"Thank you all so much for coming we hope you enjoyed the show!"

Soarin exclaims over the wild cheering of the crowd as he and Braeburn land back on the ground as they finish their aerial duet that they used to close the show. Within a few moments the whole arena was empty, save for Applejack and Applebloom who made their way down the stands to meet up with Soarin and Braeburn.

"So did you two enjoy the show?"

Soarin questions as he turns to greet them. Applebloom tries her best to put on a fake depressed look as she prepares her response.

"I didn't like it..."

The filly paused for a second before her face grew with glee to rival Pinkie Pie's expression when there is mention of a party.

"...I loved it! It was so amazing you were wonderful Cousin Soarin!"

Braeburn tried his best to look offended that A.B. hadn't mentioned how he was.

"Hey an' what'm Ah, chopped livah?!"

The other three begin to snicker and chuckle before full out laughing. Applebloom is the first to stop,

"O'course not cousin Braeburn you were just as great you really have gotten much betta at handling them there wings, Ah mean we only had ta repair the barn wall once."

Braeburn chuckled nervously as he recalled that day. It was the first day of practice and Braeburn had just slipped on his artificial wings for the first time and of course being the act first think later pony he could be sometimes he decided to try them out before Soarin could help teach him how to use them. He had ended up flying through the side of a barn at Sweet Apple Acres.

"So anywho, what're ya'll doing the rest of the night?"

Applejack asked. Soarin begins to reply when Rapidfire pushes in between them and interjects.

"We are having a nice night out at Sugarcube corner before the wedding tomorrow!"

Applejack mentally slapped herself for forgetting that her own cousins weddng was tomorrow.

"Oh yeah! Ah nearly forgot that was tomorrah..."

she chuckled nervously.

"Hey Ah hope ya'll haven't forgotten that ya said Ah could be yer guys' flower filly!"

Applebloom interrupted in true A.B. fashion. soarin ruffled Appleblooms mane gently.

"Course not Applebloom we didn't forget but that means you have to be there bright and early to do a practice run."

"Ah will Ah promise!"

The filly said excitedly.

After that the group said their goodbyes and Soarin and the others made their way to Sugarcube Corner.

"good evening Soarin, Braeburn, what can I do you for?"

Mrs. Cake greeted from behind the counter as Soarin and the others walked in.

"four of your apple cupcakes and two vanilla milkshakes"

Soarin stated dropping the bits on the countertop. Mrs. cake scooped up the bits and put them in the register,

"coming right up."

she chimed before walking to the back. Soarin took his seat next to Rapidfire across from Braeburn and Scath.

"It was seeming like A.j. Forgot bout the weddin' didn't it Soar?"

Soarin leaned back on the booth behind him casually.

"Yeah it did luckily we still have Applebloom, granny smith and the girls planning the celebration or else there may not be anything done."

He chuckled as he remembered the look that flashed across Applejack's face when Rapidfire mentioned the wedding, he still couldn't believe that tomorrow he would be marrying the yellow earthpony sitting across from him, 'I just hope I don't choke', he thought to himself.

"I still say you should have left the wedding planning to me..."

Scath grumbled,

"It would be fabulous!"

Braeburn shook his head.

"remember Scath Ah dun care how fabulous the weddin' is Ah could get married in a pit in the ground an' Ah would not care as long as the pony sittin' 'cross from me is there it will be perfect..."

Braeburn reminded Scath and the changeling huffed.

"I know I know, you're completely right."

Scath admitted. Mrs. Cake brought over the cupcakes and milkshakes placing them on the table.

"here you are, enjoy!"

She said as she returned to the counter to await any other customers.

"So, what are your plans after the wedding?"

Rapidfire asked as he put two straws in his shake for him and Scath.

"well Ah'm definitely stayin' in Ponyville Appleloosa will be fine without me now that the buffalo are helpin' out"

Soarin looked a little nervous and as usual Braeburn was the first to notice,

"Soarin?..."

He said the concern clear in his voice.

'do I tell him?'

Soarin thought to himself,

'what if he doesn't want to marry me anymore what if the idea apalls him...'

a voice in his head told him,

'no, I have to say it...'

Soarin steeled himself for what he was about to suggest.

"well... Seeing as how your cousin and Caramel had done so, it kinda got me thinking and I wanna have a kid..."

There it was done he said it now all Soarin could do was await Braeburn's reaction. Braeburn was shocked to say the least

'A...A foal, Soarin wants a child...'

"well okay then we can go see the adoption agency next week."

Braeburn said enthusiastically.

"well uh... that's not quite what I mean... I mean I want to have a biological child... Twilight said she has a new spell that could turn one of us into a mare for the duration of the process aftewards whicherever of us used the spell will revert back to being a stallion again no harm done and we would have a child that is biologically ours..."

Braeburn, Scath, and Rapidfire nearly choked on the piece of their cupcakes they were eating when Soarin dropped that bomb on the group. Rapidfire was the first to speak up,

"Dude! I mean I would support you with anything you choose to do... But this seems a little crazy, not saying don't do it I'm just saying that it sounds a bit drastic."

This comment earned him blow to the shin from Scath and a glare from said changeling,

"Now Rapidfire why don't we let Braeburn say what he thinks on the matter before interjecting."

he lightly scolded.

'this is definitely a mighty big surprise... I mean if its for Soarin I guess I would do it as long as we can be guaranteed the process is safe and we will both be back to normal afterwards...'

"yes..."

Soarin's jaw dropped when he heard Braeburn speak,

"what?!"

"Ah said yes Soar, if'n we can be certain that the procedure is safe an' we will both be back ta normal afterwards... Then, I'll do this fer ya."

Tears began to well up in Soarin's eyes as Braeburn said this. He couldn't believe that Braeburn would be willing to do something so drastic for him. Soarin reached across the table to pull Braeburn's head to his and kiss him gently before sitting back in his seat,

"I love you Braeburn."

"Ah love ya too Soar.."

"I still say this is a bit extreme."

Rapidfire interjected, earning himself another kick to the shin.

"Ow, would you stop that?"

Braeburn, Soarin and Scath let out a hearty laugh before the group finished their food and went outside,

"well we have a big day tomorrow so I think me and Brae are gonna turn in for some shut eye we'll see you two tomorrow."

Soarin said as he turned to walk back to Sweet Apple Acres. braeburn tipped his hat and turned to follow Soarin as the group parted ways until the next day.
