ASHLEY'S P.O.V
I can see every muscle in her back as her body glides through the water.
"She's quick"
I'm not really paying attention to how fast she's swimming.
"Aid she's hot..."
"When's your dad getting to town?"
"Tomorrow"
I can't take my eyes off her.
"This is a pretty cool hotel he's set us up in"
"I'm having fun..."
"I bet you are"
When I look over at him he's smiling.
"So what's the deal with you two?"
"We're just seeing what happens"
"What does that even mean?"
"It means she's not ready for anything serious"
"So you're not together?"
"Aid we're seeing what happens"
"And you're okay with that?"
"She's still sleeping with me, so I'm more than okay with it"
She needs to be okay with everything and if that means we need to stay friends for a while, we'll stay friends.
"How was last night?"
"I'm not talking about that with you..."
"Since when do you not talk about that with me?"
"Since I actually like this one"

He has the stupidest smile on his face.

LATER THAT NIGHT
Kyla was worried we weren't going to be able to get accomodation this close to the festival.
So she called my dad and he got his people to organise a room at the Sheraton.
"I'm sleeping"
I couldn't help myself.
She was lying on the couch, with her headphone's in and I was bored.
"What are you listening to?"
"Staind"
When she moves so she's more comfortable I smile.
"They're a cool group"
"I like them"
She's smiling.
"Spence am I squashing you?"
"Yes"
"Do you mind?"
"No"
"Are you capable of answering my questions with more than one word?"
"No"
When she says that we both start laughing.
"So Aid and I were watching you swim earlier..."
"Ashley are you stalking me?"
"Spence I'll admit to perving, but I don't do stalking"
"So you just ended up in the pool area that's nowhere near anything else?"
"Aiden was trying to find the gym..."
"And you were just tagging along?"
"And I was just tagging along"
I have the stupidest smirk on my face.
"I could watch you swim all day"
She still has her headphones in, so when I lean closer, I can hear the music playing.
"This is my life, it's not what it was before"
I love this song.
"Ashley are you trying to serenade me?"
"I'm enjoying the song"
I'm enjoying this position as well.
"Anyway I'm going to go somewhere else so you can get back to your music"
When I try to get up she grabs my ass so I can't move.
"Ash I can do both'
I was hoping she'd say that.
"I'm great at multi tasking"

When I say that she presses her lips against mine.

When I hear his voice I pull back.

They're both staring.

When I look back over at Spencer, she's packing up her ipod.
"We have food"
