Chapter 24,Stories

William looked up from the conversation as he was roasting his smore. Flash back from season 2 anyone?

"Hey! Why don't we tell scary stories?!" America had said. Arthur and William exchanged glances and Will had a creepy smile on his face.

"Very well," said William quickly eating and swallowing the smore, "I'll tell one".

He breathed in, remembering the story as the crowd grew quiet in waiting.

"In a town in the woods at the top of a hill.
There's a house where no one lives.
So you take a big bag of your big city money there and buy it.
But at night when the house is dark .
And you're all alone, there's a noise upstairs.
At the top of the stairs there's a door and you take a deep breath and try it," he breathed in and continued adding tune to the tale.

"And the flashlight shows you something moving just inside the door.
There's a tattered dress and a feeling you have felt somewhere before," once again he breathed.

"And there's a creepy doll.
That always follows you.
It's got a ruined eye.
That's always open," once again, repeat, not adding the electric guitar part from the original song/tale.

"And there's a creepy doll.
That always follows you.
It's got a pretty mouth.
To swallow you whole," He repeated the process, except this time he used his magic to bend the shadows to his will. Nearly making the countries jump in surprise as the shape of a demented doll appeared next to him.

"So you scream and you close the door.
And you tell yourself it was just a dream.
In the morning you head into town cause you want to go antiquing.
In the store there's a strange old man.
With a wandering eye and a withered hand.
When he hands you the old wooden box you can hear his old bones creaking," he smiled as he made the shadows cover the campfire, nearly getting America to pee his trousers.

"And you know what you will find inside the moment that you see.
That someone's carved your name into the tarnished silver key".

"And there's a creepy doll.
That always follows you.
It's got a ruined eye.
That's always open".

"And there's a creepy doll.
That always follows you.
It's got a pretty mouth.
To swallow you whole".

"When you come home late the doll is waiting up for you.
And when you fix a snack the doll says it would like one too.
The doll is in your house and in your room and in your bed.
The doll is in your eyes and in your arms and in your head and you are crazy".

"Now it's late and you head downstairs.
Cause you just can't sleep so you make some tea.
And the doll disapprovingly asks if you really need that much honey.
You decide that you've had enough.
And you lock the doll in the wooden box.
You put the box in the fireplace next to your bag of big city money".

"As the smoke fills up your tiny room there's nothing you can do.
Far too late you see the one inside the box is you," he ended it as he had made the camp look like it was on fire, and making it smog.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" and that, is what he was waiting for. Will clapped his hands and clutched his stomach as he fell back on the log he was sitting on, laughing as most of the nations let out an undignified squawk. Aki and Trick laughed with him as England simply smiled amusingly. Prussia was laughing too, since he already heard this story before. The clap made the illusion disappear, so the nations looked around, trying to find out exactly what happened.

"What the hell was that?!" whimpered America.

"It's a song called 'Creepy Doll' by Jonathan Coulton, you said scary so I gave you scary," said Will a bit too proudly.

Aki laughed, "What? Would you like to hear a shorter one?"

Russia nodded, and Aki nodded back and complied.

"There was a crooked man and he walked a crooked mile, he found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile. He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse, and they all lived together in a little crooked house".

England and London smiled at each other and made a figure behind the nations, using magic of course, this was going to be good.

"He met a crooked woman and he found a crooked preach, they had a crooked marriage on a crooked little beach. They had some crooked children and they lived a crooked life, the crooked man, the cat, the mouse, the children, and the wife".

The figure behind the nations became more formed as a man with his neck stretched and bended to the right. His eyes were gorged, and blood was covering his lips as his pale face was pulled into a smile, black hair falling down.

"They, were happy for a number of crookedly long years, lived a life of crooked happiness, no worries and no fears. Until one day the crooked wife upset the crooked man, he yelled a crooked yell and then he hit her and he ran".

The figure behind the nations began to move slowly toward them, which wouldn't have mattered as they were paying to much attention to Aki.

"The crooked man came again at the stroke of twelve, that was when their crooked life became a living hell. There was a crooked man and he walked a crooked mile, and when he killed his wife and kids he smiled a crooked smile". He looked behind them and shouted to get there attention toward the thing, since he was the one who planned the whole thing. Trick was behind him, with a camera.

It let out a inhuman laugh as it started to walked crookedly toward them, a loud screech resonated from all the nations; except Prussia, he was to busy getting the image of West imprinted in both his phone and his brain.

Several flashes and laughs came from Aki, Trick, William and Arthur as they made the crooked man chase him around. With a snap of his fingers, Arthur made the creature sit the running countries down. Though Romano and Italy were the hardest ones to catch, still it was hilarious.

"DUDE! STOP MESSING WITH US MAN!" whimpered America, again. China agreed with him,

"Yeah! Stop being jerks aru!"

Japan was busy writing what they had said down, this might make for a good horror game, Russia was clenching his pipe...where ever he got that thing from. Italy and Romano were still whimpering from being held down by the 3d version of the crooked man. France just stayed silent, silently pitting the crooked man. Germany just held a gun; wherever the hell he got that thing from.

Arthur just sighed, "Alright, then let me tell you a tale of someone I knew along time ago".

America shut his trap after that, since Arthur was least likely to make a prank to get them.

"In a land vast of green and gold, there once were two best friends. Those two had grew up with each other and fought together, come came war and those two had survived together. One of them had a fiance he loved very much. Little did he know that the other had loved her as well, and she felt the same. The other, not wanting to hurt him; kept their love a secret. One day, the other found out; and became angry. When they were alone in a secret mission interested to them by their general, he finally confronted his best friend. The other admitted it, but he didn't want his best friend to get hurt. The other didn't listen and proceeded to challenge him to a duel. One tried to get his friend to calm down, but not until the enemy soldiers came and tried to kill them both. In the midst the other forced his friend to go, leaving him in enemy hands".

"Um, what kind of story was that?" asked America.

"That," said William sadly, "Is the story of the headless horseman, the friend left in enemy hands, is the headless horseman".

A/n: Welp, here you go, sorry it's late, but there. I own nothing but myself (Aki), the plot and Will. Trick owns herself. The story after the doll one was the crooked man poem, and I had to because I was watching Pewdiepie and chaoticmonki doing the playthrough. (brofist to those who watch those awesome duo) AND THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING ME REACH 100 REVIEWS! Welp, good day/night!
