I am so sorry for the extremely long wait! I recently got my computer fixed and then i broke it once again, so I'm using my moms laptop which is hard to type on since it's a mini laptop. So anyway, sorry for the long wait.
"See! Even your own daughter who isn't even a year old yet, agrees with me. So face it Jaime, your old." Caitlin said with a small smile. Jaime groaned and looked at his son in Bruce's arms.
"I hope you don't think I'm old, do you?" He asked. Andrew looked at Jaime with a blank look with his tongue sticking out. Caitlin attempted to smother her laughter. Bruce smirked.
"Now you know how my kids make me feel on a daily basis."
"Look Bruce, if you're that upset about your kids growing up, why don't we take a family day over the weekend." Caitlin suggested.
"We could go down to the shore. School's out tomorrow. I'm sure Huntress and Question will handle Bludhaven and Gotham perfectly well. If not, you can call in a member of the JL, maybe Green Arrow?"
"I don't know Cay..."
"Bruce Wayne needs to keep up his apperances. Just me, Jaime, the twins, you, June, Steph, maybe Bart and Matthew, Jason, maybe Scarlett." Caitlin smirked at the idea of embarrassing her brother.
"Cass, Alfred and Dami can come too." Bruce looked at his oldest daughter.
"Alright. And Selina will be coming. She missed out on your pregnancy, the twins birth and your wedding. So she has to come." Bruce said.
"Oh yeah. I don't think Jaime has really met Selina." Caitlin said turning to her husband.
"I don't think I have." Jaime said.
"Nice knowing you, dear." Caitlin kissed his cheek and walked away with a baby in each arm. Jaime sat there for a second.
"Wait, what!?" He stood up. "Caitlin!" Bruce shook his head and walked off to tell his kids the news. He walked into the Batcave and saw all his kids in there. June was getting ready for patrol, Stephanie was getting ready to sleep at the mountain, Barbra and Dick doing some tech work, and the others were doing their own thing.
"Hey guys, I got to tell you something." He said. Everyone looked at him.
"What is it?" Dick asked.
"This weekend we are going down to the shore and have some family time. Just the family. No boy/girlfriends, no friends. Just family. And Selina will be joining us along with Alfred." Bruce explained. Everyone groaned.
"Oh come on!" Jason groaned.
"But Bart and I were going to-"
"Matthew and I have plans-"
"Scarlett was going to show me-"
"I was going to visit Zatanna-"
"No." Bruce said.
"Isn't Selina considered a girlfriend?" June complained.
"She's apart of this family and she is coming." Bruce said.
"And Jaime?" Jason questioned.
"Jaime is Caitlin's husband so yes, he is apart of this family too." Bruce said. Jason groaned once again.
"So I have to marry to make Bart considered as family?" June asked.
"NO!" Just about all the boys shouted. June smirked.
"He comes around often enough. Eats with us all the time anyways."
"June you are 14, you aren't getting married till your 30." Bruce said. June crossed her arms and began to pout. Bruce smiled and ruffled her hair.
"Ok since school is out tomorrow, we are going to spend the day together." Bruce said. Damian scowled.
"Father, what exactly will we be doing that creates," He made a face. "family bonding?" Bruce smirked.
"It'll be fun. I promise."
The next day
"Fishing." Jason deadpanned.
"You think fishing, will create family bonding."
"Yes Jason. But it's just going to be us guys, while the girls do whatever girls do to bond." Bruce said. Jason groaned as Bruce and the others loaded up the fishing rods and tackle box and headed towards the docks. Jaime groaned along with Jason. Why him? He'd rather be with Caitlin and the kids.
"Come on guys, it'll be fun." Bruce tried. He noticed Damian, Tim, Jason, and Jaime's scowls.
"Dick?" Dick coughed.
"Leave me out of this, okay?"
With the girls
"YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!"
"We're just our nails done, June!"
"June, knock it off!"
"Never!" The young girl was forced down by the other girls as Caitlin started to paint her nails.
"I don't wanna have my nails painted!"
"Oh be quite June." Caitlin said as she worked. June continued to struggle through out the whole time Caitlin painted her nails.
"Okay I'm done June." June whimpered, looking at her nails in a horrific fashion.
"Please, take them off!"
"June, don't you dare pick them off! If you do, there's no patrol for a week." Selina exclaimed. June pouted.
"But-but" She stammered.
"No buts!" June groaned. Victoria then giggled at June's reaction. June turned to Victoria.
"This will be you in a few years. Trust me." June said. Victoria began to giggle even more. Selina laughed and picked up the infant from the play pen. Once she picked up the infant, Victoria started to cry and stretched her arms towards Caitlin.
"Why is she crying?" Selina asked as she tried to calm the child down.
"I guess it's because she's never met you or seen you before." Caitlin said as she took Victoria from Selina's arms. Selina seemed to pout.
"Aww." June sighed and took Victoria from Caitlin, smiling and cooing at her. She suddenly made a face and handed her back to her mother.
"I think this one needs a diaper change." She said. Caitlin turned to Selina.
"Want to get to know her?"
"Oh geez..." Selina said as she took Victoria from June and walked over to a table. Selina then laid the toddler on the table, with a blanket underneath, and began to change her diaper. After she changed her diaper, she walked back over to the girls and handed her back to Caitlin.
"So you want to hold Andrew?" She asked.
"Yes! Where is he?" Selina asked with excitement. Caitlin sighed as Stephanie handed the young boy to Selina. Andrew giggled and tugged at Selina's short hair playfully. Selina smiled at the infant, unable to help herself.
"I should probably feed them." Caitlin mused.
"Help." Cass signed as she stood up silently and held her arms out for a baby. Andrew looked at Cass for a second and then stretched his arms out towards her. She smiled and took the child. Caitlin got up and walked towards where Alfred was sitting, enjoying a book, and grabbed a bag. She walked back over to the girls and pulled out two bottles. A blue bottle and a pink bottle. Caitlin handed the blue bottle to Cass and Caitlin put the pink bottle into Victoria's mouth.
"I can't believe that you made these two beautiful babies." Selina cooed. Caitlin smiled.
"Yeah, well I do make wonderful things."
Minus your cooking." June said. Caitlin turned and gave June a glare.
"But I'm gonna have to do something to your husband. Now how cold is that water?" Selina asked. Caitlin laughed.
"Please don't. I kinda need him." She smiled.
"Besides, too much paperwork."
"I heard that!" Jaime shouted from the boat the guys were in.
"You were meant to!" She hollered back.
"Don't complain when the kids ask where I am!" Jaime hollered back. Caitlin laughed and adjusted her grip on Victoria.
"It feels like just yesterday I met him. Time has gone by fast." Caitlin said with a smile.
"We know how you feel." Selina said with a smile as she stared at Bruce.
"Um...ew?" Stephanie commented. The girls laughed and went back to their conversation.
A few hours later
"Are we finally finished with family bonding day?" June complained once they re-entered Wayne Manor. Bruce rolled his eyes.
"Yes." Immediately several pairs of hands turned to him. He rolled his eyes once again and held up a bag of cell phones, weapons and other electronics. He handed June 's phone and bow, Jason's IPad, Stephanie's cellphone, Tim's laptop, Damian's sword (why he tried to bring that on a fishing trip, the world may never know), Dick's comm link, and Cass' book.
"Why didn't you take anything from her?" June asked, pointing to Caitlin while pouting. Caitlin decided to be mature and stick her tongue out back at her.
"Because the only thing I could take that would mean something to her would be her children." Bruce replied dryly.
"Besides, she was the only one out of you guys who didn't complain."
"But I'm nineteen!" Dick complained, scowling as he checked his messages. For all he knew, Kaldur could have called for backup while he was offline!
"I hope your happy Bruce. I could have been called for backup from Kal." Dick said. Bruce rolled his eyes for the hundredth time that day. Dick walked off while checking his comm link and phone.
"Well I guess it's nap time for these two." Caitlin said as she gestured towards Victoria and Andrew. Jaime took Victoria while Caitlin took Andrew and they went upstairs. June turned to Bruce.
"And I hope that your happy because Bart could be worried about me!" June said as she walked off dramatically.
"Talk about a drama queen." Tim said.
"Tim go dry yourself off." Bruce said. The only excitement they had on the boat was when Damian pushed Tim into the water. Damian smirked at him as Tim passed by. Tim muttered under his breath, "Demon child." before walking to his bedroom to change his clothes.
