She stumbled and fell yet again, why was it so hard to move? She felt like a baby learning to walk. A baby learning to walk in snow up to her ankles. Her body ached and she could barely keep her eyes open, her insides burned from not getting enough air. She felt like crying, like giving up, only the thought of one person kept her going. Anna.
Her sister. Elsa had to tell her everything was going to be fine, that she was fully ready to be an aunt now. She moved, each step burning, sweat made her face glisten. Then the real problems started. Suddenly her nose bled, dripping blood in the white snow. Her body shook uncontrollably, her head spinned. She moved to quickly, she didn't have time to make sure she was actually ok. She coughed spitting up blood and fell face first into the snow.

He was so tiny, my baby boy. My son! I'm a mommy! Joseff Farkus Bjorgman, he was pink And had thin little hairs of blond on his tiny head. The mid-wife put a little hat on him to make sure he was warm. I held him so close I don't think I couldn't be warm. Kristoff hovered so close to him, I could feel his warm breath on my own skin. Olaf would be so-
My face frowned for a second. Olaf couldn't be happy to see the baby, neither could Elsa.
Joseff cried, bringing my attention right back to him, where it belonged.
"What do we do?" Kristoff panicked.
"I don't know, is he hungry?" I said looking at my red faced newborn son, he already had a good set of lungs. The mid-wife chuckled at our cluelessness.
"Oh dearies, that's a hungry cry. He's a newborn and you Princess Anna have not eaten properly in a while, since Elsa actually. Makes sense he would be so hungry now." She said smiling at the screaming child in my arms. "Breast is best, get them out dear."
"Wait what?" I asked startled, what a creepy demand.
"Breast milk is good for babies, the healthiest way! Babies are smarter the longer he's fed breast milk." I nodded, this was going to be awkward.
Kristoff's cheeks turned red as he grabbed our crying son. The mid-wife helped situate me and taught me how to tell of he latched on correctly.
He latched on his second try, that's my baby boy.
(AN: I feel so uncomfortable right now but I want to make this as accurate as possible, good god what I do for you guys I had to research this stuff)
*Kristoff Pov*
He slept soundly in my arms, he was so tiny and fragile. I had only known Joseff for a few hours but I already loved him so much. He had Anna's little nose that hopefully wouldn't change into my horrible one when he was older. I hadn't seen his eyes yet, I know all babies are born with blue eyes and change when they're older but if his eyes are a specific bright blue, I know that they won't change.
Anna slept peacefully too, she was exhausted and rightfully so. Joseff stirred in my arms and cried out, his little face turning red. I tried to rock him back to sleep but he kept screaming, Anna opened her eyes slowly and turned toward us. I gave her a worried smile and handed Joseff to her.
"He's probably hungry again." She yawned.
"Or many needs a diaper change." I said excitedly. I wanted to be that first one I change his diaper.
"Well you can check daddy." Anna smiled handing our baby back to me. Joseff stopped crying for a second and looked up at me. His eyes were a bright, sparkly blue. Anna's eyes. I smiled and brought him to the changing table the mid-wife set up in our room. We also brought his crib into our room so we weren't far from him. I checked his diaper, it was the only thing on him anyway, so I didn't have to mess with a onesie. He did use it, do I cleaned him up and put him in a fresh one. He smiled a little gummy smile before falling asleep in my warm arms. Anna fell back asleep too. I kissed her forehead then Joseff's.
My little family.
*Elsa Pov*
I woke up in a bed, in a tiny wooden cottage. I sat up slowly, looking around. It seemed well organized, there was silver ware on the table and a delicious smell coming from the boiling pot on the tiny stove. My stomach growled in response, I was famished.
How did I even get here? Last thing I remembered was falling face down into the snow. Someone must have found me but who? Suddenly the front door swung open and a tall man walked through the door carrying wood for his fire. I could see snow on him and his boots so we must still be high up in the mountains. He set down the woods gently in a neat pile and turned to me.
"Glad to see you're awake." He grinned, his forest green eyes illuminating. He had light, blondish brown hair that was neatly and shaved short on the sides. It was shorter than both Kristoff and Eider. He had stubble around his mouth and on his chin, less than Eider but more than Kristoff. (AN: for his hair color and style think of Robin Hood from OUAT I couldn't describe it properly lol)
"Names Michael." He said sticking out his hand, his fingernails were trimmed nice and short his wrist were somewhat hairy.
"Elsa." I said taking it. His green eyes looked startled for a second.
"Queen." He nodded bowing slightly. " I heard something terrible happened to you." He said releasing my hand and going to stir, what I assumed to be a stew, on his stove.
"Something did, but it's complicated." I said looking down. I felt him starring at me.
"How did you find me?" I asked narrowing my eyes at him. He chuckled briefly and put down the spoon he was using to stir on his counter.
"I hike, you were face down in the snow, you're welcome." He grinned with a wink. I rolled my eyes.
"What do you do?" I asked.
"What do ya mean?" He asked pouring stew into two bowls. My stomach growled loudly.
"Job." I said.
"I own that stables in town. Do horse shoes and things." He smiled.
"Why do you live all the way up here then?"
"I like the isolation, I'm free to do what ever I want." He said putting the bowls on the table and beckoning me forward. I rose from his bed and walked over to the table, sitting down. He placed a piece of bread in front of me and a glass of water. "Dinner is served." He said removing his jacket and revealing a casual plaid button up. He kicked off his hocking boots and put them by the door. He sat down in the cashier across from me and put a spoonful of stew into his mouth, I did the same and groaned in appreciation. It's been a long time since I've eaten.
"How long have I been here?" I asked wiping my mouth with a napkin.
"You've been sleeping for a day. I found you last evening." He said biting into his bread.
"I need to get back to Adendelle." I said sternly.
"Yeah of course my Queen, let's go tomorrow morning." He said eyeing me from across the table.
He was handsome for a stable boy. Tall too, 6"1 perhaps. You could tell he was well muscled from working with horses. He had a nice, square, strong jaw that flexed every time he chewed. His nose was slightly crooked but that was the only flaw that I could see, his teeth even seemed straight. He caught me starring at him and pointed at my left hand with his spoon.
"Who's the lucky guy?" He asked.
"Prince Eider." I said looking down at my ring finger at the sparkling diamond. I barley knew Michael but I felt safe and comfortable around him. We continued eating his delicious stew in silence jut starring at each other. He reminded me of 3 men that I love. My father, Kristoff and Eider. It was very strange.
"Want more stew?" He asked noticing my empty bowl. I nodded and he scooped him and I another bowl. He gave me more bread too.
"Thank you." I said.
"No problem I have plenty of stew." He said with a shrug.
"For everything, for helping me." I emphasized.
" Oh, um you're welcome. Honestly no need to thank me. I couldn't have just left you there." He ran a hand through his hair.
I nodded. "I would have done the same."
He smiled, "So the Queen would save a stable boy like me?"
"Of course, it's the Queen's duty to help her people." I replied, my hands fidgeting nervously in my lap. Everyone in a while I took a bite of stew. He chewed, watching me closer with those intense green eyes.
"Ya it is, I suppose." He smirked. He grabbed his bowl and threw it in the sink for him to wash later. He put on his boots and jacket. "See you later." He waved.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"More firewood and to tie up my dog." He explained throwing a beanie on his head. The sun was starting to set so I knew it was going to be cold, especially this high in the mountains. Summer was strange here.
"You have a dog?" I asked.
"He's a puppy actually, I just got him but I've been keeping him in my tool shed so he wouldn't bug you." He shrugged opening his door, a cold breeze blew in but I didn't shiver.
"Please bring him in." I said. "If hate to do that to..." I trailed off not knowing the dogs name.
"It's Shiloh." He said.
"Shiloh..." I said with a nod. "It's unusual for a boy."
"And it's unusual for people to be so proper." He said with a sneaky grin and disappeared out side. A few moments later he opened the door and a little grey and white puppy bounded in. Shiloh looked like a husky.
"Husky?" I asked but he had already shut the door, Shiloh bounded around happily sniffing everything, he hadn't noticed me yet. "Hello." I said, to the puppy. He turned to me and yipped running over. He hopped into my laugh and snuggled in.
Michael ran in throwing more firewood into the pile.
"Shiloh, off!" He commanded with a snap of the fingers. Shiloh opened one blue eye and closed it again. "Sorry bout him." He shrugged.
"No it's fine I replied."
"Why do you wanna get home so quickly?" Michael said after a few moments of silence.
"I've been gone for a while, my sister, Anna, is pregnant. I want to be there for her, I need to step up and be Queen again. My fiancé-"
"Oh." He said quietly.
He continued talking but I blocked him out. I could only think about Anna, my kingdom, Kristoff and my niece or nephew.
I needed them back. I had to see them to let then know I was okay, let them know I was going to stay forever. I will never leave my family again.
