((Fillmore, an old cartoon about Hallway Monitors protecting the school from "criminals" like stink-bombers, graffiti, and all that stuff. When I think about Fillmore chasing down delinquents, it just reminds me of Gamagoori chasing down the thief.))

Cornelius thought the exchange program was suspicious. The exchange student was one Maiko Ogure, a student said to hold a high position in Honnouji Academy's Disciplinary Committee. The first time he saw her, though, she acted like a normal student. There was no doubt, considering the reputation of the academy's founder, that this girl made for a perfect spy.

However, Cornelius also realized that the goal of Honnouji Academy was not to take over the school but to acquire someone under the guise of equivalent exchange. To give Honnouji a student who wasn't a hallway monitor would be considered an insult, and Cornelius decided that his friend Ingrid could handle Ogure.

Cornelius handed his sash back to his boss Vallejo, and after giving a glance at Maiko to warn her, he stepped into the canvas-covered truck. Spying the student sitting back there, he realized that the truck wasn't just for show. The truck already started to move.

The student who was sitting and still had his head touch the roof looked down at Cornelius. "Cornelius Fillmore. Do you know who I am?"

"You're Ira Gamagoori." Cornelius reviewed. "A model student who went above and beyond the code of discipline. However, your school record was ruined by the fact that you failed graduation three times."

"Yes, that would be something to be ashamed of, but to fulfill my new goals at the time, I realized I needed to lower myself." Gamagoori admitted. "Looking back, I suppose I should have just graduated and become a teacher, though with the power structure in Honnouji, being a student is more effective."

That answered one question. "Satsuki...I've heard about her policies on other schools, but I don't think she's that interested in Y High School. What's her game?"

"You will not understand, but what she does, she has the best intentions." Gamagoori glared down at him. "All I can say is that this exchange program does not affect her plans, that she has given you to me to honor my dedication. You are free to act as you choose, but if you start any trouble, I will treat you as any other student. Is that clear?"

"Crystal." Cornelius grunted.

Life in Honnouji...was interesting. Earlier today, Cornelius just watched Gamagoori strike another student until he was nearly dead. Speaking of which, Gamagoori handed him the uniform he just snatched from the student. "Coincidentally, this was selected to be your new uniform."

Cornelius knew fully well that there was a big difference between a No-Star and a One-Star. Sure, he felt bad accepting this uniform, but a Disciplinary Committee member had to have a Goku Uniform, which he just saw now. "Weren't you a bit rough on him?"

"That spy stole a uniform and resisted detainment twice." Gamagoori analyzed his actioned. "I admit that I did goad him into putting the uniform on, yet after I attempted to restrain him, he physically assaulted me, so I had to detain him with force. You will find that all I have done was within common school rules."

Cornelius thought it over. He did not like it, yet despite the power battle, Gamagoori had only reacted to the situation. "Doesn't mean I have to like it."

Ryuko Matoi cursed herself. Never in her travels had she been curbstomped so easily, and if Mako was to be believed, then Satsuki Kiryuin wore the strongest uniform, and if not, there would be a lot of Two-Stars as well as those Three-Stars. Just when she finally found the answer in front her, an impossible obstacle stood in her way. "Damn it! How am I suppose to get the answers now?"

"Maybe you need to find out if they are the right answers first." Ryuko turned around. This boy wore one of those One-Star uniforms, but unlike those bowl-cut clones, he seems to be bald and dark-skinned, eyes hidden behind round small glasses. "I could have caught up any time, but I felt I needed to know the situation first."

Ryuko hefted her sword, not trusting the guy. "Well, good job. This used to be where Dad and I lived, but Dad's murderer stabbed him and bombed the place. I only came back in time to see the shadow of the murder, but I knew Dad created two of these blades and I could only make out the murdering carrying the other blade. Why would Satsuki Kiryuin admit knowing about the blade if no one else could even recognize the design?"

Cornelius walked up to Ryuko and sat down next to her. "I knew someone. Looked like a bad girl and took the rep for a series of stink bombings. However, I knew she couldn't have done it even if she said so, and we both took down the real perpetrator. Satsuki...reminds me of her."

Ryuko lowered her blade. "So you're saying Kiryuin wants me to slice her up? I don't see why she needs to if she lives up there. She probably has the other half in a trophy case."

Cornelius shrugged. He did not want to defend Satsuki either, and there was no evidence to suggest her innocence. "Listen, I also came to tell you that Mankanshoku, that girl you were with earlier, is going to be used as bait to bring you back in. I'm not sure that Club Captain would actually fry her, but I can't tell if it's an act or a real threat. It's not my place to make you stop fighting for revenge, but is the life of an innocent less important?"

Cornelius had nothing more to say and headed back to the school. He had not noticed a teacher spying on them, nor would he hear Ryuko stab the ground in frustration and begin her journey.
