Chapter 21:Gone

Elsa's Prov

We all stayed up talking last night and Tristan fell asleep on the floor. He didn't look very comfortable so Stain moved him onto the bed next to Amber.

Soon after Tristan fell asleep he was followed by Kristoff and Stain.

"Well they seemed tired!" Anna yawned.

"Yeah I guess."

"So how did the meeting about James go?" She asked.

"Oh Anna it was so long! When everyone was listening to the head of the council talk me and Stain just whispered to each other and joked! They feel that he should be realised and banished from Arendelle! I feel he should be left in the dungeons to rot, the council didn't approve." I groaned.

"Realised! Realised?! Do they know what he done to me and Amber?!" Anna said throwing the arms about.

"That's what I mean they apparently do know what happened!"

"Then why would they want him realised!? This is why I hate the council!"

"Maybe I should ask Aunt Lillian and Uncle Alfonso! The council will listen to them!" I suggested

"I guess it's worth a try! Anyway let's change onto a nicer subject!"

"What did you have in mind?"

"You and Stain!"

"What about us?" I said not trying to sound to worried as I made my way over to the sofa we had moved in earlier that day.

"You know just has anything happened?"

"Meaning?" I smiled smugly.

"Do I really have to spell it out!?"

"Well you see as I'm the oldest I got the good looks and no brain at all but as the younger sibling you got all the brains! So I feel you need to explain!"

"Did you just call me smart!?" She asked as I nodded "oh thank y... Wait a minute stop trying to change the subject!" She scowled.

"Oh it was worth a try!" I grumbled "He has been feeling guilty about this whole thing! He really does care about Amber and me! He feels that if I would have him to stay, which I obviously would, that he had to get Amber's approval first! He's so thoughtful and kind!" I was going into a daze thinking about him.

"That is sweet! I guess he is staying then!" She laughed.

"Oh I really want him to stay and I love him but I don't know if it's true love though!" I admitted.

"I can help!"

"Go on?" I doubted.

"What's his last name?"

"Paterson?"

"Favourite food?"

"Chocolate!"

"Best friends name?"

"Elsa!" I said whilst we giggled.

"Eye colour?"

"Chocolate!"

"Chocolate? That's what I said Kristoff's is!" She said still giggling.

"And foot size?"

"Big!"

"There I think you know him to well you answered all them without hesitation!"

"I did didn't I!" I smiled "Thanks sis!" I said giving her a hug.

"Welcome."

We began to relax on the sofa whilest Anna began to hum a song Mama use to sing us to go to sleep. I was surprised she had remembered it but it had done the trick as soon after Anna fell asleep closely followed by me.

Birds where singing outside the window causing me to awaken from a nice sleep. I woke to the sound of Stain, Kristoff and Tristan snoring. Anna seemed to be humming a little in her sleep as well. I got up and walked over to open the window, it was the middle of September and yet it was still boiling, as soon as I done this some birds came flying in happily chirping.

"Shh. You will wake them!" I scowled "Now be gone! You shouldn't be in here! You should be flying free outside!" I pointed to the window. Instead of going out the birds landed on the head rest above Amber's head and talked to each other. They jumped off the headrest onto her pillow! "Get away from her!" I said in a angry seemed to be studying her face very hard. After they flew out the window.

Seeing as I was the only one up I went and got ready in my room. I put my hair in a scruffy bun and hopped in the bath. After I quickly put my hair in a pony tail and walked into my wardrobe. I looked around. Right nothing to flashy so stay away from the back! Something that will keep me cool but not revealing to much! And something Stain will like! Ah ha! This one is perfect! I picked up a cute red dress that flowed to my knees (keep me cool and not revealing to much) Stain's favourite colour is red as well so this should be good! I looked at myself in the mirror in my wardrobe and I reached above it and grabbed my diamond earrings mama had left me when she died. I also grabbed my red heeled shoes.

When I was done I took one last look at my reflection when I realised I hadn't put any makeup on. I rushed out to my room when someone shocked me "oh god!" I said putting my hand on my chest and falling back. "Oh Stain it's just you! I'm sorry I didn't here you come in!"

"Wow! You look" his chocolate brown eyes where looking me up and down.

"To much? Oh no I look bad!" I said going red like the dress.

"No! Not at all you look perfect!" He began to stare at my face. "I love you freckles!" He stroked my cheek.

"My freckles?" I don't have any makeup on! I covered my face. "Oh no I don't have any make up on! Don't look at my freckles I hate them!"

"Elsa you don't need make up! You are far to beautiful as it is and also I love your freckles I think they are gorgeous! Please just for today don't put any make up on." He asked whilst doing puppy dog eyes!

"Really Stain? Puppy dog eyes!?" I wanted to look away but I couldn't he was melting my insides "Fine! But only today! I don't want my kingdom to see my with no make-up so only today!" I stated.

He pulled me in close his strong arm around my waist our lips where inches away from each other's I leaned in closing the gap. His soft lips where so nice against mine just as we started to kiss I felt his hand move up to my neck and keep my close. After a while we broke off out of breath but I felt really happy.

"I hate leaving you my queen but I must leave to get ready." He pouted.

"So soon?" I moaned.

"Yes but I promise I will be back in a minute." He said walking to the door.

"Forgetting something?" I teased pointing to my cheek.

"Nothing that comes to mind!" I walked a little closer.

"Are you sure?" I grinned.

"How could I!" He said kissing me with his warm lips on my cheek. He walked out the door with that. I sighed and landed on my bed and looked up at the ceiling, when the door opened. "And my feet aren't big!" Stain said I supported myself on my elbows to see his head poking around the door.

"Really you heard all that!" I asked biting my lip.

"Yep!" He laughed "oh and my best friend is you." He winked then left I just fell back on my back and laughed.

I walked back to Amber's room to wake the others. "Oh your all ready?" I said confused.

"Yes! Stain woke us up" Kristoff said.

"Shall we go for breakfast?" Tristan suggested.

I look over at Amber lying there "I don't know." I said.

"Elsa we have to eat she will be fine for 10 minutes I promise" Anna smiled.

I nodded as we walked to the dining room. I opened the door and walked in I almost bumped into Rosaline. "Oh I'm sorry your highness! I was just bringing you your breakfast! I will have the table layed in no time!" She said nervously.

"Rosaline don't worry I'm fine and don't rush to lay the table we can wait." I said.

Tristan helped pick up the cutlery he had dropped and placed them on the tray.

"Els do we normally have a blue moon festival?" Kristoff asked out of the blue.

"Yes but it's not till next May! Why do you ask?" I asked comserned. Just then Stain matched in and took his seat with us.

"Stain is everything ok?" Anna asked.

"Of course." He smiled. Lies I turned back to Kristoff

"I was just wondering." He looked over my shoulder to Stain "After breakfast I need to talk to you." He seemed serious

"Yeah okay.." I looked over at him, he just shrugged.

Not giving it another though we just sat down and are our breakfast in silence. Poor Tristan had been putting up with our weird family but no difference he stuck with us I do feel sorry for him I'm sure he isn't use to this much drama. Taking me away from my thoughts I'm sure I heard a faint call I looked around confused we where all there apart from Olaf who had gone into town with Sven so no one else was left.

"What's wrong Elsa?" Tristan asked seeing that I was looking confused.

"Oh nothing I'm just sure I heard someone call me?"

"I didn hear anything?" Anna said.

"It's probably just me." I went back to eating.

"Mama" there it was again.

I pushed my chair back and walked out the dining room, up the stairs to Amber's room.

I definatly heard someone say mama I'm not going mad! I walked in at looked at her bed!

I screamed.

"Elsa what is it!" Stain said running up to me, I grabbed his hand with my trembling one and pointed to Amber's bed. "Oh no." He whispered. I let out a loud sob I broke down in his arms. Anna walked to us in shock followed by Kristoff. Before we went down for breakfast I closed her window and her balcony doors I know I did but now the balcony doors where open and Amber was gone!

"She's been taken!" I said still sobbing "I knew we shouldn't have left her!" I said still sobbing in Stain's arms. She was gone my precious flower is gone!
