*Anna Pov*

Kristoff hooked up the sled to Sven while I sat in it. He still had the same one I gave him 4 years ago, it didn't look as shiny or as new anymore, it had cracks and was dis-colored in the typical Kristoff fashion.

"Are you ready?" He asked me, concern on his face. I nodded in response and we rode off into the green forest. Surprisingly his sled still worked on grass, he said he made a few modifications maybe that was them. But it was good that we had it because we were going to be on snow very soon.

*A couple of hours later*

"Kristoff stop!" I yelled seeing dark red blood in the snow.

"Anna, that was from yesterday..." He said, pained.

"Elsa's?" I asked sadly.

"No, the witch. Her name was Samantha, Hans betrayed her too and sent minions out to kill Elsa and I but she distracted them, and they got her." He said.

"Why is there all this death Kristoff? I'm so sick of this, I want my sister back. I'd even want Hans back if it mean the death stopping. Nothing ever goes right for us." I said, turning away from the blood in the melty snow.

"I wish I could stop it Anna, I wish but I don't have that kind of power over the world to stop war or famine or disease. It's just the world and we're tiny pieces in it but I would stop it if I could, I would bring Elsa back if I could. I'm sorry." He said hugging me gently as Sven continued up the North Mountain. We were almost there.

Kristoff kept glancing at me as we climb higher and higher into the cold mountain air, waiting for a reaction.

My reaction is dread and sadness. I want to see Elsa but there's a dread to not seeing her alive, not feeling her hugs or listen to her stories or saying 'Anna' in an annoyed tone. I miss that. Sadness because she's... gone. I'll never get any of those things again. I dozed off for a second and then Kristoff was telling me we were there.

I sighed heavily and got out of the sled shakily feeling stupid for coming in all black. I should have come in blue, Elsa's favorite color. I climbed the stairs ahead of Kristoff, stopping at the closed front door. Do I knock? I don't want to barge in. I knocked on the door three solid times and it swung open, to my surprise. I walked inside and looked around, Hans had completely wrecked the place. He destroyed her fountain, threw shards into the walls and chipped the floors and stairs.

"Where is she?" I asked Kristoff turning back to him.

"Upstairs." He replied quietly. I took a shaky breath and walked up the stairs feeling more and more upset with each step. I peaked through the door way and I saw her. She was covered in ice much like I was when she froze my heart on accident, but she was laying down in the middle of the room. She looked like she could be moved, like she wasn't frozen to the ground just her body covered in ice.

"Oh Elsa, you're beautiful." I said a tears escaping my eyes as I walked closer to her. I leaned down and grabbed her hand, I couldn't move her arm or close her fingers around my own, she was solid ice. We could pick her up and bring her back to Arendelle for a proper burial but didn't want that. Neither would she. Kristoff stood awkwardly in the corner, respecting out privacy I guess. I touched Elsa's cheek and felt a warmth in the ice. The ice was warm, burning hot actually! "Kristoff, the ice is hot." I said excitedly.

"That's not possible it's ice." Kristoff said walking over to Elsa and I. "Maybe it's so cold it's burning your hand?" My hand was burning.

"No feel her cheek." I said removing my hand. He put the back of his hand to her face and pulled it back.

"Feels like a burning cold to me." He said examining his hand, that began to form a slight frost on it. I looked at my own and snowflakes were scattered around my skin. Maybe it was just a burning cold. Warmth didn't leave snowflakes or frost on your skin, but I couldn't but feel doubt in Kristoff's theory. I felt warmth.

Kristoff went back to his corner and watched me look Elsa up and down, touching different parts of her legs, arms and abdomen trying to feel the same warmth I got from her cheek. It wasn't there. It was just her face that had the "burning cold" as Kristoff called it. I was confused, and hopeful. Kristoff is the ice man, he knows ice and I know my sister. Something is happening.

*Kristoff Pov*

I watched Anna interact with Elsa, she was looking for the "warmth" as she liked to call it. The sun was setting and I knew we would have to leave if we wanted to be back before night fall. I didn't want to interrupt Anna. She loves her sister, and this is her goodbye. Anna looked confused and hopeful. I'm an ice man, I know ice, ice can't be warm, but Elsa can be. No... Nothing is happening.

Hey guys!

I wrote a new fanfiction. (Not for Frozen sadly) it's for The Hunger Games so if ya want to check that out I would appreciate it.

Make sure to leave a comment. I have no clue why I started it but I did but I'm going to focus more on this story. I'll write a sequel after my HG one is done. I just want to branch out and stick myself into different types of stories and characters, I don't want to be limited to one thing. I'm even thinking about doing a OUAT fanfiction.

Maybe even a OUAT, Frozen cross over. Who knows, I will always appreciate Frozen and write stories for it but I want to branch out and if you guys don't read my other stories that aren't fully Frozen that's ok. But if you do I appreciate the support.

The Hunger Games Fanfic is called History.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I love writing it. :)

Bye
