"Thank God we're on the ground again!" Alissa said as she stretched. "If I had to be on that plane any longer I was going to kill someone." The five friends had just landed and were now walking through the airport terminal.

"Oh, hold on a second guys. I'll be right back," Tea said, walking up to the glass case of Egyptian souvenirs.

"Are ya kiddin' me? We haven't even left da airport and she's shoppin' already?"

"Ah, cut her a break Joey. Besides, that stuff looks kick ass," Alissa replied, walking over to stand next to Tea.

"Pft, women."

"I'll take the snow globe with the pyramid in it," Tea told the cashier, pointing to it behind the glass.

"Could I get the mini sarcophagus please?" Alissa asked. The girls paid then returned to the boys.

"Great, now everyone knows we're tourists."

"Oh, shut it Tristan, so are they."

"Hey Yugi! Over here!" The group turned in the direction of the voice. A boy with shoulder length blond hair, tanned skin, and lavender colored eyes was waving his hand above his head. A woman with long dark hair and blue eyes stood to his left. A man with a single patch of hair in a ponytail and a tattoo over his left eye stood to his right.

"Hey, it's Marik. What's up?" Yugi asked as he and his friends approached the trio.

"Long time no see huh guys?" Joey asked with a big grin.

"I'll say," Marik agreed. "There's so much to talk about. Where do we being?"

"Marik, Ishizu, Odion, this is Alissa." Alissa smiled and waved.

"So whaaddaya say we all go get some lunch? How are da burger joints out here?" Ishizu nodded and turned to Yugi.

"May I please speak with The Pharaoh?" Yami and Yugi switched places quickly.

"Hello Ishizu."

"Welcome my King. You've finally come home. You still have quite a long journey ahead of you and we are so honored to be your guides."

"Please, the pleasure's mine." A few minutes later, the gang was loaded into two green land rovers. The boys all piled into one land rover and the girls piled into the other. In the car with Ishizu, Alissa sat in the passenger seat next to the Egyptian woman. Tea sat in the back.

"So, Ishizu, Yugi told me that you're really good with spiritual stuff."

"Yes."

"I know we should focus on The Pharaoh right now but can I ask you something?"

"Of course."

"I've been having a lot of weird dreams lately and I was wondering if you'd be able to figure out what they mean."

"I can't guarantee that I'll be able to figure it out for sure, but I'll try." Alissa thanked her and began to explain the events of all her weird dreams.

"None of the dreams really seem connected," Alissa finished. "Except for the fact that the couple always has some sort of resemblance to me and my old boyfriend."

"Were you and your old boyfriend together when these dreams began?"

"Yeah we were."

"When did these premonitions of the past start happening?"

"That's what they are? So they aren't just dreams."

"They seem to be much more than just dreams. When did they first start happening?"

"A couple months ago."

"And they just started happening without any warning?"

"Well, they started happening after my accident."

"An accident? What kind of accident?"

"I contracted Primary Amebic Meningoencephalitis. I should've died, but I guess they caught it early enough. My old boyfriend would have sued the whole hospital if I died too so that's probably part of the reason why I survived."

"Is it out of place for me to ask who your old boyfriend was?"

"No. Um, Seto Kaiba."

"Ah yes, Mr. Kaiba seems to have a deep seeded denial of his past."

"You told him about his past lives?" Ishizu nodded before continuing.

"You said that the dreams started after your accident?"

"Yeah."

"Did you experience any brain damage from your accident?"

"Well I got amnesia for a while."

"You experienced head trauma?"

"Yeah…I don't understand why that matters though."

"Some people who have had head trauma at some point in their lifetime believe that they started having premonitions of the past. Of course, no one really knows for sure, but if that's when you started having your 'dreams' then I'd consider it more than a coincidence."

"So what do all those visions of the past mean?"

"Much like Mr. Kaiba and The Pharaoh, your and Mr. Kaiba's destinies seem to be intertwined."

"Okay? So what does that mean?"

"It means that no matter how hard you both try, you'll always find a way into each other's hearts."

"Pft, well not this time. At least in this life we split before we both ended up dead." Ishizu frowned sadly but didn't say anything.

"We're here."

"Wait, so you're telling me Yugi left the country?" Seto asked, staring at Roland's face on the monitor.

"Yes Sir. Our flight logs indicate that Yugi left on a direct flight to Cairo with four companions yesterday." Seto nodded and ended the video call. Why would the geek squad fly to Egypt? Why now? His gaze fell on the Millennium Eye that Bakura had thrown at him at the conclusion of their duel a couple nights ago. He recalled how Bakura had told him to come to Egypt to learn the secrets of his past. Seto scoffed at the memory and turned to look out the window of his office. Bakura must've gotten to Yugi too. The very familiar but faint sound of a roar reached his ears. He frowned and turned to the Millennium Eye, which was now glowing. I could've sworn I just heard Blue Eyes.

"Alissa. Come on rise and shine!" Alissa groaned and slowly pulled herself into a sitting position. She took in her surroundings and frowned. The gang was in a large room filled with upside-down stairs and thousands of doors.

"Where are we?" Tea asked,

"We're inside the Millennium Puzzle remember?" Yugi answered.

"Oh yeah. That creepy guy in the turban sent us here after he told us about Bakura." Suddenly, a man in a turban appeared next to the group of five. Alissa jumped in surprise.

"Would you quit doing that, you scared the shit out of me!" Tea elbowed her in the ribs and tossed her a fierce glare.

"Alissa, shh. He's here to help us."

"This puzzle is a reflection of The Pharaoh's mind," the man began. "It's ever-changing."

"Dat explains why dis place is so complicated."

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go find The Pharaoh."

"Alright Shadi ol' pal. Use dat Millennium ding and point us in da right direction."

"It's a Millennium Key!"

"Lead the way Shadi."

Seto sat in his office the following day, staring down at one of his three Blue Eyes White Dragon cards. What is it with Yugi and all his dorky little friends? Don't they see that this is all just a card game? Seto dropped his gaze to the Millennium Eye still on his desk.

"What are you looking at?" he asked aloud before grabbing it and holding it in front of his face. "I'm not flying to Egypt and I'm not letting you change my mind. Look at me, I'm talking to some golden, antique eyeball." Suddenly he heard a ringing sound coming from the Eye. What is that? He brought it closer to his face to inspect it. A vision of himself dressed in Ancient Egyptian garments flashed through his mind. He was standing on the balcony of a palace talking to someone who resembled an Ancient Egyptian version of Yugi. He gasped and dropped the Eye to the floor. This has to be a trick. And I'm going to prove them all wrong and put a stop to it.

"All these doors are really not making the search for The Pharaoh any easier."

"I know, every time I open one, I find fifty more."

"If we don't find The Pharaoh soon I'm going to lose it!"

"Are you sure you haven't already Tristan?"

"Shut it Alissa, you aren't helping."

"Sorry, I was just trying to provide some fun banter to help pass the time," she said defensively.

"I don't think time even exists here you guys. My watch stopped working."

"Great."

"Hey guys, it's dat one." The blond haired boy pointed to the door in front of him.

"How do you know Joey?"

"Because I have instincts."

"Well, I say we break it down on three."

"Three!" Tristan and Joey charged the door together. Before they could be warned, they had shoved the door open and fell over the chasm behind it. The two yelled in surprise and quickly grabbed onto the ledge. The rest of the group looked up to see the blond and brunet's feet dangling above them.

"That's weird. How can they be down here and up there at the same time."

"Let's just pull them up and ask questions later." The three pulled the two boys up onto stable ground.

"So much for instincts Joey!"

"Bite me Tristan!"

"Many of the doors in the Millennium Puzzle contain traps." Great, Alissa thought. Just what we needed.

"Maybe Yugi could find him. He was closest to him after all. I bet if you concentrate, you'll be able to figure out what door The Pharaoh is behind."

"I'll try Tea. Pharaoh? Can you hear me? We're inside the Millennium Puzzle! Pharaoh!" After that didn't work, the group continued down multiple paths to find the door hiding The Pharaoh.

"Oh no!"

"What are you complaining about now Joey?"

"Dat!" He pointed to a badly drawn smiley face drawn on a door in red marker.

"A badly drawn face?"

"I marked da doors we already past so we'd know we already came down dis path."

"Hey, that's pretty smart Joey."

"But if we get out of here, you should invest in art classes."

"Very funny Tea."

"I thought it was a good one," Shadi said with a chuckle.

"Yeah whateva'."

"Drop it Joey. We need to find the right door and arguing isn't helping."

"We're goin' ta be stuck in here foreva wid a ghost in a bathrobe!"

"For your information, it's a sacred cloak."

"Cloak, bathrobe. Whateva, point is we're trapped!"

"And you're making it worse!"

"Tea, Joey, stop it. I think Yugi found something." The rest of the group looked at Yugi, who was standing in front of a door.

"Is dat da door Yug?"

"I'm not sure, but I have the feeling that there's something behind this one." Yugi gripped the door handle and turned it.

"Be careful Dude." The group stood behind him as he opened it.

"Pharaoh?"

"Is that you?" A shadowy figure stood in the darkness. Suddenly the room was bathed in light and the figure was revealed as Ryou Bakura.

"Hey, Bakura." The innocent face of the white haired boy suddenly changed into a much more sinister and malevolent one.

"Augh! What's he doin' here?" Bakura laughed and began to glow before the head of a vicious creature burst out of his body.

"Augh! What is that?"

"I say we try da next door!" The creature let out a burst of fire from its mouth, sending the teens backwards and out of the room.

"Hey, is everyone okay?"

"Ya mean besides da really bad sunburn?"

"We're fine Tristan."

Yugi ran into the now empty room.

"It's gone!"

"Good." Shadi suddenly appeared again.

"You have now seen The Pharaoh's enemy in his true form."

"His true enemy? You mean Bakura?"

"Okay, did it just get warm in here again?"

"Yes, that is because this labyrinth is a reflection of The Pharaoh's heart. The temperature changes according to his emotions. You must listen carefully to locate The Pharaoh."

"Of course. This whole time, we've been knocking on his door when we really should've been waiting for him to knock for us."

"It is not easy. You must listen with your heart."

"Let's do dis den! I bet if we all concentrate hard enough at da same time, we'll be able ta hear him."

"Yeah! Hands in!" The group f five friends all formed a circle and stuck one of their hands in. They closed their eyes to concentrate. The group heard the voice of The Pharaoh before they were bathed in a burst of white light.
