Alright people. Here we go with the ninth chapter of Don't Forget. To be honest, this chapter, as well as the next one, makes me kind of nervous. The reason behind that is, in the next two chapters, I wrote my own duel. I wrote a "duel" in the first story but I don't really count it as a duel. That duel was for fun and it wasn't nearly as intense as this one will be. This duel will be a bit more descriptive as well. All the duels up until this point have obviously been pulled from the actual anime series. So, without further ado, let's dive in shall we? Hopefully the duel didn't end up too awful. Read on and I hope you all enjoy!

"I um…I'm sorry but I don't remember you. I should go." She turned to leave but he blocked her exit by stepping in front of her. She narrowed her eyes up at him. "Move. Now."

"We can help you."

"You and your biker friends are trying to destroy the world. I don't want your help and I don't need it."

"Don't you want to remember who you are?"

"I don't need you to help me remember."

"Well those people that you call friends aren't exactly helping you either with all the secrets they're keeping from you." Alissa snorted.

"Yeah. Like I'd believe you."

"Then I assume they told you then?" He asked, raising and eyebrow with a smirk.

"Told me what?"

"That your mom is still alive."

"You're lying. My mom isn't…she can't be alive. They would've told me!"

"You're right. The shrimp and his gang didn't know otherwise they would've told you the truth." She growled at him referring to Yugi as a shrimp but he simply smirked in response before continuing.

"That CEO friend of yours however, he knew that your mother survived."

"No. You're trying to turn me against him and it isn't going to work. Why would Seto lie to me about that?"

"He's selfish, just like the majority of the filth on this planet. He'd do anything to keep the control he had over you, including keeping your mother's survival a secret from you."

"You're so full of shit. He wouldn't do that."

"You trust him?"

"Of course I do. He's providing me with a place to live as well as numerous other things. Why shouldn't I trust him?"

"You poor girl. You really don't remember do you?"

"Remember what?"

"He used to beat you."

"What did you say?"

"He used to beat you. You were terrified of him."

"No. You're lying! He wouldn't-."

"How would you know he wouldn't? Because of him you don't have your memories. He's the one that caused your accident."

"Liar!" No. It can't be true. Seto wouldn't do that. She grabbed her head with both hands as images flashed through her mind.

"You idiot!" Alissa ducked as another solid object was lobbed at her head. She ducked, the book that had been aimed at her missing her head by a mere few inches.

"Seto please! I'm sorry!" The brunet quickly covered the distance between them and brought his hand across Alissa's cheek roughly. She let out a small scream and moved her hand to clutch her stinging cheek.

"Do. Not. Interrupt. Me," he hissed, punctuating every word.

"I'm sor-." Another stinging slap cut her off.

"Shut up." She bit her lip with a small whimper. He scoffed in disgust. "You're pathetic."

"I'm not," she said quietly.

"What was that?"

"I'm not pathetic." He slapped her again, this time on the other cheek, sending her head roughly to the side. He grabbed her jaw in a tight grip and turned her face towards his own.

"Say it again. I dare you." When she didn't say anything, he squeezed her jaw harder, earning a whimper of discomfort from the dark haired girl.

"Ow! Stop please!"

"Admit you're pathetic and I will."

"Okay! I'm pathetic! Now please let go! You're hurting me!" He smirked and released her already bruising jaw. He suddenly trapped her lips in a bruising kiss. She moaned in discomfort and pushed against his chest.

"No. Stop it Seto."

"Shut up."

"Ow Seto please! You're hurting me!"

"I said shut up!" The last thing she saw was a fist flying towards her face before everything went dark.

Alissa held onto her head while tears coursed down her cheeks. No. It's true. A voice that she had never heard before suddenly rang through her mind.

"Don't worry my child. You can trust us. Go with Sam and we will help you get rid of the one who hurt you. Trust us and we will help you find your mother." Just as quickly as the voice came, it disappeared. She looked up slowly to find Sam standing in front of her with a hand outstretched.

"Well Alissa. What do ya say? Are you ready to get rid of Kaiba?" She looked at Sam's hand before slowly taking it in her own.

"I trust you Sam."

Seto drove quickly down the road, a deep frown set between his brows. I can't believe the Geek Squad just let her walk away. Mokuba sensed his brother's irritation and finally spoke up.

"Don't worry Seto. You and I both know that she can handle herself just fine."

"I can't believe those idiots let her go after Wheeler alone," Seto snapped, completely ignoring his younger brother's soothing words.

"Seto look out! There's someone in the road!" Reacting quickly as he had been trained to, Seto slammed his foot down on the brake, pulling the car to a screeching halt.

"Are you alright?" Seto asked, turning his attention to Mokuba.

"Yeah. I'm fine." He looked out the window and his eyes widened. "Hey it's Tea and Tristan and it looks like they found Joey!" The Kaiba brothers climbed out of the car upon recognizing the trio in the middle of the road.

"It's Kaiba and Mokuba!"

"Hey you guys found Joey! What happened to him?"

"Yeah did Baby need a nap?"

"That isn't funny Kaiba!"

"She's right Seto. You shouldn't make fun of his situation; especially since soon you'll be in a very similar one." Alissa suddenly appeared from one of the dark alleys. She had her arms crossed in front of her chest and a deep frown between her brows. The same type of duel disk that Alister had was on her left arm.

"Alissa? What are you doing? Stop fooling around."

"I'm afraid she isn't fooling around. She's being serious." Seto recognized the redhead almost immediately after he made an appearance. This was the guy who had repeatedly stalked and threatened Alissa a few months back. I thought that we had seen the last of this snake.

"What are you doing here?" The CEO's voice was filled with venom.

"Isn't it obvious? We're here to duel you so we can take your soul."

"I'm not dueling Alissa." Usually, the stubborn teen would never back down from a challenge, but there was no way he was going to duel Alissa and put her in danger. He may not have believed in all this magic stuff, but he couldn't deny that something weird and very dangerous was going on. He wasn't about to put Alissa in danger of ending up like Alister had.

"Hm I thought you never backed down from a challenge Seto," Alissa taunted with a sarcastic, angry smirk. "Are you really going to prove me wrong?"

"What did I tell you Alissa? This rich punk is nothing but a coward!" Seto growled low in his throat and frowned.

"Fine. You want a duel? Well then you've got one. Mokuba hold this." He shoved his briefcase into his younger brother's arms and pulled out his duel disk and his deck.

"Seto what are you doing? You can't duel them! What if-?"

"Relax Mokuba. I can handle this clown. Maybe once I take care of this snake, Alissa will listen to the voice of reason."

"We'll see won't we Mr. Kaiba," Sam said with a wide smirk.

"Just shut up and let's duel."

"Suit yourself. Let's duel!" The duelists flipped out their duel disks and put their decks into the slot made for their decks.

"What do ya say Kaiba? Ladies first?"

"Whatever."

"Alright Alissa. It's your move." Alissa drew five cards and looked at what fate had dealt her.

"I play Black Salvo (ATK 100, DEF 1100) in Defense Mode and end my turn."

"My go!" Sam looked at the five cards he had drawn with a small smirk. He stole a brief glance at Alissa. He knew exactly what she was planning. Prior to meeting up with the young CEO the two had come up with a strategy to ensure their victory and so far, everything was going according to plan. All they had to do was draw the right cards. Everything else had already been set in place.

"Looks like your fate is sealed Kaiba. Literally. I play the Seal of Orichalcos!" As soon as the card was played, the green dome that had become all too familiar surrounded the three duelists. Mokuba watched on in worry. He turned to Tristan and Tea in a panic. "We have to do something! We have to save them!"

"We need to get Alissa back on our side first." He nodded in agreement. But how do we do that? We don't even know why she's mad at Seto. Sam's voice brought Mokuba's attention back to the duel.

"Finally, I place Archfiend Mirror (ATK 1200, DEF 1100) in Attack Mode and end my turn."

"It's my move! I play Judge Man (ATK 2200, DEF 1500) in Attack Mode. Now my monster, attack his Archfiend Mirror!" Seto's monster launched its attack at Sam's monster. However, right before its attack hit, Sam smirked.

"Nice try Kaiba but my monster isn't that easily destroyed. The mirror hypnotizes other monsters and diverts their attacks away from my monster!" Seto frowned when he saw that his attack did no damage.

"I place one card face down and end my turn," he snarled. Alissa drew another card and smirked. She had just drawn the card she needed.

"I summon Ancient Tool (ATK 1700, DEF 1400) in Defense Mode. I place one card face down then end my turn." Seto frowned. Why were they playing such weak monsters and why weren't they attacking him? They had something planned. Seto's frown and nervousness only deepened when Sam played Blizzard Falcon (ATK 1500, DEF 1500) in Attack Mode and didn't attack.

"It's your move Kaiba! Hurry up so we can finish you off!" He looked at his hand and frowned. Being in danger was nothing new to him. He knew how to handle situations like this. However, the fact that Alissa was in danger too was throwing off his concentration.

"Judge Man, attack Sam's stronger monster!" Seto's monster destroyed Sam's stronger monster, bringing his life points down to 3300. "I place one card face down and end my turn."

"My turn! I reveal my face down card Soul Exchange! Next I sacrifice my two monsters, as well as Sam's monster to summon Ally of Justice Decisive Armor (ATK 3300, DEF 3300) in Attack Mode! And, since the Seal of Orichalcos is on our side of the field, my monster gains a 500 point boost!" The seal appeared on the front of the blue and gold machine that had been summoned on Alissa's side of the field (ATK 3800, 3800).

"Oh and did I mention my monster has a special ability? For sending all the cards in my hand to the Graveyard, I get to look at your hand and send all LIGHT monsters in your hand to the Graveyard and the attack points of those monsters are deducted from your life points! So let's see the damage Seto." Seto frowned. He had his Blue Eyes White Dragon in his hand. He had planned on using that next turn, but now it was going straight to the Graveyard, and worse, he was about to lose 3000 life points.

"How unfortunate for you Seto! The duel has barely even started and you're already down to 1000 life points. Next turn, you're finished!"

Alright so I'm going to end it here. I apologize for the wait in updating but I've been really busy with school. Finals are this week so I've been studying and all that fun stuff. I'm also sorry for the length of this chapter, but I just really wanted to get something out before finals since I won't be writing at all this week. But, on the bright side, I'm going home for Winter break on Friday and I'll be off school for a month. Hopefully then I'll have plenty of time to write. Well, that's all for now. Let me know what you guys think of the duel so far! I tried to make it as accurate as possible so if you have anything to say about it (whether it be a compliment or correction) don't be afraid to share. Especially if it's a correction! I want to make this duel as accurate as possible. Well, I'll talk to you guys next update. Peace out girl scouts!
