Epilogue

Daisuke stood at the docks waiting with the rest of the class for the ferry to come. After the events of the last night, he was still in shock over what happened. The whole school trip had been one event after another and now that he was finally heading back, he didn't know how he was going to handle it. What was he going to tell his mother? He'd have to tell her that Satoshi had a twin sister and that Dark and Krad had been permanently sealed. She'd kill him for sure.

"Niwa-kun," Satoshi said, walking up to him. "How are you managing?"

"I found out you have a twin sister, I broke up with my girlfriend, confessed my feelings to you, and sealed Kokuyoku all in one week," Daisuke said, looking to Satoshi. "I've been better."

"It has been a pretty crazy week." Satoshi crossed his arms and frowned at the ocean. "But once we get back, things should settle down again."

"Kaa-chan wanted a boy so badly so that Dark would appear. I don't want to tell her that he's been sealed."

"I'm sure your father and grandfather will help explain things to her rationally. He needed to be sealed."

"Yeah, of course."

They stood in silence for a few minutes. Daisuke looked around at his classmates, where Takeshi was talking with Miyamoto, and Risa was standing with Riku. The events of last night had been blamed on a power failure. The only people who had actually known about the heist were the owners of the hotel and the police, which was lucky, considering what could have happened. None of his classmates, including Takeshi, had any idea that Dark was there.

"What are we going to do?" Daisuke asked. "Everything's gonna be different now."

"We're still young, Niwa-kun," Satoshi replied. "We have plenty of time to fully explore our feelings for each other."

Daisuke froze and felt his face heating up. He started to rub the back of his neck. "Ah, well, I was actually talking about Dark."

Satoshi's cheeks turned pink. "Oh, right. Of course. You meant about his sudden disappearance."

"Yeah, because Saehara and Harada-san will wonder where he went and everything… But, Hiwatari-kun, do you really feel the same way about me?"

Satoshi glared at the ground as he replied, "I've liked you for a while now."

A smile spread across Daisuke's face. "Thanks, Hiwatari-kun."

"Will you tell your family?"

With everything else that happened, Daisuke hadn't even considered what he was going to say to his mother about him breaking up with Riku.

"She'll kill me," Daisuke muttered. "If I tell her about us, she'll kill me."

"We can keep it a secret until you're ready to tell them."

Daisuke sighed. "Oh thank god. She's already gonna be mad enough with Dark."

"Anyway, the ferry will be here soon. I'll talk to you later, Niwa-kun."

Daisuke grinned. "Of course. Talk later, Hiwatari-kun."

Satoshi gave Daisuke a small smile then walked off back to his sister.
