Sonic: The Next Generation

Sonic and his friends have had their turn being the heroes of their world, now their kids, grown up to their ages, take over their parents' place to protect their home from any dangers, forming friendships, fighting battles, and going on many adventures along the way.

1. Annoucement

Hey everyone! What's up!?

So today is a very famous day… Today is the 32th birthday of the fastest thing alive, Sonic the Hedgehog!

And to help celebrate, I want to announce a new short story/one shot series I have been thinking about doing recently, something I have done before in my namesake fandom, so I want to give it a try here!

The series, as you can see from the title above, is going to be called Sonic: The Next Generation. Basically it's going to be the kids of the heroes we know and love, like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, etc., taking over the roles of their parents and becoming the new heroes to protect the world they live on, forming friendships , going on many adventures, and fighting battles together.

I already thought of the next generation of heroes (As well as the first villain of this series) and I'm going to share it with you!

Dash: The son of Sonic and Amy, a blue hedgehog like his father and has his father's speed and other abilities.

Ruby: The daughter of Sonic and Amy, a pink hedgehog like her mother and inherited her mother's skills with the piko hammer.

Miles Junior: The son of Tails and Cream, inherited his father's smartness and skills of being a pilot and while he inherited most of his father's physical traits, he does have longer ears like his mother and unlike his father, only has one tail.

Claws: The son of Knuckles and Rogue, a red echidna like his father and well wants to uphold the honor of being an echidna warrior like his father.

Raven: The daughter of Blaze and Silver, while a female cat like her mother, she inherited her father's silver color and his powers of psychokinesis.

Penelope: The daughter of Eggman, while she inherited her father's skills, she does resent him and often looks down on him, thinking she can do a better job than her father.

Of course these are not going to be the only characters, there will be more!

And well that's where you all can come in!

Please feel free to share any ideas you have on what other heroes or villains should be in here, as well as story ideas! I really want this to be something everyone can be involved with in its development and make this series a success! It depends on whether or not you all are interested or not!

So, with that said, I hope to see your comments and thoughts on this and well hopefully I will soon have the first chapter of the first short story in this series which will help introduce everyone!

P.S. Anyone else enjoyed Sonic Central!?

I am most excited for more Sonic Prime! (Spoilers incoming!) It's going to be exciting to see more action and how the story will continue! I love how Sonic and Shadow are going to work together to hopefully fix everything. I loved how, I think, I saw Rusty Rose and Pirate Amy actually fighting alongside each other. And that ending with the Prime version of Metal Sonic just made my mouth go wide open!
