(Author's Note: I'm very sorry that I have not continued this story but things have gotten quiet confusing and busy. I have no desire to write this as it would be too jumbled and inconclusive. So I will have to give you a summary before continuing on to the next book in this fanfic series. )
Summary of the remaining chapters of "Worlds: Identity Thief" :
After being shot, Indie takes Serina to a nearby hospital and the doctor and Indie are amazed to discover that despite blood being present there was no wound and the bullet was caught in her shirt. Suddenly the soldiers that followed them came storming the small clinic and Indie disguised himself as Serina hid. Luckily she was not found and the two of them left the clinic to continue their search, Indie questioning the miracle of her missing wound. Serina could offer no explanation as she had to clues as to what caused the phenomenon. With the two of them lying low and investigating the clues they had to the whereabouts of the artifacts they discovered the location of the chamber where the nazi soldiers were planning on preforming the ceremony thinking perhaps they could prevent them from getting there even though they still had the idol in their possession. They had to travel to the Great Pyramid of Giza where they discovered the chamber in the depths a portion of the Nile ran through the chamber as an underground river of sorts. As they are trying to find a way to seal it off the soldiers arrive and capture them both, taking the idol from Serina's now tattered and dirty school bag. They attach it to the golden staff they found at the sphinx and looked up; a light was coming through from somewhere up above and waited for the prophecy to come true and for the soldiers of Isis to rise from the river there in the chamber. Serina waited for something to happen as it always did in the Indian Jones franchise but nothing did. Indie didn't seem to have anyway of stopping this. Serina had no way of knowing if she'd get back home so if this place ended up becoming her home she needed to do something to protect it. Using force to break free from the soldiers hold, Serina charged forward, tackling the head officer and took him and the staff into the river. In the distraction Indie took out the 4 soldiers still there and ran to the river and looked in, not seeing any sign of Serina or the general. He turned to his side and saw the idol lying there with the gen broken off. He tossed it into the river, as a memorial to the young adventurer who he now thought had drowned. Serina tumbles through the currents wishing to escape to somewhere she could be away from this somewhere peaceful. Next thing she knows Serina can breathe again and she is falling the darkness. She assumes she is going to be taken back to the museum where she disappeared from, but instead she finds herself falling from the sky and into the river at Devon Academy where a certain blonde student was watching.
The story continues in the next book, "Worlds: Saving Peace"
