(A/N: Here's my version of The Absolute Worst, which is my favourite episode. I added two of my OCs in the little escape plot to state their worst Ninja. Who do you think theirs are?)

A few days had passed since the Ninja had left Ninjago to search for Zane, as well as the announcement of the Tan Ninja's retirement due to her newly received disability, and the birth of Cirrus' son. In the yard on the east side of Kryptarium Prison, a couple of guards walk along the grounds with one of them reading a newspaper while some prisoners converse amongst themselves. "Hey, quit hogging the newspaper." The guard said to the guard reading the newspaper and tries to grab it. "I need my daily funnies."

"Your comics can wait." The other guard replied, pushing him aside before looking at some articles. "Here a few interesting ones. 'The Tan Ninja, Magna Hall-Sanders, had announced her retirement, following the injury she suffered while battling Aspheera, suspected leader of the Pyro Vipers. She has refused to comment on what she plans to do next.'" He then looked at another article. "'Cirrus Cloud, girlfriend of Silver Ninja, Blake Borg, has given birth to a baby boy at precisely 4:18 in the morning on Sunday. She has chosen to wait until the return of the Ninja to announce the name of the baby, and refused to take name suggestions.'"

"What do you mean, 'return of the Ninja'?"

He points to an article with the Ninja's photo with Zane's having a question mark on it. "One theory about the disappearance of the Ninja is that they've gone on a quest to search for Zane."

"Oh, so that's why the no one's seen the Ninja for-"

Noble quickly rushed to cover his mouth and slapped the paper out of the other guard's hand. "Are you crazy?" He asked. "Don't talk about that on duty." He starts to shake the first guard by moving his shoulders back and forth. "Do you have any idea what would happen if the prisoners learn the Ninja are missing?" Noble backs away to grab hold of his hair in fear.

Both guards look at each other. "Uh, no." The guard on the right replied.

Noble soon came at his face. "They might start getting ideas!" He briefly looks around. "Ideas about breaking out." He whispers to them. The guards soon realise as Noble points up the wall to his left as the guards look at it. "Especially them." On the other side of the wall was the northeast side of the exercise yard.

"Sorry, warden." They both said. Noble soon walked away as the guards did so too, one mumbling to himself. Pretty soon, wind catches the newspaper and sends it flying into the air, over the wall to the northeast part of the exercise yard.

The paper flies past Killow, who is doing pushups with Bastion and Sawyed on his back for added weight before stopping by a soccer ball which Zhong soon kicked and the newspaper flies off again. By a nearby bench, Aliil and Grunin, both in prison uniforms with Aliil wearing his unbuttoned to show a black tank top as well as having black hair, and Grunin had his without sleeves, and had jaw wire attached to his teeth that is preventing him from opening them, or even flick his tongue, were arm wrestling until the newspaper lands by Aliil's right arm, causing him to notice the article, and immediately moved his hand back to look at it. "What the Ninblooey?" He asked himself before he hands the paper to Grunin, who looks at it.

"The Ninja are..." He said to himself before nodding to Aliil, points out to something, gets up, and runs off somewhere. Grunin rushes over to a nearby wall where Ultra Violet was, filing her nails. "Ultra Violet, look."

"This better be good." Ultra Violet replied. "You're interrupting my me time, kid." Grunin holds up the newspaper to show her the article. She looks at it before smirking. "So it's true."

"If the Ninja are out of the picture, we might actually have a chance." The Mechanic said as he and Aliil came up to them, and The Mechanic looks at the article.

Ultra Violet takes the newspaper, walks away and scrunches the paper up. "Tonight." She said. "After lights out." She throws them the scrunch up paper which the Mechanic catches and smirked.

Later that night, in the main cell block, a couple of guards come up to a light switch. "Lights out!" One of the guards called out. "Cell Block 1!" The other guards pulls the switch, shutting off the lights.

The moment they pass their cell, Aliil and the Mechanic, who were pretending to sleep, get up, head over to the cell door and look at their surroundings, finding no one around. "All clear." Aliil whispered. The Mechanic detaches his mechanical arm from his body, moves it out through the bars, and drops it down. The arm then starts to crawl across the floor as they watch it.

In the security room, the guard in charge was snoring with his feet on the table, never bothering to notice the mechanical arm on the monitor. It soon made its way in, comes up to the keys by the guard's belt and grabs them.

Back at their cell, Aliil and the Mechanic look around before noticing the arm coming up to them. It moved up to the lock and unlocks their cell, which they silently open.

Aliil comes up to the railing to look around while The Mechanic reattaches his mechanical arm and they head for Ultra Violet and Grunin's cell, unlock it, and open it.

They both turn to see Aliil and the Mechanic come in. "Come on." Ultra Violet said before heading over to a poster of Lou hanging above their bunk bed, which Grunin pulls back, revealing a tunnel behind it and shows it to them. The Mechanic looks behind them as Ultra Violet climbs into the tunnel, followed by Aliil, then Grunin, and finally the Mechanic before the poster soon came down to cover the tunnel.
