"Okay Mokuba. You're awesome and all but you have the boniest butt!"
"Sorry Alissa." He tried to make his position on her lap more comfortable.
"Would you stop complaining? I'm trying to concentrate," Seto snapped from the front of the jet.
"I wouldn't be complaining if you would have just left me behind! I pointed out the fact that there are only two seats in here but you dragged me along anyway!"
"You're acting childish. We're almost there so deal with it." Alissa rolled her eyes at him but fell silent. She still didn't understand how she ended up in this situation. One minute she was in Seto's office with the Kaiba brothers talking to some creep named after a mythical horse, and the next moment she was on Seto's Blue Eyes shaped jet to play a card game with said creep. She furrowed her eyes in thought. Now that she was thinking about it, the name Pegasus sounded very familiar.
"So who exactly is this guy?"
"I'm surprised you don't remember."
"That doesn't answer my question."
"He's the creator Duel Monsters."
"Oh. Well then why the hell does he want your company? It's not like he isn't well-off enough."
"I intend to find out what he wants. It's not out of character for him to pull something like this."
"What do you mean? He's tried to take over your company before this?"
"It doesn't matter." She rolled her eyes and stared out the window of the jet. She figured he wouldn't tell her the exact reason. Getting stuff out of him was like pulling teeth. She couldn't remember if he was always like this, but she didn't like it. She brushed off her annoyance and shut her eyes in hopes of getting a brief amount of sleep before their jet landed. She had been having a lot of weird dreams lately and the amount of sleepless nights was really starting to take its toll on her. She could feel her patience wearing thinner with each day that passed. However, before she could reach unconsciousness, she could feel the pressure inside her ears decreasing. They were landing. She peered out the window as a castle came into view. When they landed, the trio climbed out of the jet.
"I can't feel my legs," she complained, stretching her legs out long.
"Sorry about that Alissa."
"Don't worry about it Mokuba. You aren't the one who forced me to come." The last part of her statement she had directed at the older Kaiba.
"We don't have time for this." He walked towards the entrance to the castle with Mokuba following closely behind. Alissa crossed her arms in front of her chest and followed.
"Am I the only person who is freaked out by how silent it is?"
"That's true Seto. No one has met us yet. You would think that Pegasus would've sent one of his staff to greet us by now."
"That's one less person to annoy me so I'm not complaining."
"How are you so calm about this? This place is creepy. I'm half expecting some psycho killer with a flail to pop out of the shadows."
"Oh please. Don't be ridiculous Alissa."
"You're right, in this time period the psycho killer would probably be wielding an axe instead of a medieval weapon."
"You've watched too many horror movies." She rolled her eyes. Can't this guy take a joke? Jeez, he must have a stick the size of Texas shoved up his ass. The trio entered the castle and walked down a long hallway. They stopped when they reached a large room with a large chasm in the middle of it.
"Whoa! We could've fallen!" Mokuba yelled out, looking down at the dark pit below.
"Show yourself Pegasus! Unless you did the smart thing and decided to go home!" The sound of deep laughter suddenly filled the room. Oh hell no! Evil laughter is never a good sign. Evil laughter equals a psycho! Bail Alissa!
"Oh hell no. I'm out! I'm waiting in the jet!"
"Don't," Seto commanded sharply. "This guy is a joke."
"Your lack of patience never fails to make me laugh Kaiba-Boy." Pegasus emerged from the dark hallway on the other side of the chasm.
"I see you're still as irritating as ever."
"Oh come on Kaiba-Boy, where's the love? We are such good friends." Mokuba, who had standing behind Seto, scoffed in disgust.
"Shut up, I came here to duel you so you'll finally get out of my life!"
"Oh come now Kaiba-boy, why do you hate me so much?"
"It's a long list and I don't have a lot of time. You stuck your nose where it doesn't belong when you started buying up shares from my company and I'm here to make you pay for it! And I know you're the one behind these monster sightings!"
"Is that really what you think? Or are you just afraid to admit what you really think? That these monsters are real."
"Hmph please. I don't believe in your stupid little magic tricks!"
"You're still giving that speech? I thought that you would've learned that magic is real based on what happened between you and I in this very room."
"What's he talking about?" Alissa asked Mokuba quietly. He frowned and shook his head in response.
"That's enough!"
"Oh what's wrong Kaiba-Boy? What's wrong with reminiscing about good memories with good friends?"
"We were never friends Pegasus! Now let's duel so I can leave and get you out of my life for good!"
"Very well. It's time for the rematch of the century!" A duel arena began to lower from above.
"Not too long ago we were in this exact same spot and I devastated you! Who knew I'd be able destroy you twice in my life time!"
"This time you'll be the one who gets destroyed!"
"That's right! My brother is going to destroy you Pegasus!"
"Mokuba I see you're still Kaiba's one and only fan."
"Um hello! Can you count?" Alissa called, waving her hand around. "I'm here too."
"Mokuba. Both of you stay back."
"What?"
"Look Mokuba. You and I both know what this madman is capable of and I want you both to be kept at a safe distance."
"Fine." Alissa lead Mokuba upstairs to the balcony right above the dueling arena. "I hope my brother will be alright."
"He'll be fine Mokuba. Don't worry about him."
"It's time to beat this jerk Seto!"
"That's right you'll beat this punk easy!"
"Let's duel!"
"So what happened last time you guys were here?" Alissa asked, glancing at the duel that had begun below them. Mokuba released a small sigh.
"I don't really like to talk about it. To be honest, I still don't know exactly what happened. All I know is that Pegasus tried to get rid of my brother and me and it almost worked."
"Wait, your brother still agreed to duel this guy even though he almost killed you guys last time?"
"Yeah."
"Your brother's an idiot." The duo watched the other two duel below them. Soon, Seto was down to 2000 life points and Pegasus was down to 2200. Mokuba and Alissa smiled when Seto destroyed Pegasus's Toon World card.
"Alright Seto!"
"Way to take out the trash Rich Boy!"
"Your move Pegasus!" Pegasus looked down, his silver hair blocking his eyes like a curtain.
"What's he doing?"
"Hello? I'm taking your silence as a forfeit! Not that I blame you. I'd quit too if my strategy was as much as a joke as yours is. You're using the exact same strategy that you used the last time we dueled! You're a lot of things Pegasus, but being predictable isn't on that list!"
"I guess I just haven't been myself lately." He paused and smirked devilishly. "In fact, I mean that literally." Mokuba and Alissa gasped, quickly looking at each other.
"What's going on?" Pegasus's face was ripped away to reveal a tall, thin young man. His hair was magenta and cut short. His eyes were the color of silver.
"You're going to pay for tricking me! Identify yourself!"
"The name's Alister and it's time to duel!" It's him! One of the biker guys! And I'll bet he has one of those soul stealing cards! We have to stop the duel now!
"We need to get down there now!"
"What? Alissa what are you talking about?
"That's one of the biker punks that stole the God cards! We have to get down there and stop the duel now!" Before they had time to move, Alister spoke.
"This magic card is about to change everything! I play The Seal of Orichalcos!" A green circle suddenly began to lower from the ceiling.
"What's going on?"
"Seto get out of there! Stop the duel now!" It was too late. The green circle formed a dome around the two duelists, trapping them in. Alissa bolted towards the dueling arena with Mokuba following closely behind her. She came to a stop right outside the green dome.
"Seto!"
"Mokuba don't touch it!" As soon as Mokuba's body hit the dome, his body was thrown backwards.
"Mokuba!" Alissa kneeled next to him and helped him to his feet.
"Let my brother out now! You have no idea who you're messing with" Mokuba ordered, hitting his fists against the dome.
"Of course I do. I'm dealing with greedy, selfish little rich boy who is just as pathetic as his old man was."
"What did you just say? I'm nothing like my stepfather. He was a snake."
"So are you."
"Who put you up to this Alister?"
"No one. Now let's get on with this!" Mokuba and Alissa gasped in horror as they watched Seto's monster that had just been destroyed appear on Alister's side of the field.
"Alister is going to turn Seto's whole deck against him!"
"Let me guess. The facedown card you just played is your Crush card. I've been watching you for a while now Kaiba and I know everything about you. Especially your pathetic Duel Monsters strategy." Seto smirked.
"I had no idea you were such a fan. If you wanted an autograph, all you had to do was ask."
"You make me sick."
"What did I do?"
"You ruined my life!" He paused to dig something out of his pocket. When he pulled his hand out of the back pocket of his pants, he was holding an action figure.
"This is all I have now."
"You realize you're holding a busted toy right?"
'Don't you dare! You have no idea what this doll means to me!"
"Hm humor me."
"It used to belong to my brother! But I'll never see him again because your father took him away!" The trio gasped as Alister began to tell his story. As his story continued, Alissa couldn't help but feel bad for him. He'd lost his whole family at a really young age just like she had. It was no surprise that he was so angry.
"Now you're going to pay for what your father did!" Alister finished. "By giving up your soul to feed the Great Beast."
"That isn't fair! My brother didn't do anything wrong! Our stepfather was a huge jerk but that isn't Seto's fault! He knew that what Gozaburo was doing was wrong, that's why he took control of Kaiba Corp. and changed it into a company that actually helps people! What happened to you wasn't our fault!"
"What do you know?"
"I know a lot! And for your information, my brother and I grew up without a family too!"
"Poor you. Now imagine what it would be like if you didn't even have your brother!"
"Don't listen to anything he says Mokuba!"
"I was only trying to help."
"Oh how cute a little family spat. Don't worry Mokuba, once I take your brother's soul he won't be able to boss you around anymore."
"Alright listen you little punk!" Alissa shouted, finally deciding to speak up.
"Alissa don't," Seto hissed at her through clenched teeth. "I can handle this." She crossed her arms and frowned.
"Just consider yourself lucky punk! If there wasn't a dome protecting you, I'd stick my foot so far up your butt that you'd be able to taste it!"
"Oh Kaiba, you have a fan besides Mokuba. How cute." Seto growled low in his throat.
"Look Alister. I agree with you. My stepfather was a snake and what he did to your family was wrong and you deserve to be paid for it. However, I don't appreciate the way you brought me here! Now let's finish this duel and if you're lucky enough to win, maybe I'd be willing to help you out!
"How generous of you. Don't worry; as soon as you lose this duel you will help me by giving me your soul. Now let's continue tis duel!" Alissa frowned deeply when one of Alister's monsters attacked Seto directly, bringing his life points down to 400. Come on Seto. You can't lose your soul. Some of Alissa's worry dissipated when Seto brought Alister's life points down to 1200. Maybe he will win this. Her hopes were crushed when Alister destroyed both of Seto's Blue Eyes White Dragons and brought them to his side of the field.
"Lucky for you Kaiba, I can't attack this turn. But next turn you're through!" No, Alissa thought. It can't end like this. He needs to think of something!
"Well Kaiba? Are you going to take your turn?"
"I play the Fang of Critias!"
"No way! You don't have that card!" Seto smirked.
"Are you sure?" A dragon the color of the night sky appeared on the field. "Now I merge my Crush card with my Critias to make a new monster! Come forth Doom Virus Dragon!"
"My monsters are stronger!"
"That's true but my dragon has a special ability that allows it to automatically destroy all monsters with more than 1500 attack points!" Alister's monsters were all destroyed, leaving his life points wide open. "Now, Doom Virus Dragon, attack his life points directly!"
"I'm not finished yet! I activate Contagion of Darkness!" Mokuba and Alissa watched with wide eyes as both of the duelists' life points hit zero.
"It's a draw!" The seal suddenly exploded, sending Seto backwards into Mokuba and Alissa.
"Seto!"
"Are you okay?"
"Hey look! He's gone!"
"I'll be back Kaiba and I'll make sure you pay!" Alister's voice echoed through the empty room then disappeared.
"Are you okay?"
"Don't be ridiculous. I'm fine." Seto pulled himself to his feet and brushed some dirt off of his coat.
"I'm glad you're okay." Alissa hugged him tightly. Seto was slightly shocked. Ever since her accident, she hadn't been the one to initiate any bodily contact but now her she was clutching him in her arms tightly. He slowly hugged her back with a small smile.
"Come on. Let's go. We've got the real Pegasus to find." Seto pulled away from her and walked down the hall, closely followed by the younger Kaiba. Alissa glanced behind her at where the duel had just happened. I really need to find normal friends.

Hey guys! Well there's the next chapter! I tried to get this up on Friday while I was on the plane but unfortunately I didn't finish writing the whole thing. Anyhoo, no one cares about my excuses. Thanks for the reviews for last chapter. I'm glad you guys have been enjoying the chapters and since school is slowing down a bit, I plan on updating a bit more frequently.
