"Just in time. Captain Cold, Boomerang, Trickster, and Piper are robbing the Central City Bank." Bart pointed to the building as the Rogues ran out of the building.
"Sorry guys, time to go back to prison." Kid Flash said.
"Aw...hey, where's Flashie?" Trickster complained. Kid sighed.
"I'm sorry James, but he's off world." James pouted.
"He and Baby Flash number 1 promised to play darts with me." He complained.
"Chill Trickster, he can play next time." The Pied Piper rolled his eyes at the younger boy. June looked at Bart, bewildered.
"You're on first name basis with your villains?" She asked in an incredulous tone. He looked back at her.
"And you're not?"
"Sorry, I don't usually chat it up in a cafe with Dent or Nigma." She narrowed her eyes at him. He raised his arms in a surrender sign.
"Point taken. But after I came from the future and Wally retired, they kinda dubbed me as the new 'baby flash'."
"Your city is crazier than Bludhaven and Gotham. And I should know." She told him. Bart couldn't help but smile at June's sass to the rogue villains. Trickster put his hands on his hips and pouted.
"Well maybe you should. It could be fun." He said as he continued to pout. Captain Cold rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Without one of them trying to kill me with demon plants, a coin, riddles, crowbars, fear gas, or anything else would be slightly difficult." June told him.
"That sucks." Trickster said sympathetically.
"Tell me about it." June scowled, and rolled her shoulders back.
"Alright KF, let's bring these guys to prison and then we can go get burgers." The mention of burgers lit Bart's eyes up.
"Okay!" He immediately agreed, rounding the four up with ease. He sped back to June and pecked her on the cheek.
"Ready?" This caught the four Rogues' attention.
"Baby Flash has a girlfriend!" James squealed like a school girl. An evil grin appeared on Hartley's face.
"Why didn't you tell us! Even Wally told us when he started dating Arty!"
"Yeah, and Artemis told me all about the teasing he got from you guys." Bart groaned. June couldn't help but smile. Bart was right, the speedsters do treat these guys like family.
"Yeah but it was only because he didn't tell us right after it happened." James said. Bart groaned. June decided to tease Bart a bit.
"You never mentioned me to them?" June raised an eyebrow at her boyfriend. He stammered a bit.
"Well- I uh- I- no." He sighed.
"Too embarrassed to mention me?" She asked with fake anger in her voice.
"N-no." He mumbled.
"You're paying for the food." She told him.
"Okay." He agreed automatically.
"Whipped." Cold coughed. Bart glared at him.
"Shut up. You should be talking, Len. How's the wife?" Cold promptly shut up.
"Haha he got you there!" Boomerang said as he put his arm around his friends neck.
"Oh shut up!"Cold said. June laughed. These guys really weren't your typical villains. These guys were just some guys who were buddies.
"Anyways...lets get you guys back to jail." Bart said.
"James, back to the hospital for you." He added, looking pointedly at him. Trickster groaned.
"I'll take the others." June volunteered.
"Alright...But the only way he'll let me leave if I play darts with him, so I might be late."
"I'll be fine." She pecked his lips.
"Meet you at Wendy's?" Bart grinned and pulled June's waist close to his, kissing her gently. June closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck while deepening the kiss.
"Excuse me!" Cold interrupted. Bart and June pulled away and looked at him.
"Can we move it along now?" Boomerang asked. The couple groaned. Bart then took Trickster to the hospital while June took the others to jail.
"Hey Len, got yourself caught again?" Mirror Master asked.
"Not my fault. Baby Flash had a birdie with him." Len gestured to June, who appeared after taking the rest to jail.
"Sooooo..." Hartley narrowed his eyes at her.
"What are your intentions with our baby?"
"What?" June asked. To be honest she was kinda shocked when Hartley called Bart their 'baby'.
"Answer the question little girl." He said as he crossed his arms across his chest. June didn't know what to say for an answer.
"First of all, I'm only thirteen. Hardly little, flute boy." She glared at him, snapping out of her shock.
"Second, my intentions are to go on a date with my boyfriend."
"Hey I recognize you!" Heatwave suddenly exclaimed. June looked at him, puzzled.
"You're that chick that Zolomon keeps talking about." Zolomon...Oh. June's eyes widened. Shit.
"Oh shit..." June said. Cold and the others gave her a suspicious look.
"Now what do you say about that?" Cold asked. June looked at him and gave him the bat-glare. Cold quickly sank down in his seat in fear.
"Look, I don't care what he says about me, but I'm with KF. So drop it." She said as she walked towards the door.
"What's with you and Zolomon?" Mirror Master demanded. June swiveled back and sent him a glare.
"Nothing." She said in a dangerous tone. Mirror Master took a tentative step backwards.
"I'm with Kid Flash, and Hunter shouldn't have said anything that is no longer true." She glared finally and walked out of the prison.
"That girl is scary." Hartley said finally. The Rogues mumbled their agreements.
With June and Bart
Once June left the prison, she walked to a dark ally and grabbed the backpack near a zeta tube. She was glad that she was able to put a backpack there with clothes in it. After she grabbed her backpack, she went around the corner and speed changed out of her uniform and into civilian clothes. She put the backpack on and walked out of the ally and headed towards Wendy's. A few minutes later, Bart appeared through the doors. He smiled at June and sat in front of her.
"How were they?" Bart asked nervously.
"Annoying." June stated as she crossed her arms across her chest. Bart sighed and smiled at her.
"So how annoying? Did they say anything...weird?" Bart asked nervously. June briefly considered telling him about Hunter, but decided against it. It was irrelevant and would only bother him.
"Sorta asked what my intentions were with their baby." She smirked slightly at that. Bart thunked his head on the table and groaned.
"Why do they even call me that?" He asked himself. June laughed as Bart continued to groan.
"Oh don't be so down 'baby'." She said with a bit of taunting in her voice.
"June!" He complained loudly. June giggled.
"Your fault for having such hilarious villains."
"Humph. Not like I flirt with villains."
"That was ONE time." June's cheeks blossomed, thinking about the minor thief she had tracked down in Gotham. God, that was embarrassing...Bart smirked at June's reaction.
"Mhm..." He said as he crossed his arms across his chest and smirked. Just then Bart's phone rang. He took out his phone and looked at the Caller ID, which read Wally. He quickly answered his phone.
"Hey Wals." Bart stood up and walked outside for a bit, holding the phone to his ear.
"Hey Bart, I just heard Barry's outta town- and galaxy- need some help?"
"Nah. I'm good. June's helping me out. Why else did you call?" Wally was silent for a few seconds.
"Bart, Zoom escaped from prison, I just want you to be safe. June especially. She may deny it, but Caitlin told me that she still may harbor feelings for him. Just...Keep an eye on her, alright?"
"Did Caitlin tell you to call me?"
"Well...Yeah." He admitted.
"Tell her that we'll be fine. I'll die before letting someone, especially Zoom, to June."
"Alright. But still be careful." Wally said. Bart nodded and hung up.
