Hey guys. So back spasms suck ass. My back has me bed ridden so it looks like I'll be writing quite a bit until I feel better because getting up hurts like a bitch. Anyhoo, my "sob story" isn't important. I hope you guys have liked the recent chapters despite them being shitty and not very action-y. Well they are action-y, but if you've seen the fourth season of Yu-gi-oh then you already know what's going to happen. There will be a twist in this chapter though and I have something big planned coming up after the KC Grand Prix. Well, anyhoo, onwards with the chapter. Oh, also I feel like I should add a disclaimer cause I don't think I've done it for this story yet. I unfortunately do not own Yu-gi-oh. The only things that are mine are my original characters and the sub plots.

"What are they going to do now? How are they supposed to attack without hurting Yugi, Pegasus, Joey, and Mai in the process?"
"Leave them alone Dartz!"
"Mirror Knight Yugi attack your other half."
"Don't Yugi! I know you can hear me! Fight him!" The Mirror Knight fought against Dartz's order, its whole body shaking.
"Hm it appears that even though you betrayed him your friend is still faithful to you. No matter, I place one card facedown and end my turn. Let's see what you've got Mr. Kaiba." The group watched as Seto summoned his Different Dimension Dragon to the field to join his Kaiser Glider.
"Kaiser Glider attack knight number three!"
"But that's Mai!"
"Don't! You can't!"
"Please stop Seto!"
"I'm not going to let a mind trick stop me from winning the duel. This lunatic stole my company and I'll do whatever I have to to get it back."
"Kaiba please don't. I'm begging you."
"He's trying to stall us Yugi. I won't let his mind trick work on me. Now, Kaiser Glider continue your attack!"
"Mai! Oh no!" The attack hit, destroying the Mirror Knight's shield.
"Now her shield is gone!"
"That means she'll be gone after another attack!"
"Different Dimension Dragon attack her again!"
"Stop!"
"Hey look!" Mirror Knight Joey stood in front of Mirror Knight Mai.
"Joey saved her!"
"But now his shield is gone!"
"Hmph, I should've known Wheeler would mess things up. I place a card facedown and end my turn."
"It's my move now."
"You know what you have to do Yugi. Destroy Mirror Knight Joey and Mai. It's the only way we'll win the duel."
"I can't endanger my friends. I have no choice but to end my turn."
"What are you doing?"
"How are they supposed to win if the Pharaoh doesn't attack?"
"He'll think of something Tea."
I play the magic card Twin Bow Centaur. Now I need to choose two monsters, one from my side of the field and one from your side of the field. Then my centaur will randomly choose one of them to remove from the game. I target Kaiba's Kaiser Glider and Mirror Knight Joseph!"
"Oh no! If that thing removes Joey from the game we'll never be able to get him back!"
"You're right, and if it hits Seto he'll lose most of his life points."
"Let's see who it will choose shall we?" Dartz snapped his fingers and the arrow pointing at Seto burst into flames.
"Looks like it's your unlucky day Mr. Kaiba." The arrow released from the bow and hit Seto's Kaiser Glider. The monster let out a screech before it shattered.
"Seto!"
"No!" Seto groaned and held his chest as his life points dropped to 600.
"Don't worry Mr. Kaiba. There is a bright side. My card requires me to end my turn."
"That is good news. Now I can do what your stupid little Siamese donkey twins couldn't. Different Dimension Dragon, remove Joey Wheeler from the game!"
"Kaiba don't! Please!"
"Save it! That amateur has held me back for the last time!"
"No! Don't do this!" Everyone watched as Mirror Knight Yugi stepped in front of Mirror Knight Joey, blocking the attack.
"Yugi just saved Joey." Dartz's maniacal laughter filled the room.
"Maybe you're right Pharaoh. Maybe friendship does conquer all. How cute."
"That's enough Dartz. I won't let you use my friends. I activate Mystical Space Typhoon." Dartz's centaur was destroyed with a strong gust of wind.
"You just wasted your turn getting rid of a monster I didn't need Pharaoh. Now, I summon Orichalcos Malevolence." A monster made out of molten lava appeared on the field, barring its teeth. "And due to the effect of my Orichalcos Deuteros, I gain another three thousand life points."
"No way! He has over fifteen thousand life points!"
"Yeah and my brother only has six hundred. One more attack and my brother is toast."
"I think we both know what has to happen now Mr. Kaiba. Don't fret; I'll make good use of your soul once it's mine. Orichalcos Malevolence attack his dragon! Goodbye Mr. Kaiba. It's been a blast." The lava monster smashed its fist on the ground, sending a burst of flames straight towards Seto's monster.
"No! Seto!"
"I activate my trap Attack Guidance Barrier! Now I can redirect your attack to a new monster and raise it's strength by six hundred! I choose Yugi's Big Shield Gardna!" At the last second, the attack shifted from Seto's monster to Yami's. The attack hit and got redirected straight at Dartz.
"That was a nice save Mr. Kaiba but due to the ability of my Kyutora, my life points are safe. And now your Gardna switches to Attack Mode."
"That may be true but your turn is through."
"Just go."
"You better hope nothing happens to me Yugi 'cause you can't do this alone. I'll start by switching my dragon to Defense Mode. I'll place two cards facedown and end my turn."
"I guess it's up to me now."
"You know what you have to do for us to win Yugi. You have to attack those Mirror Knights."
"I switch my Big Shield Gardna back into Defense Mode. Then I place one card facedown and end my turn."
"Please tell me this is a joke."
"It's quite obvious that neither of you will be able to stop me so why don't we just put you out of your misery." The sound of a motorcycle had the attention of everyone in the room pulled away from the duel. Said motorcycle entered the room then came to a stop right outside the Seal.
"It's Rafael!"
"You don't seem too happy to see me Dartz. The Pharaoh opened my eyes to the truth and it's because of him that I was able to escape the Seal of Orichalcos with my soul. Now I'm here to help him defeat you. Now release everyone before you end up on that wall!"
"Hm. The Seal may have spared your soul but apparently the Seal took the rest of your intelligence."
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"It means that you're just as gullible as ever. Do you honestly think that you're free of the darkness that once controlled you?"
"Yes. The Pharaoh set me free."
"Are you sure? Are you sure he didn't just trick you the way he claimed I did?"
"Shut up! You're messing with my head!"
"Perhaps. Face it Rafael. You're just like every one of these poor fools! They all gave into their dark side because they were evil just like the rest of the human race! That's why I was chosen to wipe them out. You can't walk away from the darkness because it's part of who you are. That's why I hired you."
"Well I'm through being angry with the world. I was just like the Pharaoh and his friends before you poisoned my mind!" Dartz began to laugh.
"I didn't have to poison your mind. The Seal of Orichalcos revealed who you truly are on the inside, a corrupt human filled with anger and hate just like everyone else in this room."
"Oh and I guess that makes you a saint? Is that right you freak?"
"I'm the one who was chosen to rebuild civilization and soon I will when I revive the Great Leviathan!"
"Well you won't be reviving the Great Leviathan anytime soon 'cause the Pharaoh and Seto are going to kick your ass you freak!" Dartz just smirked at Alissa before continuing.
"For ten thousand years I gathered the souls of mankind. Unfortunately time was beginning to run out so I needed some help."
"So you found us."
"I required three people who could help me with my plan. They had to be filled with enough anger and hate to tap the full power of the Seal of Orichalcos. But they needed a reason to hate the world just as much as I do. I knew when I found Alister, Valon, and yourself that I had found the three people I needed. However, it was necessary for me to influence certain events in your lives."
"What do you mean?"
"Let's start with Alister. His family was captured by Gozaburo Kaiba's tanks when he tried to take over their township."
"Is that story true Mokuba?"
"Unfortunately yes."
"What Alister doesn't know is that Kaiba's father didn't do a thing. I did."
"What?"
"Then there's Valon. He grew up in a juvenile delinquent center thanks again to me. I framed him for his first crime when he was nine. And how could I forget about you Rafael? Ah that stormy night."
"No. You couldn't have."
"Your captain didn't take you into that storm. I did."
"It was all your fault. You took my family away from me."
"Rafael you mustn't listen to him!"
"You ruined my life!" Rafael flipped out his duel disk as the Seal reappeared on his forehead. Rafael's Eatos appeared next to him, the Seal glowing red on her forehead.
"Rafael stop! You have to control your anger!"
"I'm afraid it's too late Pharaoh. His soul belongs to me now." Guardian Eatos exploded in a burst of light. The Seal that had appeared around Rafael slowly began to close around him. He let out a groan of pain then fell backwards like a lifeless doll.
"Oh no! He was captured!" The group outside the Seal rushed to Rafael's fallen body.
"Rafael!"
"Another soul lost, the closer I am to reviving the Great Beast."
"That's enough. This ends now Dartz."
"How right you are Pharaoh. I'm about to make the Seal of Orichalcos even stronger. I play Orichalcos Tritos!" The group watched as a third ring appeared around the Seal.
"Oh no! A third level? This can't be good!"
"How can that thing get any stronger?" Dartz's life points increased to 18500, earning a collective gasp from the group.
"His life points are out of control!"
"Orichalcos Malevolence use your special ability to switch Kaiba's dragon into Attack Mode! This looks like goodbye Mr. Kaiba. Now my monster, bring me Kaiba's soul!"
"That's what you think! I activate my Shrink card!" The third layer of the Seal began to pulsate and Seto's Shrink card shattered.
"Due to the third layer of the Seal of Orichalcos, your magic and trap cards are useless against me. As I was saying, destroy Kaiba's dragon Orichalcos Malevolence!" A burst of flames headed straight towards Seto's monster.
"Seto!"
"Hold on. I activate Ambush Shield! This allows me to sacrifice my Big Shield Gardna and transfer every one of its defense points to Different Dimension Dragon's attack points!"
"Different Dimension Dragon counterattack!" Dartz's monster exploded with a cloud of smoke and sparks.
"No matter, all the damage is absorbed by my Kyutora. Also, you just gave up your only defense to protect your teammate. Now you're open to four direct attacks. Mirror Knights strike down the Pharaoh!" All four knights attacked, bringing Yami's life points down to 1500. Yami groaned in pain and fell to one of his knees.
"Oh no!"
"Come on get up! Let's go!"
"I'll be fine, thanks for asking."
"Now I place one card facedown and end my turn. Go ahead and make your final move Kaiba."
"I play Fang of Critias! And if I know your dueling strategy as well as I think I do Yugi, I would say that your facedown card is your Mirror Force."
"That's right."
"Then I fuse Yugi's Mirror Force with Critias to form Mirror Force Dragon!"
"What are you going to attack Kaiba?"
"Come on Yugi. You know that there's no way we can beat this lunatic as long as those four knights are on the field."
"Kaiba no. You can't."
"They're just holograms. Dartz used one of his mind tricks to make them look like your lame friends so you'd be afraid to attack. Well if you aren't going to attack then allow me! Mirror Force Dragon attack his Pegasus knight!"
"He just attacked the one with the shield! Why would he do that?"
"Because he wants his attack to be reflected."
"Now I activate my dragon's special ability! Absorb reflection! Now I reflect the power I just absorbed back at all four of your knights!"
"Don't do it!"
"You may have tricked the rest of these dorks Dartz but I'm not that gullible. I invented this technology! I know you manipulated the holograms to put those dorks' heads on your knights! Now, Mirror Force Dragon, flatten those phonies!" Seto's dragon sent a ball of multicolored energy towards Dartz's knights. The attack exploded above the knights and rained down them in a multicolor show of lights.
"Yugi! Are you alright?"
"We're fine." Yugi's voice rang in Yami's ears. The knights shattered with a burst of light.
"They're gone."
"Nice move Kaiba, however my life points are safe. Although my Kyutora is about to be destroyed, before it goes it absorbs all of the attack damage."
"Well now you have no monsters to protect you."
"I beg to differ Kaiba. Take a closer look at my Kyutora!" As Dartz said this, his monster began to glow and shake.
"What's that thing doing?"
"Kyutora has yet another special ability. Whenever it's destroyed it evolves!" His monster exploded, sending a burst of light and smoke towards the other two duelists. A large green and blue monster made of metal appeared out of the smoke.
"What is that?"
"I'd like to introduce you to Orichalcos Shunoros."
"Oh no! That thing has twenty thousand points!"
"You seem surprised gentlemen. You shouldn't be because you're the ones who created this beast. You may have destroyed my previous monsters but now you've released something much worse."
"That thing can knock us out with one attack."
"You're right Pharaoh but before I do that, I have more unfortunate news to share with you. Orichalcos Shunoros has a special ability! Release Orichalcos Dexia and Orichalcos Aristeros." The arms of the creature suddenly detached and moved forward, forming a shield around the monster.
"What's going on?"
"Allow me to explain. Shunoros just released two more unstoppable creatures. The first one is Orichalcos Dexia and its attack strength is always three hundred points higher than the creature it's battling. Then there's Aristeros. It intercepts every attack and retaliates with an attack that's three hundred points greater than the one you fired."
"How are they going to destroy that thing? Seto's dragon is weaker, and even if they did attack, their attacks wouldn't even get through with those other two monsters blocking their attacks."
"I activate the Trap Card Martyr Curse. This card forces one of your monsters to engage in combat with my monster. Also, it cancels out any special ability that your creature has. Since I don't have any other choice, I'll target Kaiba's Mirror Force Dragon! Without it's reflecting power your dragon is defenseless. You know what that means don't you? It means you're about to be out one soul."
"Oh no."
"Orichalcos Shunoros, remove Kaiba's life points so the Orichalcos can remove his spirit!" Everyone watched in horror as Dartz's monster released a ring of dark energy that glowed an eerie green. "Photon Ring Blast!" Seto's monster let out an ear-shattering roar as the ring hit, cutting it to pieces. Like a deadly boomerang, the ring of energy swung back around and headed straight for Seto.
"Ta-ta Kaiba. We can't keep the Great Leviathan waiting."
"Seto!
"Kaiba no!" Yami's cry was uttered just as the ring of energy collided with Kaiba's stomach. The force of the attack sent the young CEO flying backwards into the dueling barrier. He bounced off of it, sending green waves of electricity through the air. He stumbled forward, somehow managing to stay on his feet.
"Orichalcos one, Kaiba zip."
"Oh no. Kaiba are you alright? Kaiba!"
"I'm not done." With great effort, Seto lifted his arm. "Activate trap!" Suddenly, Yami began to glow, his life points increased, reaching 4300.
"It's called Wish of Final Effort. It converts all of my dragon's attack points into your life points Yugi." Seto's breathing was heavy and uneven. He let out a groan of pain and fell to his knees. Yami rushed forward just in time to catch Seto before his whole body hit the floor.
"Kaiba wait! Hold on!" The group outside the Seal watched in horror as the CEO hit the floor. Mokuba and Alissa rushed forward and started hitting the barrier.
"Seto! Come on get up!"
"Seto? Seto! Are you okay? Get up!"
"Say something."
"Don't screw up. I've come too far so you can't lose this. Now win Yugi!" Seto let out another groan of pain then went still in Yami's arms.
"I will Kaiba. I promise."
"Pharaoh. It looks like you're the soul survivor." The group watched as the Seal slowly closed around Seto. A bright light shot out of Seto's body; his soul, and appeared on a blank spot on the wall.
"You disgust me."
"Tell you what Pharaoh. Since I already have what I need, you can keep the rest of him!" Dartz pointed a finger at Seto and his lifeless body slowly began to lift into the air. Dartz flicked his arm and Seto went flying out of the Seal.
"Somebody catch him!" Mokuba ran forward and caught his brother's body before he hit the floor.
"Oh no! Kaiba!" Alissa and Mokuba got on their knees next to him in an instant.
"Come on Bro. You've gotta get up!" Tears ran down the younger Kaiba's cheeks.
"Seto this isn't funny! Get up! Please!" She put a hand on his cheek and instantly recoiled. His skin was like ice.
"I know you're in there! Please open your eyes!"
"On the contrary, I'm afraid you're talking to an empty shell. Your brother has graciously donated his life force to the Great Beast."
"No. That's not fair! Give him back Dartz!" Suddenly, the room began to shake.
"What's going on?"
"Do you hear that? Thanks to Mr. Kaiba's rather generous donation, the Great Beast is almost ready!" Alissa felt her blood start to boil.
"Shut up! Give him back! Give them all back! Who the hell do you think you are? If you think you're getting away with hurting my friends you have another thing coming! I'll kill you!"
"Hm. I'm shaking."
"You should be." Alissa's body suddenly began to glow. A gust of wind spun around her, lifting her hair. Her hair changed to a white blonde color and her eyes glowed a deep blue.
"What's going on with Alissa?" A burst of light shot out from her body, briefly blinding everyone in the room. When the light cleared they gasped.
"Is that what I think it is?"
"It's Blue Eyes!" A Blue Eyes White Dragon stood in front of the now white haired Alissa. The dragon let out a roar and dove towards Dartz.
"Alissa don't!" The dragon screeched when it hit the barrier. The dragon exploded in a burst of white light and electricity. The wind that whipped around Alissa slowly came to a stop. Her hair and eye color returned to normal as she reached a hand up to clutch at her chest. She fell to her knees then face first onto the ground. She tried to pull herself back up but her body felt heavy as lead. Black spots began to cloud her vision. She heard voices filtering in and out. She caught sight of Dartz smirking in triumph before everything went black.

Well there we have it. Chapter thirteen done. In the very last part, Alissa' didn't summon the Blue Eyes White Dragon with a card. The Blue Eyes White Dragon is her Ka. Hopefully that part was clear, I tried to make it as clear as I could. Also, it's probably extremely clichéd that her Ka is the Blue Eyes but you know what it's a fanfiction; I'll do what I want with it. My thinking for the ending is that if the Dartz and the Orichalcos can drain the power of the God cards, then it shouldn't be a problem to drain someone's Ka. Hopefully this author's note cleared up any confusion but if there are still some things that are confusing, don't be afraid to ask for me to clear them up.
