Seto's fingers danced across the keys of his computer as he typed out line after line of coding. He yawned and rubbed the tiredness from his eyes before he continued typing. It had been a couple weeks since his breakup with Alissa and he was still torn up about. However, this time, instead of wallowing in self-pity he threw himself head first into his work. For the past couple weeks he'd be in his office from six o' clock in the morning until well past midnight the following day. A couple days he hadn't even gone home. Mokuba noticed his brother's odd behavior and it worried him. The last time he was this busy was the Battle City Tournament, and even then he got at least a few hours of sleep each night. Now, Seto was lucky if he got more than four or five.
"Seto?"
"Why are you still here Mokuba? I thought I told you to have Roland take you home hours ago."
"I was waiting for you."
"And I told you that I'd be a while and to go home without me."
"I've hardly seen you the past couple weeks."
"I've been busy."
"It's almost midnight Seto. You should come home."
"I'm well aware of what time it is Mokuba and I'm not leaving until I finish with these codes."
"But you've haven't been getting any sleep lately. You're going to work yourself too hard."
"I'm fine, Mokuba."
"No you aren't. You haven't been taking care of yourself lately. How would Alissa feel if she knew? Have you even talked to her recently or have you been neglecting her too?"
"I couldn't care less about what Alissa thinks."
"Is that what's been bothering you recently? Did you guys have a fight?"
"We broke up."
"What? When? What happened?"
"It doesn't matter now. Our relationship is in the past where it belongs."
"I don't know why you're keeping things from me Seto. We're family, we're supposed to be a team!"
"I'm your older brother, I don't need to tell you everything." Mokuba looked at his brother, shocked. Seto had never spoken to him like that before. The two had always been close. Inseparable even. Seto's statement made Mokuba wonder what else his older brother may be keeping from him.
"Fine Seto. But I wish you'd stop pushing me away like I'm the enemy!" Seto sighed and let his head fall into his hands after Mokuba slammed the door after his exit. He hadn't meant to upset him; he just didn't want to talk about his and Alissa's breakup. He decided that he'd talk to Mokuba before heading back to the office in the morning and resumed his work. Rain pounded on the windows and thunder cracked outside as Seto continued his work. Suddenly, the power in his office went out. Great, the power went out, just what I fucking needed. Suddenly, his computer flashed and turned to static. The static cleared to reveal the face of Bakura, one of Seto's old classmates.
"It's been quite a while hasn't it Kaiba?"
"Can I help you with something?" he asked with an amused raise of his eyebrows. Bakura smirked before holding up the unconscious form of the younger Kaiba.
"Mokuba!"
"I don't think he can hear you Kaiba. Perhaps you would have better luck communicating with him if you brought your deck and your duel disk up to the roof." The screen turned to static then turned off again. Fine. If that freak wants a duel, I'll give him one that he'll never forget.

Yugi walked through the Domino Airport towards his gate with a serious expression on his face. The sound of his name being called stopped him.
"Hey, Yugi!"
"Wait up Yug!" Yugi turned to see Joey, Tristan, Tea, and Alissa running towards him, all bearing a few bags of luggage.
"What are you guys doing here?" The four friends paused to catch their breaths before answering.
"Whaaddaya think Yug?" Joey asked with a smile.
"We're all coming to Egypt with you Dude!"
"You don't have to do that you guys."
"You kiddin'? We wouldn't miss dis for da world!"
"That's right! Besides, Joey and I finished our summer class, what better way to celebrate the end of four weeks of torture than going with our best friend to Egypt?"
"Besides, Tea and Alissa bought da tickets."
"Try, I leant you the money. You two conveniently forgot your wallets." Tea said with a glare.
"Augh dat's what I meant, I'll pay ya guys back."
"The thing that matters is that we aren't letting you take this trip alone."
"Alissa's right. We know how important this is to you and we wouldn't miss it."
"Thanks. You guys are the best."
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"
"I call a window seat!" Alissa exclaimed, running ahead of the group.
"Not if I get dere first Alissa!" Joey called, running to catch up with her. The three others grinned and rolled their eyes before following their friends to the gate. Not much later, the group of five was seated on the plane and in the air. Alissa sat at the window with Yugi next to her, followed by Tea. Joey and Tristan sat in the two seats across the aisle from them. Alissa rested her elbow on the armrest then rested her chin in her hands. She was happy to get out of the country on a trip with her friends. She hadn't said anything about it, but she hoped that being away from Domino City for a week or two would help her get over her breakup with Seto. Even though she was leading on that she was over it, she was far from it. She yawned and reached for her neck pillow to take a little nap. With the gentle hum of the engine, it didn't take long for her to fall asleep.

"I love you," the woman said, placing another kiss on the dark haired man's lips. The man cupped her cheeks and intensely kissed her back. She pulled away slowly and looked up at the sky.
"It's almost sunrise. I should leave. I'll be back tomorrow evening." He kissed her lightly before speaking.
"I'll be waiting." The couple kissed a final time before the woman climbed back into earthenware pitcher and started to cross the river. The woman quickly made it across and hid her pitcher in its usual spot before heading back to her home and husband. Little did the woman know that her sister-in-law had seen everything. The loathsome sister in law replaced the hard pitcher with a soft, unbaked one then left. The following night, the woman climbed into her pitcher and started to cross the river. To her horror, the clay began to dissolve and soon she was thrown into the fierce tide of the river. Her lover watched from the other shore as she drowned. He threw himself in after her, not knowing that it was already too late to save his beloved. The intense tides soon pushed him under. He fought with all his strength before the tide won. I'm sorry Sohni, he thought. I love you.

Alissa woke with a start. Her movements jostled a sleeping Yugi. He yawned and pulled his head up from his elbow.
"Alisa, are you alright?"
"Yeah I'm fine." Her voice didn't sound convincing.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I just had a weird dream. I'll be fine."
"I thought you stopped having those."
"I did too." And that was the truth. It had been quite a few weeks since her last weird dream.
"Maybe you could talk to someone when we get to Egypt. We're meeting up with a woman named Ishizu who is really good with spiritual stuff. I'm sure she'd be able to decipher the meaning of your dreams without a problem."
"I hope so. Sorry if I woke you up Yug."
"It's not a problem Alissa. Are you sure you're okay?"
"Yeah, of course I am. You can go back to sleep if you want. I'll be fine." Yugi nodded slowly before resting his head on his elbow again. Alissa looked out of the window as her mind wandered. These dreams always confused her. They seemed to come out of nowhere and they didn't seem connected. The only similarity in all the dreams was the theme of lovers of some sort. But in her dreams, the lovers never got a happy ending. She wondered if they had anything to do with her thoughts and emotions after her breakup, but she quickly trashed that theory due to the fact that the dreams were happening far before she and Seto had broken up. Something else that kind of confused her and freaked her out was the fact that the couple always bore some sort of resemblance to herself and Seto. She began to wonder if Yami's talk of past lives wasn't just fairytales. Maybe, it was all very, very real.
