Three years later…
It had been three years since Alissa and Seto got back into a relationship, and they were still very happily together. Alissa had graduated from college the year before and Kaiba Corp. was thriving more than ever. The young CEO had been in America for the past three months, working on the construction of another office and multiple other theme parks. Unfortunately, he still had two months of construction left before he could return home to Domino, which meant the most the couple was going to get on their anniversary was a Skype video call. Or so Alissa thought. Alissa rolled over and reached for her cellphone when she heard it ping. She rubbed at her eyes sleepily before glancing at the screen. Text Message: Seto. She smiled and unlocked her screen to read the message.
'Good morning, Alissa. Happy Anniversary. I love YOU.' Her mouth stretched up into a smile as she sent a reply to her boyfriend of three years.
'Thank you. I love you too, Seto. I wish you didn't have to be all the way in America on business:/.' His response came almost immediately after.
'Well, Kaiba Corp doesn't run itself.'
'I know. I love you. I miss you.'
'Then why don't you come into your living room?' She found herself grinning from ear to ear. No fucking way. She threw herself out of bed and chucked her phone onto her comforter as she ran out of her bedroom.
"Seto!" she squealed in excitement, throwing herself into the tall man standing in her living room. He chuckled as he hugged her by the waist and spun her around.
"I thought that you were going to be in America for two more months."
"We finished up a couple weeks ago, but I wanted to surprise you."
"You jerk," she said, nudging his chest with a smile. "I thought all I was going to get today was a Skype call."
"Surprise?" Her grin widened as she buried her face into his chest.
"I really missed you."
"I missed you too. He lifted her chin up so he could kiss her lightly on the lips. The sweet kiss soon turned passionate as their tongues delved into each other's mouths and their teeth smashed together. She squeaked in surprise when he hoisted her up onto his hips. She reluctantly pulled away and pressed her forehead against his.
"My mom will be home from the store soon. We should move this reunion to my bedroom." Seto didn't answer and instead claimed her lips in another rough kiss.

Afterwards, the two laid in each other's arms. Alissa's head was rested on Seto's chest as his thin fingers absently played with her sweat-dampened hair.
"I have something for you," he said suddenly.
"Do you?" she asked with an amused raise of her eyebrow.
"Let me get it for you." He began to pull himself up onto his elbows but he fell back down when she flung her arms around his chest in protest.
"But you're so comfy."
"You don't want your gift then?"
"Ugh, fine. I'll move." She repositioned herself on the mound of pillows behind her as he grabbed his discarded pair of pants and fished through the pocket. He turned back towards her and held out the gift. A silver chain dangled from his hand. A locket in the shape of a Duel Monsters card was attached to the chain. She grinned and slipped the locket around her neck.
"It's just like yours and Mokuba's," she replied, holding the locket in her palm.
"That was intentional. We've been dating long enough for you to be considered part of my and Mokuba's family." She opened the locket and her grin widened. On one side there was a picture of the younger Kaiba, and on the other there was one of the elder.
"Thank you, Seto. I love it."
"And I love you." She grabbed onto his shoulders and brought his mouth down to meet her own. He supported himself above her as her fingers worked their way into his thick hair.
"I love you so much," she said in between kisses. He collapsed down next to her and dragged her body close to his chest.
"Happy Anniversary, Alissa."
"Happy Anniversary, Seto." The couple held each other contentedly as they fell asleep. Their anniversary marked the end of the a very happy three years together and the beginning of many more to come.
