SO, Hell Week is kicking my butt. For those of you who aren't familiar with theatre, that's what many people call tech week (the week prior to opening night). So yeah, Grease opens tomorrow and I'm pretty sure I have no bones anymore. The Hand Jive killed me. Seriously, bruises and pulled limbs everywhere. Anyhoo, no one cares about my life, you guys are here for the story. I hope you guys enjoy the chapter.

Are you there God? It's me. Alissa. Look, I'm sorry about that one time in kindergarten when I stuck gum in Sally Bryce's hair and I'm really sorry that I sort of doubted your existence for the past five years but please, for the love of everything holy, put me out of my misery!...Nothing.
"Learn to keep up. I don't have all day." The sound of Seto's voice brought Alissa's attention to the CEO.
"Don't tell me what to do," she sassed, picking up the pace to fall in next to him. "You know this is just my luck. Out of all the people in the world, I just had to be stuck in Ancient Egypt with you. I could've gotten stuck with that punk in second grade who always pulled my pigtails, but nooo, I just had to get stuck here with you!" He rolled his eyes before responding.
"Yeah well you're no peach either so you could say the feeling's mutual. Besides, I don't recall ever asking you to follow me." She scoffed.
"Get over yourself. I'm not following you. I'm looking for my friends and you just so happen to be going in the same direction I need to go." He snorted in disbelief. A brief silence fell between the two before Alissa broke it.
"What are you even doing here Kaiba? I thought you didn't believe in this stuff."
"I don't. I'm obviously hallucinating again."
"Again? Do you have hallucinations frequently? If you do you should see a psychiatrist." He set his jaw but decided it was best to ignore her comment.
"There were probably some gases in that tomb that we shouldn't have breathed in and it's causing us to hallucinate."
"Oh, well if this is all a hallucination, there's been something I've been dying to do." She nonchalantly kicked her foot into his shin. He grimaced in pain before throwing a glare at her.
"Ow! What the hell?"
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I thought you wouldn't feel that, after all this is all just a hallucination."
"You're out of line! Grow up already!"
"You can't seriously be suggesting that I'm the one that needs to grow up?"
"That's exactly what I'm suggesting."
"Well then you're a hypocrite."
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me."
"Your attitude is really starting to aggravate me."
"Yeah, well right back at ya asshole."As the two walked through the village, a pair of young Egyptian boys chased each other in their direction. Suddenly, the two boys passed through Seto's body as if he were immaterial. He froze; his eyes open wide in shock. Ha, told you this stuff was real, Alissa thought.
"Told you this stuff was real."
"This doesn't make any sense! Those kids went right through me. It's as if I don't really exist here."
"That's what I've been saying Dip Shit! We're five thousand years in the past, of course we didn't exist yet."
"But it doesn't make any sense!"
"Seto!" a voice suddenly called. "Is that you?" The pair looked up to see a girl with long, white hair and blue eyes running towards them. It's the Ancient Egyptian me!
"Alissa, she looks like you."
"Because it is me." The girl came to a slow stop in front of the brunet and frowned sadly.
"Hold on, you're not Seto. You look like him." Seto gasped as it finally dawned on him. He recognized the girl in front of him as the girl from his visions he had during Battle City.
"Wait, I know you! You're that girl I saw in my vision! You're Kisara."
"But who are you? And why are you dressed in those strange clothes?"
"First, I have a few questions of my own. Where are we and why are you the only one that can see me?"
"There's an evil force that's threatening our land. If we don't do something quickly it'll be too late."
"Hmph, you expect me to believe that?"
"You can believe whatever you wish Sir, but the darkness is coming. And I've got to warn Seto! Farwell Stranger!" The pair watched as Kisara ran away in search of the ancient Seto.
"She couldn't see me."
"Well if she's supposed to be you like you claim she is, it would make sense that she couldn't see you. Where did you get the idea that Kisara is you anyway?"
"Those weird dreams I've been having are apparently visions of the past. One of them had Kisara in them. Besides, you said yourself that she looks like me."
"It's obviously some kind of coincidence."
"Just like this is all a hallucination? Oh, speaking of, why didn't you tell me that you were experiencing visions too?"
"Because they didn't mean anything. They were obviously brought on by stress from organizing and competing in my own tournament."
"Believe whatever the hell you want to believe, but according to Ishizu those visions mean something. There's a reason that in every single one of my visions the two main people involved look like us, but if you want to be ignorant to that fact then be my guest."
"And what would that reason be hm?"
"That my visions of the past are about us. Ishizu said that in every lifetime, we'll always find a way into each other's hearts." He scoffed.
"Do you even hear yourself? What do you think this is, a sappy romance novel?"
"I'm just telling you what Ishizu told me, but whether you choose to believe me or not, those visions mean something."
"Yeah, whatever. I'm curious to see where that girl is going. Since she can see me, she can probably get me out of this dump." He turned and began to walk in the direction that Kisara went.
"Kaiba wait! We should probably stay together! You heard what Kisara said, something bad is about to happen!"
"I can take care of myself."
"That's not the point."
"If you enjoy my company that much, then by all means come along."
"Pft, as if," she scoffed, catching up to him. "The only reason I'm in your company is because I have to be." Seto rolled his eyes but stayed silent. There was no point in starting another argument. Although they both acted like they hated each other, neither one of them would deny the fact that they enjoyed being back in the other's company.

Ugh this chapter is SUPER short and I'm SO sorry about that. But I am EXHAUSTED and I need to sleep. Especially since we have another run through before opening tomorrow and I have to be there EXTRA early for makeup, mic check, and hair. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter despite the short length and I PROMISE that the next one will be longer. Until next time, peace out girl scouts.
