Rewritten Chapter 1
The Final Art of a Dragon slayer
[February Year X782]
It was an early morning at Fairy Tail and the guild is a bit quieter as Natsu and Lisanna are out hanging out at the park.
"Hey Mira," Makarov says as he looks up from his alcoholic drink with a serious look.
"What do you want Guild Master?" Mirajane asked as she was looking for a quest to do with her siblings while annoyed that Master bothered her.
"There's an S Class emergency quest. I need you to do" Makarov says as he handed the quest mission paper. He hopes this will make her less annoyed with him
Mirajane looked and read the mission then looked at The Guild Master "So You want me to take down a beast that is near a town, that's easy come on Elfman we got to get Lisanna and do this quest."
"Yes, Sis," Elfman says as he followed her out of the Guild with fear as he doesn't like the look on her face.
"Something doesn't feel right today, I swear," Makarov says as he watches them leave then went back to drinking his drink and hoping this feeling goes away.
[At The Park]
"Man, it's a beautiful day to relax and take a nap," Natsu says as he sits under the tree as he enjoys the day.
"Come on, Natsu I know you never stay still during the day unless Erza beats you up," Lisanna says as she looked at her childhood friend.
"One day, I will beat Erza and show her never to mess with me," Natsu says as he stretches his right arm out and punches the air.
Then Natsu smelt Elfman and Mirajane coming. Which he says nothing and wonders If they are here for Lisanna to do a quest.
"Come on, Lisanna We have a job to do," Elfman says as he walks with Mirajane.
"What, we just finish a D Class Job this morning can't we have a bit of a break," Lisanna asked as she looked at Elfman as she wanted to have a break and hang out with Natsu.
"Yea but this is an S-class Quest and Mirajane wants us to go along with her and help her with it," Elfman says with a smile and worried as it will be his first time doing an S Class.
"No, way that totally unfair" Natsu says as he looks at Elfman. He feels like they get to do crazy things while he only gets to do boring stuff.
"What kind of Job is it?" Lisanna asked as she looked at Elfman and Mirajane.
"It's an emergency quest that just came in. They want us to kill a monster they called The Beast." Mirajane said with a smile then she looked "Hey you wanna come with us Natsu? You might learn a thing or two" Mirajane says as she winked at him.
"Two what! I don't want him to tag along. I'm the man in the Family and I can protect you guys on my own." Elfman says in his man pride to his big sister.
"OH! Why do you hog on all the fun take me with you" Natsu says as he stomps on the ground like a little kid.
"Sorry Natsu, but it seems like Elfman doesn't want you to tag along," Lisanna says as she looked at Natsu with a sad smile.
"Well let's go then," Mirajane says as she begins to leave the park to go to the train station to take a train to get to the village.
"See you later Natsu" Lisanna says as the waves at Natsu and begins to walk with Elfman to catch up with her big sister.
Natsu looked at them leave and he felt something bad was going to happen. He doesn't know why but he will follow them in secret and hope he doesn't get caught while cursing the fact that he will have to go on the dam train as he gets motion sickness on any moving vehicles due to his Dragon slayer Magic.
[A few hours later]
When Strauss's siblings arrive at the burning town with Natsu still following them around in secret.
"Oh my God," Lisanna says as she looks at the burning Buildings and people running around.
"Lisa, I want you to help people evacuate out of the town, and Elfman you're with me" Mirajane orders as she begins to go look for The Beast.
"Yes, Sis," Both Elfman and Lisanna say at the same time.
'I might as well help take out the fire when they aren't looking' Natsu then begins to run to some buildings that were severely burnt, and he begins to suck in the fire well more like eating it.
[An hour later]
Elfman and Mirajane fought The Beast, and it was a hard fight, but they manage to win.
"Let's go and tell the mayor Elfman" Mirajane says as she is exhausted from the fight.
But Elfman didn't reply as he began to walk toward the beast he then performs Take Over magic and he becomes the beast then Mirajane turns around and saw her brother try to do a takeover over the beast and lost control. The Beast then swings his hand sending Mirajane back and injuring her.
"Elfman!" Mirajane Shouted as she holds her broken arm as The Beast roared and begins to march toward her "Elfman pulls yourself together!" She shouted.
"Mira" Lisanna says as she flew to Mirajane while in a form of a green bird then when she landed, she turns back into a human. "I have everyone evacuate; Now let me help you," she says as she looked at The Beast.
"You have to run Lisanna, it's dangerous. It beat me up pretty bad and Elfman tries to take over it" Mirajane says as she begins to curse herself as she was supposed to be the strong one here.
"Oh my Gosh. That's him?" Lisanna says as she watches the beast march toward them.
"I don't know why he did it, but he isn't in control at all right now," Mirajane says to Lisanna then Lisa helps her up and has Mira's arm over her shoulder.
"Oh no what are we going to do, how are we going to save him?" Lisanna says with worry for her brother.
"We have to beat him into coming to senses before he loses himself to the beast," Mirajane says as The Beast stands in front of them then Lisa begins to walk to him and Mira gets back on her knees "What are you doing? Come back here!" Mira shouted to Lisa, but Lisa kept going.
"Big brother Elf. Are you doing okay" She asked as she look at the beast "It's me Lisanna your little sister. Our big Sister Mira is here too" She says as she stares at him then she smiles "We are a family and when times are tough, we pull together and work things outareareSo why not go home and talk about what happened today? I promise we are not mad at you." Lisanna says as The Beast Stared at her then It Roars loudly and raised his arm up and is ready to slam it down on Lisa. "Come on don't be afraid big brother, we still love you," Lisa says as she spread her arms open like waiting for a hug with a smile on her face then the beast swings his arm down. Mirajane screams for Lisanna.
Natsu who was watching saw what was about to happen ran and pushed Lisanna out of the way and got punched into the side of a cliff.
Lisanna landed right next to Mirajane and when she got back up halfway before she felt pain in her right ankle, she then looks for what has pushed her out of the way. "How?" was all she said before Mirajane hugged her.
"Lisanna, You idiot! Please never do something like that ever again" Mirajane says as she hugged Lisanna real tight without care for her own broken arm.
"Ouch," Natsu says Which brought Mirajane and Lisanna's attention. He begins to get out of a manmade hole in the cliffside.
"Natsu!" They both shouted as they stare at Natsu who was dusting off dirt that was on himself.
Natsu looked at Lisanna and he wasn't happy "Lisa, I knew how much you care for others, but don't you Dare do something like that." Natsu says with an angry voice which made Lisanna flinch. Natsu then looked at Elfman who was out of control in Beast form "As for you, I will just have to knock some sense until you wake up, Elfman" he says with a not happy face, but he knows someone is near and Natsu hates the smell of this person.
"I would not allow you to do that Mage of Fairy tail," says a man who just walked out of the bushes.
Natsu looks at him with hate the feeling he is getting from the man and all of his senses are screaming at him to run. But he must confirm one thing "Who the hell are you?!" Natsu asked.
"I am Darkskull and you little friend that uses Beast take over is under my mind-control," Darkskull says with an evil grin.
Natsu knew that name right away and so did Mirajane.

Natsu shouted "Mirajane Please take Lisanna and run. I will hold him back to the best of my abilities." as he kept an eye on Darkskull.
Darkskull laughs "You can't stop me, and I won't let any of you live," Darkskull says as he grins as he releases his magic pressure.
Natsu and the Strauss sisters felt it and it was beyond anything they ever felt.
Natsu look at Mirajane and Lisanna. He is worried for them since they are injured, and he thought 'They won't be able to go far before they both pass out and I am not strong enough to fight him without getting killed unless I use a forbidden form of Dragon slayer but If I do there will be consequences and to be honest, I am willing to do so to protect them' Natsu had a sad smile Which Mirajane noticed before Natsu looked away "Forgive me Igneel, For I have to use it"
Natsu closes his eyes and focus on his magic, and He shouted with All his heart as the forced his magic to do the unthinkable as it was a Taboo for his brand of lost magic "Forbidden Taboo Dragon king Long Lost Art: Over Synchronisation" then Pure hellish Red Flames burst out of him and once the Flame calms down Natsu has changed as his appearance change as his hair from spiky pink-colored hair turns and grown into red hair with bangs on the front, a middle split on the top and a ponytail on the back. His Black eyes change to red with a bit of orange at the bottom color eyes with a slit like a dragon and he became taller as now he is 6 foot tall. His arms are covered with scales and there are claws. Then two big red wings spread from his back as well.
"I will take you down with everything I got," Natsu says, and it sounds like 2 people speaking simultaneously, one human and a dragon voice.
Darkskull smiles as he loves a good fight before he beats them completely and he is looking forward to this fight. "Come and try to beat me, BOY!" he says with a sinister grin.
Mirajane and Lisanna watch with shock and horror at what happened to Natsu. Yes, they have heard of Forbidden Magic and Taboo Magic they also know the consequences of it.
Forbidden Magic – It's immensely Powerful Magic but very costly as the person can become really sick and have a sore body for weeks depending on the spell itself. Only a Few Magics out there that has a Forbidden spell but not many and nearly all Forbidden spells are lost with time.
Taboo Magic – It's a rule breaker since some magic has its own set of rules that must never be broken, known as a taboo. Different taboos that are broken have different effects on the user's body. One of them can lead to death or sickness or even the loss of their magic forever depending on what type of magic wizard uses and what spell they use and luckily most if not, all Taboo Magic are lost to time never to be seen ever again.
Natsu still feels like he is not strong enough as his senses are still screaming at him to run so he shouted, "Forbidden Taboo Dragon King Long Lost Art: Full Release Over Boost."
DarkSkull senses the boy's magic "His power and Magic are skyrocketing" Darkskull says with a hint of worry and decided to send a powerful attack "Forbidden Black Magic: Darkness Flare" he shouted as the attack was sent flying to Natsu.
"Dragon King Art: Magic Burn" Natsu shouted as the attack burns the black magic as he doesn't want for the fight to go any further as he worries for his guildmate's safety.
"The Final Forbidden Taboo Twilight Dragon King Long Lost Art: E.N.D" Natsu shouted as His Flames went black on his left hand and in his right is white flames and when he combines it became Silver Flames and he Shouted again "Twilight Flame" as his Fire was sent to Darkskull and he begins to burn for a second then he turns into ashes.
"Finally, He is dead," Natsu says as he flies up to the beast and just knocks him out.
The Beast transforms back into Elfman as he is knocked out.
Then Natsu's arm scale and claws disappeared, and his wings just went back into his back and the slit in his eye was gone. But his eyes color and hair are still the same for some reason.
Natsu then runs over to check on Mirajane and Lisanna only to find that they pass out from exhaustion and stress. "How dear, it seems like I have to carry them back," Natsu says with a tired voice as he can feel the effects of the Magic, he used but he resisted it for now and tries to carry 3 people to the train station.
[In Fairy tail guild]
"Where's Flame-Brain, I haven't seen him all day," Gray says as he looked around.
"I don't know Gray. He must have gone on a Job" Happy says then he looked at Gray "Gray I am hungry can I have some more fish" as he flies around Gray.
"I just feed you this morning. God how did I find you as an egg when I was a kid." Gray says as he looked at the cat.
[On the Train]
Natsu manages to carry them onto the train and once the train starts to move. Natsu felt like he was in a nightmare as one moment he felt motion sickness next moment he doesn't, and it kept repeating over and over again.
'I think I going to be sick because of this' Natsu thought as he tries to be strong.
[A few hours later at Fairy tail guild]
Everyone at the Guild was hanging around drinking like they do every day until they heard.
(Bang)
As The Door opened Natsu carried Elfman, Mirajane, and Lisanna. Natsu then placed them down on the floor. He then relaxes himself and he was ready to face the consequences from his magic as he closes his eyes and fell.
(Thud)
Natsu completely passes out.
Makarov who sees this shouts "Someone get Porlyusica!" as he turns into his giant form and carries Mirajane, Lisanna, Elfman, and Natsu to the infirmary.
Everyone thought as they look at the red hair guy that carried The Strauss Siblings before passing out 'Who the heck is he?!' they all thought not knowing it was Natsu.
"I will go get Porlyusica," Jet says as he ran out of the guild while not looking forward to being shouted at by Porlyusica.
[20 minutes later]
Porlyusica comes through the Guild door with a face of annoyance as she doesn't like humans as she walks into the infirmary
"What happened now?" Porlyusica says as she places down her bag and looks at The Strauss Siblings "One broken Arm" she says as she pointed at Mirajane "One with an injured ankle" she says as she pointed to Lisanna "One who seems to have lost control of his Magic" she pointed at Elfman. She then looks at Natsu and her eyes open wide Which got Makarovs attention. "What has this boy done to his Own Magic, it felt like his body is forced to change to adapt to handle more magic in his body, and his magic system is burnt as If he used a form of magic that he shouldn't have used," she says as she goes through her bag and First Aid box and start doing her job.
[10 minutes later]
Mirajane begins to wake up as she opens her eyes she shot up and looks around to see that she is in the guild infirmary and saw Makarov and Porlyusica but also sees her siblings still asleep then she turns to see Natsu asleep as well "Master?" she says.
"Good to see you awake, Child how are you feeling?" Makarov says as he hopes she was okay.
"Bad, The Job we did nearly killed us if it weren't for Natsu following us in secret," Mirajane says with a shaky voice with tears running down her eyes.
Makarov looked at her and he was really worried about her as he had never seen her like that in a long-time and he has only seen it once when he first found her and her siblings and did, she says Natsu? He better ask "Natsu was there? Where is he now?" he asks with worry.
Mirajane hand was trembling as she pointed at the red hair guy who was Natsu. "He's Natsu," she says.
Porlyusica narrowed her eyes as she knows what the Fairy tail dragon slayer mage looks like and this person looks nothing like him. "He looks nothing like that Dragon slayer," she says.
Makarov wanted to agree as well but he decided to ask what happened to clear things up. "What happened during the job?" Makarov asked,
Mirajane told them everything even their encounter with Darkskull. This made Makarov and Porlyusica flinch as they have heard of the mage and what he did was unspeakable and was bad if not worse than Zeref's deeds. Mirajane kept on explaining and they learned that Natsu not only did he use a forbidden form of his lost magic he even used a taboo form of his lost magic. It would make sense to use it as Darkskull was too dangerous even the Top 3 Wizard Saint would not go near him and here Natsu uses a dangerous form of magic to defeat him which makes sense but where did Natsu learn this as Makarov doubt Igneel would teach Natsu that brand of magic, but he wouldn't be surprised if he did teach Natsu that after all Natsu was always a mystery for him to understand.
"Rest for now, child I will be nearby," Makarov says as he leaves the infirmary.
Porlyusica stares at Natsu before leaving the infirmary as she wants to leave and go home as she isn't needed anymore.
[Natsu Mindscape]
Igneel looks at Natsu with sadness yet pride for Natsu but sadly he could no longer stay with Natsu as he used what's left of his magic to help Natsu out during Natsu's fight with Darkskull.
"Goodbye Natsu, I wish I could have spent more time with you but before I go. I want you to know that I am proud to call you my son and have a good life. Prince of all Dragons Natsu Dragneel The only son of the Dragon king Igneel" Igneel says as he vanished and is at peace but also with worry as Natsu Demon and Dragon Seed merged
[Back outside the Mindscape]
A tear was running down Natsu sleeping Face and he spoke "Goodbye Dad" before going back to unconsciousness.
Well, that's the end of this first chapter of the Natsu who rises above the Dragon Slayer. This is a rewritten version of chapter one as the Original 12-chapter was Deleted because I wasn't happy with it and a lot of the chapters were rushed. So, I decided to rewrite them but don't worry about things like Natsu looking like and dressing like Diluc from Genshin Impact and he will still act differently. Natsu is still also E.N.D. and he is no longer bound to his book which means If he killed Zeref. Natsu won't die but a lot of things will change and some things from the old chapter may stay the same.
