Author's Note: I was playing Black Flag earlier and saw how similar the Jackdaw was to the Adrestia, and came up with an idea: what if during her immortal life before 2018, Kassandra met with Edward 300 years before she died? Here is the crossover that I so wanted Ubi to do but they never did. References to Odyssey and Other Characters within franchise. Spoilers ahead. I also chose Arroyos as the island Kassandra was based on as it sounded Greek (in my head it did lol)

Tavern in Arroyos, 1716.

"So your name is Kassandra then?" Edward asked, smiling and intrigued, while the two sat on a table drinking some rum.

Swallowing back some rum, and placing her cup down, Kassandra answered Edward.

"Yes, that's right. I'm an assassin and master of this island. Of Arroyos Bureau"

Edward noticed an accent he couldn't quite place, it wasn't Spanish or English like many of the locals here which made him all the more intrigued.

"Your accent is a bit strange; it doesn't sound Spanish or English like the other pirates. If you don't mind me asking, Where are you from?"

Kassandra sighed, she was tired. It had been over a 1000 years since she had been alive ever since the events with Pythogras and immortality. It wasn't the first time she had been asked such a question, in fact a certain blonde drengr had asked her the same thing a few hundred years back.

Oh Eivor. I wonder how you are doing now in Valhalla. While I am still here alive, in the pirate age on a caribbean island.

Meanwhile, Edward's brows had furrowed in confusion and concern, waiting for her to answer.

"Are you alright lass?" he spoke interrupting her thoughts

"Um yes ... Sorry I was just a bit lost in thought there" Kassandra laughed trying to brush it off

"That's fine we all get a bit lost in thought sometimes. I sometimes think of my wife and life back at home. I get it" Edward shrugged

I wonder how long he has been at sea and away from her, if he's finding it hard already he wouldn't last a day in my shoes. It's been thousands of years and I still miss Natakas and Hermes.

"If you want to know, I come from Greece. I also was married twice too, before both my husbands passed away. I've been at sea for years" Kassandra spoke staring out into the sea and the horizon in front of them, reminiscing.

Edward looked back at her in surprise. "Really Lass? Greece. I've only sailed around the Caribbean the past two years so I wouldn't have a clue where that is. I'm sorry to hear that, about your husbands too"

"Yes. That is why my accent seems strange, as there are no Greeks here besides me. Just Spanish Templars, Pirates and the occasional British governor from the navy, and about my husbands it's fine. It made me want to join the assassins, save the world from the Templars. It gave me a purpose"

"Understandable. I'm also from Britain. Wales. I was born and raised in Swansea before I became a pirate and a assassin, well sort of"

Kassandra looked back at Edward in Surprise. A pirate assassin. Who would have thought ? Sure there were pirates back in my day, but not a Pirate assassin. Even Myrinne and Xenia didn't do that.

"You're a pirate and an assassin. How is that even possible?"

Edward chuckled upon seeing Kassandra's reaction. "I know, it sounds ridiculous and unbelievable but there are some and we do exist. My colleague and friend James Kidd is one too. And Ade, my quartermaster on the Jackdaw. He went from slave to pirate then to assassin"

"Wow. Sounds like you have a great crew, while I'm here all by myself chasing down templars on my own without a crew and ship. I've lost track of how many ships I've lost over time" Kassandra mused.

"Tell you What, since we're both assassins and there are some templars that need sorting out, perhaps you could join us on the Jackdaw. I could do with a lass on my ship, and you say you're experienced too, so why not join us for the fight to come?" Edward said, reaching out for Kassandra's hand

Kassandra thought for a second, Joining Edward's crew would mean that I don't have to be alone anymore, and it can be just like the Adrestia and Barnabas like the good old days, singing songs and sailing- occasionally fighting bandits and pirates. But then when they grow old, I won't be able to hide my secret anymore. Worst of all having to mourn them all over again. Like I have done for the past thousands of years.

Screw it, I'll worry about it later. Plus I get to work with the legend himself- the bastard son of Captain Kidd. Not many get this chance.

"Deal, Edward. I'll join you and the Pirate Republic in taking down the templars" Kassandra answered, shaking Edward's hand.

"Good. Welcome aboard the Jackdaw. We have some templars to catch" Edward said as they both left the Tavern, heading towards the Jackdaw.
