"Haah, how long has it been since we left earth?" Gohan thought to himself as he leaned on his only arm against one of the machines as he watched Videl spar with Trunks in the anti-gravity room Trunks' had built into the ship.

It had been nearly a three weeks since they had left earth and headed for the coordinates Trunks' was able to find for New Namek. So far there had been nothing to see outside the windows, nothing but various stars and planets that would have been interesting to Gohan a decade or so ago.

"What the hell is that?!" Gohan shouted looking out the window as he saw a giant ball of energy he never though he'd see again smash into a nearby planet. The ensuing shockwave sending the ship off course, veering off into the direction of a nearby planet.

"What happened, Gohan?" Trunks' shouted as he ran to the controls trying to steer the ship back on course.

"Someone blew up a planet," Gohan said with a calm expression that betrayed the panic attack he felt on the verge of, "and it seems to have blown the ship off course… can you get it back on course?"

"I'm trying but the planet we're headed for seems to have a gravitational pull much stronger than the ship can handle," Trunks shouted over his shoulder, "it'd be better to go with it for now."

Gohan ran to one of the seats, Videl following along with him, as Trunks began the process of trying to slow down the descent of the ship. His hands flying over the controls and buttons as thrusters reversed their direction and began to work at slowing down the object hurtling through the atmosphere into the planet just barely landing safely. As Trunks' opened up the door, after testing for oxygen in the air, everybody felt the pressure increase in the cabin. Forcing everybody to hunch down from the gravity that seemed to rank up in the thousands. Trunks' instantly broadened the electronic barrier, which prevented the hyper gravity in the training room from spreading to the whole ship, to encompass the entire ship.

"What the hell?" Videl asked, picking herself up off the ground feeling like she had been slammed through several buildings.

"I'm not sure, but I'll go check it out." Gohan said, getting up and walking outside.

Instantly Gohan was forced to his knees as the gravity of the planet seemed to be thousands of times earths'. Going super saiyan Gohan managed to stand up however, he still felt the pressure of the extreme gravity and found it hard to even breathe. Taking a few steps Gohan realized it would be near impossible for him to fly on this planet.

It was at this time two things happened, first Gohan realized he felt the desire to train on this planet. He knew he didn't want to train because he had to but because he wanted to. Not being able to even move also made Gohan realize the reason his father was so happy to fight Frieza and even Vegeta years ago. Gohan felt his saiyan blood quicken at the prospect when he felt murderous intent from behind him and, just barely, move out of the way of a Ki blast aimed at his back.

"Gohan!" Trunks shouted

"Stay inside Trunks and if you come out go super beforehand." Gohan shouted back

"What's this?" said an unknown voice as a form that looked both familiar and not came floating down through the clouds.

The unknown being had a tall body that was at least 6-7 feet, with two horns protruding from the sides of his head and aiming down along his face. He had blue skin with red eyes, black gems on his abdomen and on each of his shoulders and a tail.

"A-are you related to Frieza?!" Gohan asked

"Frieza?" the being asked "Don't bring up that weakling in front of me"

"Who are you?" Gohan asked

"Me?" the being asked "My name is Fridged and before you ask I am indeed related to Frieza"

"That makes things easy" Gohan uttered

Gohan sent a few ki blasts at Fridged all of which were dodged. However, the blasts were meant to bring him in not to kill him. Fridged flew at Gohan full speed letting his murderous aura flow freely. As Fridged came near him, Gohan sent a kick right to Fridged's jaw causing his head to snap back as Gohan charged up and hastily blast a Kamehameha at Fridged.

"Trunks!" Gohan shouted "Go super saiyan and get out here, we have an enemy to defeat!"

"Right," Trunks said transforming, "Stay here Videl."

"O-ok" Videl muttered "not like I'd be able to stand out there"

Trunks lept out into the rocky terrain as his master ran off after the enemy. Trunks took off after him, feeling the intense gravity pushing him down. The enemy, which appeared to be some kind of dinosaur like thing, flared his aura which caused the ground around him to be destroyed. With a vicious grin, the monster soared across the terrain at the two super saiyans. Gohan and Trunks intercepted him with fists flying, they exchanged punches with the monster. The two saiyans worked in tandem against the monster, pulling each other out of the way of punches, as well as attacking the monster. Rocks were shattered, cracks appeared in the ground, and dust was sent flying in their clash. The fighting went on in a deadlock for several minutes, each second causing the land to be destroyed just a little bit more.

"Haah!" Trunks shouted, shooting his buster cannon at the same time as Gohan fired his Kamehameha. Both attacks combined into one and forced Fridged out of the planet, and sent him flying through a planet before landing on another planet.

"That guys was too strong" Trunks said

"No doubt," Gohan agreed, "However we have here, on this planet, a perfect opportunity to get much stronger."

"R-really?" Trunks asked "We do?"

"Yes," Gohan said landing a soft punch on top of Trunks' head, "we do"

"Let's go relax a bit first, then we'll do some more sparring here for a week or so" Gohan instructed

"…K" Trunks said hesitantly

The two saiyans made their way back to the ship, and exhausted, slid down the wall next to the door and let out a deep breath.

"What happened?" Videl asked, she had never seen either of the saiyans look so exhausted

"A lot happened… we need to train, to get stronger." Gohan said before falling asleep
