So, this chapter is up, and now that you all know I'm not dead, I'm going to force myself to do more writing. I've been kinda out of it lately, between work, and school, and Starbound, but I'm back now, and I'm not stopping!

"I'm afraid that's all the information we have right now, Agent P. Monogram out." The teal platypus saluted, and got into his hovercar, which proceeded to fly up and out the chimney of the Flynn-Fletcher house. Ah, hopefully this assignment would be quick, because he never liked to spend a night away from his family, but unfortunately, work always came first.

"Vinnie, I'm sure there's no such thing as a secret organization that employs animals to protect the country from evil scientists. It's just a cartoon." Blythe told the lizard as he climbed up the wall, pretending to be a spy.

"Just a cartoon? No, it's Spynimals, not just a cartoon. It would be so cool to be a secret agent…"

"Finally! Perry the Platypus can't get me here, and my -inator is ready! Soon, I will rule the tri-state, no the world! Although it's just not the same without him…"

"Welcome to Littlest Pet Shop, how can I help you?"

"I'm like to leave my pet platypus here for the day, because I will be going out of town."

"Sure, if you'll just let me go get the paperwork we'll need, I can arrange that for you. Blythe! Come here please!" The teen bounded into the front of the shop, and almost fell over laughing. The man standing at the counter was wearing a ridiculous shirt, the kind you find in tropical gift shops, and a pair of sunglasses, in the middle of october. His big mustache didn't help either.

"You called Mrs. T?"

"Yes, can you take this man's platypus into the daycamp for me while I help him with the paperwork?"

"Sure thing. Does he have a name?"

"Perry."

"Well, Perry, let's see how you like the other day campers. My name's Blythe by the way, and since today's my day off, I've been hanging out with the other pets back here all day, so you'll see a lot of me."

"Great, a human hanging around all day. How am I supposed to get anything done if she's hanging around all day stopping me from leaving?" Blythe stepped into the daycamp of Littlest Pet Shop, and held Perry up accusingly.

"What are you talking about? Why would you leave?" Perry jumped out of her grip, and looked up at her, rather surprised. He knew that some people, like one of his owners, Candace, could understand him because of special...circumstances, but he had no idea how Blythe did. She just didn't have the look of somebody like that.

"You...understand what I'm saying?"

"Yup! It's a bit of a long story, but I can understand pets. Pretty cool huh?"

"Not when I have things that need doing, that humans can't know about."

"Why can't those things wait until tomorrow? Or at least until your owner takes you back?"

"They can't wait, because the fate of the world rests on the concept that I can complete these tasks as soon as possible."

"Why don't you just tell me about what you're doing? I'm the only one that can understand you, and I'm capable of keeping secrets."

"I'm not allowed to tell humans, it's that simple. Now, if you don't mind, I would like some time on my own."

"Alright, but you're not leaving here, I can guarantee you that." Blythe sat in the green armchair, and Russell approached her.

"What was that about?"

"Huh? Oh, that's Perry. Apparently he has things he needs to be doing, that he has to leave the pet shop to do, that he can't tell me about."

"That's just a little fishy to me."

"I know! That's why I told him he can't…" Out of nowhere, a beam of green energy hit Blythe, and there was a bright flash. When the light faded, Blythe was no-where to be seen. In her place, was a calico cat, with blue, pink, and black fur. "What the huh? Why am I a cat?!" Russell almost fell over in shock. Blythe had been turned into an animal!

Perry sighed. "I knew this would happen. This is the work of my evil nemesis. Can I get to work stopping him now?"

"Not until you explain what's going on here!"

"I'm not allowed to tell humans!"

"I'm not a human anymore, and you're to blame! Explain yourself, now!"

"Well, since you're not human, I guess I can say, although that's quite the loophole… fine, I'll tell, but you can't tell any other humans, OK?"

"Deal."

"I work for the OWCA and it's my job to stop evil scientists from building evil machines to carry out their evil plans to take over the world. What you are, is the product of a creation of my nemesis, who we will call...the Doctor. It looks like he built an 'Animalizeinator' and was testing it out, and you got hit. Now, if you let me go, I may be able to stop him before he can use it to take over the world by turning everyone else into animals."

"Well, OK, I certainly didn't expect something like that. I guess you can go, as long as you can turn me back!"

"Deal."

It had been almost three hours now, and Blythe had come to grips with the fact that chances were good, she was going to be stuck as a cat for the rest of her life. It wouldn't be that bad, she could convince Mrs. T. to keep her as a pet, she could still hang out with the other pets, and she wouldn't have to go to school anymore. Then again, she would have to give up fashion, and she wouldn't be able to hang out with Jasper or any of her other human friends anymore. Suddenly, a green beam of light came in through the window, and hit her. There was a bright flash, and when the light faded, Blythe was back to her normal self again, well, almost.

"So, you're sure you can keep me a secret?" Perry asked as he walked up behind Blythe, quickly stowing his hat away.

"I'm sure, Perry, after all, that's what friends are for."

"So Blythe, do you have any kind of explanation for what happened today?"

"If I tried to understand everything that waked out those doors Russell, I would be crazy by now."

Vinnie walked by a few moments later. "Hey Blythe, where'd you get the cool denim t-shirt?"

Oh, Vinnie, you crack me up.

For those of you who are going to ask about the Candace thing, all I can say is, another tail, another time.
