"Primatech"

-GABRIEL AND CLAIRE-

"Are you sure you're OK? You seem like you're in a lot of pain." Claire asked, hopping down from her table slab as Gabriel sat down on his.

"I'm fine." he lied, faking a smile, "besides, you couldn't be much help behind two layers of bulletproof glass."

"Oh trust me, there's ways." She replied with a knowing grin.

Gabriel winced, furrowing his brow, "What do you mean?"

Claire approached the thick glass, putting her palm on its cold surface, "If you apply enough force, you can break through. I had to do that when you—uh, this one time. Probably wouldn't work out so well now. Too much security and no abilities."

Another loud bang came from the end of the hall. Claire strained her neck to see who it was,

"What now?" Gabriel asked, clutching at his bruised mid section. Claire shook her head, communicating that she couldn't tell. Footsteps became audible as the figure grew closer; in fact, there were two sets.

" Let go of me Bennett! You son-of-a-bitch!"

Gabriel froze. He knew that voice. Claire glanced at him, raising a brow. Finally, Noah came into view with his tight grip around the woman's arm. Elle was restrained with zip ties. Clearly she had been quite fussy. Noah took a quick peek at Claire. She just turned her head, avoiding him.

" Well… isn't this lovely?" Noah smiled sarcastically. Gabriel sat, tense, and mortified. He stared at Elle, mouth slightly agape. Elle stared back, feeling a mix of hatred and fear boil inside of her.

"What the hell is this about Noah?" Elle gritted her teeth, trying to blink tears out of her eyes. Noah, punched a code into Gabriel's door. It opened slowly. Elle pushed away from him, but couldn't get out of his hold on her arm. "No, no, no, no, no, please! Don't do this to me!" She begged, burying herself into Noah as she started to cry. He shoved her through the door. He then slammed it before she could try to escape. Elle leaped to the glass, pounding on it with her bound fists. Claire watched silently from her cell, a scowl painted on her face.

"Meet your new roommate Elle. I hope there won't be any trouble in here between the two of you."

Elle continued to weakly slam the glass, sobbing loudly. "You son-of-a-bitch… why?! Oh, god!"

Bennett smiled, "So Sylar, what do you think of this little arrangement?"

"What's your endgame, Noah?" Gabriel looked at Elle, shaking his head, "What is this?" He turned back to Bennett, clenching his jaw.

"Let me get this straight, you two aren't bed buddies anymore? Why's that?" Noah asked, pretending to rack his brain, "Oh, could it be because you cut her head open then set her dead body on fire? Yeah that's probably it huh?" Gabriel watched Elle's back solemnly. Her pale frame shaking, her blonde hair resting in a tangled mess down her back. Noah smirked, "I'll leave you two alone to catch up." He turns, checking on Claire. They meet eyes.

Claire shakes her head,"Why?"

Noah raises his brow,"Why? What do you mean why?"

"I mean why are you doing this? You never answered him." Claire stated, crossing her arms.

"Claire this is ridiculous. You know me! You know what he's done to us!"

Gabriel steps forward impulsively, "Noah, listen, i'm sorry for what I've done to-"

"Yeah we've all heard that before!" Noah spat turning on him. He stares Gabriel down. Elle sinks down onto the floor, head against the glass.

"He's telling the truth." Claire chimed.

Both Elle and Noah snap their heads towards her.

Claire met Gabriel's eyes. "He is. I believe him."

"Claire, is that what this is about? You've gone soft for Sylar!? You know that's what he does… gets you right where he wants you, then strikes. Isn't that right Elle?"

"Screw you Noah!" Elle cried, hugging her knees.

"I remember when I thought I knew you. When you did things for the good of others, instead of revenge." Claire said softly, tears threatening to well up in her eyes. Noah, came closer to the glass, a solemn expression on his face.

"Look at you now…" her voice caught in her throat. She turned her back on him.

"Claire, how could you do this? Side with him?" Noah turned back to Gabriel again, "don't you think for a second I'm going to believe any of this. I'm never going to let you hurt her, or anyone ever again. I'll make sure of it!" He then headed swiftly for the exit.

"Elle." Gabriel spoke softly, moving closer to her.

Elle's eyes were swollen and red. She pressed herself against the opposite wall like a caged animal. "Don't come near me!"

Gabriel lifted his hands, and Claire approached the glass of her cell, "I'm not going to hurt you." Gabriel reassured.

"Go to hell!" She spat, "Tell me this isn't real! What did I do to deserve this?" More tears streamed down her cheeks.

"Elle, it's OK! He is telling you the truth." Claire nodded her head,

"Stay out of this! You have no idea what this monster's done to me! He's evil!" Elle bawled, clenching her fists.

Claire pressed her hands against the glass, "Elle, calm down. Listen to m—"

"You actually TRUST him?! Don't be stupid! That's all he does is lie! Makes you believe he's changed then discards you…you should have believed daddy!" Elle hissed, "I made that mistake cheerleader, and look where it got me!" She buried her head in her knees, crying silently.

"Level 4, Primatech"

-MATT PARKMAN-

Matt was shoved through the double doors of level 4. Two guards held his arms on either side, his arms bound, and the loose ability blocker still around his wrist. Agent Sanchez followed him into the hall. They walk a few more steps, then come to an abrupt halt.

"Welcome to your new home." Sanchez said grinning wildly. He entered the code on the cell wall, and the door swung open. The two guards then threw Matt inside.

Matt looked at Sanchez, recognizing him as the guard in Claire's cell from his vision. Sanchez and the guards began to walk away when Matt stopped them,"Wait!"

"What?" Sanchez replied irritatedly,

Matt thought for a moment. He didn't want to seem too suspicious, but he needed some information.

"I heard Sylar was here, you know, that serial killer… is it safe? He's escaped this place and killed inmates here before."

Sanchez smirked, "how'd you hear a thing like that? That's confidential."

Matt hesitated, "word gets around when someone like him is taken down. People like us like to know when we're safe."

"well, you'll be pleased to hear that he's not going to be a problem anymore. I make sure of that."

"And what about that girl! That one that jumped off the Ferris wheel? I heard she was here too."

Sanchez raised his brow, his smile becoming more mischievous, "you certainly are asking a lot of interesting questions. I don't have much time for it. I've got some important work to be done."

The three then turn and leave quickly.

Matt sits down on his concrete slab. Usutu appeared suddenly,"be careful with that man Parkman. He's very dangerous. One wrong move and he will ruin everything."

"Okay, so I'm here. Now what?" Parkman asked agitatedly,

"You wait."

"Wait for what?"

"The oppurtune moment."

"Stewart point woods"

-REFUGEES-

It was now late afternoon in Stewart point. Many of the refugees had been located, and brought to the makeshift camp site. The majority of them were asleep on the ground. Peter sat wearily on a fallen tree, Emma asleep, with her head in his lap. Tracy sat on the other side of him, looking exhausted,

"Peter, you need to sleep." Tracy said, staring straight ahead.

Peter looked at her with a halfhearted smile, "I could say the same thing for you."

Suddenly Hiro and N appeared through the brush. Hiro clearly winded and sleepy, while N was wide awake,

"No luck finding anyone else." Hiro said, catching his breath.

"We've gotta get going Hiro. We're wasting time!"

Emma, woke sitting up, trying to make sense of what was going on,

"We're going to need help-" Hiro defended,

"Help doing what?" Peter questioned, standing up.

N shook his head at Hiro, " it's not a good idea. I don't know if this will affect the timeline."

Peter crossed his arms, "just who are you anyway?" He turned his head to look at Hiro, "can you trust this guy Hiro?"

"Yes, he's on an important mission from the future. Future me was helping him, before he….. died."

"What mission is that?" Peter asked firmly,

"Well, we have to go to primatech…" Hiro trailed off,

" to do what?"

Hiro paused, "I don't know…"

"This is what I mean, Hiro. This guy could be lying!"

"Well, I'm not." N quipped, crossing his arms.

"I don't think future Claire would be lying!" Hiro chimed. Peter froze,

"Hiro! I told you that kind of information could be detrimental!"

"Please, you must tell us something."

N looked between the two of them, then sighed, giving in, "I have to go to Primatech to stop a weapon that will wipe out all of us. I'm not sure of when this begins, but it's got to be stopped."

"How are you expected to stop something like this?" Tracy asked, raising her brow,

"I'm an empath, I can absorb a person's power by touching them."

"That's my ability, so why aren't I on this mission?" Peter asked,

"In my timeline, you've been missing for years."

Peter was lost for words,

"Where I come from, I'm the only one left with this ability."

"What kind of weapon is capable of doing this?" Hiro asked, stepping closer.

N hesitated, "not what, but who. The weapon is one of us. I've never seen them, but whoever they are, they've killed almost everyone I know."

"I'm coming with you then." Peter stated, stepping forward,

"No Peter, it'll change everything!" N insisted,

"You've already told me too much. whatever breaks, we can fix." Peter turned to Emma and Tracy, signing as he spoke,"you two stay with the refugees. I have to go with them."

"I'm not letting you go by yourself!" Tracy replied, standing.

"I need people to lead them should anything happen, it has to be you!" Peter answered.

Suddenly a scream was heard just out of sight of the group. Many refugees woke, and looked in the direction of the scream.

A man walked into view, his hands covered in blood, a fresh cigarette in his mouth.

"Who are you!?" Peter yelled him,

"The names Sam." He said in a sickly voice,

"What happened? What do you want?" Peter asked with confusion,

"I just wanted to thank you."

"For what!?" Tracy asked,

Sam took a deep drag of his cigarette, then took it out of his mouth, and threw it on the ground.

"This buffet." Sam replied, smiling wickedly.
