My day was spent networking with the other students just like Alberta had asked me to. In a little less than ten hours I had managed to get over thirty students to volunteer to help. This couldn't have been, however, without the help of the gang. Lissa really did a number on the moroi.

"Thank you for your help guys." I said as I joined the dinner table. Everyone looked so tired and beaten down. The news of the attack was weighing heavily on everyone here. These academies were meant to be strong holds. They were magically protected and constantly guarded by the very best. Hearing that one of them was so badly destroyed was just so shocking no one knew how to cope with it. "I couldn't have done it without you."

"It's amazing you can tie your own shoes without our help Rosie." Christian piped up.

"Can it sparky." I said sticking my tongue out at him. He was so annoying most of the time but I couldn't imagine life without him now.

Lissa just looked at us and sighed.

"It's like I'm eating dinner on the lower campus." She said.

"So Rose, how is it you got roped into this whole thing anyway. It seems to me that you are the only student that even knew about St. Basils." Eddie said joining the table.

I recounted my morning to them, well most of it. There were some details I most definitely left out. I told them how Alberta rushed in just as our training was about to start. How the attack was so devastating that the school was relocating everyone and how we were to host the largest group.

I told them what Alberta had wanted us as students to do. Christian and Eddie decided that they would organize the student volunteers that could help with the room set ups. Lissa, Mia, and I were then left with the organizing of tours. We figured between the three of us plus whoever else we could scoop up on campus, we should have the students of St. Basils in the swing of things in no time at all.

It was getting close to time for the dining hall to close and our conversation had drifted from planning to what we imagined the attack had been like.

"That's just so sad." Lissa was saying over her half eaten meal. "How is Guardian Belikov doing?"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well isn't that where he went to school? He might of known someone that is or was still there."

I hadn't thought of that. Dimitri and I have talked about his past a few times but there weren't that many stories from then I knew. Could he know one of the guardians there that fought. What about students? No. He couldn't possibly know anyone that young.

"Shit." I sat there as all color left my face. "Victoria." I muttered as I quickly got out of my seat. I can't believe I didn't realize this sooner.

"Rose what's going on? Who is Victoria?" Lissa asked as I gathered my things to leave.

"Dimitri's little sister."
