*Anna Pov*
"Princess Anna why have you called us here today?" One council man said.
"Well, it's about Elsa. It's pretty funny actually. Like not in a that's hilarious but in a it's kinda strange and please don't freak out! She's perfectly normal." I ranted.
"What is she talking about?" One man mumbled.
"She's a new mother, give her a break." A younger council man said, he was new.
"Please excuse Anna's ranting, we have important news to tell- well show you." Kristoff said, wrapping and arm around me. Then the door to the meeting hall opened and in walked Elsa. Graceful, beautiful and slightly nervous.
"QUEEN ELSA?" They all gasped. One man fell out of his seat, another choked on water, the young council man's face turned white.
"Hello." She said.
"What?" The main council man said. "You're dead. I'm seeing DEAD PEOPLE?" He said with a slight shriek.
"Everyone calm down." Elsa yelled. They all stopped their freaking out and looked at her with huge eyes. "Yes, I was dead. No I am not a ghost. My ice magic healed me up on that mountain. My ice enclosed around me and healed me. I don't know how it happened but it did. I'm back and would like to continue being Queen of Arendelle. Does anyone have any problems with that?" She asked. All the council shook there head at the same time. "Good, I'm glad." She bowed and the men erupted into applause.
"I thought Anna was going to have to be Queen." One joked.
"You guys are taking this surprisingly well..." I said.
"It's not the craziest thing to happen to me!" One laughed, spitting slightly.
"Me either." Elsa laughed back, all the men came up and hugged her glad to have her alive and well. Almost all of the men worked with our mother and father so they knew Elsa and I from when we were small children. The new guy hung back.
"Who's that?" Elsa asked gesturing to him.
"Oh he's the new guy." I replied.
"A new, young, council man?" Elsa questioned. "Where's Hupert?" She asked.
"He retired, he is 74." I said.
"That is true." Elsa smiled it was so god to have her back. I hugged her and she hugged me tightly back.
"I missed you!" I said.
"I missed you too."
"Sorry to interrupt my Queen, I'm Thomas Grant." The new guy said bowing and sticking out his hand to Elsa. "I replaced Hupert Grant. I'm his grandson."
"Nice to meet you Thomas." Elsa said shaking his hand with a slight bow.
"I'm happy your alive my grandfather spoke of you regularly. I can't wait to tell him you're ok. You're the reason he retired. He didn't want to be on council if you weren't there."
"Heyyyyyy." I said slightly hurt. I was next in line for the throne.
"No offense Princess Anna. I'm sure you would have been fine." Thomas said with a sweet smile. "Pleasure meeting you Queen and I will see you at our next meeting."
"Goodbye." Elsa said.
"Bye." He replied turning to mingle with other council men.
Gwyneth burst into the room, her hair all frazzled. "QUEEN ELSA IS ALIVE." She yelled.
"YES DARLING WE KNOW THAT ALREADY!" The head council man yelled back.
"Gwyneth, I've missed you." Elsa said giving her a hug. Gwyneth hugged her back but was still shocked.
"I'm so happy you're safe." Gwyneth said.
"I'm happy to be back."
"What about Eider, Elsa?" I interrupted, I saw the way Thomas looked at her. It wasn't a big deal she was very beautiful, but by Thomas' grandfather telling himstories of Elsa everyday there's a chance he could have fallen in love with her. I fell in love with a man in a story book when I was younger. I know how it is, but Elsa's real. And engaged.
"I don't know Anna. He left. What am I supposed to do about it?" She asked, pulling away from Gwyneth.
"We could go to him." I suggested.
"You know how I feel about boats." She said. "And you don't want to bring your infant son on a dirty boat."
"No, I'd leave him here with Kristoff and the mid-wife."
"What?" Kristoff said in the background.
"I know, I know. Fine, just for Eider." She breathed.
"When should we leave?" I asked.
"In one week, give me time to sort this "I'm Alive" stuff out." She asked.
"Of course." I said hugging her again. Kristoff came up behind us and hugged us too, Gwyneth joined in also.
"Group hug." Gwyneth said with a laugh.
"Dream Team group hug." Kristoff reminded us. I laughed, I guess we were a dream team.
*One Week Later*
"You're all ready to go your majesty." The royal ship crew man said.
"Thank you." Elsa said shakily. She really hated boats.
"Bye." Kristoff said kissing me passionately.
"Bye." I said when we pulled away. I hugged and kissed our little Joseff and hugged Gwyneth. "You ready?" I asked taking Elsa's shaking hand.
"Ready as I'll ever be." She replied squeezing me hand and we stepped aboard our ship. "How long is this voyage?" Elsa asked the Captain.
"About 5 days yer majesty." He replied with a bow.
"Thank you." Elsa replied. We went underneath the deck to our rooms for the next five days.
"Well this is cozy." I said sitting on the squeaky bed.
"Yes, very... cozy." Elsa replied sitting at the desk in there.
"What are you going to say to Eider?" I asked.
"That I'm alive, I love him and I want him to come home so we can get married." She smiled.
"Finally." I muttered.
*5 Days Later*
Gosh I missed Kristoff and Joseff so much. I was home sick and Elsa, well Elsa was just sea sick.
"When are we going to be there." Elsa asked. Her face was pale and she had already thrown up over the side of the boat.
"Ruddulfia is just in the distance my Queen." The Captain said with a soothing touch to her back.
"Thank you." Elsa moaned turning back to the side of the ship. One of the crew men brought her a fizzy drink.
"Drink this your majesty, it helps with sickness and hangovers." He said with a slight chuckle. She took it gratefully and sipped it.
"Taste like ginger." She observed.
"Ginger helps the stomach!" Another crew man shouted out carrying a box passed us.
"Feel better?" I asked.
"A little." She replied.
"LAND HO!" A crew member shouted.
"Finally." Elsa said gratefully.
We docked and Elsa rushed off the boat looking like she would kiss the ground. Of course she didn't. That just wasn't "Queen like".
"Queen Elsa, we didn't know you were visiting!" A royal assistant said.
"It was a surprise." Elsa said. "Where can I find Prince Eider?" She asked.
"In the castle Queen Elsa." He said. Elsa nodded and we walked towards the castle with determination. The guards let us in and we walked straight into King Caleb.
"Elsa?" He exclaimed, dropping his paper work.
"And Anna." I mumbled.
"Eider told me you died." He said picking up the papers.
"I did but my magic healed me." She explained quickly. "Where is Eider?"
"Umm, it's probably not wise to go looking for him you see Elsa he-"
"Elsa?" Came a familiar voice.
"Eider!" She said turning to him, only to find another woman attached to his arm. "Eider?"
"Eider who's this?" The woman asked kindly.
"Well Isabelle..." He said trying to control his emotions. "This is an old friend of mine from the kingdom of Arendelle, Queen Elsa."
"Old friend?" Elsa questioned playing with her engagement ring.
"Nice to meet you." Isabelle said walking over and bowing. Elsa bowed back. Isabelle seemed very nice and had dark hair and eyes with a sweet smile.
"Elsa this is my... wife." Eider said with pain in his voice.
"Your wife? She's really beautiful Eider..." Elsa said also trying to control her emotions.
"Thank you." Isabelle said.
"This is Anna, my sister." Elsa introduced me.
"Hello." I said awkwardly eyeing Eider.
"Excuse Elsa and I, Isabelle. We need to have a discussion of royal trade matters." Eider said.
"Of course." Isabelle said kissing Eider, Elsa flinched slightly but followed him into another room.
"Anyone up for tea?" Caleb asked after a few moments of silence.
"I'd love some." I said.
*Elsa Pov*
I followed Eider into another room, he closed the doors and hugged me tightly, tears in his eyes.
"You were dead." He whispered.
"Now I'm not." I said with sadness.
"I was so lonely and heart broken. Princess Isabelle was at a ball my brother had thrown to cheer me up. I didn't mean for it to happen but it happened. I fell in love with her and she fell in love with me. It's only been a couple of months. We got married last month." He explained rubbing my shoulders gently.
"I understand Eider, I was dead." I said.
"Yes you were. I feel so awful Elsa. I still love you." He said rubbing our engagement ring. "Just not like that." Tears streamed down his face. "I was so messed up when you were gone. I needed someone to fill my heart. Isabelle did that, you are so alike."
"Eider stop." I said grabbing his hands. "It's ok." I can't blame you to stay single forever. It still hurts, hurts extremely. I can't expect you to want me after I was dead."
"I still love you." He said looking down. "But she makes my nightmares disappear, she kisses me ever so softly and loves me for my flaws, much like you did. She was there you weren't."
"I still love you too." I said pecking him on the lips. He always described my kisses as an icy pillow but I didn't feel that love we once had. "I love you so I'm letting you go." I said slipping off the engagement ring and handing it to him. He closed his fist around it and shook it slightly, he sighed.
"Thank you for understanding."
"I will always understand when it comes to you. I will always be here, don't forget me." I replied.
"Never, old friend." He smiled, hugging me again. We walked out together and joined our families in the dinning hall. They were having tea, Joy was asking Anna about baby Joseff, her stomach swollen with child and Caleb and her daughter Amandala was running around. Isabelle got up and walked over to Eider and I.
"Everything alright with the trade matters?" She asked with a chuckle.
"Everything is the way it should be." Eider replied kissing her cheek.
"Everything's perfect." I said.
"Good I'm glad." She said leading me to a seat next to Anna. Anna smiled at me and her eyes darted to Eider and Isabelle.
"Everything's fine Anna. We resolved it." I whispered.
"Are you ok?" She asked, worry on her face.
"Surprisingly, yes." I replied.
"I'm glad." Anna said hugging me.
"Me too." I said hugging her back.
"Besides, Thomas Grant is handsome and he has a huge crush on you." She whispered in my ear.
"Anna." I groaned.
"It's true, I saw the way he looked at you."
"I just met him."
"His grandfather told him stories about you. I fell in love with story people when I was younger." She argued. I sighed.
"I did too." I confessed. She laughed and sat down pouring me a cup of tea and handing me a chocolate cookie.
"Chocolate makes everything better." She said, gesturing to the cookie. I took a bite and nodded.
"Yes it does." I replied and we both joined in to the conversations at the table.
