He simply sighed, "Of course I'm not doing this out of some fucked up sense of duty." He tilted his head at her and smirked wryly, "Do you really think I would something I really didn't want to?"
He pulled the ring from the box and slid it on her finger. He then raised her chin gently to look her in the eye.
