Author's Note: Inspired by Despair Island and Total Drama: One Remain stories. Enjoy.

It's been 4 years since The Ridonculous Race ended. Even though the show was on hiatus, the show got pretty popular, especially in the multiverse. Fans are waiting for the brand new season and it finally happened.

The show got so popular again that they decided to host a crossover edition. 22 characters from different worlds are going to compete for one million dollars! Every single person from the multiverse applied for the show, trying to be part of the show.

In the end, 22 characters have been selected as part of the finals in an email, text, or letter:

To (Name):

After a thoughtful review, congratulations! Your audition for Total Drama Island: Crossover Edition has been accepted! We can't wait to see you duke it out with 21 other characters.

Make sure to arrive at White Rock Pier on June 1st by noon. There, you will be escorted to Camp Wawanakwa, where you'll spend up to 8 weeks competing for the million dollars.

See you there!

The Total Drama team.

Soon, June 1st came and all of the crossover characters arrived at the pier, one by one.

"So is this the place where we wait for the boat?" Tiff asked as she arrived with her brother in a taxi.

"Yes, sis. I can't wait to see the host!" Tuff exclaimed.

Tiff and Tuff got out of the taxi, with their bags ready to be pulled out. They grabbed them and went to the end of the pier.

The next taxi came by and a woman got out of the taxi.

"Look out, bitches! Catalina is here to get ya!" Catalina exclaimed.

At the same time, a man got out of the taxi as well.

"I never knew I have to share a taxi with a crazy woman, man." Jim Chapman groaned.

"Don't you mean, a criminal?" Catalina answered him, as she rolled her eyes.

"Yo, you're a criminal?!" Jim gasped.

Another taxi came by and one person got out of the taxi, grabbing their bags.

"Whatsup dudes and dudettes." Jude Liwzoski greeted.

"Hey there!" Tuff greeted back. "My name is Tuff."

"My name is Jude, nice to meet you," Jude said as he fist-bump Tuff.

"Hold up, you forgot me!" Jonesy Garcia got out of the car, approaching him.

"Jonesy, I was just greeting this little dude," Jude said.

"No problem." Jonesy shrugged.

"Hello everyone." A woman who is wearing an American bikini got out of another taxi. "My name is Candy Suxxx."

Jonesy came up to Candy and started to talk to her. "Hey there, babe. Wanna go on a date later on today."

"Ew, no," Candy scoffed. "You look like a loser to me."

"Aww…"

The next person who got out of the taxi was a yellow boy who wore a red shirt and blue shorts.

"Hey there." Bart Simpson greeted. "My name is Bart Simpson."

"Wait, I know you. I used to watch The Simpsons all the time." Jude said happily. "You're Bart Simpson?"

"Yes, I am!" Bart told him. "What's your name?"

"My name is Jude Liwsoki." Jude smiled. "Nice to meet you."

"You never told me that before!" Jonesy said.

"Dudes, it's a really good show." Jude smiled.

Another taxi stopped by and an orange fish got out of the taxi, looking so happy.

"Oh boy! So glad to be here and to meet all of you!" Darwin Watterson exclaimed. "My name is Darwin."

"Whoa, is it me or am I dreaming?" Jude asked everyone.

"A talking fish! They never have those in the aquarium at the mall!" Jonesy acknowledged.

"I have never seen a talking fish before." Candy wondered.

Just then, a sponge got out of the taxi, ready to go.

"I'm ready for the brand new season!" SpongeBob SquarePants exclaimed.

"Now there's a sponge?! When things go wild?!" Jonesy said as he worried.

"Calm down, Jonesy," Jen Masterson told him as she got out of the taxi. "It's just a sponge."

"Yeah!" SpongeBob said. "You know what I do? I cook Krabby Patties."

"Krabby Patties? That sounds sweet." Jonesy smiled. "Do they taste good?"

"Sure, they do!" SpongeBob responded.

"I have a pretty bad feeling about this…" The Journalist, or Robina, said as she got out of the taxi with someone else.

"Don't be." James Earl Cash responded to her.

"Interesting that this will make it or break it as a news cover," Robina said. "I heard this show is going to make millions of views."

"..." Cash didn't say anything else as he grabbed their bags and walked over to where everyone else was at.

Another taxi dropped off two Japanese kids, one boy, and one girl.

"So this is it…" Sonia Nevermind looked at the pier.

"Whatever it is, I bet this will be a great summer." Chihiro Fujisaki blurted.

"I bet it will be, Chihiro." Sonia smiled wide. "Everyone will be glad to meet us."

"Yo, babe. How are you doing today?" Jonesy smirked at her.

"Sorry, but I am dating someone." Sonia exhaled.

"Come on, aren't there any hot chicks around here?" Jonesy sighed sadly.

Another taxi pulls up and another character gets out of the taxi, holding her bags.

"Hello there," Kate Alen greeted. "My name is Kate."

"What's up? What do you do for a living?" Jonesy winked.

"I sing songs and do F-Zero racing," Kate responded.

"Ohh, cool! So you're a singer!" Jonesy exclaimed.

"Yes," Kate said.

"Can you sing a song for us?" Darwin asked her.

"I'll think about it," Kate nodded.

Just then, another taxi came by the pier and it dropped off a girl.

"Hi, my name is Trixie Tang. So glad to meet all of you," Trixie Tang greeted. "This is a solid group so far."

"Hey, Trixie. My name is SpongeBob." SpongeBob grabbed her hand and shook it.

"Wow. A talking sponge." Trixie gasped.

"Poyo! I'm so happy to be here!" Kirby exclaimed as he got off his warp star and it flew away.

"Kirby! Can't believe you're here!" Tiff said as she ran up to her and hugged her.

"Aw, thanks." Kirby smiled.

The next taxi stopped by and three people got out of the taxi this time.

"Man, can't believe I'm here." Cocoa Cookie smiled as she sipped on her hot chocolate.

"Trust me, it ain't that big of a deal." Natalya Ivanova sighed.

"Oh yes. It is a big deal." Mint Coco Cookie told her.

The final taxi came by and it dropped off a film director.

"Oh, finally! I'm here!" Steve Scott cheered. "Oh, I can taste the million dollars in my mouth."

"Steve!" Candy came up to him and hugged him. "Glad you are here competing with me!"

"Well, that's everybody we know," Jonesy said. "Now where is the boat?"

"It should be arriving very soon," SpongeBob told him.

Just at this moment, a big boat hummed its way toward White Rock Pier and it stopped in front of them. Behind the wheel, a captain clad in a fisherman's yellow coat stared blankly ahead.

"Oh, there it is," Kirby said. "The boat is here."

"What are we all waiting for, dudes? Let's get in and rock this summer!" Jude said as he got on the boat.

The twenty-two characters were squeezed into hip-hop seats, putting their luggage on their laps or in front of their feet.

"Oh boy. Can't wait to eliminate all of you guys and win this show." Catalina said evilly.

"Come on, don't you have anything better to do than do crime, Catalina?" Jen questioned her. "Sounds like you have a troubled childhood when you were small."

"What the…how did you know?" Catalina yelled at Jen.

"My brothers played Grand Theft Auto III while our parents weren't looking." Jen chuckled nervously.

"At least she's hot and sexy," Jonesy smirked.

"Think about flirting with me for one second and I'll kick your ass," Catalina explained to Jonesy.

"Uhm…okay," Jonesy gulped.

"Sorry to interrupt your conversation, but does anyone know anything from the show?" Robina announced.

Suddenly, everyone went quiet and begin to think hard. Most of them shrugged or stroked their chins (if they have any).

"That's a great point on that." Mint Coco Cookie agreed. "Do we even know what the island looked like?"

"It's Camp Wawanakwa. What did you expect?" Cash piped up.

"I know, but what does it look like?" Robina questioned him.

"Uhm…" Cash wondered as he didn't know how to answer the question.

"I have seen the reboot season. It's the one with the big cliff." Kirby answered.

"Oh, cool. I have watched the show too. I don't know how Chris brought the island back up after it got sunk at the end of All-Stars." Jude said. "It's like a big mystery to me."

"According to the news, they paid just to bring the island back up and do so many repairs and fixes," Chihiro answered.

"Wow. That's an interesting topic." Trixie pondered.

"Who do you think will host the season?" Cocoa Cookie asked.

"Chris Mclean. He may be getting old and all that, but he's always been the host of the season. Unless he's retiring and having a new host." Sonia explained.

"Chris is getting old," Tuff told her.

"Haha." Kate giggled.

"Come on, let's cheer on celebrating the new season of Total Drama!" Sonia cheered.

Everyone then cheered and laughed happily except for Catalina, who just rolled her eyes in response. And Cash didn't say anything.

"How long does it take to get here?" Cash sighed.

"I don't know, but it should take too long." Mint Coco Cookie answered.

"Wait a minute, I could see the island." Jen squinted at the horizon.

The rest of the contestants leaned forward a bit in their seats. Sure enough, the outline of an island could be vaguely made out. There it was, Camp Wawanakwa.

"Everybody get out. The host will be here slowly." The driver spoke.

"What?" Cash asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Just do what I said." The driver sighed. "I don't get paid enough to do this shit."

Each crossover character stepped out of the boat one by one, trying to shuffle into the pier without dropping their luggage or knocking someone off the boat. After a bit of an uncomfortable departure, all of the contestants successfully got off the boat. The second the last foot had planted itself on the dock, the boat turned away and speed off in the direction it had just come from.

"Wow. That was fast." Jen pointed out. "Didn't even get a chance to say bye."

"Talk about rude and selfless." Cash said, with Robina nodding in agreement.

"Now that we're here, where's the host?" Kirby asked.

"We managed to get our asses here by following the instructions and all that, but the host isn't here," Jim whined.

"Wait!" Kirby exclaimed. "Does anyone heard something?"

"Yeah. It sounds like a helicopter." Natalya answered.

"A helicopter? I love those things." Jude smiled.

"Look!" Cocoa Cookie bellowed, pointing at the sky. All of the characters directed their eyes to where she had pointed her finger.

A chopper was slowly descending closer to where they stood directly. As the helicopter lowered closer to the beach, the whirring of the blades grew louder, prompting the characters to cover their eyes to avoid getting their ears blasted.

Through the flying sand and their strands of blown-about hair, the characters could make out one of the helicopter doors sliding open. A male figure hopped out, landing on the ground.

"Thanks for the ride!" He called out. The chopper began to elevate itself once more, allowing everyone's hearing to return.

When the dust cleared, the characters withdrew their hands from their heads. The man who leaped from the copter was in his late forties, overweight, and wears a large white towel around his neck and a golden necklace. He also wears a purple Hawaiian shirt with nothing under it, grey shorts with a leather belt with a star-shaped metal buckle, black slippers, and sunglasses.

"So," He chirped, facing his confused audience. "Not the entrance you were all expecting, huh."

"Whoa. You ride a helicopter. That is awesome." Jude said.

"Thanks, Jude."

"You, you know my name!" Jude said as his eyes widened.

"So you're the new host," Catalina said. "Way to arrive on time."

"Right, I want to apologize for that. My interns aren't perfect."

"Geez, just like my life." Jen sighed.

"Hold a minute, I haven't even introduced myself properly. Contestants, I'm Lionel Starkweather. I'll be your host on Total Drama Island: Crossover Edition."

Some of the characters clapped upon hearing the name of the show. Others rolled their eyes at the flair.

"So your name is Lionel Starkweather?" Tuff asked, visibly confused about this.

"Yes, you are right. I remember your audition well. Speaking of, I suppose you all know the rules, right?"

"Yes. We do." Tiff said.

"Prove it, then."

"We all going to live on the island." Robina started.

"Every week, we're going to participate in a challenge. Some will give us immunity while others give us rewards." Candy continued.

"Along the way, we're supposed to make friends, enemies, or lovers." Cocoa Cookie said.

"And then after every challenge, we all take a vote to send somebody home." Mint Coco Cookie said.

"Until one is left and wins $1 million dollars." Jen finished.

"So you understand the basic premise," Starkweather asked, putting his finger to his chin.

"It wasn't hard. We have watched the show." Jonesy answered.

"I see. But you still have a lot of things you don't know about the show."

"Like?" Catalina raised an eyebrow, confused.

"Well, I can't just tell you all of it now." Starkweather grinned. "Follow me, everyone. I will show you the island around."

The path wound through the woods, leading the characters through the tick Canadian pine and allowing them to drink in the landscape of their eventual home. The occasional wooden pole with a loudspeaker atop it served as the only variety among nature. Starkweather led along the way.

"Campers!" Starkweather announced, spreading his arms wide as he led them into an open area. "Welcome to your new campground!"

The clearing was an open circular area, perfectly separated in half by the dirt path. The left side contained one wooden building with double doors. Off to the side, a series of logs circled what could be assumed to be a bonfire pit. Between both structures was another pole with a loudspeaker, although this one was several feet higher than the ones in the forest.

On the right side, two wooden cabins were situated alongside the trail.

"Whoa. This place looks great." Jonesy said.

"I'm glad you're fond of it." Starkweather flashed a smile. "The large building to your left is the Mess Hall. You all will occupy it for three meals a day."

"Oh yeah!" Kirby shouted.

"Follow me."

Starkweather led the twenty-two characters through the double doors. The inside was pretty cool.

"So who's the chef?" Jen asked.

"Ah! Campers, I'll like to introduce you to your cook, Teruteru Haramuma." Starkweather said. "He'll be preparing and serving you food in these weeks to come."

"Hello there." Tertueru waved.

"Come now, I bet you have all been waiting to see your cabins."

The characters were led back outside, returning to face the cabins. The group of characters filed close to the doorway, looking inside the cabins. There were two doors - one boy and one girl. There were three sets of bunk beds lined each wall. There were also drawers as well.

"That's it?!" Catalina asked.

"Yeah, it looks out of space," Tiff said.

"There are twenty-two characters in this and only two cabins. So there will be 11 people in your cabin." Starkweather said.

"That's neat." Jen sighed.

"I got a question. Where do we use the bathroom?" Steve asked, raising his hand.

"Good question, Steve. The outhouse is multi-purpose!" Starkweather grinned, before mentioning the outhouse next to the cabins.

"Hey, there's a camera here!" Sonia exclaimed as she opened the door.

"That camera exists for one reason only: confessionals! Whenever you enter there, you can use it as an opportunity to share private thoughts or feelings, away from all of the characters." Starkweather explained.

Confessional: Tiff

"So far, this is getting creepy and awkward. The real host for this season is an old man?"

"But what if we actually have to use the bathroom?" SpongeBob asked.

"Now let's move on to the other area," Starkweather said.

As the scenery returned to pine trees and loudspeaker poles while the animals watched closely, Tiff fidgeted with her bag. They have been walking for quite some time now.

"Um, Starkweather? Can we stop somewhere soon?" Tiff asked him.

"Now, now, Tiff. We're getting closer to our destination. It can't be more than 10 minutes until we're there. Then, you can all rest." Starkweather gestured to the trail ahead.

"What destination?" Jen questioned.

"Here we here, guys: The Arts and Crafts Center and Medical Building!" Starkweather exclaimed.

The Arts and Crafts Center is a building where the main purpose was to store items that could be used for recreational purposes or items for challenges. It was semi-big and was pretty nice. The Medical Building is a place where the contestants get treated for injuries and stuff like that.

"Arts and crafts? That sounds like a fun activity." Coco Cookie smiled.

"Does the building has makeup?" Trixie asked him.

"Yes. This building has every arts and craft supply you can ever imagine." Starkweather said.

"That's amazing!" Trixie said. "Now I can apply makeup to my face."

While the character looked inside the two buildings, another intern named Cerberus came up to Starkweather.

"The chopper's been taken care of," Cerberus said.

"Good job, guys. Glad you are doing so well in your job." Starkweather chuckled.

"Have you got to the part yet? They seemed happy."

"Very soon, I will. They won't be happy when I tell them what I have planned for them."

"Good."

Cerberus then left the area, going down the path to where he came from.

"Alright, campers!" Starkweather clapped his hands, making everyone look at him. "There's one final stop in this tour."

The contestants departed from the Arts and Crafts Center and once again, followed him.

The distance along the trail between the Arts and Crafts Center and the upcoming stop was much shorter than the other portions of the path.

"Uhm, honey?" Cocoa Cookie said to him.

"What is it?" Mint Coco Cookie questioned.

"I was wondering, are we on TV?" Cocoa Cookie asked/answered.

"Sure. I saw some cameramen across the place along with a couple of other cameras." He replied.

"Oh, man. Wait until our kingdom sees all of this." She said happily.

Meanwhile, another conversation was going on too.

"So, I bet that Catalina goes out first," Jen whispered to Jonesy.

"I bet she won't. She's hot and beautiful." Jonesy smirked.

"And she's older than you. So you can't date her or something." Jen told him.

"Come on. Can't I have a cougar for once?" Jonesy sighed.

"You're 21 years old, Jonesy." Jen sighed. (A/N: They have a time skip in their universe)

"Campers, here is our final stop!" Starkweather exclaimed.

The cast followed their host to a third and final stop: a stage. A large wooden platform, roughly a foot and a half high, rested against a forest backdrop. There were curtains and lights decorating it. Below it was a collection of roughly two seats lined into close-knit rows.

"A stage?" Bart asked as he was interested.

"A theater." Starkweather corrected him. "Everyone, please take your seats."

The characters obeyed, seeking out their own seat. Mint Coco Cookie and Cocoa Cookie were quick to sit next to one another, Jonesy attempted to sit next to Catalina, but she switched seats, leaving him to sit between Jen and Jude. Candy sat next to Steve.

"I'm nervous about this." Candy admitted.

"Same." Steve nodded.

Starkweather strode past each row of seated people, making his way to the stage via the stairs. Once he got up to the stairs, he turned to face the characters.

"Everyone. I want to apologize." Starkweather started.

"Apologize for what?" Jude asked.

"For a lot of things. But for mainly one thing."

Starkweather released a sharp whistle. As if on cue, a black guy came out holding a sniper rifle.

"Before I reveal it, this is my friend, Ramirez. I'll explain what he does later." Starkweather said.

"H-hi?" Bart waved nervously.

"I lied to you all," Starkweather said.

The sight of the firearms coupled with Starkweather's words sent panic to the characters. Some of them were shocked, some were panicking, and others were surprised.

"So, what are the guns?" Mint Coco Cookie questioned him.

"Don't worry. These guns aren't for you guys." Starkweather said.

Suddenly, everyone stopped panicking and calmed down.

"Now. Let me explain everything before you guys start to panic again." Starkweather said.

"O-okay." Trixie gulped.

"First of all, this is my show." Starkweather started. "My good friend had managed to make you board the ferry and was able to intercept all of you."

Each word felt like an ice cube was dropped into the characters' hearts. Some of them got into quiet and shaky fear. Others began to feel queasy or light-headed.

"Now allow me to explain the rules. First of all, you were all spot-on about most of it really. However…"

"However?" Jonesy gulped.

"When the time to vote off a contestant goes around. They will not be going home. Instead, they will die." Starkweather said.

The announcement dropped like a hydrogen bomb. A majority of the contestants were now in tears.

"Second of all, every week, you will participate in the challenge, all of which have been decided by our group. As previously mentioned, the winner of the challenges will receive a prize, which is immunity and a prize. Then, you all are rounded up to vote." Starkweather explained.

"Voting is pretty simple. You all will be given a slate of contestants to pick from. You will probably have a reason to be on the slate - poor performance, negative reputation among the cast, etc. Each one of you will pick one constant as your vote for elimination."

"And what if we don't want to vote?" Kirby asked.

"You have to. And if you choose not to, we will give you a warning the first time and then punishment." Starkweather said.

"Anyways, once the votes have been decided, you will all gather here at this theater. The eliminated contestant will be revealed and you will watch their elimination live and in person. After that is done, you will all go back to your cabins and relax until the next challenge."

"Relax? How are we supposed to relax if someone dies in front of us?!" Jude said in a panic.

"It's just a general term."

"What if…we want to leave the island?" Candy began to ask.

"You can't. We have cameras everywhere, under 24/7 surveillance. Any attempt to leave the island will be caught and punishment will be doled out. Aka instant elimination at the elimination ceremony. The same goes for trying to kill me too."

"Third, there will be two teams of 11. Just like the show stated." Starkweather continued.

"Oh, good. I thought we have to compete by ourselves or something." Jim sighed.

After a few tense moments, Kirby raised his hand, as it was shaking.

"What do we win at the end?"

Starkweather paused before breaking out into a chuckle.

"You win life and $1 million dollars. You receive the money and be dropped off back at the pier, where you go back to your own universe and enjoy life."

"A million dollars?!" Kirby asked. "That sounds sweet, but also despairing at the same time."

"Thank goodness Caitlin is not here." Jen sighed sadly.

"Oh, and the internet's nonexistent here. You have no connection to the outside world." Starkweather said real quick.

"Dammit!" Jonesy said.

"Right, then! Let's get to sorting our teams. When I call out your name, you'll be in that team." Starkweather said.

"Jude, Tuff, Natalya, Jonesy, Candy, Catalina, Darwin, Sonia, SpongeBob, Trixie, and Robina. You'll be known as The Screaming Hope."

"The rest of you: Tiff, Kirby, Cash, Steve, Kate, Mint Coco Cookie, Cocoa Cookie, Jen, Chihiro, Bart, and Jim. You'll be known as The Killer Despair."

"Finally, I want to announce something. There is another way to living than just winning the entire competition." Starkweather said as he pulls out a wooden carving with pictures of angels on them. "This is a Life Idol. Only three of them are hidden on this island. Once you find it, you will go to a resort where you remain there for the rest of the competition."

"That sounds sweet," Jude said.

"Anyways, that is all. Make sure you memorize your team cabins firmly, so you know which team you are staying at. And other than that, that's all. We will be doing the challenge tomorrow since the sun is setting. See all of you tomorrow morning for your first challenge."

Starkweather flashed a grin before motioning for the characters to grab their bags and head to their cabins. They rose one by one, grabbing their luggage as they were not happy with the outcome of this.

"You sick freak!" Cash exclaimed.

"Cash, before you go. I want to make this one single rule: you CANNOT and will not explain my identity and what I did to you to everyone. It's best not to reveal the past. If you do, I will personally eliminate you myself, whether the team wins or not." Starkweather explained to him.

"Fuck!" Cash said as he left.

"Heh heh. This is going to be a fun summer for me…" Starkweather smirked.

Everyone was somber during their walk back, exchanging teary-eyed glances for a moment but never speaking to one another. They went to the cabins to settle in for the day.

Inside the Screaming Hope girls' cabin, the girls were starting to cry, with the exception of Catalina.

"I can't die!" Candy sobbed. "I can't die! I got friends and a girlfriend at home! I've got people who care about me!"

The girls exchanged uneasy looks. Candy's words were all over their minds. Each one of them has friends, families, and even girlfriends/boyfriends who were planning on seeing their faces on TV. But now, despair fills the room. Twenty-two characters were on this island, and only 1 to 4 people will return to their worlds alive.

By that math, it's improbable that any of them got to go home.

"So, who cares? It's now officially an elimination game." Catalina said. "The last person standing will get to go home unless they find a Life Idol."

"And you probably don't care about death. All you care about is money and life." Candy said angrily.

"Bitch, you'll be the first to die if you don't shut the fuck up," Catalina said.

"Have it your way. I am very popular and can do better than you!" Candy yelled.

"Girls, can you please stop? I'm trying to put my makeup on." Trixie sighed as she rolled her eyes and put her makeup on to get rid of the runny mascara.

"She started it." Candy groaned.

"I don't think fighting about something is worth it," Sonia explained. "All of this reminded me of a killing game hosted by Monokuma."

"Wait, you were in a killing game?" Robina asked her.

"Yeah. I was a survivor of it. And the killings were horrible. We lost half of the students until there were 5 of us." Sonia said.

"Hold up, they k-killed someone?" Robina gulped.

"Yep. Just to escape Jabberwock Island or have another motive reason." Sonia sighed. "For example, Teruteru killed the Ultimate Imposter so he can stop Nagito from killing, but failed."

"That's awful," Natalya said.

"Let me explain more about it," Sonia said.

For the next few hours, Sonia explained the Killing School Trip in one go, explaining the killing game.

Meanwhile, inside the boys' cabin in the Screaming Hope, the boys were scared for their lives.

"Man, this is insane," Tuff said.

"It's kinda upsetting that I won't be making out of this alive if I get eliminated. No more Patrick, no more Krusty Krab, and no more seeing all of my friends and family!" SpongeBob cried.

"You're right. I probably won't be able to see my family again…" Darwin said as he teared up.

"Dudes, relax. At least it can't get any worse." Jude sighed.

"Worse?! I haven't got an official girlfriend or got married, Jude. And I'll die without accomplishing those goals!" Jonesy panicked.

"Jonesy's right. We probably won't be able to see our favorite places nor friends and families again." SpongeBob said.

"Are you telling me that there's no hope?!" Jude asked them.

"Yes."

"Bummer."

The scene flashes to Killer Hope's Cabin. Inside the girls' cabin, the girls were scared too.

"I knew it," Jen mumbled. "I knew something was up."

"You are right about that," Kate said. "I don't know what we are going to do. Escaping from this nightmare is not an option as we could face death if we try."

"Don't say that. You'll jinx it and somebody could die from it."

"Not like it's going to happen. We all know better than to try to escape."

"Yeah, right." Cocoa Cookie sighed sadly.

"Ooh, let's talk about our favorite foods!" Tiff said.

"Come on, let's distract the situation by talking," Kate told them.

"Not like it's going to matter anymore…" Jen said.

"Come on, my favorite food is rice balls!" Tiff said.

"Well, my favorite is chocolate," Kate answered.

"Mines are chicken nuggets," Jen replied.

"I don't have a favorite. I just like to eat whatever is tasty." Cocoa Cookie smiled.

Confessional: Jen

"It's not like I'm trying to cheer everyone up, but we need a miracle to happen than just despair."

Meanwhile, in the boys' cabin of the Killer Despair:

"Aw snap! We'll all going to die down here, on this island!" Jim panicked.

"Calm down, you'll make things worse from there." Mint Coco Cookie said.

"This is very bad, indeed. I don't want to go down as the first person in the history of this show." Steve said in a panic.

"Meh. I have seen worse stuff than this. All I can hope is that I don't get eliminated." Bart shrugged.

"..." Cash didn't say anything since he got back from the cabin. All he's thinking about is Starkweather's words. He knew him in the past and he doesn't know how is he alive and well.

"Bart, will your family miss you if you die?" Steve asked him.

"Wait, you are right about that. Lisa would probably be sad the most as she is my sister." Bart answered.

"That's the despairing spirit…" Steve sighed.

After that was said and done, everyone settled for bed and they all fell asleep.

For one unlucky character, tonight will be the last time they ever sleep.
