Author's Note:

Ok, I feel really bad because this chapter is really short, I kind of struggled to write this one, but the way I ended it, it should be easier to continue on.

I'll be updating this hopefully soon after I update 'Aim Straight' an Arrow fanfic and 'Time Itself' a BMWW Justice League fanfic.

If there's any questions or comments about this update, please, by all means you know where to type it!

DISCLAIMER: OK, I DON'T OWN ANYTHING OTHER THAN KATHERINE SUMMERS, SCARLET, AND THE PLOT. :D

REALIZATION

Roy

He doesn't know what to do, its like reality is crumbling around him and he can't do anything to stop it from falling apart. He had just found out that Katherine Summers isn't the Katherine he had fallen in love with, just thinking those words hurt, but he has no time to dwell in the past, he's starting to sound like a teenage girl…

He redirects his focus back onto the research he was performing before the second Katherine had invaded his mind. He decided to do a little snooping around in some of the Batcave's files, he knows that it'd be quite the challenge to retrieve them, let alone crack into the Batcave's system. He isn't master genius of all thins tech like his friend and leader is.

He opens Mount Justice's computer system and starts to hack.

It had been three hours of unsuccessful hacking, no progress was made whatsoever…

Deciding to just completely give up on the matter for he isn't getting anywhere, he decides to check up on Wally. Standing from the chair, he turns around to be greeted quite warmly by Dick. "Were you trying to hack into the Batcave's computer and retrieve highly classified files?" he said with a deadpan tone.

He really can't get away with anything, can he? "Fine, yes I was trying to because no one tells me shit about what's going on, I'm part of this supposedly working team too you know." Roy crosses his arms, it just seems that Dick hasn't been acting like himself lately. "I'll let this pass, only because you can spend you entire life trying to hack into the Batcave and you still wouldn't be able to get in. But if you even glance at the Batcave's system, I won't even hesitate to take away your Mount privileges."

With that last statement, Dick briskly walks out of the monitor room and disappears down the hallway.

Roy truly knows that this whole situation is much bigger than just Katherine.

He continues to make his way to check up on Wally in the infirmary, his stats are at a nail biting level, just a few short hours ago they all thought he was as dead as his uncle. Though he was still unconscious, Roy needed to talk to him, he was probably the only one who was just as clueless as he was. Not knowing what's happening made Roy on edge, he never liked to be the one who didn't know anything. He is always prepared for the mission at hand, he always knew what the enemy's weaknesses were, he always knew what he was dealing with. But today isn't like how it was, today he is going to be the one who doesn't understand.

"Hey, Wally. I know you might not hear this, but I seriously need someone to talk to." He looks left and right making sure no one will hear his one sided conversation. "I don't know what to do. Dick's acting like… a dick and Katherine isn't the Katherine we thought she was, and now we have yet another psychopath maniac chasing us around. The life of a hero…" He chuckles lightly at his words, just hearing himself speak comforts him.

He sighs, "Hey, bro, get well soon. This team needs you." He gets up and decides that one minute of talking to practically no one is enough for him.

He passes down to the dormitory rooms and stops at Katherine's. Before his mind can comprehend his actions, he's opening he titanium reinforced steel doors. It slides open and he sees Katherine lying on the bed. His lips purse into a straight line, "Hey…" He says lamely. She doesn't get up so he approaches her.

"Are you here to slap me too?" She asks quietly, he remembers having to pull Dick away because he was really giving her a beating. He had slapped her four times across the face after the first two. He tried to stop him, but Dick always had a reason for his actions, its just that he didn't know what. To Roy, his actions seemed to be quite irrational. "No, I'm not here to hit you, but just to talk." She has her back to him and he can't help but become broken hearted all over again. He had managed to loose two Katherines in one life time. "Who exactly are you?" He asks while seating himself down on the foot of the bed.

"Why doesn't anyone get it? I'm Katherine Summers, born and raised in a town called Avrill. Apparently I'm from World 111, an alternate dimension. I mean like, I already know I'm from a different dimension, just that I didn't know which one." He watches her burry her face into the pillows.

"I'm guessing everyone has questioned you already, especially Nightwing. I'd bet on it that he already came back in for a second round." He really feels sorry for her, you do not want to be on the receiving end of Dick's anger. Besides, when he thinks about it, Dick never really accepted Katherine onto his team, he sort of brushed her off in a rude manner. He said something about not liking rookies in his core?

"Well, he sure did come back." She mutters into her pillow.

He doesn't know what to do, Katherine was never one to sulk or cry, he never really needed to comfort her before. So now that she does, he doesn't know what to do. "Um, well… I… I'll talk to Wing." He gets up and glances back at Katherine before walking out.

And he thought his life was complicated before…

Dick

He has no idea what he's going to do. He has no idea what he's doing. Whisperer claimed that his own father is hiding something from him. He ponders about it, it is like Bruce to keep things from him, it wouldn't surprise him actually. But bugging the living shit out of the World's Greatest Detective wouldn't solve anything, he'd just have to get the information himself… like always…

He leans back in the chair that sits in front of the Batcomputer, Bruce isn't anywhere to be found for he's on duty at the Watch Tower dealing with the new recruits. Alfred is out with his friends for the night, Dick decided that the old man needed some free time of his own.

He rests his head back and closes his eyes for a moment, maybe he was too hard on the rookie? Maybe he needed to see it from her perspective?

When he cracks open his eyes, he spots something across the room in the corner of his eye. Due to safety precautions, Bruce doesn't like things laying around on the floor, every thing's either hanging or in a case of some sorts, but this object is on the ground. Rising from the seat, he moves over to the unidentified object, when he come within twenty feet of it, he knows that it's an ordinary backpack, one that is not of Batcave origins.

Picking it up, he looks at it, the brand of the bag does not exist, not in his reality. It doesn't take a genius to know who's bag this belongs to.

Everything started to fall together, the mysterious knock on the door only hours ago, the supposedly dead Katherine Summers that he first met in the manor as Dick Grayson, and the stats of the Alter Dimension Portal (ADP- first mentioned in chapter 5) acting up. Things started to happen when she arrived and he blames himself for not seeing it earlier.

He open up the bag and nearly drops it to the floor when he sees what's in it. Reaching into the backpack, he pulls out an entire stack of comic books.

"What the hell?"
