Chapter 20: Missing piece
Kristoff's Prov
Everyone hasn't been the same since we found out Amber will be unconscious for 2 days. When we got home from the Trolls Elsa went straight upstairs and put Amber in her bed and stayed there the night, Stain tried to get her to eat something but she just wouldn't! I'm worried about Anna too she hasn't really talked to me since last night when we got home she just went straight to bed? That was not like Anna to miss dinner. Something is going on and I'm determined to find out what!
I woke up late that morning as we all had a late night I had my arm around Anna, she was still asleep, which was good as she was up for most of the night last night. I slipped out of bed and went to check on Amber to see if there was any changes.
I walked into Amber's room to see her still unconscious (or asleep it was hard to tell) in her bed but lying next to her holding her close was Elsa and then in a chair by the side of Elsa was Stain fast asleep. Elsa and Stain had a meeting to attend about James at 12 so I though it would be best to wake them both up. I made my way to Stain in the chair. "Stain! Stain mate wake up." I said shaking him.
"Huh? What? I'm up I'm up." He yawned "What are you doing?" He asked rubbing his eyes.
"Well I was coming to check on Amber and then I saw you both asleep in here and you both have that meeting at 12 so I though I would wake both of you but to get to her I had to get past you!" I explained.
"Oh" he said "I knew that." Stain began to yawn, he got up and walked over to Elsa, stroking her head and softly speaking to her till she began to wake up.
"Morning!" She smiled to Stain. "Oh Kristoff sorry I didn't see you there!" She said turning to me.
"Sorry I just came to wake you as its 10 and you have the meeting at 12 also I wanted to see how Amber was doing."
"No change! But like Grand Pabbie said it will take 2 days at least for her to wake up!" She looked down at Amber and started to cry a little "I don't think I can go through with this. Not today at least I can't leave her alone! What if she wakes up and I'm not here?"
"Elsa everything is fine while you and Stain are in the meeting I will stay in here and if she wakes up I will send for you! I promise!" I smiled at her.
She jumped up and hugged me "Thank you Kristoff!"
"My pleasure! Now both of you go get ready." I ordered. They both quickly gave Amber a kiss on the head then left her room I sat down in the chair that Stain was sitting in and just looked across at her lying there.
Gerda came in after a while "Kristoff you haven't been down to breakfast would you like me to bring you something?"
"No thank you Gerda." She began to walk out "Wait!" I said
"Yes Kristoff?"
"Is Anna awake? If she is can you tell her where I am?" I am worried that if she's not awake then has something happened.
"She's awake. Elsa has told her where you are and she said she will be here soon she just has to do something first. Also Tristan said he would be by later to see how Amber is doing." I thanked Gerda and she left.
I got up and walked over to the bookshelf all of them looked like they had been read and none of them had dust on them so I assume that Amber had read them? I picked up one that looked interesting and sat back down in the chair as I opened the book. It was about old myths and things like that I flipped through the book when I came across a page titled 'The Blue Moon' I had heard of that title somewhere but I can't remember where! I began to read it:
The Blue Moon happens every 10 years. During the Blue Moon most just celebrate it however some witches and wizards use this to combine the powers of 4 people. The 4 people must include someone with fire, flower, sunlight and water if one is not present during this process then it shan't work! However if all 4 humans are present then the witch/wizard conducting the spell will receive all the powers in one and become one of the most powerful people!
You would think the people with the powers in the first place would not agree to letting the witch/wizard have their powers but they see it as becoming free of any worries and become normal. Others fight to never let them take away their powers but often lose.
"What you reading?" I jumped and turned around. Behind me Anna was in stitches "you... should... have... seen... your... FACE!" She said taking deep breaths to calm herself down.
"Anna you almost gave me a heart attack!" I said whipping my forehead. I was so into the book I guess I didn't hear the door open or anyone come in.
"Oh I'm sorry!" She said with a pouty face "I'm a bad wife aren't I?" She said grabbing my cheeks and squeezing them.
"The worst!" I laughed. "And I'm the worst husband ever! Which make us perfect!" As I said this she let go of my cheeks and stopped laughing. "Trust me we are far from perfect" she sighed.
"Anna? Are you ok?"
"I'm fine don't worry. How's Amber been?" She said changing the subject.
"No different then last night!" I looked over at Amber lying on the bed Anna sat next to Amber and just thought.
"Kristoff I need to tell you something." She looked over at me with worried eyes.
"I'm all ears!" I said moving onto the bed next to her.
"Well..." Just then there was a knock on the door. "Come in." Anna called.
Tristan's Prov
I am so worried about Amber I heard what happened and told my Aunt I am going to go see her right after I have finished my chores. I stood outside Amber's door for a few minutes worrying what I would say to who ever was in there, I finally bucked up the courage to knock.
"Come in!" Someone called sharply.
I poked my head around the door I looked over and saw Anna on the bed next to Amber and Kristoff on the chair "I'm sorry is this a bad time?" I asked.
Anna sighed "No not at all come in Tristan."
"Are you sure? I can come back later?" I hesitated.
"Don't be stupid. Come in." Kristoff gestured me over.
"I heard what happened! I'm sorry that you got hit as well Anna."
"Oh don't worry I'm fine Grand Pabbie healed me." She then stopped and looked at me "You don't know who Grand Pabbie is do you?" I have heard of him before but where? Ah Amber has mentioned him!
"I do indeed Amber has mentioned him quite a few times! He is the leader of the Trolls up the North Mountain and helped raise you Kristoff." I nodded after I had finished.
"Oh I guess you do then." Anna said "Well anyway he healed me and helped Amber!" She continued as she got up off Amber's bed and made her way over to where Kristoff was sitting. She bent down and whispered something in his ear, I couldn't hear what she said, he just nodded after she had finished.
"Tristan me and Anna are going to leave you here with Amber. We guess you need some privacy." He said.
"If you don't mind" I said hesitantly "I don't have to if you don't want me to though! Don't feel like you have to do this."
"Oh no we feel you need some alone time!" Anna smiled to me "If Kristoff was hurt I certainly would want some alone time with him." She said.
"Just promise us if anything happens like she wakes up please send for us!" Kristoff said looking worried.
"Of course!" With that they said they would be back in 20 minutes and left.
I made my way to Amber's bed and laid next to her she was right in the centre of the bed. I stayed next to her for a minute and then began to talk to her.
"Oh Amber you have everyone so worried! Especially your Mother! Why would you test that man no matter who he is it was stupid of you to think you could take him on! You always did like being the centre of attention didn't you" I laughed to myself "Like when it was your birthday ball and in town with all the other children! But it's one of the things I admire about you! How confident you are and how determined you are! Please come out if this soon it's like I'm missing my other half! I just wish you would wake up." I began to cry. I turned on myside to face her, I grabbed her and hugged her whether she could feel me hugging her or if she heard all of that I don't care it made me feel better so I continued to hug her.
I pulled myself together before Elsa, Anna, Kristoff or Stain walked in and though I was a cry baby.
I sat up, stared at Amber and began to gently stroke her long silky blonde hair. I softly sung a song that me and my sister made up when we was little:
I'm your best friend, Your my best friend, We stick together through thick and thin! No matter what I do, I'm always stuck with you! And if trouble comes our way, I know my best friend will save the day! Wherever you may be, Your always stuck with me! When your feeling sad and blue, Call my name and I'll find you! We have our bond that's tried and true! You and me! Me and you! Two by two!
When my sister us to be upset or scared I would sing it to her well seeing as my sister isn't here anymore I usually sing it when I am sad which I am so what a better time to sing it and what a better person to sing it to.
Anna's Prov
I was about to tell Kristoff I was pregnant but then Tristan walked in so I guess I couldn't but we finally got out of Amber's room and I wanted to stay close just incase something happened so I decided to go to my old room.
"Where are we going?"
"Somewhere close to Amber's room but where we can be alone." I stayed we turned the corner and was nearly at my old room.
"Anna? Kristoff?" We turned around to see Elsa and Stain standing at the other end of the corridor.
"What are you to doing? Your meant to be with Amber! Kristoff you promised!" Elsa began to raise her voice.
"Elsa don't take it out on him it was my idea to leave Tristan alone with Amber for a while! He looked like he needed sometime alone with her!" I explained.
"So Amber's not alone." Stain asked Kristoff nodded "Well I don't think we have anything to worry about." He turned to Elsa.
"I guess not but you two still shouldn't have left him alone with her!" She scowled.
I just wanted this conversation to be over so I could tell Kristoff that I was having his child. "Well then I guess me and Kristoff will be going!" I said grabbing his arm and turning.
"Wow Anna why are you in such a hurry?" Stain asked.
"I... I... Oh it's nothing" I sighed.
"Anna what's wrong?" Elsa asked.
"I said it was nothing!" I snapped back.
"For god sake Anna what's wrong with you lately?" Elsa began to raise her voice again.
"I'm fine! Everything is fine!" I said sarcastically.
"Anna I want to truth NOW!" She shouted. I don't like fighting with Elsa let alone fighting with her in front of Kristoff and Stain.
"You all want the truth?!" I screamed they all nodded to me.
"I'M PREGNANT!" I screamed without knowing what I was doing then slapped my hands over my big mouth. I was meant to tell Kristoff first so we could tell the others together but Elsa was being stubborn so I had lost it.
"Your pregnant?" Kristoff mumbled.
"Yes and I'm sorry I didn't tell you I just wanted to wait for the right time that's why we was going somewhere private so I could tell you." I explained to him. Elsa and Stains eyes looked like they where about to pop out their heads! Next thing I knew Kristoff had fainted.
"This is exactly why I wanted to tell him whilst he was sitting!" I moaned.
Elsa and Stain where still frozen to shook them both till they blinked again.
"Oh Anna I'm going to be a Auntie! Congratulations!" Elsa grabbed me and hugged me tight.
"Thanks Elsa I was scared to tell you I'm sorry."
"No I'm sorry I stresses you out and that's not good for the baby."
"You weren't to know." I turned to Stain.
"Congratulations Anna" he said hugging me.
"Thank you!" I said looking down "can you go get the guards to take my husband to our room please!" I giggled looking at him on the floor.
1 hour later...
I was in the bathroom sorting out my hair when I heard groaning from in my room. I swiftly walked in and sat down in the chair next to his side of the bed. "You wake then?" I laughed.
He groaned again "It's not funny!" He moaned.
"Well it's not my fault you fainted! What's the last thing you remember?"
"You shouting that you where pregnant." He said sitting up rubbing his head.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you right away I just didn't want to tell you when we had such a depressing night and with the whole Amber thing I seriously didn't know what to do! I'm so sorry Kristoff!"
"Hey hey hey! It's fine! When did you find out?"
"Grand Pabbie told me." I admitted.
"Oh! So that's why you acted funny last night." After he said this it went silent for a while.
"You don't want the baby do you?" I said with out thinking.
He looked shocked "What! Anna what ever gave you that idea"
"Well you don't seem very happy and you did faint when I told you!" He stood up and took my hand then bent down to my level.
"Anna there is nothing I want more then to have this baby with you! I am going to love him or her and you no matter what! I love the baby already even though I haven't met it yet! I know we are got to be the best little family and with Elsa and Stain helping what on earth could go wrong!" He smiled.
He leaned forward and kissed my stomach and then lifted himself up a bit and kissed me. "I love you Kristoff Bjorgman! I know you are going to make the best dad ever!"
"I love you most Anna Bjorgman and I know you are going to be the most amazing mum ever!" We kissed and then made our way to Amber's room. When we got outside we heard laughing, we looked at each other in a confused way.
"Maybe Amber has woken up?" He suggested.
"Maybe?" I shrugged and opened the door to see Stain, Elsa and Tristan sitting around laughing.
"Oh hi Anna and Kristoff! How's your head?" Elsa asked.
"It's fine thank you. What's going on?" He asked slowly.
"We was just talking about the past!" Tristan said.
"Oh ok." I said walking over to sit on the floor.
"Wait Anna sit in this chair let me sit on the floor." Stain said walking over to me and grabbing my arm.
"No its fine Stain!" I argued.
"No you go sit in this chair now! It will be better for the baby then sitting down on the floor!" Elsa butted in.
"Your pregnant?" Tristan asked, I turned and glared at Elsa who just gave an uneasy smile and shrugged.
"Yes I am but you must promise not to tell anyone Tristan! I want Amber to know before the staff and the kingdom!" I begged.
"I will only promise if you sit in that seat!"
"Ok ok, god your almost as bossy as Elsa!" I laughed.
"HEY! That was uncalled for!" She moaned.
"You did deserve it though!" I said sitting down in the chair.
"I guess!" She moaned.
"Anna Elsa is only looking after you and our baby!" He smiled at me and sat next to me on the floor holding my hand.
"I know" I said smiling at him "let's just get through tonight as a family and then tomorrow hopefully Amber will awaken!" As I said this Tristan got up off the floor and made his way to the door.
"Tristan what are you doing?" Elsa asked.
"I though you guys would want to spend tonight just as a family?" He said opening the door.
"But you are family" I smiled.
He turned and looked around the room from me to Stain all of them where nodding in agreement he smiled and sat back down. We where talking and laughing for what seemed hours next thing I knew everyone was asleep but me! It had been a long day so I guess everyone was pretty tired anyway! It was nice though getting to know about Tristan and Stains past a bit more, I could hear Kristoff and Stain snoring which seemed louder then normal I looked over at them and realised Tristan had judged the snoring club! Great! I chucked to myself and placed my hands on my stomach. I began to hum a little then fell asleep.
Sorry I haven't posted in a while been a but busy studying as I have exams coming up! Boring much! Anyway tell me what you think of this! :)
