I apologize for yet another chapter being posted late. I was watching fireworks, kept forgetting, and had a horrible case of writer's block. So sorry for the delay.

Canada Day
"I don't know about this..." Lionpaw criticized. "With all the to-bes jumping for training, it kinda just looks like an acrobatics show."
"If only I could LOOK!" Jaypaw snapped. "Do you know how many cliffs I have fallen off already?!"
"Chill." Hollypaw mumbled around a mouthful of eagle. "This'll all be over soon, and then we can all go back to eating real food and getting as fat as Graystripe."
The conversation was interrupted when Jaypaw's cellphone rang. He fished it out of his pocket, and held it up to his ear. "Hello?" A voice on the other side chattered for a few seconds, before Jaypaw handed it over to Hollypaw. "It's for you."
"Hello?" She asked, holding it up to her ear.
"I'M NOT FAT!" Came scream from the other side.
She handed the phone back to Jaypaw, slightly dazed.
"Who was it?" Lionpaw questioned.
"Graystripe." She whispered, massaging her ear.
"Wow. Good connection up here." Lionpaw stated.
They watched as Crag was carried off by an eagle for the fifth time that morning.
...
Jaypaw watched as the Tribe marched off to battle the invaders. Borders had been set and peace had been turned down, so this was the outcome. With a sigh, the apprentice sat down, and glanced over at a flower blooming by the waterfall.
Carelessly, he began plucking off the petals. "Should I tell them about the prophecy. Should I not. Should I tell them about the prophecy." He mumbled to himself.
...
Inside the cave where the invaders lived...
...
"Remember," Lionpaw hissed. "This mission requires maximum stealth."
"Way ahead of you." Hollypaw was dressed all in black, and was giving the end of a wire to Breezepaw. "Lower me down." She whispered.
Slowly, she was lowered into the cave in which the enemy slept unaware. Her legs were extended, keeping off the ground, until she had thoroughly tested for lasers. Then, ever so carefully, she was lowered until her paws touched the ground.
"I'm ready." She hissed into her watch.
"Rodger." Came Lionpaw's static voice. "Begin operation."
"Okay." Hollypaw sucked in a huge breath of air, before shouting, "I'M A NINJA! ALL MUST FEAR ME!"
Screams filled the cavern.
"Eeek!"
"Gasp! A ninja!"
"Fear it!"
"Run!"
"Fear the ninja!"
"I can't see!"
"You're stepping on my paw!"
"Help, a ninja!"
"Where?"
"I'm so afraid!"
"It's so awesome!"
And so forth.
...
In the cave of pointed stones...
...
"Should I? Or should I not?" Jaypaw mumbled.
"I don't bloody know!" Snapped a cat in the Tribe of Endless Hunting. "And I don't bloody care!"
...
Back at the battle...
...
"Ha, ha! Fear me!" Hollypaw was dancing around, creating fear in the hearts of many, while others actually did some fighting.
"Check out my buffness!" Roared Lionpaw, punching cats in the face. This was possibly the best moment of his life.
He now faced a tough enemy, one that would not back down. With a growl, his prepared to fight. Finally, there was a tap on his shoulder. "Lionpaw," Started a voice. Hollypaw's voice to be exact. "The battle is over there. In front of you is a rock."
"Huh?" Lionpaw's vision had turned red in all the bloodshed, and he now saw his foe clearly. "Oh. Umm... I was just... Making sure the rock knew it's place..." His face was hot with embarrassment, before he turned and charged away at full speed.
...
About five minutes later...
...
"All right! Who wants to fight me now!" Lionpaw roared, blood coating his pelt.
"Ugh! Brother, you're filthy!" Hollypaw grabbed him by the ear. "Great! Just great! Now you're going to loose too much blood, and I'll have to carry you back to the cave. And what if Jaypaw can't cure you, and you die? Then who will I tease and yell at? Before dying, at least think of who WE feel. You need more manners! How could you even think about dying?"
"I-I didn't! You just assumed-" Lionpaw protested as he was dragged back to the waterfall.
"Not another word!" Hollypaw interrupted. "You're going to waste your breath, and end up suffocating, or waste too much energy. Then you'll die, and we'll be back in the same situation. With you up there eating till you're stuffed, and me still starving back down here, until I get home. Don't even think about dying and leaving your sister in so much pain! You are the worst!Just how could you even think about it? Like I said, not another word, Mister!"
"Jaypaw..." Lionpaw croaked. "...Help?"
His brother looked up from the herbs he was shuffling through. "Brother, you're filthy." He stated, before ignoring the two.
"Honestly!" Hollypaw hissed. "Go clean yourself off! Even Jaypaw agrees with me, and he can't see!"
"Fine!" Lionpaw snapped, marching over to the waterfall. He delicately dipped a paw in, testing the water. Unfortunately he failed to notice Jaypaw sneaking up behind him. The next thing he knew, a paw was pushing him into the water.
Jaypaw watched as Lionpaw was swept over the edge by the current, and drifted out of sight. "Did I ever mention there's going to be fireworks tonight?" Jaypaw asked to nobody in particular.
"Ooh! Fireworks?" Lionpaw suddenly appeared beside them. "Aren't those the things that go boom?"
"Yes, or you could be talking about dynamite." Hollypaw informed him, glancing back at where some of the tribe was debating between sticks of dynamite and fireworks.
...
That night...
...
Jaypaw was pouting in the corner, as he did most days. "Why do most holidays suck when you're blind?" He kept muttering to himsef.
"Shh!" Hissed Hollypaw. "It's starting!"
The moment she said it, bright bursts of red and blue lit up the sky, followed by showers of green and sprinkles of gold. It was so pretty, like an elegant dance of colour.
"Awesome..." Lionpaw whispered, while somewhere far off, Crag was carried off by yet another eagle.
"NO FAIR!" Jaypaw whined.
"Why are there fireworks anyway?" Wondered Hollypaw.
"No idea." Lionpaw replied.
"Oh yeah!" Jaypaw suddenly perked up. "I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but there's kinda this prophecy about the three of us saving the world. But I'm not sure if it's important or not."
Again sorry for being so late.
Don't forget to review!
