A/N To everyone who stuck by me keeping me on as their Fav/Follows. I sincerely thank you for not giving up on me :)

I have a Pinterst, link attached to my profile. It's not the best but hopefully giving you some idea to what's going on in my head while typing. :-)

Thanks

CPOV

Sinking into seat of my SUV, sometimes this car seat feels like a second home. Tugging my bow-tie loose and undoing the top couple buttons of my dress-shirt. I need to shake off my unsettling evening. "Taylor I want to stop by the Tiki Lounge." Without saying a word I can hear Taylor typing into the GPS. "Taylor don't worry about the address it's Belltown on Third Avenue."

I can't see Taylor's eyes when he speaks. "Sir what sort of establishment is the Tiki Lounge?"

Not sure how to answer, a half-smile finds itself on my face "It's an establishment that Elliot would be found utilizing."

without missing a beat Taylor hits a number on his phone "Sawyer, I want your to wake Mason from his girlie slumber. Have him man the monitors and you are to meet us at Tiki Lounge on Third Avenue." pausing for a few seconds "Yes, that's right. Dress like a local, I don't want you standing out." disconnecting the call I can't help sighing at Taylor and his sense of security.

"Taylor it's unnecessary and over-the-top. Hipsters aren't looking to Off Me, they're just looking to let off steam with a beer or two. It's not like meeting with heads-of-state."

"Sir I am head security, it's my job to see you are protected even if you perceive no threat. This establishment, like many in Belltown are watering-holes lacking VIP sections. Not offering much in the way of security other than a bouncer or two and maybe a bar-back."

About the time I was going to go off on Taylor, he gets a call. "Mason... you're on monitors until further notice." hanging up the phone I hear Taylor grumbling just beneath his breath.

Easing back into the leather seat, leaning my head against the headrest closing my eyes, images of Ana dart around. I should have known the moment I laid eyes on her, when she didn't turn around for a second glance that morning on campus, she was everything up until that point I avoided. Not submissive or looking to be rescued. My existence, my carefully structured world has been up-ended and I can't exorcise her.

Taylor made quick time of the drive from Redmond to downtown Seattle. By the time we reach the Tiki, Sawyer was already out front. Shaking my head at how quickly Taylor can make his men jump.

Once we passed the door man, I hear a song that's finishing, noticing Ana onstage and the crowd clapping. Fuck I missed it. Further inside I see Ana playfully bowing, turning toward the musicians, raising her hands and clapping in appreciation. I wished I had paid attention to what was being played. She's in those delicious nude heels from yesterday. With the dress she's wearing tonight it makes her legs look incredibly long. Smiling. Gotta hand it to Ana she's got her own sense of style. This outfit looks like something you'd find from an Austin Powers movie: the swinging 60's. Her hair, straight as a board pulled tight into a ponytail, wearing a pair of chandelier earrings. Oozing a retro vibe, looking quite fetching. Before Ana can make her way off the small stage some guy comes up to her asking her something, shaking her head, again talking to her. Whatever is being said she's not interested and starts walking away. Watching him fish out his wallet trying to hand her a card, no doubt with his phone number. Ana shakes her head continuing towards the bar. That's right prick, you're not her type

Scanning the space for Elliot I notice there are various types of people here yet they all seem to know one another, I'm guessing this is where actors and musicians come to network and hang-out.

Ah, there he is. Shit! seeing none other than Kate Kavanagh. Fucking hell, guess that explains Ana's comment.

Walking up to Elliot "I made it." greeting Ben and Kate "How is everyone this evening?"

Ben quickly responds "I'm good Christian. Looks as if you just left a fundraiser. Gawd I hope it was for charity and not for some conservative politician."

cutting Ben a small smile. "Yes, charity fundraiser."

I think Ben knows why I'm here. "Christian first beer's on me. Space Dust IPA alright?"

"That sounds great Ben, thanks."

hearing Elliot singing out my name "Oh Chrrrisssstian... you just missed Ana performing." attaching a shit eating grin on his face to his own little performance.

Narrowing my eyes. "Gathered as much Elliot."

There's a vibe Kate's giving off that I find alarming "Christian, aren't you a little overdressed for the venue?"

Yep, my hunches are spot on. Averting my eyes off Ana momentarily who's standing at the bar talking with a few people.

Dead panning "Miss Kavanagh I could say the same about your attire."she wearing one of the awful bandage dresses that are so common-place.

Not bothering to see Kate's reaction, my eyes go back to Ana as she walks toward us. Then out of nowhere some guy grabs her by the arm yanking hard.

Hearing Elliot saying something: tuning him out, I take off towards Ana. Within a few steps I'm standing next to her.

Putting my arm around her shoulder "Ana, is this guy bothering you?"

The expression on Ana's is nothing short of fear. Realizing that I shouldn't have put my arm around her. Looking startled and wild-eyed, it took her a moment in realizing it was me. Quickly removing my arm.

The guy clutching Ana sounding slightly inebriated "Back the fuck off."

A few inches shorter to my 6'3, I easily take on my Dom stance, looking down at him growling "I'd advise you to take your hand off Ana." As I'm saying this Ana's twisting her arm trying to dislodge his grip.

Sounding overly confident "You don't know what Ana and I have. She's just being difficult right now, so fuck off and leave us alone."

Grabbing his wrist that's latched on Ana's arm squeezing it tight. "I said... Get your fucking hand off Ana. Right. Now!" with that he drops his hold on her and starts rubbing his wrist. Pulling Ana closer to me, while turning her away from him. Staring at him head on pointing my index finger at him "If I so much as see you near Ana again, you'll find yourself regretting those actions." and with that I turn ushering her toward Ben, Elliot and Kate.

Looking down at Ana the urge to demand answers are matched with my inability to keep my mouth shut "Do you want to explain to me who that guy was and why you two have history?"

Stopping cold in her tracks. "Christian I'm not your damsel in distress, I could have handled it. Plus what makes you think you're owed an explanation?"

Gently pulling Ana to the side placing my arms on each side bar's rail, so that her back is to it and has to face me. I'm not believing the words that spilled out of her mouth. Leaning down, hissing in her ear "Are you fucking crazy? This guy had your arm in a death grip and you want to bitch at me for coming to your aide? So tell me Miss Badass, how would you had handled it? And as far the history or whatever the fuck you two had, you're right it's none of my business so forget I fucking asked." this was not how I thought my conversation with Ana would begin tonight.

rubbing her temples, Ana looks up at me "Christian, you're right. I'm sorry for snapping. You were trying to help. Thank you for getting Billy off my back."

Ana's eyes say it all. She looks miserable and probably freaked out by having unwanted hands on her, mine included. "Ana when I put my arm around you, I realized that it only compounded your anxiety. It was the incorrect move to make, I shouldn't have touched you." looking at her arm "Are you okay? Is your arm hurting? Having such pale skin, I wouldn't be surprised if he left you bruised."

Nodding, glancing at her arm "If I bruise and Dad sees it at Graduation, popping his fuse will only be the start."studying my face "Exactly, why are you here?"

"Elliot sent a text saying you were going to sing Bossa nova and he invited me to hear you sing. Unfortunately, I missed it."

without saying a word Ana takes my elbow leading me back to the table. Sitting next to Ben and me next to her, Kate takes no time picking up on Ana's distress. Leaning forward, perhaps not to make a spectacle of herself in front of Elliot who is busy sketching something on a napkin with some guy.

Kate nearly spitting her words, "Grey you show up, and within a few minutes you manage to upset Ana." as her eyes narrow "Leave. Her. Alone."

Looking at Kate I see hate in her face, not really caring why she's behaving towards me like that unless, Ana said something which I immediately reject. In my short time in knowing her, there's one thing I've learned about Ana, she's not a talker.

Not in the mood to indulge her boorish behavior "Don't worry about it Kate." which apparently fueled her anger.

"How dare you tell me" using air quotes. "'don't worry about it'."

Ana sounding eerily calm "Kate, I don't know what gives you the impression that Christian's arrival is upsetting, unless it's something you're projecting. Whichever way your thoughts are leaning, I suggest you stop using your arrogant, judgmental tone before knowing all the facts." shaking her head "Kate, you really should get a handle on things before jumping to conclusions." hmmmm sounds like something happened between those two

All I hear is Ben shouting "SNAP!" which distracts Elliot with Ben waving him off.

Ana continues "Kate, the reason I'm upset is that Billy is here. And I'm glad Christian was here to get him off my back."

Kate looking thoroughly chastised "Ana, I'm sorry I didn't know."

Glancing over at Ben, he's is scanning the lounge as if on High Alert.

Ana not quite done and isn't going to let her comments slide "Kate, it's not me who's owed an apology, it's Christian."

Begrudgingly Kate attempts a half-hearted apology. Taking a pull from my beer, I really don't give a shit about that twit. I'm wanting to talk to Ben, he seems to have a heads-up as to that asshole.

Leaning in "Ana, please switch seats with Ben" ignoring my request, I look over to Ben "Hey Ben let's get another beer."

"Christian I don't know why you need another beer" lifting the bottle by the neck giving a little swirl "this one's half full." Jesus. Ana's on a roll tonight yet I can't help giving a little smile. Ha! Even pissed she's a 'glass half-full' person.

She knows I'm going to pump Ben for information about Billy. Frankly if she wasn't acting so damned stubborn she might realize I'm only looking out for her safety.

"If you must know Miss Steele, I'm going to grab a couple pitchers of beer and some glasses which would be impossible to carry myself."

Catching Ana rolling her eyes at me, okay not so much catch, as she clearly intended for me to see. "So now I'm Miss Steele, huh?"

Fucking Christ, Ana's pushing my buttons. There's nothing I wouldn't love more at this moment than taking her over my knee spanking her bottom until she apologizes and for added good measure, spank her a few more times until she gets it threw her thick head that I'm only trying to help.

Grabbing Ben by his t-shirt, Ana starts whispering in his ear. You can see that Ben is not in the mood for Ana's little meltdown. Watching as Ben and Ana start going at it, he's not backing down. If anything, he's putting his foot down. Jabbing his index finger on the table as if to stress his point. Ben's personality is laid-back, kinda like Elliot only see this snapshot of him... Stern, protective, hard-nosed: taking zero shit from Ana. Looking defeated, she's gone quiet having her arms crossed over her chest.

Feeling my phone vibrate. I see a text from Taylor saying he's on Billy ass. Gotta hand it to Taylor, knowing the next move before it's even spoken.

Sending a quick reply

~~Keep your eye on that Asshole I don't want him near Ana~~

~~I want Sawyer to shadow. NOW!~~

Making our way to the bar, before I can say anything Ben is quick to speak while not taking his eyes of Ana, "Look Christian the only reason I'm talking is because you came to Ana's defense. What I will say is no one took Billy seriously. Ana insisted he was just some guy who's part of the Seattle scene, never giving him a second thought. I kept telling her that I never see him anywhere. That its only when she's in town. He never really tried talking to her, that is until last weekend. Billy was at Club Europa the night Ana DJ'd. When he saw me, he was pleading that I bring Ana to him since he couldn't gain access to the VIP section. Saying he needed to speak with her. I told him to Fuck Off. Later that night Abel and I resorted to sneaking Ana out of the club. I was relieved to know Uncle Ray was staying with her because if he wasn't, she would have come home with us. Jane's security kept an eye on Billy until closing. Then we followed him on foot. At least we know where he lives. Actually it's only a few blocks from Europa."

I have this lump in my throat, feeling ill at ease thinking it was the same night we had our own little confrontation "So Ana knew Billy was there Saturday night?"

shaking his head "She didn't have a clue. When she mentioned going out tonight, I got this pit in my stomach. Realizing withholding this information was a bad idea. I was just trying not to worry her. I should have told her immediately what happened at Europa instead of waiting until today."

"How did Ana take the news?"

chuckling yet not finding humor "She was pissed that I didn't inform her right, away ripping me a new one. Followed by going off on a rant: saying she must having a blinking sign etched across her forehead that says Stalk Me along with secreting some sort of pheromone that only attracts Nut-Jobs."

Hearing what Ben said makes me feel two inches tall. Not only had I stalked her to Club Europa, I acted like an arrogant prick, treating her like shit. Ana was the recipient of a one-two punch that night though she found that bit out later this evening. What must she be thinking? Tonight she dealt the same blow, only this time it's head on. Shaking my head the only difference between Billy and me is our masks. Underneath my money, face, body, and expensive tastes, I'm just another piece of shit loser who in no uncertain terms is incompetent when it comes to social graces and profoundly clueless. I watch as Ana gives Ben and me, I'm guessing her best death glare she can muster.

"Christian what the hell happened when you ran interference? What was he doing. What did he say?"

I really don't want to talk to Ben any longer, all I want is to get Ana out of here but I owe him for opening up about the shit that's been going down. I dread knowing that what I'll say is bound to upset him.

"He had her by the arm, mentioning they had a past, and at the moment Ana was being difficult." feeling Ben's hostility radiating "Ben let me add I have a two Security Personnel here who are keeping an eye on Ana as we speak. The one in a tux is Taylor, he's head of security" pointing towards him "And the other, Sawyer is to our left wearing jeans and a leather jacket." jutting my jaw towards Sawyer who is standing a few feet from Billy. I'm glad he dressed down, blending nicely with the crowd. "Sawyer will shadow him and the team will pick up where he leaves off gathering information until I'm satisfied we have everything there is to know about him. Now if you have no objections I think we should get her out of here."

seeing the relief on Ben's face "Good... yes...thanks."

looking down as I type on my blackberry "Do you remember Billy's address?"

"Yes I do. Lower Queen Anne, 555 Valley St. I don't know the apartment number"

nodding as I continue typing "It's a great start. Not to worry Ben, like I said, Billy will be shadowed. There's no way he's coming near Ana." pausing for a moment "Here's what I think we should do. You two leave with Taylor. I'll follow a few minutes behind you. We could go to my place, I've got 24/7security and also plenty of bedrooms. Ana will be safe there." when finishing my texts I look over at Ana and boy she looks pissed "Jesus Ben, if looks could kill I think Ana would have ended us."

Ben catches Ana's glare actually laughs. Thank god I've managed at least put one person at ease if only for a moment.

APOV

I can't take much more of this excitement. As the saying goes, if it weren't for bad luck I'd have none at all. Nutjobs and Psychos, gotta hand it to you Steele... you sure know how to attract men. First Billy, then Christian showing up. Add the audacity of questioning me. I mean just who the hell does he think he is. Only to see Ben and Christian huddling at the bar gossiping like a couple tweeners while I'm sure Billy's ogling me from the bar. I'm so pissed I'm fit to be tied. Thankfully Ben and Christian come back empty handed which I'm relieved to see. This means leaving sooner than later.

All the while the boys have been chatting I've been stealing glances of Kate and Elliot: I'm envious of the rituals that somehow have evaded me when it comes to men. The act of organically meeting, talking, a little flirting, getting to know someone naturally. It's like coming upon a car crash and I'm rubbernecking. I can't stand to watch yet I can't look away.

Killing off the rest of my Lemon Drop, as Ben and Christian take their seats Kate leans towards me "Ana, Elliot and I wanna go to Neighbors. Come on let's go."

"Kate I thought we would call it a night, you know. I'd rather not hang here much longer considering Billy's here." the last thing I want is to be heading up to Cap Hill, facing the possibility that he'll follow me.

The expression on Kate's face says it all, she's not keen on my idea and clearly wants to spend more time partying with Elliot. "Ana don't be a party pooper, I want to go dancing."

No mention of Billy from her and as per usual it's Dump Ana Time Holding my hand up "Kate, just go. I'll see you later."

"Are you sure? I mean, I'll stay with you if you really need me to." I see how she wants me to respond.

pushing her comment away "No Kate I'm fine. Go have your fun."

with a grin stretching across her face leaning over to me "I'm sure Christian will take you home. He really seems into you." raising her eyebrows in a playful way

What I feel like shouting is.. Don't you GET IT Billy is here. I want to go home and not alone. How fucking convenient for you to mention Christian. One minute you jump down his throat the next he's an excuse to get rid of me.

Starting to clap, moving her hips side to side in her chair. I'm quick to shut Kate down, hissing. "Stop it, you're acting like seal that's escaped SeaWorld." I'm smarting by how she's failing me deeply as a friend. Hell a few days ago she was acting like the world had collapsed on her, lashing out at me or anyone that was in her path. She drove up here to spend time with me and now look at her...not a care in the world having found fresh meat.

Desperate to leave "Ben, I'm down for the count. Kate and Elliot are going to Neighbors. Would you please take me home?"

"Yes let's get out of here. First we need to go over a few things..."

After the details that are laid out, I'm not going to complain. At least Ben is with me.

CPOV

Other than thanking me a couple times for putting Sawyer on Billy case, Ana's not talking much.

After a quick detour to her apartment for an overnight bag, which Ben rejects the offer to stop at his place, the three of us are sitting in the back of the SUV. For the life of me I don't understand Ana's insistence on bringing the box of left over pizza with her. I have plenty of food at Escala.

Stepping off the Elevator Taylor grabs Ana's backpack while explaining to Ben the first bedroom upstairs to the left is his and that Ana will be next door. Excusing myself, I quickly change into jeans and white t-shirt.

Walking toward the kitchen I hear Ana rambling to Ben as if giving bullet points.

"I don't know how Billy finds me. He doesn't have my number so he can't ping my phone. I have a Facebook account though never update my personal page, plus I have privacy parameters in place. I don't get the sensation he's having me followed. He's never, at least to my knowledge, shown his face at on campus or Club Io. He has to be getting information from someone who knows you, me or both of us." letting out a sigh "Jesus my adrenaline is still tweaking."

Inhaling loudly Ben starts in, speaking his peace. "Sweetie I know you don't want to hear this but you need to distance yourself from Kate. You needed her tonight. That was obvious and the only thing that was running through her mind was getting laid. This is not to knock against Elliot he doesn't know what's going on. What I'm willing to bet is that if we had decided to enlighten him as to events, he'd be here with us right now. Whereas Kate knows better, she offered nothing, then again Kate has always been about Kate and is driven by her own desires. Look sweetie, I know you two have been friends for years but Ana you're Loyal to a fault. You need to get with the program, open your eyes to her selfish and destructive behavior ways. Need I remind you what happened in Goa and the fallout between the family and her? She's a risk player who at one time or another has placed everyone around including herself in danger."

sounding exasperated "Ben, not now"

"Yes Ana right now. You need the fear of god put in you like, it was for me tonight. Ana I was horrified by what Christian told me. Whatever this obsession he has with you his patience is tapped-out replaced by desperation and aggression that is rapidly escalating. Believe me when I say sincerely failed you by not immediately divulging what occurred between Billy and I at Europa. The scene that keeps going over in my head, what if Christian nor I had not been there and Kate left? This nightmare keeps replaying on a loop. What if rather than grabbing at you in the bar, he laid in wait until you were alone outside. He could have abducted, raped or even worse killed you? Ana look at your arm, you're bruising. This guy is not fucking around."

Ana's voice she sounds small "Awww dammit"

"Ana when you sat at table Kate was quick to attack Christian, as you said, without having the facts. Let's not forget her famous follow-up by calling you a party pooper for wanting to leave, showing no concern that Billy was here. She didn't even care or mention him. What the hell kind of friend does that? As for me, I learned a very important lesson. I count my blessing nothing happened." sounding choked-up "I don't know how I would have been able to live with myself because of some ridiculous notion that by not telling you, I as somehow protecting you. I'm grateful Christian was there having immediate resources to shadow Billy.

I don't want you to answer this, I only want you to think about the times Kate left you in a bar only to make your way home alone while she runs off to fuck some stranger."

I hear Ana quietly crying for a few minutes as Ben comforts her. Talking gently "So AnaBanana whatcha gonna do?"

"Pull myself up by the boot-straps. Not let Billy take power away from me. Move on from Kate."

"Look how smart you are, Little Shit"

hearing Ana giggle. "Oh those words takes me back. God, you were such an asshole to me as a kid."

"That's very true Ana and we both remember when that came to an end. Crystal Mountain..."

"We were at Mt Hood Meadows."

pausing

"That's right. I stand corrected. Uncle Ray had been teaching you how to ski over the course of a couple months and this was a family gathering, a powwow."

"So getting back to how I remember the story." hearing Ana laughing "I was fourteen, so you would have been eleven years old. I remember teasing you mercilessly. Kept calling you Little Shit, that is, when no adults were around. Was it the second day there. Papi Lambert and Uncle Ray went the lodge to buy hot cocoa while we stood around waiting. I remember we had just taken off our skies, leaning them again the rail. Looking around I made sure they were gone, deciding calling you 'Little Shit' was in order. I thought I was so clever that once again I got away with cussing with the bonus of also taunting you. Then out of the blue you went all Babe Ruth my ass whacking me across the back of my thighs. Demanding that I stop calling you Little Shit or that I would be given a beat-down with my own ski. Gawd I was in pain and humiliated. The resort was packed with people and those within earshot were laughing! I remember Leo laughing his ass off Yelling "Benji you just got Bbbbbburned" and you know how I hate being called Benji. When I conceded, you clever Little Shit put my ski back next to its partner and acted as if nothing happened. I was still on my hands and knees when Uncle Ray and Papi Lambert returned with our drinks, asking us what the hell was going on. I kept my mouth shut, you kept you mouth shut and Leo not wanting to touch that shit with a ten foot pole skied away. Gotta tell ya Little Shit, all that time with Uncle Ray in the batting cage paid off!"

hearing them both laughing harder

Ana to this day, I have yet to encounter as many yardsales and face plants while on the slopes as when you were learning. You have never been a two-planker. Seriously Ana, how was it you could turn right but not left?"

between Ana laughing. "I remember you calling me Zoolander and everyone laughing, including Dad!"

Ben playfully crying out in a high pitched shrill "Dad...Dad I can't do it. I can't turn left! I can't turn left! Then you'd splat, hitting the snow!"

Ana laughing hard "I remember feeling left out of the 'inside joke'. When we got back into town Leo snuck me in to see the movie. It was funny but was irked at you for giving me that nickname."

hearing that I cover my mouth to keep from laughing out loud. That's fucking hilarious.

Hearing Ana almost shouting "Quit trying to catwalk and I swear to God Ben don't you dare try pulling your underwear out of your pants."

"That was that day we became a united front. Mind you, it also the same day I switched to snowboarding. Can you believe Dad still calls me a Knuckledragging Mountain Menace."

"After all these years? You must be be joking!?"

"Oh Ana if anything happened to you..."

"Stop it Ben."

doing a 180 degrees on their conversation Ben says "You know AnaBanana I think Christian wouldn't have put his men on the job unless he liked you. After all he showed up in a tux, I think he was trying to catch you singing."

"Pshaw. Christian would have done this for anyone." noticing she ignored the rest of Ben's comment.

"Even Kate?"

after a slight pause"Well, she hasn't been very civil with him but Yes, I do. He doesn't want to see people hurt. He may be fucked in the head but he's got a good heart."

I'm stunned Ana would say this out loud yet under the circumstances finding myself allowing leeway.

Hearing Ben chuckling "Oh sweetie you know that the heart and the head are usually at odds with one another. I personally think as a species we're all fucked in the head."

"Oh Ben, I can't agree with you more."

"I hate you Ben"

"I hate you too Little Shit. Now get you ass upstairs, change your clothes, find Christian and let's eat some left-over pizza." slamming his fists on the island "And for god sakes there must a place around here a man can get a drink. Where the hell has Christian been anyway?"

"I don't know where he is. In the mean time, let me lead you to the oasis you desperately seek."

by the time I caught the last bit of their conversation I'm down the hall near my study. Absentmindedly opening emails. I'm in the act of looking busy should Ben seek me out. After a couple minutes I realize I left my phone in the bedroom, I make my way there. I've missed a few texts from Sawyer. Knowing if it was needing my immediate response Taylor would have come for me. I open them to see the status. Sawyer texted that Billy left Tiki when Ana left with Ben. He's back at his apartment. He has the make of car and plate numbers. No apartment number. No last name. Making my way to the Taylor and as always on the ball. "Sir I've forwarded this information to Welch."

"Thank you Taylor. I want Mason to switch places with Sawyer. When Sawyer returns, you call it a night. Make sure he keeps CCTV Audio and Video in the main apartment off. Only points of entry live. Make sure that Mason stays on the job until Ryan can relieve him later. Taylor Mason fucked up with Ana and expect zero fuck ups or he's fired."

"My thoughts exactly Sir."

walking back to my office I see Ana coming down the hall. Face scrubbed clean, wearing smug yoga pants and t-shirt "There you are Christian. I'm sorry we kinda commandeered your place"

giving her a little smile. " Think nothing of it Ana, I'm glad to offer my place for you and Ben. There's also something else I'd like to say."

looking as not wanting to hear what's coming next "Christian if this is an apology, please I don't want to hear it."

looking square in her eyes "No it's not. Well maybe a little. I wasn't working I was eavesdropping. I also think you and I should sit down tomorrow and have along talk."

watching as Ana tilts her head as if trying to figure out a puzzle. "Christian thank you for being honest and thank you for keeping me safe. Yes, we should talk tomorrow" taking my hand in hers "but for now let's eat some leftover pizza and hang out with Ben."
