Sorry for the long wait, RL has a way of busting in on my fun time. Here's a little something to get me back in the swing of writing and I will do my best to finish up all my stories ASAP :-)

"I'm too shiny" Em lifted her hatchet in a tight swift arc, taking out two walkers that Merle felt she let way to close.

"Watch me dazzle like a diamond in the rough, Strut my stuff, my stuff is so shiny" Em's terrible voice screeched out another verse to the ridiculous song she'd been singing since they started taking out the dead fucks.

"Send your armies but they'll never be enough, My shell is too tough." she did a strange little dance/bodybuilder move that had Merle laughing despite wanting to yell at her to pay attention to the walkers around them.

"You could try, try, try, But you can't expect a demigod, To beat a decapod (Look it up)" She pointed at Merle with a blood splattered grin before turning back to her pray and belting out,

"You will die, die, die, now it's time for me" She hacked at the last two walkers, straddling the last one as she continued singing, "to take apart" she dug into the cavity of a former inmate, a big burly blond man, "your aching heart" she held up the bloody organ like a trophy.

Merle looked around them as Em cackled gleefully at her own joke. They were surrounded by bodies and the field was cleared for the time being. They also had an audience.

His brother's girl was standing at the fence closest to him, staring at Em with wide blue eyes. Merle wiped the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand.

"Is she singing Disney?"

"Wha?" Merle turned back to the girl. Beth was looking at him now a strange expression of fear, confusion and amusement on her face.

"Is she singing Shiny from Moana? That Disney movie?" she asked him again.

"You'd know better than me, suga" he snorted out a laugh.

"Sugar" Em's cold voice came from across the field. "Who is sugar?"

"Fuck" Merle cursed under his breath. He turned to find Em stomping across the yard, looking like a damn sexy psycho bitch with her white shirt splattered in blood and gore, her eyes nearly sparking out flames with lunatic anger.

"Now honey, you know it's just an expression." he stepped between the two women, not trusting that the fence would keep his brothers woman from harm.

"Of Course it is," Em snarled at him. "Is anything you say genuine?"

"I ain't never lied to ya. I ain't starting now."

Em ignored him, "Are you their new slut? That's all you are, you know. It's all you'll ever be. Don't believe a damn word they say." She walked past Merle to the gate without looking back.

"She isn't right," Merle could see how Em's words affected the young blonde. "Tha's on me."

"It's on Daryl too." She pointed her big blue eyes at him. "Both of you."

"Daryl ain't an angel, doubt he told ya he was, but Em, that was me. It was me that did that 'er. Daryl scratched an itch. I'm tha one tha fucked with 'er heart but 'er mind was pretty damn fucked before I met 'er." he gave a little laugh. "Daryl wants ya and no one else, nevah once seen 'em attached to a woman before." Merle bit his lip. "He ain't touching Em, he don't want to, I don't want him to. We live an learn girl, ain't nothin' easy for all this shit happened an ain't nothin' easy now, best you learn that soon as ya can."

"OPEN THE FUCKING GATE!" Em screamed shaking the fence in fury.

"Tha's my baby callin', best not keep 'er waitin', she's liable to cut ma nuts off or yer tits an Daryl would hate that." Merle walked off, what was done was done. Em's words had done what ever damage they were going to do.

"Em, how 'bout we go fer a walk firs, huh?" He'd be damned if he was going to open that gate with her all riled up like this.

"What? Afraid I'll hurt your girlfriend?" she grinned at him.

"Not mine." he answered knowing she wouldn't believe him.

"Right." she huffed. "lead the way then, anything is better than being stuck with you in that room again."

Merle fought the urge to kiss her, apparently crazy did it for him way more than he thought it did. "I know of a lake, get ya cleaned up."

"oooOOoo," her manic grin became more relaxed. " I do like swimming!"

"Yeah," he sighed, "I remember."
