bed, big fluffy comforter covered their bare skins from the midnight drafting air.

"…" With one hand folded under his head, the other sweetly wrapped around the girl's shoulder. His chest rose a consoling pattern, slow and gentle. However, his mind was in a turmoil mess. Obsidian stared into nothingness of the pit black room. He couldn't help it but reliving the past weeks in his head. Those jokes he mentally made, of it all being a dream, just came crashing down upon him.

What if it truly was all just a mirage? If everything were to disappear once, he opened his eyes in the morning. What would happen then? Would everything be the same as it was before or now? Without his Angel, what would happen to him?

The most important question in need of answer, however, was actually…

What had happened to him—ever since she came?

A lot. It seemed.

"Mmmmh…" His thought was disturbed. Feeling the girl nuzzled her head deeper to his chest, in search of his heartbeat. He pulled his eyes from the darkness to rest upon her. Pink laces spread all over his torso, her dainty arms embraced his body. Uncovered skins smothered against each other. Her soft, smooth body was molding to him, making him shuddered from the contact. He thought. No one, none, had ever given him the feeling of absolute. She fitted so perfectly to him despite her tiny form. As if his limps and figure were created to cover her, support her.

Everything was just right…

Gentle eyes, with an exceptional smile, he combed her hair. So much Sakura. There's so much…

Of things, he wanted to tell her, listen from her. He even wanted to shake the girl awake just so that he could commence the task. But he stopped his act and caught himself in time… Really? What happened to me?

Puzzled, he was annoyed from the inability to answer such an obvious question.

"!"

"mmhhh…Mmmmhhh." Sakura suddenly lifted her head to turn around toward the shady room. Sasuke could only lay there in amusement as the girl, with her closed eyes, trying to scan the room—as if she was wondering, where she was.

"?" He kept still, not moving an inch. Following the girl's movement, he watched as she lay back down on his chest, pulled her body a little further up to rest her head in the crook of his neck. Not long after, her relaxing breath told him she was again deep asleep. And he should be too.

His mind was truthfully wearied from thinking all night.

Sleep didn't wait on him. It carried his now weightless body to join the carefree Angel to the unfamiliar dreamworld.

Ah.

o-o-o-o-o

"Good afternoon Mrs. Uchiha." A coffee store waitress joked as Sakura walked by.

"Miko-chan, please don't address me like that." Sakura stood by the open café area, talking in merriment with the neighboring acquaintances.

"Soon or later it'll happen." The short brown hair woman gave her a winked. She was quite familiar with the dark hair proprietor of the apartment building down the block. He used to often stop by her café occasionally after his morning run. But apparently not so much in the past weeks. Since his morning-meal was well prepared by this young maiden.

Blush. She stood awkwardly shying her body in front of the lady. Sakura had been walking around enough to be well known by the store owners and staff of the small high-class shopping strip in the surrounding block. Taking small strolls from time to time, she would make trips to the fresh market for ingredients.

"Hey. It's only the matter of time. What are you making today?" Knowing the girl would later walk by with groceries in hands.

She happily replied. Spending a little time to talk with the waitress before resuming her walk, she felt the sun was brighter and the day clearer. Fresh scent of incoming summer was hovering in the air.

Walking in to the small market, she strolled along the fresh produce section. The store was not big but adequate. Fitted with the surrounding, it was filled with luxury. The best and freshest of everything.

"Good day." Her voice chimed and she bid her leave. Seeing the sun over the top, it was close to late afternoon. He should be home soon.

Her step still lingered. Taking her time, blending with the passing moving bodies of the crowd, it still foreign to her. Living this life. Lips curled up with a smile. It is wonderful to live.

"Sakura-nee-chan." A boyish voice called out to her.

She turned around to meet the happy face of Ryu.

"Ryu?" Exclaimed in excitement to see the boy. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in school?"

"We have an early dismissal today. I'm running an errand for Grandma." Holding up a receipt slip, it indicated that he was sent to pay a payment. "Do you need help?" Seeing Sakura's hand was occupied with bags.

"It's alright thank you."

"I can help!" He insisted.

She giggled and gave him the smallest bag. They resumed walking the same path until the park's entrance.

"Sakura chan. I can't wait until Summer time! Grandpa said we would take a vacation to Kyoto. That's where my family from!"

"Oh. Really? That's nice. Have you been there before?" She leaned her head down.

"Uh uh." Shaken his head.

"Have you?"

"Nope. But I heard it's beautiful. You get to visit many cool places." Seeing the boy's brighten face. "You know… I think Kyoto is best for …"

"Miss Sakura."

Hearing her name, the Angel turned around. In wonder whom it was, from the distinguishable yet unknowing voice.

"Miss Hana." Completely surprise to see the woman standing before her, Sakura was speechless. Emerald blinking, she slowly nodded her head in salutation. The black hair woman returned the act before she straightened up with a smile.

"May I have a talk with you?" She said, as her eyes made a quick contact with Ryu and returned to the pinkette.

Punch. G'night guys.
