Next chapter, woohoo! So, this chapter takes an unexpected turn, unexpected even for me. My fingers just had a mind of their own. Anyhoo, read on!

"So, who is Zorc exactly?" Alissa asked as she watched the large, bat-winged demon stomp in the distance.

"Zorc created the Shadow Realm."

"Great, so that demon thing is basically the definition of evil."

"Now do you believe me Kaiba? We're all in danger."

"Whatever, Yugi. For all I know, this whole thing is just a bad dream."

"Try telling that to him." The Pharaoh tilted his head towards where Priest Seto still mourned over Kisara's lifeless body.

"Hmph, some guy who looks like me lost his girlfriend so I should feel bad?"

"You know what, you're a real asshole Kaiba!" Alissa snapped. "I'm so glad to know that's how you feel about me dying!"

"Grow up! That girl isn't you! None of this is real!" Alissa huffed and crossed her arms in front of her chest.

"Have it your way Kaiba," The Pharaoh said over his shoulder as he approached his horse. Priest Seto climbed onto the horse behind The Pharaoh and the two rode away to fight Zorc. Alissa threw a final glare in Kaiba's direction before following The Pharaoh.

"Where are you going?"

"Like you care," she snapped, turning her attention back to him. "I thought what I was doing was pretty obvious." He scoffed but took a few large strides to stand next to her anyway. She glared up at him, her lips pressed into a thin line.

"Excuse me, did I say that you can tag along?"

"I don't need permission from anyone, especially you. Besides, I'd like to see how this all plays out." She crossed her arms and began walking again.

"Whatever." The two followed thee hoof prints of the horse to find The Pharaoh. An extremely uncomfortable silence had fallen between the two as they walked. In retrospect, following him on foot when he's on horseback probably wasn't the smartest choice, Alissa thought. Who knows what kind of trouble he'll be in by the time we reach him. Suddenly, the ground beneath them began to shake intensely. The strength of the tremors sent Alissa falling backwards.

"The hell?" She carefully pulled herself to her feet, stumbling every now and then because of the ground's erratic movement. She couldn't help but frown as she noticed Seto was completely balanced despite the shaking. How? Is this asshole part cat? An ear-shattering roar had the two running down the ridge towards the sound. They stopped when they caught sight of the Egyptian Gods facing off against a purple skinned demon with bat like wings and large horns. A dragon like head with razor sharp teeth protruded from the demon's belly. The Pharaoh, Priest Seto, and hundreds of soldiers stood behind the Egyptian Gods.

"It's them!" Seto exclaimed in shock. "It's Slifer, Obelisk, and Ra, but they look to realistic to be holograms."

"Do you believe that this stuff is real now?"

"But this doesn't make any sense!"

"Not everything has to make sense. Like it or not, this is all really happening." She looked at Zorc and grimace. "He's even uglier when he's close up and not just a silhouette."

"Well he shouldn't be around much longer. No one is strong enough to beat the Egyptian Gods, well, no one other than me."

"Hm, modest. You know, I'd have an easier time agreeing with you if you'd actually beaten them before." His eyes narrowed and he let out a low growl.

"Whatever." All three Egyptian Gods attacked, giving the purple skinned demon all that they had. Blue and red flashed through the sky as Obelisk and Slifer performed their final attacks.

"Now my beast, end this!" The Pharaoh ordered. The Winged Dragon of Ra flew high into the sky then dove down towards Zorc. It's wings and body slowly turned into a fiery inferno as it drew closer and closer to Zorc. Ra collided with Zorc and surrounded him with a tornado of flames. The force of the attack sent several of the ancient onlookers back and forced Seto and Alissa to shield their faces. When the flames from the attack cleared, a crater was left where Zorc once stood. The dark clouds that blocked the sun moved away and once again bathed the ancient city with light.

"Yes! He did it! Suck on that one Zorc!" The victory was short-lived and soon the ground began to shake again. A clawed hand shot out of the crater and reached up towards the sun. A dark moon rose from the clawed hand and covered the sun, drowning the land in darkness once again.

"Somehow that thing just caused a solar eclipse!"

"Yeah, well he's kind of the definition of evil, so him having those kind of skills isn't really that shocking." The Pharaoh ordered the Egyptian Gods to attack again, and they did. However, before any attack could be completed, the claw wrapped itself around one of Ra's legs. In an attempt to get away, Ra inadvertently pulled Zorc out of the crater he had been trapped in. A purple fog began to spread, increasing the intensity of the darkness. Zorc sent out blasts of dark energy. The blasts hit the Egyptian Gods and all three turned to stones.

"Oh no!" Alissa cried in horror.

"That's nuts! No one can beat the Egyptian Gods!" Seto's eyes were wide in shock as he made his exclamation. Zorc laughed darkly.

"You're Egyptian Gods are nothing now!" he roared. "Let them crumble like the last of your hopes!" He brought his giant, clawed foot down onto Obelisk and he shattered. The Pharaoh let out a pained cry and fell to his knees.

"Pharaoh!" Alissa screamed, getting ready to run to his aid. Seto caught onto her elbow before she could get far.

"Don't," he warned.

"He needs help."

"And his little friends will make sure he gets it." Alissa looked back to see Pharaoh getting helped back into the palace. She frowned when she saw no soldiers and just Priest Seto standing before Zorc.

"Where did the soldiers go? He can't fight Zorc alone!" Priest Seto let out a battle cry and sprinted towards Zorc. The Millennium Rod glowed brightly in his fist. Oh my God! What is he doing? Idiot, stop!

"Don't you idiot!"

"He can't hear you Alissa, remember?" Zorc shot a burst of fire and energy out of his palm and Priest Seto barely dodged it.

"Lend me your strength Kisara, and White Dragon come forth!" The Blue Eyes White Dragon appeared, following Priest Seto's command.

"Hm, well, this thing is finally starting to get interesting," Seto smirked, crossing his arms in front of his chest. The dragon let out a burst of white light. As soon as it collided with Zorc, the moon that blocked the sun began to drift away. The White Dragon glowed as its powers increased by the sun's rays. Suddenly, a dragon like head shot out from the ground and sunk its teeth into the Blue Eyes neck. The dragon like creature slammed the creature of light into the ground and slowly dragged its body towards Zorc. Zorc let out a booming laugh and gripped the Blue Eyes tightly in his fists. Slowly, shadows crept up the Blue Eyes' body and it turned to stone. Alissa and Seto watched in shock and despair as the same thing happened to Priest Seto. Priest Seto collapsed to the floor as the moon covered the sun again. Zorc laughed again before he began rampaging through the town. Seto let out an angry roar and started running after Zorc.

"Kaiba! Wait, what are you- Seto stop!" Alissa screamed, running after him. "You'll get yourself killed! Stop!"

"That sideshow freak defeated Blue Eyes and the Egyptian Gods!" Seto called over his shoulder. "I'll make him pay!" Up ahead, she saw Zorc shoot fire from his mouth, covering the town in flames. Panic began to build up in her stomach. She was already running out of breath and she wasn't anywhere close to catching up with Seto. She sighed heavily, took a deep breath, and pushed her legs to go faster. She reached the town in time to see Seto jump in front of Zorc to protect two Egyptian children.

"If you want to pick on someone, pick on me!" She saw Zorc form a ball of fire and energy in his mouth.

"As you wish mortal." She pushed herself into a hard sprint.

"Seto! What are you doing? Move!" she screamed throwing herself into him. The force of her charge sent both of them flying to the ground. The blast scraped by Alissa stomach and she winced. Seto pulled himself to his feet slowly.

"Alissa, are you stupid? You could've been killed!"

"Like you care. Besides, that's why I tackled you and didn't just push you out of the way. I'm not a dumb ass." She pulled herself to her feet and winced. She placed a hand over her stomach.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing," she said with a dismissive wave of her hand. "I'm fine. His blast just must've grazed me. Let's go stop that freak." They only walked forward a few steps before her surroundings began to dip and sway and she fell to one knee.

"Alissa!"

"Would you stop yelling? I'm fine, I'm just seeing five of you right now." He picked her up bridal style and turned down an alley. She would've struggled to get out of his hold but her energy was quickly depleting.

"Put me down! You know how I feel about being lifted!" He set her down gently and pushed her onto her back.

"You need to lie down."

"I told you, I'm fine." He moved her hand that was still clutching her stomach. The blast had singed through her shirt and turned her skin an ugly pink and yellow color. He frowned.

"Stay here." He took the flannel that was tied around her waist and shoved it under her head as a makeshift pillow. "Don't fall asleep. Okay? Promise me you'll stay awake?"

"Fine, whatever.

"I shouldn't be long." She watched him as he left down the alley. She groaned as the pain in her stomach intensified. Suddenly, a freezing sensation started to take place in her toes. Startled, she looked down to see shadows slowly creeping up her legs. She tried to call Seto back, but before she could, the shadows covered her, turning her to stone.

Seto left the alley, his anger bubbling. Zorc caused a lot of damage and he had to be stopped. No one likes a bully. He caught up with Zorc easily and stood in front of him again. If I had my duel disk and my deck, I'd give this freak the beating of a lifetime! Suddenly, his duel disk appeared on his arm. It worked.

"Hey freak! Let's try this again! Come on out Blue Eyes!" He summoned his favorite monster and the powerful beast appeared in front of him.

"Foolish Mortal! Your Egyptian counterpart already tried that and failed! Why do you think your fate would be any different?"

"Listen Zorc, you freak, I've been slapping around virtual monsters like you since before I could talk!"

"You should've stayed in your own world you fool! Your cards and holograms have no power here!"

"Maybe you could handle one Blue Eyes, but let's see you handle three! Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon come forth!" The three-headed dragon appeared in front of the brunet. "Neutron blast attack! Show this ancient wind bag how we do things back home!" The three-headed dragon roared and sent out its attack. The strength of the attack sent Zorc flying backwards.

"That's the last mistake you'll ever make Mortal!" Zorc sent out his attack at the same time Seto's beast did. The two attacks collided with a large blast of light. The light shot up into the sky, forming a rift into the present.

"What in the world is that?" Seto asked in shock.

"It's the ultimate combination between shadow and light has formed a rift between the two worlds. Now I have another world to take over. The world of the future! Now bow down before me Mortal!"

"Never!" The ground beneath him began to crack.

"Kaiba!" Seto turned when he heard his voice being called. He saw The Pharaoh flying towards him.

"He's nuts!"

"I know you know what to do, Kaiba!" A bright yellow light shot out from Seto and collided with the blue light that surrounded The Pharaoh. When the light cleared, a new monster stood where the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon once was.

"We have fused together to form Dragon Master Knight! Attack!" The Pharaoh ordered. The attack hit Zorc and bathed everything in a blinding blue light. The attack was so strong that it destroyed Dragon Master Knight itself. When the light finally cleared, Zorc still stood. Seto let out a small grunt and collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

Seto groaned as he slowly returned to consciousness. He cracked open his eyes and pulled himself up to his knees. Yugi, Joey, Tea, and Tristan all stood around The Pharaoh. Zorc stood behind them, about to release an attack.

"Ring of Defense!" After calling out his order, a green, red, and yellow spinning device appeared in front of The Pharaoh and his friends. As soon as the attack hit the device, it deflected.

"How dare you interfere Mortal!" Zorc roared. He sent out a blast that destroyed the Ring of Defense and knocked Seto backwards. However, Zorc was too late. That distraction, no matter how brief it was, lasted long enough for Tea, Yugi, Joey, and Tristan to remember the characters they saw on The Pharaoh's tomb. He now remembered his name.

"I am King Atem!" As soon as The Pharaoh said this, light erupted from him. "And now I revive the mighty Gods of Egypt!" Red, blue, and yellow light soared through the sky and the Egyptian Gods appeared.

"You already tried this and failed!" Zorc bellowed.

"Yes, but last time I didn't merge them together!" The three merged together, causing bursts of light to explode in the air. "I give you, the Creator of Light!"

"No! That's impossible!" A light blue skinned creature wearing a tall, gold headpiece appeared. She shot beams of light from her hands and Zorc slowly began to crumble.

"No!" Zorc screeched. He reached for Atem, but before he could grab him, he shattered and disappeared.

"He's gone! The Pharaoh did it!" Tristan cheered. Seto left the geek squad to get Alissa.

"Alissa that freak is gone. And before you ask, your geeky friends are fine." He froze when he saw Alissa on the ground encased in stone. Oh no.

"Alissa!"

So, I had this all ready to go up at eleven o'clock last night, but then a near tragedy happened. My beloved laptop Oscar had a near death experience. Long story short, some water was spilled on Oscar and then he wouldn't turn on. Panic mode on. I was FREAKING OUT because EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING that's important for school, my novels, and my fan fictions is on here. Yes, I do back it up on a zip drive, but the last time I did that was June. So yeah, last night was terrifying. I blow dried the USB and earphone jack on low heat and speed and left it upside down over night. Luckily, my prayers were answered and Oscar seems to be alive and well. SO the point of this author's note was to apologize for not getting it up yesterday like I said I would. I doubt that people really mind THAT much, but I hate not being able to meet deadlines.
