"Where do you think she's from?"
"Who?"
When she says that I roll my eyes.
"I don't know Ash they look American but they could be Australian or something like that"
"Do you think she'll let me go down under?"
They're both laughing but I'm being serious.
"It looks like she has a boyfriend"
That would ruin everything.
"Wish me luck"
She's waiting at the bar.
"Go get her tiger"
He's such an idiot.
"You're an unsual guy Aid"
When I get to where she's standing I don't say anything.
"What can I get you Ash?"
We've been staying here for over a week now.
So I know most of the people that work here.
"Just three beers thanks Mikey..."
"Are you heading out tonight Ash?"
"Most likely"
I watch him as he pours our three beers.
"There you go"
"Thanks Mikey keep the change"
When he walks away I turn so I'm facing her.
"Hi"
She's playing with her phone.
"Sorry"
I smile when she quickly puts her phone away.
"Hi I'm Ashley"
When she holds her hand out I shake it.
"Spencer"
She's definately American.
"It's nice to meet you Spencer"
"You to"
Even her voice is sexy.
"So what brings you to Brighton?"
"We're doing the whole Europe thing and apparantly you have to come here"
When she says that I smile.
"Lonely planet?"
"Yer"
She's laughing.
"There's rocks on the beach..."
"Yer I noticed on the way in that the beach wasn't quite like back home"
You definately don't come to Brighton for the beach.
"So Spencer where's home?"
"LA"
I have the biggest smile on my face.
She's gorgeous and she's from LA.
Perfect.
"So what about you Ashley?"
Who cares about me?
"Where are you from?"
"I'm also from LA..."
"Wow what a small world"
I want to sleep with her.
"So Spencer what part of LA are you from?"
"I live just near the UCLA campus, you?"
"Beverly Hills"
When I say that she raises her eyebrows.
"You live in Beverly Hills?"
"Yep born and raised"
"I'm impressed"
"Spencer it's really not that impressive"
"It kind of is when you live where I do"
Now I'm laughing.
"What's wrong with where you live?"
"It's a little different from Beverly Hills"
"Yer but Beverly Hills isn't normal"
My time in Brighton's going to be a lot more fun now she's here.
"Are you here by yourself?"
Sometimes I wish I was.
"No I'm here with my sister and my best friend"
"That's cool"
It has its moments.
"What about you Spencer are you on your own?"
I know she isn't.
But I don't want her to know that I was staring at them when they walked in.
She'd think I was a creep.
"No I'm with my two best friends and my boyfriend"
That just ruined everything.
"Boyfriend?"
"Yer the four of us have been planning this trip since we were sixteen"
Why does she have to have a boyfriend?
"How long have you been in England?"
I'm deliberately changing the conversation.
Because I really don't want to hear about her boyfriend.
"We landed on Saturday and then we spent a few days in London"
"Did you like London?"
"Yer I loved it"
It's nothing like LA.
"Did you see the queen?"
When I say that she starts laughing.
"I stopped by her house but she wasn't home"
She has the sexiest grin on her face.
"Did you find that ridiculous clock?"
I don't get why that stupid clock's so popular.
"Yer and I got on the weird bus"
"Oh I get it Spencer you're one of them"
"One of them?"
"Yer you're one of those people that goes travelling and actually see things"
I love her laugh.
"I am"
"Don't worry Spencer I don't judge"
She's smiling.
"Ashley have you been through London already?"
"Yep it was our first stop"
"Well what did you do when you were there?"
"I went to as many pubs as I could and then I spent the majority of the next day sleeping it off"
That's what I do when I travel.
"You didn't do anything touristy?"
"I wasn't going to but then Kyla woke me up really early on the last day and made me get on the stupid bus"
Everything about this girl is perfect.
"One day you'll look back and be thankful she did that"
"You're probably right"
Why couldn't this girl be gay?
"I should probably give them their beers before they go cold"
I quickly turn and grab the three beers off the bar.
"Spencer if you guys don't have any plans you should come join us"
She's smiling.
"I'll see what they say"
This girl's going to be the death of me.
"It was nice meeting you Spencer"
