Slytherin – Fanatic 911: Howdy Y'all! No comments here, let's get to the chapter!

Takeshi was having a great time. He was ripping it up on the dance floor with Miyamoto and a couple girls. With the music pumping and his body moving in time with the beat, he knew that everything was perfect and nothing could go wrong. Well, almost nothing.

As he was showing off a couple moves for the girls, he spied Daisuke skulking in one of the corners. He may have accepted Daisuke's weird behaviour all week but he wasn't going to let that pouty redhead ruin his night. A night of fun, relaxation, and lovely ladies were probably all Daisuke needed to get back to his usual self.

So Takeshi winked at the ladies and excused himself so he could get some water. After he got some water, though, he made his way over to Daisuke and wrapped an arm around his shoulders.

"Daisuke!" he said over the music. "Stop being such a sulk in the corner and come have some fun."

Daisuke glanced at a watch on his wrist, which read 8.15, then said, "A-ah, I think I'm fine here, actually. You can go back to the dance floor and have some more fun, though."

Takeshi rolled his eyes. He'd known Daisuke since he was just a child and he knew his friend was always little reluctant to put himself out there. Luckily, he had such a wonderful friend who could do it for him. So he grabbed Daisuke's wrist and started dragging him towards the dance floor.

Daisuke struggled against his grip and said, "Saehara, please, I really don't want to dance!"

"Don't worry, once you loosen up a bit you'll thank me for forcing you to have fun."

Daisuke struggled for a bit longer but gave up once he was dragged to the middle of the dancefloor. He looked at his watch once more but sighed and started dancing when Takeshi glared at him.

Takeshi grinned and started dancing again. Now everything was perfect. Everyone was having fun on the dancefloor and they were going to dance the night away. Except…

Out of the corner of his eye, Takeshi spied Satoshi creeping in one corner with his sister bouncing around him. Satoshi was always destined to be a party pooper but his sister on the other hand… She was chatting away to her brother and kept trying to drag him to the dancefloor. If he could somehow catch her eye and invite her to dance with him and the others, Daisuke be damned, then the party would really get started.

So Takeshi kept his eye on Sayuri as he danced and a few minutes later, she looked over and they made eye contact. He gestured for her to come join him and she looked to her brother for permission. Satoshi shrugged, she rolled her eyes, and she walked over to join him.

"He-hey, Saehara-kun," Sayuri said once she was next to him.

Takeshi winked and replied, "Hello, Hiwatari-chan. I thought you might have more fun dancing with us than hanging out with your brother."

"Thanks. Nii-san's just a worrier. I told him to loosen up for a bit but he doesn't want to listen."

"Well, you don't have to worry about him. We're all gonna have fun tonight, you included."

Daisuke had been dragged on the dancefloor reluctantly. He'd tried to tell Takeshi to back off but he wouldn't listen. It didn't help that Dark was encouraging him to 'have a little fun' as well. He should be more worried about the heist but he was under the impression it would be easy. Nothing was ever easy when it came to Satoshi.

But at 8.20, Daisuke managed to slip away when Takeshi wasn't paying attention so he could go to the bathroom and transform into Dark.

Dark walked out of the bathroom with his head held high and a cocky grin on his face. Krad may show up but he'd escaped from the angel quite a few times in the past so he wasn't worried. Satoshi was easy to deal with as well. The one wild card in the situation was Sayuri but he didn't think she'd be much of a problem.

Dark avoided the gazes of people as walked outside the hotel and called Wiz. Wiz came flying down from Daisuke's room and attached himself to Dark's back, transforming into his wings. He then stretched them carefully before taking off into the night sky. He had a couple minutes to relax before that painting needed to be gone.

(We should just slip in and out, Dark) Daisuke said. (With all my classmates watching, you really shouldn't show off.)

(Relax, Daisuke,) Dark replied, (I got things covered, okay? And besides, with a wonderful audience like that, how could you ask me not to show off?)

(Dark, please!)

(I've been a Phantom Thief for 300 years, Daisuke. Nothing's going to go wrong.)

Daisuke scoffed. (Famous last words.)

"Everything's set," Satoshi said, looking up to the painting.

"Don't worry, Nii-san, everything will be fine," Sayuri said. She nudged his arm and continued, "You really shouldn't worry so much."

"You shouldn't be so confident that things will work out okay. You've never faced Dark."

(But I have and with us co-operating, I think Sayuri-sama is correct,) Krad said.

It was strange for him to have faith in Krad since he'd been fighting him for so long but it was surprisingly reassuring to know Krad was behind him. Krad and Sayuri both. And with this being the first heist they all worked on, he had some amount of confidence that they might succeed.

Satoshi looked down to his watch and saw it was ticking closer to the time on the Warning Notice. He turned and scanned the crowd on the dancefloor for Daisuke but didn't see him.

"He'll be here soon," Satoshi muttered. "You know the plan?"

Sayuri nodded. "Yup. When Dark tries to take the painting, you'll try and restrain him then I'll pull him into my body. If all else fails, we'll let Krad do his thing."

Satoshi smiled and patted Sayuri on her arm. "We've got this."

Sayuri grinned. She opened her mouth to respond but the power turned off at that moment. The music stopped and the room fell into darkness. Satoshi felt behind him for the wall and grabbed Sayuri's arm with his other hand. The students all screamed and some started to run out of the room. There were shouts from the teachers, trying to calm them down, but it didn't seem to work.

"Any moment," Satoshi muttered.

There was a deep chuckle above Satoshi and a voice said, "I'm really sorry about hurting you on my last heist. Our… mutual friend really went off at me afterwards."

Satoshi stepped away from the wall and turned around. Once his eyes had adjusted slightly, he saw a shadowy shape hovering where the painting was. He backed up a couple more steps before running forward and jumping at Dark. Dark let out a yell and tried to fly off but Satoshi managed to take hold of his ankle. He grabbed on with his other hand and pulled him down to the ground.

"You're not going to get away this time," Satoshi said.

(I won't let him,) Krad growled.

(We had a deal, Krad, no.)

(He's mine!)

"Sorry, Creepy," Dark said. "This may hurt a bit but I can't get caught here."

Satoshi felt a pain in his stomach which caused him to let go of Dark. He stumbled backwards, his vision swaying, as he felt Krad slowly take over his body. With a shaking hand, he reached up and took off his glasses, just before he felt a ripping in his back.

"No!" Sayuri screamed.

A warm body tackled Satoshi to the ground and the pain faded slowly. He tried to reach out to Krad but there was only silence.

"Sayuri," Satoshi said, moving a hand so he could slowly pat her back, "what… happened?"

"I pulled him into my body," Sayuri said. "I didn't want him to hurt you."

Satoshi sighed. "Thanks," he said. "And Dark? He got away, right?"

The lights came back on all of a sudden and Satoshi had to blink a few times to adjust to them. He moved Sayuri off him and sat up. There were only a few students left in the room and most of the teachers. The wall where the painting was supposed to hang was bare but beneath it sat the painting and-

"Niwa-kun?"

Satoshi stood up and walked over to his unconscious body. He shook him, called out his name, which caused Daisuke gasp and open his eyes. He sat up and looked around.

"Wh-where-?" Daisuke started.

"Calm down, Niwa-kun," Satoshi said. "Dark must have transformed back into you when the lights came on."

"N-no, he-" Tears filled Daisuke's eyes and he squeezed them shut. "I can't feel him. He's not there. He's gone."

"Gone? What do you mean?"

Daisuke grabbed Satoshi's shoulders. "I mean he's not there! Something's happened to him."

"It's fine, Niwa-kun," Sayuri said, walking forward. "Just after Dark attacked Nii-san I pulled him into my body, according to plan. But then when Krad started to take over Nii-san's body, I had to pull him into mine as well, so Nii-san wouldn't get hurt."

Satoshi looked up at his sister with wide eyes. "So you have… both in you?"

Sayuri winced and grabbed her head. "They're arguing so much, it hurts."

Satoshi stood and gently held Sayuri's head, making her look at him. "It's okay. Is there a possibility you can give Krad back? It might ease the pain."

Sayuri nodded and closed her eyes. She took a deep breath and Satoshi started to feel Krad's presence again. Before he was fully pushed into his body, though, Sayuri pushed him away just before a bright light radiated off her and two balls of light were extracted from her body, one white, one black.

Satoshi looked at the students and teachers that were watching them. He grit his teeth before holding out his hand and mumbling a phrase in Latin. They all collapsed onto the floor, asleep. He then turned just in time to see the two balls of light form into Krad and Dark.

"Sayuri-sama, what did you do?" Krad said, stepping towards her.

"I-I don't know! You guys were arguing and then I felt a pull and you were standing in front of me!"

"It might be Kokuyoku," Satoshi said, walking back over to Sayuri. "Are you okay?"

"Fine, I just have a little headache, that's all," she replied. "Y-you think that Kokuyoku pulled Krad and Dark out of my body? Is that possible?"

"Niwa-kun's Sacred Maiden has been found and they accept all of him. There's no reason for Krad and Dark to hang around any longer."

"No, they haven't!" Daisuke said, stepping forward. "I broke up with Riku-san. I'm no closer to find my Sacred Maiden now than I was before."

Dark suddenly started laughing and he looked over to Satoshi with a large grin on his face. "Oh, ho, ho, is there something you wanted to tell Dai-chan, Creepy Boy?"

Satoshi turned pink. He'd thought this through. There was a chance that Daisuke could hurt him, but he'd never have a chance at happiness if he didn't take risks. But that didn't mean he had to confess in front of everyone.

"Never mind that," Satoshi said. He glared at Dark then said to Daisuke, "I know it's sudden, Niwa-kun, but this our chance to seal Kokuyoku. I don't know how long Krad and Dark can sustain their bodies like this so we have to take advantage of this situation."

"Seal… Kokuyoku? What are you talking about?" Daisuke said. "Do you mean-?"

"Permanently. If you want to say you goodbye, do it now. Because we only have one shot at this."

Tears filled Daisuke's eyes and he nodded. He then walked over to Dark and hugged him.

"Are you sure about this, Nii-san?" Sayuri asked. "None of our ancestors has been able to seal Kokuyoku, how can we?"

"None of our ancestors had you," he replied. "Out of all the Hikaris and Niwas, not once has there been twins. For whatever reason, you were born and you had the ability to pull Krad and Dark into your body. For the first time, we've been able to separate Krad and Dark from their Tamers."

"It's for the best," Krad said.

Satoshi looked up the blonde. His golden hair was tied back with a cross hanging at the end and he was wearing his usual white robes with his wings spread out behind him. It was strange to see him through his own eyes and outside of his body. He never realised how beautiful Krad was before.

"Our existence," Krad continued, "was never natural, to begin with. Kokuyoku needs to be sealed."

"I'll miss you," Sayuri said, looking down to her feet.

Krad raised an eyebrow and patted Sayuri's head. "I'll… miss you too, Sayuri-sama."

"It's a shame we've only just started to get know each other," Satoshi said.

"Yes." Krad crossed his arms. "I will help as much as I can during the ceremony."

"Thanks. Shall we?"

Satoshi looked over and saw Daisuke pulling out of his hug with Dark, tears streaming down his face. He rolled his eyes then walked over to stand next to Daisuke.

"Pull yourself together, Niwa-kun," Satoshi said. "You need to focus."

Daisuke wiped his eyes and nodded. "What do we need to do?"

"Just follow my lead."

Satoshi held his hands up to where Krad and Dark were standing. He saw Daisuke and Sayuri do the same thing. He took a deep breath then started chanting in Latin. As Daisuke and Sayuri started to do the same, there was a light on the ground beneath where Krad and Dark stood and a magic circle appeared.

"Krad," Dark said as he looked down to the circle. He looked back up to Krad and swallowed. "Before we're sealed, I wanted to tell you something."

"I'm not interested, Mousey," Krad said.

"I know, I know, but I have to say it, otherwise I might regret it."

"Then get on with it, we don't have much time le-"

Krad was cut off when Dark pulled him into a kiss. They pulled apart a second later and Krad could only stare at Dark with wide eyes.

"I know I've been a bit of a jackass to you over the years, but you'll forgive me, right? I mean, I love you."

Krad grit his teeth, grabbed the back of Dark's head and pulled him into another kiss. Satoshi looked over to Sayuri, who was grinning while chanting, then Daisuke, who looked confused. Even though they were being sealed at that moment, it was better late than never.

As Krad and Dark were still kissing, a light shone around them and they started to merge into one being.

Kokuyoku… Satoshi thought.

He didn't stop his chanting and soon the light faded from the being. They had long, black hair; white eyes; and a pair of white wings sprouting from their back. They held a hand out as well and started chanting in time with Satoshi, Sayuri, and Daisuke. The magic circle glowed more intensely as they all kept chanting and soon the edge of the circle surrounded Kokuyoku.

Satoshi started to feel something tear away from his soul. He heard Daisuke cry out next to him but he resisted the urge to do the same. It was more painful than anything he'd ever felt and as he kept going, it got worse. But as the light surrounding Kokuyoku started to glow brighter, he had to close his eyes. Soon enough, it started to fade.

Once the pain was gone, he opened his eyes and looked around the room. Aside from all the unconscious students and teachers, it was empty.

"Are they… gone?" Daisuke asked, walking to the spot where Dark last stood.

Satoshi closed his eyes and tried to feel Krad's presence. It was empty and quiet. He opened his eyes again and said, "They're gone."

Daisuke collapsed onto his knees and started crying. Satoshi frowned as he watched him. He then felt a hand on his shoulder so he turned to look at Sayuri. She gave him a tentative smile, which he returned.

Slytherin – Fanatic 911: Boy howdy, that was a hot mess to write. I feel like having Satoshi and the others seal Kokuyoku is a bit melodramatic but I did state at the beginning of the fic that I'd A) make it flow into Fuyuyasumi and B) stick to the main plot points of the original fic. Sealing Kokuyoku (and Krad & Dark) fit into that. I'm not entirely happy with how things turned out but what's done is done.

Next up is the epilogue. That will wrap everything up. For now, I will say, thanks for being so patient with me while I finish this fic. I appreciate all of you readers, even if you don't leave a review.

Please tell me what you think, though. I love any form of feedback.

Ja Bye Bye Ne
