"Hello everyone! My name Is Ichigo, and I'll be running the Author's note for Master Dragonfire from here on out!"
Ichigo?! What are you doing here? This isn't even your section of fanfiction!
"I told you I was helping with your Author's notes." Through the whole site?
"Yup!" Great.
"Master Dragonfire doesn't own LPS or Angel." You're forgetting one...
"What? I am?" Yup.
"Oh, right! I'm up here in the Author's note! He doesn't own Tokyo Mew Mew either, but he does encourage you to check it out anyways!" Hey!
The bell on the front door of Littlest Pet Shop rang, and Blythe ran to see who it was. A small cat wearing a sign jumped onto the counter. The sign said "Looking for good home."
"Hello there, what're you doing here?"
"I'm looking for Rustle. I heard he may be here."
"Russell, yes, he's in the daycamp here. Do you know each other?"
"You could say that. By the way, I'm Miss Kitty Fantastico. You can call me Miss Kitty." Miss Kitty seemed to be unfazed at Blythe's ability to understand her.
"Okay Miss Kitty, I'll be right back." Blythe walked into the day camp area, and called for Russell. "Russell, there's a cat who wants to speak with you waiting at the front counter."
"Did you get her name?"
"Miss Kitty Fantastico...why?"
"I'm not here, get her out of here, anything to stop her from talking to me!"
"What's wrong with her?" Miss Kitty walked through the pet door at that moment, and as soon as she saw Russell, she bounded straight towards him.
"Wait a second...you're not Rustle!"
"Russell Ferguson, at your service."
"I would know that voice anywhere! Rustle! It is you! Good, we need your help back in L.A.!"
Russell sighed. "Look Miss Kitty, I came here to get away from that. It's a part of my past now, and I can't help you."
"We've tried everything else. We need you, or we could wind up with another Graduation Day!"
"Wait, what's going on here?"
"Miss Kitty, I gave up being a slayer a long time ago. I like my new life. I'm not going with you."
Russell heard a strange noise. "Oh, giving up so soon Rustle? What a shame...Angelus and I were looking forward to playing with you again..."
"Xathrid, is that you? How did you free yourself? Answer me!"
"Aw, that would be no fun. You'll have to figure it out for yourself."
"Argh! Why did it have to be him!"
"Who's Xathrid? What are you talking about?"
"Rustle, Edgar and I are vampire hunters! Or, Rustle used to be, until he ran away from his watcher. Without him, we've had troubles beating some of the stronger vampires, and now they're trying to take over the world! We need Rustle's help!"
"Russell was a vampire hunter? Somehow I can actually see that being true."
"So, Rustle...will you come back home? I'm sure that all of your other friends miss you so much...I suppose you haven't spoken to them much since you imprisoned them…"
"Xathrid, you won't change my mind! I gave up slaying forever when I left L.A."
"You know, you look very different from how you looked five years ago. I wouldn't have recognised you if not for your voice." Miss Kitty commented.
"I came here to get away from everything I used to be. I changed my name, how I look, goodness, I even changed how I act. Believe me, you wouldn't see me doing anything that I used to do, not anymore. No high speed chases, no crazy fistfights, nothing."
"I find that hard to believe."
"Seriously, it's been so long, I don't even think I can track anymore."
"Well, let's see if you can. Figure out where Xathrid is hiding."
"If I do, will you stop?!" Miss Kitty nodded. "Alright, fine." Russell pulled a comb out of nowhere, and brushed his hair to look a little more...aggressive. To be honest, he kinda looked good with his hair up like that. Don't tell him I said that, though. He fell silent, and focused on the room around him… He saw a slight wave in the air by the door to the front of the pet shop, and headed for it. The wave faded, and Russell stopped again, and waited for the next wave. After a few waves, he was starting to see them in color, and then they became more pronounced. He was starting to catch on to him! He followed the trail to the broom closet. He opened the door, and inside there was a short black bunny, with big ears, and a piercing glare. "Edgar! What are you doing in here?"
"I was giving off the aura that you followed. You still have it in you to track, and to slay. You need to come back to L.A. with us, or it will be the end of the world as we know it."
"How so?"
"Xathrid and the Ram plan to kill Cerberus. If they do that, they can march an infinite army of the dead into our world and take control of it."
"And why can't you and Miss Kitty take care of it? I'm sure together with Team Angel, you could deal with it."
"Team Angel is currently not really in working order…"
"Why not?"
"Well, half the team is trapped in another dimension, Angel is frozen solid with a powerful curse, and Wesley is missing."
Ì see. That leaves you pretty much alone. Well, I still don`t see why you can't just stop them from getting to Cerberus."
"It's too late for that unfortunately. They already have a camp set up in his domain. That's why we came to get you. We have no other options. There are too many gates to seal to stop the dead from returning, and if we did seal them, the dead not yet through would rise here anyways."
"I see. Well, if there is really no other option, I suppose I will have to go with you. Blythe, tell Mrs. T and my owner that there's something wrong with me, and you're taking me to a specialist out of town."
"Why?"
"Because we need an excuse, so I can go to L.A. and save the world!"
Since apparently Ichigo doesn't understand the concept of having an Author's note AFTER the chapter is over, I've snuck this one in to tell you a little bit about what's going on right now. "What are you doing in the Author's note? This is my job now!"
But you never do any post-chapter notes! "What is there that can be put in a post-chapter note?" Lots of things! "Explain."
Well, I guess I'll just have to give her an example.
If enough of you want me to, I may expand this chapter into a whole series, I haven't really decided yet.
The next chapters for both this and Parallel Lives are in the works, and they will both have a similar theme to them!
Got suggestions? Leave a review, and I'll try to get them done!
See, there's lots of stuff you can put in these post-chapter notes.
"I guess you're right. Oh well, I'll have to start writing these too now, I guess."
Oh, and there's one other thing that you need to put at the end of every chapter. "What's that?"
